Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall have seemingly responded to rumours of a ‘rift’ between them!

After a decade of performing together as Little Mix, Perrie and Jade – as well as their third bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock – chose to take a hiatus from the pop group in May 2022.

Ever since their temporary break began, fans of the Black Magic hitmakers have constantly been on the lookout for the girls to reunite at events.

However, Little Mix fans were let down and left confused over the weekend, when Perrie and Jade attended the same wedding but did not post any photos or videos of themselves together.

On Saturday, Little Mix’s PR boss Simon Jones tied the knot with his partner Rich Lally in London. Among the extensive star-studded guest list, Perrie and Jade also attended the wedding.

Following the lavish ceremony – which included Perrie and pianist Myleene Klass performing a beautiful cover of Celine Dion’s That’s The Way It Is – many Little Mix fans took to social media to express their worries about Perrie and Jade not being seen together.

“Jade and Perrie at the same wedding but no pic together. WHY,” one fan penned.

“Photos everywhere of Perrie and Jade with everyone except together,” another noted.

“You’re telling me that Perrie and Jade were at the same event and they did not take a picture together? SERIOUSLY?” a third fan exclaimed.

However, the Shout Out To My Ex singers have now taken to Instagram to ease fans’ feud concerns.

Firstly, 30-year-old Perrie took to her Instagram stories to re-share a Twitter user’s post from the film Dumb and Dumber, which showcased Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels’ characters wearing orange and blue suits – the same colours of Jade and Perrie’s respective dresses.

“Finally a picture of Jade and Perrie at that wedding,” the Twitter user teased.

“At least we got one pic together @jadethirlwall,” Perrie wrote alongside the post.

“The photo you’ve all been waiting for…” 30-year-old Jade hilariously added in her re-share, confirming that the pair are still friends.

We're still gutted that we didn't get a mini Little Mix reunion snap!

Mrs Hinch has been opening up about her son Ron starting school.

The cleaning expert has shared an honest insight into the first few days of her eldest son’s experience in primary school.

Sophie Hinchliffe admitted to feeling worried about Ron and revealed she’s been crying over this new chapter in the four-year-old’s life.

Sharing a life update to her 4.7M Instagram followers on her Stories, Sophie explained she’s been feeling, “Crap, drained, exhausted- Just not great at the moment guys. Mainly, Ron started school last week, I’m going to be honest, it completely knocked me”.

“I feel stupid saying it but it’s mad isn’t it how much we worry? And I worry about worrying. I’m one of those people”.

The mum-of-two went on to reveal, “But he’s doing really well, thanks guys. He’s doing so well. He loves it, he actually loves it”.

“He came out of school today and went, ‘I had a lovely day, I saw my friends’. I cried again, you know, you just keep crying”.

The cleaning influencer and her son experienced a difficult time earlier this year when the tot was battling Kawasaki Disease.

After Ron had to spend time in hospital because of his condition, Sophie explained the worrying situation on social media.

“We have spent the past 10 days living whats felt like a real life nightmare… Ron’s temp spiked 40 at home, I phoned an ambulance. Ron was admitted and IV antibiotics started but NOTHING was working, in fact Ronnie deteriorated”.

Hinch continued, “Seeing Ron this way kicked me with a fear and desperation I’ve never felt in my whole life. What is happening to our son! Please tell me!. After a couple of days, more symptoms appeared and results returned. Ron was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, something I had never heard of before”.

“Kawasaki disease is a rare, non contagious disease that only affects around eight in every 100,000 children under the age of five in the UK. This disease causes swelling of the blood vessels throughout the body. It can also affect the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle when not treated early enough”.

Luckily, the illness was caught early enough so ‘Ron’s heart wasn’t affected by the disease’, and the family got to go on a summer holiday to Spain in July ahead of Ron’s first day at school.

As well as being mum to Ronnie, Sophie and her husband Jamie are also proud parents to their two-year-old son Lennie.

Interior design is all about the little details. While some people think of sofa cushions primarily in practical terms, experienced designers know that these small accessories can make a big impact on how guests perceive a space.

Of course, the first step is to take stock of the sofa situation. Is it old or new? Large or small? What kind of shape are the current cushions in? Do they do not just the sofa but also the room, as a whole, justice?

If the cushions are worn or simply don't go with the overall decor of the room anymore, it's time to rethink things. Start by checking out Custom Cushions UK to view the latest trends in luxurious yet affordable bespoke cushions and covers. After replacing old cushions with newer, fresher, and trendier alternatives, it's time to get down to business. Read on to find nine cushion arrangement tips from interior design experts.

1. Pair Two Cushions for a Simple Look

The simplest way to dress up an old sofa is to choose two cushions with the same fabric and place them in the center of the couch equidistant from each other and the armrests. This minimalist approach is perfect for monochrome sofas of any colour. For those who want to keep things simple but also inject a little extra personality, adding two throw cushions with contrasting fabrics creates a unique look without adding clutter.

2. Adopt a More Eclectic Style

Not everyone has embraced the minimalist aesthetic. For those who like a home to look lived in, more eclectic styling is a great option. This style involves tossing multiple layers of cushions onto a sofa with no apparent rhyme or reason. Mixed prints, materials, and textures are all acceptable, but don't be fooled. Home designers need to put some thought and experimentation into getting this look just right. Here's what they need to consider:

Scale of Prints

When choosing patterned fabrics, consider the scale of the prints that will be paired together. Large, medium, and small prints mixed produce more interesting and balanced-looking cushion arrangements than prints that are all of the same size.

Cushion Styles

While there's no need to match prints, sizes, or colours, all of the cushions should have a similar style. Designers need to consider the visual quality of the cushions as well as their overall aesthetic. Adding one formal cushion in with a group of casual ones is just fine, but do it intentionally.

Adding the Extras

This style is all about creating a casual, bohemian vibe, so it's not just fine but actively encouraged to add plenty of extra touches. Fringes, tassels, and braiding are all great options for an eclectic sofa cushion arrangement.

3. Try a More Balanced Style

There are many options for people who want their sofa's appearance to fall somewhere in the middle on the scale from minimalist to bohemian. A more balanced arrangement is still the tried-and-true approach for a reason. This traditional arrangement is visually appealing and still gives designers a little leeway to play with things like color texture, and patterns without risking making the whole sofa look too messy.

Balanced cushion arrangements are great for bringing multiple fabrics together into harmonious configurations. Experienced designers can use it to give symmetry and lend a slightly more formal air even to casual cushions or eclectic fabrics.

For those who want to go the extra step, bolster and lumber cushions are both great options. They add extra visual interest without taking designers as far off the beaten path as touches like tassels and braiding.

4. Use a Central Arrangement to Add an Element of Surprise

Most people are used to cushions either placed equidistant from each other towards the center of a sofa or confined all the way at its ends. Using a central arrangement can change that norm and add an element of surprise.

To get this style right, use at least three pillows, and don't be afraid to add more on top of them, especially on curved sofas that don't have structured ends. Experiment a little before deciding on the specifics of a central arrangement. Rounded designs for round sofas, for example, make a harmonious combination. Smaller cushions might look better on a sofa that's too tiny for normal arrangements at each end. Don't go overboard and cover the whole sofa with cushions, but don't be afraid to get a little creative, either.

5. Use Separated Trios of Cushions For a Timeless Look

Want to create a timeless look that won't need to be updated every year according to passing trends? Trios of cushions placed in mirror-image to each other on either end of a sofa will do just that.

This cushion arrangement is nearly foolproof. Simply choose three pillows of different sizes that look like they go together and match the sofa's color or pattern, then place the largest of them in the back at an angle to the sofa's back and armrest. The medium pillow goes in front of the large one at a slight offset from the arm, and the smallest of them goes in front of that.

When arranging the pillows on the other side, try to create an exact mirror image for a neat, composed look. For those who prefer a room that looks more "lived in," changing up the configuration or even the fabric colors can get the job done without disrupting the balance of this classic cushion arrangement.

6. Alternating Patterns Also Create Aesthetic Balance

Want something a little more unique that still won't throw off the balance? Placing cushions all the way across the couch using alternating patterns, colours, or sizes is the way to go. The two fabrics chosen must complement each other since they will be layered one on top of the other in an alternating pattern.

Some people also place throws in the middle that combine colours or pattern elements from both designs. This gives an alternating cushion pattern a more polished look while also adding an extra dimension.

7. Get Artistic With Different Shapes

Exceptionally artistic interior designers can choose to look at cushion arrangements as they would a gallery wall, playing with the geometric strengths of different shapes and offsetting them against each other in unique ways.

Most people opt for square shapes in traditional cushion arrangements. For a more artistic look, try throwing in bolster cushions and circular or rectangular shapes, as well. Just be sure to curate the arrangement's fabrics to create contrasting designs that highlight their unique features.

8. Individual Cushions Are Good For Formal Arrangements

Individual cushions can be placed on more formal sofas to emphasise their square structure. This cushion arrangement tends to feel more formal and professional, so it's a good go-to for home offices where guests may need to be entertained. To avoid making the sofa look too harsh, consider using contrasting colours or adding a throw.

9. Welcome Guests With a Hybrid Cushion Arrangement

Hybrid cushion arrangements combine the best of many worlds. They can be formal or casual depending on how refined the fabrics and patterns are, often feature layered styles for an approach that's neither minimalist nor maximalist, and work well with accessories that contribute to visual balance. The end results are far less chaotic than an eclectic cushion arrangement but are more welcoming than minimalist designs.

How to Choose the Right Cushions

Choosing the right colours, patterns, and cushion styles is as important as arranging them properly. Some designers are happy to work with what they have, but most opt for replacing old cushions with newer ones that look clean, crisp, and perfectly suited to the sofa style. Buying new cushion covers is also a good, affordable alternative.

Want to keep the existing cushions but also play around with new arrangements that require a more maximalist approach? Custom cushions are a perfect option. Taking this approach allows designers to give manufacturers specifications such as dimensions, shapes, and colours or patterns to get exactly what they want. The new cushions will be guaranteed to be a perfect fit for the existing sofa arrangement.

Whether buyers opt for bespoke cushions or out-of-the-box alternatives, quality should always be a top priority. Foam, feather, and fibre cushions are all perfectly fine options, but none of them is right for every situation. The same goes for different types of materials. Adding a common, coarse fabric to a luxurious cushion arrangement will create a jarring contrast, and the same can be said of using one luxurious pillow in an arrangement that's otherwise casual.

Start Experimenting

Cushions and cushion covers are relatively inexpensive, particularly when compared to other interior design accessories. While it's fine to do some research and check out different looks online, don't be scared to take the plunge and start experimenting. If something doesn't look quite right, fixing the problem is usually a simple matter of adding or subtracting a cushion or investing in a new cover. Just choose affordable options that will also be versatile enough to allow for periodic changes to the design.

Big news coming out of Galway Comedy Festival HQ today, with the release of the full 2023 programme for the October Bank Holiday. UK comedy superstar John Bishop, TV’s Phill Jupitus, Milton Jones, & Seann Walsh, plus Irish legends Deirdre O’Kane, Ardal O’Hanlon, Kevin McAleer, Barry Murphy, Andrew Maxwell & David McSavage have just been added to the bill, alongside previously announced Jim Jefferies, Panti Bliss, Omid Djalili, Rhys Darby, Jimeoin, Rich Hall, Emma Doran, Reginald D Hunter, Serena Terry’s Mammy Banter, Enya Martin, John Colleary, Al Porter & Polish TikTok star Mama Na Obrotach.

The biggest names, the greatest laughs, and Ireland’s largest comedy festival – it can only be Galway Comedy Festival, and this October it will deliver the most exciting and ambitious line-up yet assembled in the event’s near 20-year history. The Festival now boasts a 70-strong line-up of international stars, homegrown comedy greats, and emerging talent performing at 69 shows, across 17 Galway venues, from Tuesday 24 to Monday 30 October.

John Bishop, one of the best-loved comedians on the circuit, will treat Galway to headline appearances in The Black Box, Leisureland and Róisín Dubh. The charismatic Liverpudlian is an acknowledged master of everyman comedy. A working class hero with an accent to match, John has become a household name just by being his incredibly funny self.

Equal parts charming, brash, confrontational and offensive, Jim Jefferies, has added a third date of his latest show for Galway, due to enormous demand. The award-winning Sydney native will Give ‘Em What They Want in Leisureland, Salthill on Wed 25, Thurs 26 and now Fri 27 Oct.

The outspoken Queen of Ireland, Panti Bliss, shall sashay her way to the Black Box to perform the acclaimed show, If These Wigs Could Talk. Standby for raucous tales of a lifetime of accidental activism and making a full time show of herself. From touring with Cindy Lauper to Pantigate and the Marriage Referendum, Panti has packed in a hell of a lot and is ready to tell all.

John Bishop

Galway’s Town Hall Theatre is home to a host of top class solo shows including the towering presence of Reginald D Hunter & the laid back nonchalance of Rich Hall. Following his outstanding performance last year, Irish/Aussie Jimeoin returns with his no-gimmicks, superbly observed humour with his new show, Who’s Your Man?! And here’s a treat: Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords, Jumanji), will perform the best material from his comedy career in the retrospective show, 25 Years. There’s also a rare visit from Omid Djalili (The Mummy, Mamma Mia 2) & the sublime Al Porter’s first theatre tour in six years.

Róisín Dubh, the home of comedy in the west and also Festival HQ, is the location for the Bulmers Festival Club, the Late Night KARLnival, and numerous solo shows, including sold-out nights from both Serena Terry and John Colleary; Danny O’Brien’s new show taking a nostalgic look at a 90s childhood; burlesque and cabaret from The Dirty Circus; and the debut solo show from Polish-language TikTok sensation, Mama Na Obrotach.

TikTok sensation, Mama Na Obrotach

The Loft at Seven will host shows from social media sensation Enya Martin, record-breaking Aussie Elena Gabrielle, and a sold-out work in progress show from Emma Doran. There will also be weekend afternoon showcases where audiences can discover their next favourite comic.

As ever, the Festival will deliver fantastic mixed bill shows in Leisureland, The Black Box and the ballroom of The Hardiman Hotel in Eyre Sq, kicking off on Tues 24 Oct with David McSavage, Enya Martin, Reginald D Hunter, Glenn Wool & Al Porter. The other six nights also feature big name headliners, with Jimeoin, Rhys Darby, John Bishop, Ardal O’Hanlon, Kevin McAleer, Milton Jones, Seann Walsh & Deirdre O’Kane performing across the city.

Karl Spain, an essential part of Galway Comedy Festival, is back at the helm of his Late Night KARLnival at Róisín Dubh after a year away to tour arenas with Kevin Bridges. Always a must-see, the KARLnival is where comedians gather at the end of the night – you never know just who will appear on stage in the iconic venue – for late night revelry, not very gentle slagging and a sense of ‘How are they allowed to say that?’

Festival favourite Phill Jupitus is making his long-awaited return to Galway this October, performing with Stephen Frost’s improv crew and co-hosting our closing gala with Karl Spain. He will also be the Festival’s Artist in Residence. A comedic renaissance man, Phill is a skilled artist and cartoonist (his cartoons appeared in NME, Time Out, Radio Times, and The Guardian) and his own solo show for #GCF23, “Sketch Comic”, will see him interview a comedian, while he and the audience sketch what they see.

The mediaeval heart of Galway city centre beats a little faster during the Festival. This is a town that loves to party and #GCF23 has all the ingredients for a good time: Comedy Club Crawls snaking their way around the city streets & venues in the afternoons; interactive dinner theatre from Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience; Gáire as Gaeilge hosted by Hector Ó hEochagáin; cosy chuckles in Ireland’s Smallest Comedy Club; and a night of nonsense with popular Galwegian event crew WOMP Events. Add in family friendly comedy and magic shows, and it’s a bewildering variety of events, but somehow it all works for one joyous Bank Holiday blast of comedy-fuelled fun.

Festival Director Kevin Healy said “Once again we have scoured the globe to bring you more than 70 top class performers. Some of our acts fill international arenas, others you’ll know from the telly, and a select few we found earning their stripes in basement comedy clubs, but know this: you are in good hands. Each and every one of these artists have been hand-picked for your delight. That’s why we call it carefully curated craic. We suggest you take a chance and go to see someone you haven’t heard of yet.

We would like to thank all our partners especially Galway City Council, Bulmers the Official Cider of #GCF23, our Media Partners at Today FM, Róisín Dubh, The Latin Quarter, our Festival Travel Partner Irish Citylink, our Accommodation Partners, and the many local businesses who support us through our Friends Of Comedy scheme (the FOCers )”

Tickets for the full Festival programme will go on sale this Friday 15 Sept at 10am via www.galwaycomedyfestival.ie

“This is definitely the hardest part for me personally. Just having a little bit of hair helps me,” she noted, pointing to the remaining strands she has left.

Bobby, who is the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, went on to add that he hopes to get to grips with Strictly life soon.

This Saturday, Strictly viewers will get to see the new cast on the dance floor, as they perform their first group number and discover who their professional dance partners will be.

Then, on September 23, the contestants will dance live for the first time in front of an audience.

For generations, nature has been an inspirational source of beauty and effectiveness for Clarins. Benefiting from its unique expertise and the pioneering creation of the first 100% plant extract oils in 1966, Clarins now incorporates the very best of plant oils in its latest complexion creation.

But as always, Clarins likes to dare, especially in make-up and invent a modern, innovative beauty which goes beyond all women’s expectations.  Has everything already been done for the complexion? Are there still women who are searching, swapping one foundation for another tinted cream, without really feeling satisfied?

Clarins didn’t think so which made it time to create their first tinted skin care serum…Tinted Oleo-Serum.

What’s so good about Tinted Oleo-Serum?

It’s a unique complexion experience thanks to a texture like a soft caress which fuses with the skin:

  • It instantly illuminates the skin
  • Cares for it, day after day
  • And all you need is a few drops to enhance and even the complexion and nourish and protect the skin
  • It’s also ultra-easy to apply
  • A few drops that make all the difference: the full radiance of your face is revealed, in all its velvety, satin and above all, incredibly natural-looking beauty.

Tinted Oleo-Serum. Not just a skin tint.

From the 1st application, it feels different: thanks to the exceptional super-light, barely-there texture of this tinted serum, it’s easy to create the perfect, tailor-made coverage for you.

It delivers an ultra-natural, almost transparent healthy-glow effect just like an invisible make-up which adds that certain something, that transforms and illuminates your face, instantly.

The skin is radiant with a perfect even complexion as imperfections are blurred and skin texture is smoothed.

Feel You Need More Drops?

Just choose the coverage which matches your skin.  Whatever you decide, the result is a stunning glow which enhances all skin types, even the driest skin. It’s still you but glowing with a unique radiance.

Shades

Tinted Oleo-Serum comes in 11 shades which range from fair to dark, and adapts to all skin tones.

What’s so good about it?

  • Its “second skin” effect texture does not mark or accentuate any fine lines. It’s so light and even, like it’s not even there, to give that magic sensation all no make-up fans only dream about.
  • It’s perfect for all women, even those in a hurry, as application is both easy and intuitive and the result always flawless, with no visible make-up lines.
  • It delivers a natural-looking, shine-free complexion with no oily film on the skin and if you’ve a long day ahead, your complexion will stay flawless-looking for 8 hours.
  • It’s a unique union of colour and skin care expertise: made with an 80% skin care formula, it delivers a makeup finish, but with all of the beneficial power of skincare

Clarins Innovation The [TRI-OLEO COMPLEX]

Clarins, the plant oil expert, has combined complementary oils known for their powerful properties. The [TRI-OLEO COMPLEX] is composed of 16% plant oils, to give an intensely nourishing action, complemented with vegetable squalane and ceramides with a protective benefit.

  • 83% of women observed a healthy glow effect
  • 73% of women observed more radiance to the skin

  • 86% of women observe the skin is supple
  • 70% of women observe a “second skin” effect, as if the skin was bare

Responsible Formulation:

Protecting biodiversity, supporting fair trade and favouring responsible sourcing of ingredients are commitments Clarins has made for over 65 years.  In keeping with this, it’s worth noting:
