Reality TV star Kylie Jenner is not your average 18-year old. Having spent most of her teenage years on camera for millions of viewers, she has been quite vocal about the toll this takes on an individual in the past.

Now it seems that Kylie is keen to use her very public persona in an effort to shed light in a topic that is very important for her and plenty of other young people around the world.

The teenager has launched an anti-bullying campaign on social media, using the hashtag #IAmMoreThan, she announced the campaign on Monday.

She wrote that she wants to feature stories of six individuals who have been able to turn their past experiences with bullying into something more positive.

I am so excited to launch my new @Instagram campaign #IAmMoreThan. Let's do this #IAmMoreThan #StopBullying

"For the next six days, I will be sharing stories of 6 incredible people who have become heroes in their own way by taking #bullying and turning it into something positive," Kim Kardashian's little sister wrote. "I've gotten to talk and bond with all of these people whose stories you will see on my page. I think you will all fall in love with them just like I did."

In June of this year the KUWTK star admitted in a Snapchat video that she has experienced bullying of her own.

She told her fans:

"I've been bullied since I've been 9,  from the whole world it feels like sometimes," she said. "And I think that I've done a really great job at handling all of this."

Today Kylie shared the story of a college student called Renee who was born with a genetic disorder which affects how the bones in her face fuse together.

#Day1 – Renee DuShane (@ALittlePieceofInsane) a 21 year old college student who was born with #PfiefferSyndrome. Renee described it as “a genetic disorder where the bones in my face don’t really know how to fuse correctly so part of my jaw is really small. I had to have surgery when I was born so that my brain could grow.” Renee is so strong willed and a super intelligent girl who told me that while growing up she never had many issues with bullying. "I went to school with all the same kids all the way through high school. Right around senior year, I started getting very anxious about having to explain my condition to all of the new people I would meet in college. I started going on Tumblr and saw lots of profiles of positive, confident people” that inspired her to start sharing her photos even with her insecurities. “It’s so hard to keep myself from responding to the negative comments,” she told me. “Even harder is keeping my friends from getting angry.” It's so important to have a great group of friends. Renee also told me about the tattoo she recently got of her life motto: Stay Strong, Always Love. “Loving is always going to be a better place than hating,” she shared. Check out Renee’s Instagram @ALittlePieceofInsane – she’s showing the world #IAmMoreThan my forehead. I love you Renee! She is so awesome & inspiring. Renee taught ME that #IAmMoreThan the negative comments that I read.

Khloé Kardashian has made plenty of headlines of late displaying her ‘revenge body’ on social media.

Her Complex magazine cover certainly had people talking as she bared her hard-earned physique for the masses.

The reality TV star has said herself that she is obsessed with the gym and credits her trainer Gunnar Peterson for helping her get into serious shape.

A photo posted by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on

Earlier today Khloe took to social media to post a snap of her wearing her waist trainer and gushing about the benefits of using one of the highly debated trainers.

Admitting that she is “obsessed” with the trend which many people have claimed could cause some serious damage, Khloe wrote that it “never hurt nobody.”

Saying that the trainers keep her “waist snatched” and “posture perfect”, Khloe displayed her curves proudly in a make-up free selfie. She credits the Waist Gang Society and Premadonna87 brands as the only trainers worth trying.

The waist trainers on whatsawaist.com can be as much as €110 to purchase, Khloe claims that “once you try it, you will become obsessed!!!”

The Mail Online points out that medical experts have dismissed claimed that waist trainers will help permanently change your figure.

Some fans weren't too keen on the practice, with one writing: "I heard that this was bad for you,I feel like it's a waste. I don't like the idea of it. Just workout is my motto and eat right."

“Medically, it doesn’t make sense that cinching your waist tightly will make it permanently smaller,” Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, clinical professor of ob-gyn at Yale School of Medicine, told Women's Health magazine.

She added, “It’s also uncomfortable, restricts your movements, and if you wear it really tight, it can even make it difficult to breathe and theoretically could cause rib damage.”

Khloe is not the first of the Kardashians to promote products that have raised a few eyebrows.

Recently sister Kim landed herself in hot water when she promoted a morning sickness cure that had not gotten complete approval from the FDA.

Younger sister Kylie also had people talking not too long ago when she credited a miracle cream for helping her attain her eye-catching curves and fuller cleavage.

Ah, Instagram, how we love you.

From all the celebrity photos we could ever need, to killer street style snaps, and dishes of delicious food (especially of the quirky kind) – we have to admit we're addicted.

But with good pictures comes embarrassment, as I'm sure we've all experienced.

If you are not guilty of one of these, you're lying.

1) Taking a selfie in a public place… and getting caught

We just wanted people to see our outfit of the day! But the SHAME when you get caught.

2) Spending WAY too long arranging make up/food/pets

We swear, those fresh flowers, perfume bottle and pretty items were all just lying there perfectly styled together – they were BEGGING me to take a picture.

3) Pondering over a caption for longer than five minutes

"What will I caption this pic?!"; "Is this funny or will people think I'm weird?"; "Am I being too abstract".

4) Letting boyfriends go hungry – because you need to snap your meal first

He hates you for it, but will give in – because he KNOWS how important it is.

5) Taking 50 selfies in a row to get the 'perfect one'

But sometimes even that one isn't good enough, *open camera* – *selfie mode*… and it starts all over again.

6) Struggling to show off all your accessories in the one picture

You have practically become a yoga instructor while cramping to get everything into one snap. Ouch.

7) Stopping in the middle of the street to get the ideal angle

Because the traffic will wait for you, obvs.

There are tens of thousands of popular Instagram accounts which chart weight-loss.

The user's progress is documented in workout sessions, calories consumed, kilos shed, and dress-sizes – not to mention the requisite before-and-after shots.

However, one young woman has decided to do the opposite: Amalie Lee is instead charting her weight-gain.

A recovering anorexic, she is championing her new body shape through a series of gorgeous pictures that are now inspiring others.

The 20-year-old also shares snaps of her food intake: a refreshing selection of Nutella-covered crepes, jelly sweets, bars of chocolate and ice cream.

A native of Norway, but studying at a university in London, Amalie says her struggles began in 2012.

“I went through a depressive phase in my mid-teens, and my perception of myself hit an all-time low," she says now.

"I just wanted to disappear. My eating disorder was never about looking like a model, it was a way to cope.

"I made bizarre rules for myself about what I allowed myself to eat, when, where — even what spoon to use."

Ms Lee says she resisted treatment initially, but gradually came to realise that, with her BMI dropping dangerously low, she could end up dead.

In 2013, she entered hospital as an out-patient and began rehibilitating.

"There wasn’t a magic moment where I had a recovery revelation, it was many small things at once that made me choose recovery," explains Amalie, who has chosen not to disclose her lowest or current weight, lest it act as a trigger to others.

2013 vs 2015. Anorexia did not just randomly "let me go", and vanished by itself. I let go of anorexia, and it was not easy. Stop waiting for a perfect future moment when you are ready to recover, because life is what passes by whilst you waste your time waiting. Start NOW. There is no perfect recovery, perfect meal plan, perfect weight gain. You have to eat, sometimes you feel like you are exploding, expanding into infinity and loosing control, but you are not. By allowing yourself to heal you are IN control. Eating a whole chocolate cake by yourself because your body is so goddamn desperate after all the restriction, is actually GOOD, both for body and mind. We live in a society that labels calories as something negative, but that is not right! Calories allow your heart to beat and your hair to grow. Without calories, there is no recovery or life. Calorie is a term for energy, everything around you is energy, calories are your bodies energy, just like electricity for a light bulb and battery for your phone✨ Sometimes, when it hurts, it means you are doing something right. I sincerely believe there is hope for every eating disorder sufferer. The brain ghosts (as @fightthepoop nicely names it) will haunt you at times after the recovery process is gone, but those thoughts are not dangerous unless you turn them into actions. The screaming ED voice will gradually give up when it sees that you don't obey, and it will eventually turn into occasional whispering. IT GETS BETTER #realcovery

A photo posted by REDEFINING HEALTHY (@amalielee) on

She only began her Instagram account, which she has named Redefining Healthy, less than three weeks ago, but has already gained more than 72,000 followers.

"Luckily I got good treatment," she reflects now. "I learned a lot, both from my treatment personnel."

Weight-wise, by the spring of 2014 she was declared fit and well, though she adds that "it takes longer to recover mentally".

Amalie also posts positive messages to her fans, and challenges the assumptions surrounding eating disorders.

"Most people with eating disorders are normal- to overweight," she highlighted in one recent post. "Most people with eating disorders don't have clinical anorexia nervosa.

"There is NO such thing as being 'too big' for an eating disorder. Not all underweight people have eating disorders or are unhealthy."

She concluded in the same post: "We need to stop labelling and judging, and start accepting that people come in different sizes, and that is OK."

Should you feel impacted by any of the issues included in this article, please contact BodyWhys, a voluntary organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders. BodyWhys runs a LoCall helpline on 1890 200 444, and also has an email support service via alex@bodywhys.ie. Check out the website here for furthermore information.

We've probably ALL made a social media mishap of sorts: you share something you shouldn't; you get caught out stalking an ex; you post a totally ill-advised image.

But hey – it always could be worse.

Recently, BuzzFeed asked its readers to share with the US-based website their worst online errors: and here at SHEmazing! we just had to pick-out the nine best ones – if nothing else, let these be a lesson to us all.

Prepare to cringe…

1) I went on two dates with a girl I liked. I decided to stalk her family on social media in the middle of the night and I accidentally added her mother as a friend.

Her mother accepted.

2) You know how Ron Burgundy says, “Well that escalated quickly”? In the sixth grade I accidentally posted on my sister’s Instagram photo “Well that ejaculated quickly.” I’ve never been more embarrassed.

3) Once when I was talking to a guy in private messages I got my screens mixed up and announced to EVERYONE on Facebook how large my penis is and what I like to do sexually. My mother saw it. I stayed off Facebook for a month solid.

4) A girl I know was once trying to drunk Facebook-stalk her boyfriend’s ex. She woke up in the morning to find that instead of searching the girl’s name she’d just made it her status over and over again. They broke up.

5) Not my fail per se, but my mother “accidentally” Facebook friended the woman my ex-boyfriend married. She accepted. I’m mortified.

6) When I first made a Facebook, I saw where you can post a status, I thought this meant relationship status…. So my first Facebook post was the word “single”.

7) When I was in high school, a very popular teacher got arrested for having multiple affairs with some of my classmates, and the day she got arrested I went to search for her name but instead set it as my status.

I didn’t realise my mistake until I was called in to the principal’s office and was asked if I knew specific details about the ordeal.

8) I stalked my co-worker’s Instagram and went through every photo. Next week, she went private and I asked her about it at work. She gave me a weird look and said “I don’t remember telling you about my Instagram”.

9) About a year ago I was Snapchatting this super cute guy I had just started talking to. I had just sent something to the guy when I got a Snapchat from my best friend saying she was eating chocolate chip cookies.

So naturally, I made the most hideous, obnoxious face I could and the caption said “soft or hard?” because I prefer the soft kind and she prefers the crunchy kind. I clicked the name at the top of my friends list and hit send when I realized to my horror I had sent it to the cute guy.

Picture that, you open a Snapchat from a girl you’re talking to and its just the most obnoxious picture that’s captioned “soft or hard?” I wanted to explain but I realised I didn’t have his number…

While her big sister Kim Kardashian might be queen of Instagram – Kylie Jenner is definitely the reigning leader over all things Snapchat: she has the world's most viewed account.

And while she's been cautious about flaunting her relationship with boyfriend Tyga before she turned 18 earlier this month, the duo are definitely going all out with their PDAs in the aftermath.

So understandably – fans have been waiting in earnest for the couple's first Snapchat official embrace. Indeed, yesterday rumour was abound that they'd FINALLY taken the plunge.

However, sadly on further inspection, the video which sparked the discussion is not entirely as it seems.

Shared with her millions of fans yesterday, in the short clip the reality TV star can be seen locked in a tight hug – with her arms wrapped around the other party's neck; they holding on tight to her waist.

The video appears to have been taken in a plush bathroom – likely one at Kylie's €2.2m mansion, which is located near the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner abodes in California's upmarket Calabasas area.

Go follow @kyliekworld

A video posted by Kylie Jenner Snapchats (@kylizzlesnapchats) on

The red cap of the featured individual, as well as their slim physique and shorter height, suggested that it was indeed Tyga – but a closer look reveals it is actually a female friend.

For example, Ms Jenner's companion sports long, polished nails (NOT Tyga's usual style). The pair are also captured laughing and giggling together, and by the end Kylie murmurs: "My wig's gonna fall off!"

Comments online confirm the speculation, with many fans concluding that the friend in question is in fact Anastasia Karanikolaou – better known as Stassie.

She is part of the Jenner sisters' inner squad, and recently accompanied them to Mexico to mark Kylie's 18th birthday.

During the holiday, she even borrowed momager Kris Jenner's famous retro pink swimsuit – which was given a new lease of life when Kylie was snapped wearing it on the beach.

The youngest Jenner and Tyga have supposedly been dating for more than a year – certainly they have been inseparable since she celebrated her 17th birthday back in August 2014.

At this stage we're all experts at taking photos that fit perfectly in the Instagram square, but forget everything you know because it's all about to change.

The folks behind the photo-sharing app have finally decided to make portrait and landscape photos a possibility, so now you can post that #OOTD mirror selfie without loads of manky white space on either side.

So it's goodbye to this:

A photo posted by @gabriellesworld on

And hello to this, the first ever portrait post, shared today by Instagram's Head of Fashion Partnerships Eva Chen:

The feature has only just launched, so you'll need to update your Instagram manually if your phone has yet to do so automatically.

"It turns out that nearly one in five photos or videos people post aren’t in the square format, and we know that it hasn’t been easy to share this type of content on Instagram," the company said in a new blog post today.

"Now, when choosing a photo or video, you can tap the format icon to adjust the orientation to portrait or landscape instead of square. Once you share the photo, the full-sized version of it will appear to all of your followers in feed in a beautiful, natural way. To keep the clean feel of your profile grid, your post will appear there as a center-cropped square."

We're already excited for the possibilities… just look at this gorge landscape shot:

For more portrait and landscape shots as they are posted, you can search #thinkoutsidethesquare on Instagram.

It was the title that somehow eluded the otherwise undisputed queen of social media: Kim Kardashian had always lagged behind Beyonce Knowles when it came to adoring Instagram followers.

Not so any more, however. Yes, this week it became apparent that the reality TV star had overtaken the singer, beating her to the milestone 44million mark.

And as of this morning – Mrs West is still a nose ahead of Mrs Carter.

So just how did Kimmy Kay do it? Here, SHEmazing! looks at the five ways that Kim managed to nab Bey's crown…

Exposure:

Kim posts a lot of pictures. All the time. Beyonce? Well, she's a lot more low-key. In fact, the pop-star has only shared six snaps in the last week. Kimmy, on the other hand, has offered up a grand total of 24.

And when it comes to hovering up more fans, there's a lot to be said for posting daily rather than weekly.

Family:

There's no doubt that both women are married to mega-successful rappers and businessmen, but Jay Z and Queen B have always conducted their relationship away from the spotlight. Indeed, they didn't even publicise their marriage until after their vows had taken place.

In contrast, Kim is regularly followed by KUWTK cameras and all her life's major milestones and events – including her union with Kanye West – are documented and shared in detail.

The same applies for their daughters: we see A LOT more of North West than we do Blue Ivy Carter.

Body:

Beyonce's bikini photos undeniably demand heaps of attention: a laid-back and natural swimsuit snap from earlier this summer garnered 1.5million likes and more than 30,000 gushing comments.

But of course, Ms Kardashian is always willing to go above and beyond: she recently shared a totally naked pregnancy body pic and regularly parts with mega-cleavage baring selfies.

Celebrity pals:

Her famous family is one thing – but Kim also ropes plenty of other big names into her Instagram posts.

There's Jennifer Lopez at the Met Ball, after all, as well as some of fashion's biggest names (Valentino, Olivier Roustein, Riccardo Tisci et al) – not to mention the ultimate selfie nap: Hillary Clinton herself.

Meanwhile, Beyonce's celebrity posts are largely confined to folk she's close to: think Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and her sister Solange.

Although just occasionally, she does share a sneak-peak of her with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Blake Lively.

Magazine covers:

We just saw Beyonce looking all sorts of amazing on US Vogue, but you have to hand it to Kim: she regularly bags hugely high-profile covers.

In the last few months alone, there has been Vogue Espana and Vogue Brasil, not to mention Elle France.

And – as if we could forget, there is her break-the-internet Paper magazine cover from late last year too.
