We can never get enough of cute baby animals, so luckily for us Dublin Zoo have just welcomed a new and oh-so lovely arrival.

The zoo is now home to a new baby Rothschild giraffe, who was born on October 28.

Just look at him there, all gangly-legged and tiny:

Though adult giraffes can grow to a staggering 6m, this little fella currently measures up at just 1.5m… around the same height as us, really.

At one week old, the little one weights  45kg, but by adulthood that could increase to as much as 2000kg. He better start eating his veggies.

The new baby joins a herd of nine giraffes at the zoo, including another youngster who was born back in May.

"The calf was born in the giraffe house with the other female members of the herd present," team leader Helen Clarke-Bennett explained.

"The team watched the birth unfold on our closed circuit cameras.

The birth took over an hour and we noticed that the herd was very attentive each step of the way."

Giraffes are the tallest of all living mammals, with their long necks giving them the choiciest picks of leaves from the top of tall trees.

Like human fingerprints, each giraffe's coat has its own unique markings.

Having not one but TWO teams playing in a Rugby World Cup final is something us Irish folks can't really relate to, but for poor Annabelle it's a very real problem.

The youngster lives in Australia, but her mum Andrea Gatchell is a New Zealander, meaning she'll have to shout for both teams in today's RWC final clash.

Poor Annabelle… #thestruggleisreal#goallblacks #undecidedannabelle

Choosing a favourite turned out to be a bit too much pressure for Annabelle yesterday, and her tearful meltdown has gone viral since her mum shared it on Facebook.

"'I really want to go for New Zealand but if Australia lose I'll be really sad … and if I go for Australia, you'll be really sad because you're a New Zealander," she says through her tears.

And when her mum asks who she would prefer to win all she can say is, "I don't KNOW."

Our heart goes out to little Annabelle… but she'll no doubt be celebrating no matter who wins.

In case you missed it, animals being adorable at Halloween is pretty much one of our favourite things here at SHEmazing

So when we came across Bilbo, the tiny corgi pup, we could barely contain our excitement.

Bilbo is going viral after his owner filmed him becoming extremely confused by an equally tiny pumpkin.

This Tiny Corgi Hates His Tiny Pumpkin

At first, Bilbo tries to tell this pumpkin who the boss is.

But it doesn’t work, and he does not understand this nonsense.  He tries one last time to get the pumpkin to back off, but it doesn’t work.

The puppy’s owner, Jackie, wrote that this isn’t the first time Bilbo faced off with his orange nemesis. In another earlier video , he is equally infuriated by the seasonal treat.

Generally, dogs in any form of costume (whether they are minions or all out Halloween legends) are considered absolutely adorable.

However, an LA based dog groomer Jess Rona has proved that sometimes dogs are even better when they go for a more natural look.

She chronicles her dog grooming escapades on Instagram and the 16 second videos are enough to make our day.

Instagram is often the place we find some of the best hair inspiration when we’re considering a style transformation. It only makes sense that now our four-legged friends are getting in on the action too.

Over the weekend, San Francisco’s Ocean Beach was the host of the second annual NorCal CorgiCon Fall Beach Day.

Also know by corgi lovers, and just canine fans in general as the best day ever.

Founded by residents of San Francisco just last year, the festival was set up to honour the humble corgi. It also raises money for animal rescue efforts, with proceeds going to West Coast organisations along with Corgi Aid and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.

This weekend’s main event was the Corgi Costume Contest, in which approximately 630 dogs participated.

There were also various games, races and raffles rounded out Saturday’s soirée. Raffles! Who doesn't love a good raffle?

The Bay Area party actually comes around twice a year, once in the summer and once in autumn. Even if corgi fanatics can’t make it out to the beach to party with corgis, they can still support the cause. The CorgiCon website allows dog lovers to stock up on merchandise, learn about the event various sponsors and donate to animal shelters.

But before you do anything else, please look at these snaps from CorgiCon’s Costume Contest below — you can thank us later.

Guaranteed mood boosters those corgis are.

If you thought that you were a dedicated pet owner then we are sorry but this man has put everyone to shame.

Eugene Bostick is an 80-year old from Fort Worth, Texas. He and his brother, Corky, created together the magical invention called the dog train.

This is the coolest guy he rescues stray dogs and every morning he takes them for a train ride by our building, i finally got the courage up to ask if I could take his pic! Love this and had to share!

Posted by Tiffany Johnson on Thursday, 17 September 2015

The siblings have cared for the wildlife near their home for the last three decades. They also noticed a lot of stray dogs near their road and began to pick them up and take them. This led to the fantastic idea for the dog train.

They wanted to be able to bring their canine family with them as they took trips around their town. When Eugene saw a tractor pulling multiple carts behind it, he realised he could do the same thing for the dogs.

“I’m 80 now, so I suppose it can’t last too much longer” he told The Dodo “but I’ll keep it going as long as I can.”

He also said the dogs get “so excited” about their weekly train rides.

Well, we can see why.

This week marked the 25 anniversary of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Aside from making us feel and incredibly jealous when we realised that the cast have pretty much managed to defy the aging process entirely, we also got quite nostalgic.

While there has been news of a possible reboot of the series being made in the future, we don’t think there’s anything that could match the original. If you haven’t attempted to sing every single word of theme song then you haven’t been living your best life.

Instead of going down the normal lip sync avenue, to celebrate the special occasion the people at Buzzfeed chose a much more adorable option.

After their successful canine-filled Friends remake, they gave Will Smith and company the same treatment.

It made us very happy.

On Monday Chris Perry posted a short video clip of an elderly man waiting in the airport. Since then millions and millions of people have watched the clip and fallen in love with the older man.

By Tuesday morning it had been viewed over 6 million times and shared almost 40,000. Now, the number of views has moved to over 22 million.

The video is probably the cutest thing you will watch all week. If you needed something to restore your faith in humanity then this should do the job.

He may not look like it: but after this weekend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has confirmed what we already knew, he’s just a big cuddly teddy bear.

The former professional wrestler, now star of Ballers had a very exciting holiday weekend in the U.S.

The 43-year old adopted two French Bulldog puppies and only hours after bringing them home was rescuing them from serious danger.

The action hero took to social media to explain what happened to the adorable pups when he posted a photo of himself and the duo in the pool.

Here's a fun Labor Day weekend story… We just decided to add two new members to our Johnson family. Baby French Bulldogs. In my right hand is BRUTUS and in my left hand is HOBBS. Bring them home and immediately take them outside so they can start learning how to "handle their business and potty like big boys". I set them both down and they both take off in a full sprint and fall right into the deep end of our pool. HOBBS immediately starts doggy paddling while BRUTUS (like a brick) sink heads first to the bottom of the pool. I take off into a full sprint, fully clothed, dive in the pool, swim to the bottom, rescue my brick, I mean BRUTUS and bring him back to the edge of the pool. He was a little delirious.. took a moment, threw up all the water he swallowed and looked up at me as if to say, "Thank God you didn't have to give me mouth to mouth!" and then ran off to play with his brother. A few lessons I've learned today.. A) Not all puppies have the instinct to doggie paddle. B) Some puppies (like BRUTUS) will be so in shock by experiencing water they will sink extremely fast so react quick. C) While spiriting to save your puppies life, before you dive in, try and throw your cel phone to safety. Don't keep it in your pocket… like I did. #BRUTUSLives #HOBBSCanSwim #MyCelPhonesDead #AndNoMouthToMouthNeeded #HappyLaborDay

He introduced the pair as Brutus and Hobbs before explaining what happened that left one of them quite shaken.

“Bring them home and immediately take them outside so they can start learning how to 'handle their business and potty like big boys.' I set them both down and they both take off in a full sprint and fall right into the deep end of our pool.”

He continued that while Hobbs seemed to have already mastered the doggie paddle, poor Brutus did not fare so well.

“Brutus (like a brick) sinks heads first to the bottom of the pool,” he explained how he then took off and dived into the pool to bring the tiny canine back to the surface.

“He was a little delirious, took a moment, threw up all the water he swallowed and looked up at me as if to say, 'Thank God you didn't have to give me mouth to mouth!”

Dwayne then went on to highlight for his fans that not all puppies will take to water easily, so be careful. He also noted that if you’re diving into a pool to save your beloved pooch, make sure you take your phone out of your pockets. Oops.

There seems to be an awful lot going on in the Beckham household of late.

Not only do they have Brooklyn’s Miss Vogue over to celebrate, but they are also welcoming another member into their growing brood.

Earlier today Victoria herself took to twitter to announce their new arrivel with a very cute black and white snap.

The 41-year old fashion designer captioned the photo:

“Meet Olivia Beckham, our new baby.”

You can’t deny with those puppy dog eyes she is definitely going to be bringing some extra cute to the household, not that they need any.

Olive is probably able to give her older (human) brother Brooklyn a run for his money with her sweet little face. Not that Brooklyn has anything to worry about as the 16-year old is obviously very comfortable in front of the camera.

While he has already appeared on the covers of style and fashion magazine, including Man About Town, the Beckham family all seem very excited about his latest achievement.

Thank you @missvogueuk check it out, #missvogue4brooklyn

Following in his parents footsteps, he will appear on the magazine’s October cover and inside he revealed that while he thinks his mom “knows a lot about fashion”, she’s not who he takes all his style advice from.

A photo posted by David Beckham (@davidbeckham) on

“My mum knows a lot about fashion, but obviously I listen to my dad as he has great style and we share clothes.”

He also lists James Dean and Steve McQueen as his style heroes and said that one the most humbling experiences of his 16 years was meeting Stephen Hawking with his parents.

We have scientists to thank for an awful lot of things, but most recently they are responsible for abundance of adorable animal photos taking over social media.

It began with some bat-eared foxes and baby bears competing to be the world’s cutest baby animal. Things then escalated very quickly when a tiny sea turtle entered the competition, and also a squirrel glider.

Then everything got very out of hand but we really really don’t want it stop.

Competitors are not just limited to small animals either:

Even the non-fluffy types are vying for attention.

We honestly didn’t know baby fish were capable of being this adorable.

This might be one of the best trends yet.
