The hype over Kylie Cosmetics has died down some what from her OG Lip Kit days, but occasionally, one of her collections causes us to take another look.

Previously, we had her Weather Collection, an entire line is inspired by Stormi and her unique metrological name, which caught our eye, and now her upcoming Halloween creation has done the same.

The Halloween Collection, which Kylie debuted on social media last night, includes four new bullet lipsticks, two in a new metallic formula, a brand new lip kit, a gloss, two liquid glitter eyeshadows, a new eyeshadow palette, and a highlighter. However, we're loving the new lip shade most of all.

After what seems like a never-ending cosmetics trend of taupy-nude lips, we're in the mood for some rich, ravishing colour to bloom on our lips this Autumn/Winter.

Kylie revealed her literally vampy new lip kit in the shade Vampire. The blood red shade is different to the other reds in Kylie's line – Victoria, Jordy, Red Velvet, Mary Jo K and 22 – thanks to it's deep, cool undertones.

It's the kind of classic red we can see ourselves reaching for it for seasons to come.

Never one to shy away from a theme, all of the packaging in the Halloween collection has holographic elements, and is printed with Halloween motif like bats, ghosts and fangs.

An interesting aspect is that the new collection is 3D, and comes with 3D glasses so you can experience the spooky packaging magic.

The full line drops at midnight on October 12, and it would be a frightful shame to miss teh sale – this kit is sure to sell out.

Kylie Jenner kept us all in the dark during the final few months of her pregnancy – surprising everyone with her Instagram announcement of her first child Stormi.

Although Kylie shared much of what she got up to during the pregnancy in a YouTube video about the past nine months, one area it didn't cover was Kylie's work life on Kylie Cosmetics.

The KUWTK star decided to work on a very specific collection project during her pregnancy – one completely dedicated to her baby daughter.

Dubbed the Weather Collection, the entire line is inspired by Stormi and her unique metrological name.

Before Kylie's leave of absence on social media, there was much discussion in the online beauty community that Kylie's makeup brand had somewhat lost it's edge in the industry thanks to the triumphs of other innovative brands like Fenty Beauty and Jeffrey Star Cosmetics.

However, the electrifying Weather Collection Kylie has just presented on social media is all the evidence we need to show that the makeup mogul is still on top of her game.

Kylie's makeup line has always been one which gives customers and followers of celeb and influencer makeup trends exactly what they want – in 2016 that was a mauve lip kit, in 2017 it was a berry eye shadow palette, and now in 2018 it's a high shine, amped up, unapologetic collection covering everything from matte lipsticks to glitter eye shadows.

While KKW Beauty is all about keeping things natural, glowy and always nude, the Weather Collection is a literal breath of fresh air and a zing of energy amongst a beauty landscape of tired neutrals.

Let's break down the collection product by product so you get the gist of what I mean.

First up, lets discuss the packaging,. It focuses on contrasting shades of black and electric yellow with splashes of holographic lettering and graphic print cases.

The makeup casings come in clashing colours like iridescent navy, grey and hologram, and the entire effect gives off very Urban Decay Vice palette meets niche, independent Etsy makeup brand vibes.

The 'I' in Kylie has been replaced with a lightning bolt throughout the collection.

There are no lip kits in the collection, instead we have three new formula matte lipsticks.

The first shade is a throwback to vintage 2014 Kylie, with blue tipped hair, 'over lined' lips and flannel shirts tied around her waist.

It's a matte black called Nightfall, and seems to be the more mature development of one of her early lip kits called Dead of Knight – a product that was dogged with bad reviews due to it's less than perfect formula.

However, Nightfall is described as being a 'traditional' matte lipstick with an opaque finish – exactly what the customers clamoured for after in their feedback for Dead of Knight.

While I did complain earlier about the saturation of nude, neutral makeup on the market earlier, I'll allow Kylie to get away with the next two colours and call them a balancing act for Nightfalll.

The two other matte classic lipsticks in the trio are a deep nude and a light nude, nicknamed Cosmic and Nova (interestingly enough, Nova was one name that Kylie blogs predicted she might call her baby, so perhaps it was a contender after all).

While these lippies are pretty, they're the least interesting aspects of the new collection.

Staying with lip products, Kylie has also created a high shine, early 00s lip gloss that 2006 Paris Hilton would buy in bulk.

The Flash Glitter Gloss glimmers holographically, amd I'm thinking it would look pretty good as a lipstick topper over any shade of lipstick, or as a statement, stand alone gloss.

The collection wouldn't be complete without a few highlighting products, and Kylie's cult loose highlighting powder line is getting a new addition in the form of the  Lightning Bolt Ultra Glow.

The highlight threatens to outshine the already existing highlighters with its eccentric yellow and gold undertones, combined with silver flecks.

Never one to do things b y halves, Kylie is also using the Weather Collection to introduce a new Wet Set pressed powder highlighting palette, with four warm highlighter pans.

This is where the most attentive packaging detail comes in – the palette exterior is designed with a cloud graphic print, and a select few of the stormiest looking clouds are – wait for it – fluffy.

'I worked on this pretty much throughout my entire pregnancy,' she said on Instagram Stories.

'I spent a lot of time on this collection and I put a lot of detail into it.'

While Kylie's previous eyeshadow palettes have been in response to makeup trends, be they online ones or those started by the mum-of-one herself, Kylie's latest two are a step away from the now typical nude, brown and warm-toned palettes we see on every beauty guru in the land.

The Calm Before The Storm Palette contains a variety of pairs of matte and shimmer shades, in a selection of colours from lavender to mustard to peach.

The colours are strong and bold while staying fresh and feminine, and the name fits perfectly into the weather theme, as well as being reminiscent of the typical description of pregnancy being 'the calm' before the arrival of a newborn.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

The Eye of The Storm palette, however, is where things get interesting.

This palette is a strong, bold combination of deep navy shimmers, striking canary yellows, icy silvers and jet blacks mixed in with base nudes you can build the dramatic shades on.

The colours are so deep and pigmented, we can see them being used with a wet angled brush as eyeliner.

It's not exactly the most wearable palette for everyday, but its the perfect antidote to the warm and neutral shadows that are dominating the beauty trend sphere at the moment.

Now, maybe it's just me, but the EOTS and the CBTS palettes combined are giving me serious Anastasia Beverly Hillls Prism and Subculture Eyeshadow Palette vibes.

The ABH Subculture was a hotly anticipated palette released a few months ago – but with slightly disastrous results.

Customers and beauty gurus alike complained that the shades were beautiful but crumbly AF- the fall out close-up shots from the palette were pretty shocking.

Now, the brand has since rectified the consistency issue, but perhaps Kylie spotted an opportunity to create sough after shades in  the right texture? Just a conspiracy theory, but the colourway is quite similar.

The Prism Palette, Subculture Palette and the Eye of the Storm and the calm Before the Storm combined both have soft peaches, nudes, lavenders, strong yellows, glitter greens and jet matte blacks.

While the colourway similarities are probably a coincidence, or a response to customer demand, it's worth noting that with the go-ahead from both Kylie Cosmetics and ABH, neon yellow eyes may be about to take over from berry-toned smoky shadows.

Keeping with the eyeshadow theme, Stormi also inspired her Mum to develop four new glitter creme eyeshadow shades.

The Glitter Eyes Eyeshadow Duos are getting serious hype over on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram.

The packaging is complete ed with little lightning bolt motifs – and the duos compliment the rest of the collection perfectly.

Destiny and Violet Moon, a combo of brown and blue, are ideal for a night out look, while Twinkle Twinkle and Superstar could be used as highlighters as well as eye shadows.

Overall, the collection is to Kylie what a sexy nude Instagram picture is to Kim – a declaration that she is back, better than ever and still more than on top of her game when it comes to hyping and selling out a makeup collection in seconds, new industry competition be damned.

The collection drops on February 28, and we can only predict that much like her early launches, the Weather Collection will sell out in seconds.

Welcome back, King Ky.

Kylie Cosmetics dominated the Instagram beauty landscape last year, but this year another celeb collection is aiming to out-strip the KUWTK star's brand in terms of sales.

Fenty Beauty is on track to outsell both KKW beauty and Kylie Cosmetics in 2018.

The brand is only a few months old, but it's already seeing astronomical sales internationally.

According to WWD, Rihanna's line saw sales five times higher than Kylie Cosmetics in the first month of this year.

Kylie Cosmetics and Fenty Beauty have been pitted against one another from the get-go by online beauty fanatics.

Rihanna fans came for the reality TV star's most recent concealer collection, claiming that Kylie is simply trying to 'keep up with' Fenty Beauty.

Rihanna recently revolutionised the beauty industry with her Fenty Beauty PRO FILT'R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, which is available in 40 shades, from the palest white to rich mocha.

The foundation was even named one of Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2017.

Kylie Jenner has created an apic makeup empire thanks to her penchant for lip liner, and in true Kardashian fashion, has collaborated with her sisters on the brand.

With big sister Khloe, the teen released a line of lip glosses, while with Kim, the pair opted to create a series of nude matte lip sticks.

The only sister who haven't but their name to Kylie Cosmetics are Kendall and Kourtney, but that could be about to change.

One eagle-eyed KUWTK fan spotted that in the background of an ad for an upcoming episode, there is a mysterious empty lip gloss tube mixed in with some Kylie Cosmetics samples.

The empty tube clearly has the work Kourtney stamped across it in bold letters.

Kourtney, hailed as the sassiest and most sarcastic sister, has been our fave Kardashian from the get-go, and we would love to see what she and Ky could come up with.

With Kourtney's penchant for a nude lip and sheer highlight, we're hoping for something with a neutral, natural feel.

However, with Kylie's Kourt K lip kit, dedicated to her big sis, she opted for a dramatic, vampy purple, so who knows what the sisters are going to pull out of the (makeup) bag?

We're sure Kylie will be the one updating us via Snapchat, as is her usual method of announcing new makeup endeavours.

Rumours began swirling that the 20-year-old was concocting her own concealer line after she uploaded a makeup tutorial on her Snapchat using an unnamed concealer product.

The snap was quickly deleted after eagle-eyed fans began clamouring for the name of the full-coverage product.

Now, the rumours have been confirmed by Kylie herself, who took to social media to announce her new range of makeup pieces.

Taking to Snapchat, Kylie said:

'I cant believe I actually get to reveal to you guys my 30 concealers today, the first time I've ever done concealers. I wear this every single day,' she said, before revealing that her own shade is called Maple.

'My first concealer formula, I'm calling it Skin Concealer because this is a medium coverage but super buildable.'

The collection is hyper inclusive, with a vast range of shades.

The teen also revealed a new line of lipsticks, called the Silver Series, but kept the new shades under wraps.

However, not everyone is here for Kylie's new makeup venture.

Rihanna fans are coming for the reality TV star's new concealer collection, claiming that Kylie is simply trying to 'keep up with' Fenty Beauty.

Twitter users have accused the makeup mogul of attempting to steal Rihanna's thunder with the launch.

The products land on December 13, along with a third which has yet to be revealed.

Think they would arrive in time for Xmas?

Kylie Jenner has enjoyed major success with her makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, since it launched in 2016.

Kylie fans can usually get an inside scoop on what products Kylie plans to bring out next by what trademarks the entrepreneur files.

Her covetable Kylighters were revealed months before they were introduced to the world by the public trademark registry.

Now, Kylie has trademarked a pretty interesting phrase, which may be a hint to her next makeup endeavour.

According to TMZ, the 20-year-old makeup mogul has trademarked the terms 'Kylie Jenner Truck' and 'Kylie Truck.'

Kylie's products are only available online and through pop-up stores, which have only been hosted in the USA, so perhaps the reality TV star wants to make her brand mobile, and therefore more accessible to the masses?

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

Kylie already has plans to have multiple pop-ups within US Topshop stores over the holiday season, so it's not too much of a stretch to consider that she wants more of her customers to be able to play with her cosmetics IRL.

Unfortunately if this is the case, she would need a 'Kylie Jenner Plane' to get them over to Ireland, and that phrase hasn't been coined quite yet.

Until then, we'll be online window shopping her Christmas Collection if you need us…

Kylie Jenner is celebrating her 20th birthday today with some pretty amazing news.

Kylie and Kris Jenner revealed to Women's Wear Daily exactly how much the expansive Kylie Cosmetics empire is actually worth, and the figure is jaw dropping.

According to the duo, Kylie Cosmetics has amassed $420 million in retail sales since it launched 18 months ago. No big deal.

Kylie first tested the theory of Kylie Lip Kits back in November 2015, and what began as an experimental dip into the world of beauty has become a bona fide business for the 20-year-old.

The company is on track to become a billion dollar business, with WWD estimating that Kylie Cosmetics will make another $386 million in retail sales in 2017.

With her limited edition collections selling out in seconds, and her permanent makeup pieces consistently selling well, it's no wonder Kylie is quite literally rolling on it thanks to her cosmetics concept.

It seems the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan can do no wrong when it comes to the world of beauty.

All of her beauty experiments, from lip kits, to loose highlighters to eye shadow palettes sell out.

While we're sure momager Kris has had a hand in guiding her daughter's business venture, this is more than impressive.

Also included in the collection is The Birthday Book – a pressed powder palette consisting of nine eyeshadows and two blushes.

The new range will include not one, but two mini liquid lip sets – the Velvet Mini Liquid Lip Set and the Matte Mini Liquid Lip Set, each with six brand new shades.

What's more, there will also be a new Lip Kit in Twenty, a matte rosewood shade, as well as a limited edition rhinestone incrusted version of the the brand's original shade, Kylie.

Kylie Jenner has found herself at the receiving end of some very unflattering accusations.

The reality TV queen has been accused of copying the artwork of British graphic artist Sara Pope in the trailer and branding of her upcoming biopic docu-series, Life of Kylie.

The lip motif-loving star featured a neon set of lips in the trailer for her new show.

A post shared by Sara Pope (@sarapopeartist) on

However, the distinctive design was spotted by the artist, who claims it is too similar to hers to be a coincidence.

The artwork was created in 2015, and TMZ  claims that it has seen legal documents filed against Kylie Jenner by Sara Pope.

However, a statement given to the website claims that the trailer was made by a third party, so Kylie herself had nothing to do with the conception or creation of the graphics or images within the ad.

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

Kylie recently found herself in a similar situation after she and Kendall were forced to apologise to numerous musicians and the families of numerous deceased musical icons, after they used images of the musicians on a series of 'vintage-inspired' t-shits without permission.

The collection was pulled from Kendall and Kylie's clothing line immediately.

Kylie has also previously been accused of copying other lip imagery in the past.

In 2016, make-up artist Vlada Haggerty claimed Kylie had used her original dripping lips motif in social media imagery for Kylie Cosmetics without permission or credit.

Kylie deleted the images, and later reuploaded them with proper crediting.

The teen has now teamed up with big sister Kim to create the KKW by Kylie Cosmetics Collection, and makeup fans are already clamouring to get their hands on the covetable kit.
