Sharing how her eldest felt about becoming a big brother, Rihanna admitted, “He struggled in the beginning, but he loves his little brother”.

“Every time he thinks we're not looking at him, he'll come over and touch him. If the baby's crying, he'll just hold his hands. It hurts him if the baby's crying”.

Helen Flanagan has been speaking about co-parenting with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair.

Helen and Scott, who separated last year, share three children together- eight-year-old Matilda, five-year-old Deliliah and two-year-old Charlie.

With Christmas right around the corner, Helen has opened up about co-parenting with Scott during the festive holidays and discussed that she is not spending Christmas day with her little ones this year.

While appearing on Lorraine, which was hosted by Ranvir Singh, earlier today, the former Coronation Street star spoke about how much of a ‘journey’ co-parenting has been.

Ranvir asked Helen, “So what's happening at Christmas? I know you've split up with your partner and it's all very amicable but you are separate this Christmas aren't you, how is it going to work out?”.

“So yeah, I feel like with co-parenting it is a journey isn’t it”, Flanagan replied.

“I feel like if everyone was like, ‘Oh yeah we're the best of friends all the time’, I think that would be a lie”.

Helen went on to say, “Me and my ex, you know, we loved each other very much but we’ve got a… well I suppose we're up and down”.

Sharing an insight into her Christmas plans with her children, Helen detailed why she won't be spending Christmas day with them.

“My kids just love their daddy so much and they are going to him for Christmas for four days. Scott is working in Bristol and he plays football”.

“Then I'm going to go to Bali for 10 days with them for New Year”.

Helen recently divulged more details about spending Christmas away from her children when speaking with Closer.

The 33-year-old explained, “My children are very close to Scott’s mum – we get on very well – and they live in Bath and I live in Bolton. My children really miss their daddy and they’re very close to their nanna, so they’re going to spend Christmas with them. I won’t have them for about four days”.

“It will actually be the first Christmas that I don’t have my children. I think it’s good to have challenges, and with co-parenting you’ve got to be fair. And it’s not about you, it’s about the children and what makes them happy”.

Government will today be considering a new road safety proposal, with the aim of preventing increasing numbers of road fatalities.

The Minister of State for Transport Jack Chambers hopes that the Cabinet will approve his Road Traffic Bill, which would see the introduction of several regulations for road users.

Due to the current Road Traffic Act 2002, a driver can only receive one set of penalty points for the highest offence committed, if they have been found to commit multiple offences at the same time. As part of his new proposals, Minister Chambers has now suggested that Gardaí should be able to apply multiple penalty points in a single stop, if a driver has committed more than one offence.

Earlier this year, the Speed Limit Review recommended that default speed limits on Irish roads should be reduced. The Road Traffic Bill intends to address these suggestions by lowering speed limits from 50km/h to 30km/h in built up areas, from 100km/h to 80km/h for national secondary roads and from 80km/h to 60km/h on rural and local roads.

If the bill is passed into law, Gardaí will also soon be carrying out mandatory drug tests at the scene of a serious accident, in line with alcohol breathalyser tests. At the moment, Gardaí are only required to carry out a drug test if they feel it is necessary to do so.

The new Road Traffic Bill proposals come as the number of road deaths during this year continues to rise at a worrying trend. As we approach the final days of 2023, it has been recorded that over 180 people have lost their lives so far on Irish roads.

This statistic is a stark contrast to the 155 fatalities that occurred throughout all of 2022, and the 135 people that lost their lives in 2019.

If the Road Traffic Bill is passed, the Government aims to use it to help reduce road deaths and serious injuries by 50% by 2030.

Laura Anderson has been discussing her plans for Christmas with her baby girl.

The former Love Island star welcomed her first child into the world, Bonnie, back in September with her ex-boyfriend and Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy.

As Christmas is fast approaching, Laura has revealed how she plans on spending her first festive season with her daughter while co-parenting with Gary.

While chatting to Closer, Anderson explained, “I’m taking her to see Santa and if it snows I want to take her sledging, she can sit on my lap! She doesn’t understand this year of course, but I’m looking forward to doing all the traditional things with her as she gets older, like leaving a carrot and cookie out for Santa”.

“I think Bonnie will end up having two or three Christmas Days, and I’ll be doing a lot of driving so there won’t be much champagne for me this year!”.

“My mum and dad aren’t together, so we’ll be visiting them both, and I’ll also go down south. I want to take her around and make sure everyone gets to see her. She won’t remember, but I want to include everyone. She’ll be spoiled, I’m sure!”.

Laura went on to admit that she never imagined herself as a single mum, but she’s ‘grown as a person’ since becoming one.

“Of course, I would love to wake up on Christmas morning and have that family unit in one place. I’m quite traditional so I never imagined being a mum by myself”.

“But I think when you’re pushed out of your comfort zone is when you grow the most and I do feel like I’ve grown as a person this year. Bonnie is the most important thing now and I just do everything around her, and it’s going to be like that forever now!”.

The former reality star then spoke about her and Gary’s co-parenting relationship, explaining, “We’re on good terms, it’s early days but I’m trying to focus on her, rather than myself. I think putting your personal feelings aside and speaking to the person as a friend rather than your ex helps”.

“It’s going to be a journey as she’s only a baby and this is all new to me. But I try to include Gary as much as I can. She has two parents and I want her to know that I always put her first”.

Laura also recently spoke out about feeling ‘pressure’ ahead of Bonnie’s first Christmas as she revealed, “All about B. First Christmas I feel a bit of pressure, it won’t be perfect Angel but every year I promise to make it even more magical”.

Many famous faces have been rallying around Melanie Schilling, after it was revealed that she has colon cancer.

The Married At First Sight star, who appears on both the Australian and UK versions of the hit series as a relationship expert, confirmed the sad news last night.

Taking to Instagram, Mel posted a heartbreaking snap of herself and her family – her husband Gareth and the couple’s eight-year-old daughter Madison – sharing a hug by their Christmas tree.

“‘YOU HAVE CANCER.’ Three little words that everyone dreads but no one ever expects to hear. Last Thursday my consultant told me those 3 words,” the 51-year-old began in her lengthy caption, before going on to detail her symptoms.

“About a month ago when I was filming in Australia I developed severe stomach cramps on set, I put it down to all the travel I’d been doing and the upset it caused to my system,” she recalled.

“I saw my GP in Sydney and he put it down to constipation, gave me some laxatives and sent me on my way. Fortunately I knew something still wasn’t right so I booked in for a scan when I returned to the UK. On Thursday I was told I had colon cancer and in an instant my whole life changed,” Mel admitted.

The reality star noted that she had planned to be in Northern Ireland for Christmas with family, but now she will be spending it in recovery.

“Tomorrow morning I’m checking in to hospital to have an operation to remove a 5cm tumour in my colon, a tumour that had it gone undetected for much longer would have killed me,” she confessed, adding that she feels “incredibly blessed” to be expected to make a “full recovery”.

Following her news, many stars have since sent their well-wishes to Mel in her comments section.

“Oh Mel- sending you all the love and healing for you and your family,” replied former Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse.

“You've got this Mel. Praying for a full and speedy recovery,” added fellow MAFS expert Charlene Douglas.

Neil Jones has been opening up about his excitement to celebrate his first Christmas as a dad.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer and his former Love Island star fiancée, Chyna Mills, welcomed their first child into the world together, a baby girl named Havana, in October.

While speaking to OK!, Neil revealed, “I’m so looking forward to Christmas as a dad – it’ll be different, but I love it. I’ve always been family-oriented, so I’ll really enjoy it”.

“Our plans for Christmas aren’t sorted yet. Normally, I go abroad because my thing is to finish Strictly and then go on the tour in the new year – so if I don’t go away in between, I don’t have time”.

Jones went on to admit, “Chyna and I haven’t decided where we’ll go, but I think it’s the best time to take Havana away when she’s this small. They say to start them young!”.

While discussing his and Chyna’s parenthood journey, Neil sweetly described his fiancée as a ‘natural mother’.

“Chyna has been brilliant. She’s such a natural mother and knows so much. If I’m ever not sure how we do something, she has the answers!”.

“Parenthood is tiring, but it’s exciting. I don’t get too much sleep – especially last night! Chyna had an early morning today, so I took the nighttime shift. But it’s worth every moment”.

The pro dancer then explained, “When I’m feeding her, I’ll just look at her and think, ‘How did I create you?’. I look at Chyna and I think, ‘Yeah, she’s Chyna’s daughter, that makes sense. But this girl is too pretty to be my daughter!’”.

A post shared by CHYNA MILLS (@chymills_)

“I think she looks like Chyna, but Chyna thinks she looks like me – so we don’t know! She’s only a couple of months old, so it’s hard to say”.

Neil also shared how he and Chyna balance being parents with their hectic work schedules.

“When it comes to fatherhood, I take it all on – I love it. Chyna and I take turns, so we try to do 50/50 through the night. But if one of us has a long day or an early start, we switch and let the other one get some sleep”.

Amara Clinic in Dublin 2 is the first clinic in Ireland to introduce its new revolutionary machine microneedling device, Exion RF microneedling by BTL Aesthetics. The latest generation microneedling device with radiofrequency therapy, Exion, uses the tried and tested science of microneedling while incorporating artificial intelligence and radiofrequency to turbocharge results.

Exion RF microneedling is designed to improve skin strength, tone, condition, fine lines & wrinkles, scars and overall skin appearance, making this treatment a game changer and is the first treatment that doesn’t just stimulate collagen and elastin but also hyaluronic acid production. Hyaluronic acid (the hydration molecule in Profhilo) is naturally formed by your body. We lose hyaluronic acid at a pace of 1% per year from birth so replacing it with something other than fillers is a great development.

Exion is an obvious addition to Amara’s catalogue of results-focused treatments, delivering better results with less discomfort and shorter downtime compared to any other device of its kind. The device was created by BTL Aesthetics and took 7 years to develop and train AI to use precise, effective, intelligent targeting, Exion RF microneedling has quickly become one of the most popular machine-led treatments at Amara because the results speak for themselves.

Dr Paul Munsanje, Medical Director of Amara Clinic, said:

"I am thrilled to have launched Exion here at Amara Clinic in Dublin. When you consider microneedling treatments pre Exion to what we can do now, it’s a world of difference! 82% of patients don’t need numbing cream now unlike traditional microneedling. There are improvements in results, downtime required, discomfort and length of treatment. All of this makes the experience much better for the patient. Myself and the team at Amara remain committed to providing the latest and most effective skincare treatments, which is why we have introduced Exion, and we areonfident that our clients will be thrilled with the results."

Dr Paul Munsanje, Medical Director of Amara Clinic

In the heart of Georgian Dublin, just off Fitzwilliam Square, is Ireland’s premier luxury aesthetic centre, Amara Clinic.
