Chrissy Teigen has opened up about the heartbreaking baby loss of her son.

In September 2020, the cookbook author and her husband, musician John Legend, suffered the loss of their son Jack, 20 weeks into their pregnancy.

Now, three years on from her devastating experience, Chrissy has chosen to open up about her memories of it. 

In an interview on Crooked’s Hysteria podcast, the 37-year-old was asked about her experience.

“It’s hard because I have very few memories of it. I’ve always been the kind of person that has blocked out a lot of time around trauma of any kind,” she explained.

Chrissy then went on to confess that she had no idea her pregnancy was ending.

“I am totally unaware that anything bad is going to happen. Honestly, I had no idea that it was going to go the way it did. I just thought I was going to the hospital. I was bleeding a little bit, but I was bleeding a little bit for a long time. I didn’t realise that everyone around me was really nervous,” she detailed.

Chrissy, who has since given birth to 10-month-old daughter Esti and welcomed five-month-old son Wren via surrogacy, later noted that her baby loss is still “surreal” to her.

“I don’t mind speaking about it. It doesn’t make me anxious, because it still feels so unreal and so out-of-body. If anything, the things that I sit on are regrets that I have from that day, because it all happened so fast. I wish I had taken a look longer, wish I had held him longer,” she admitted, before getting emotional. 

Through tears, Chrissy recalled one act of kindness from a stranger in the days after her loss.

“I just remember going to the grocery store and having a woman just lay down flowers for me, that she had purchased already, in my cart. Those memories for me way outweigh any negativity I get from anybody,” she concluded.

Janette Manrara has been celebrating a milestone birthday!

The former Strictly Come Dancing dancer marked her 40th birthday yesterday.

Joined by some of her fellow Strictly stars, the mum-of-one was given a ‘40’ glitterball cake with a fondant figure of herself popping out of the top of it. 

"I finally got a glitterball everybody!" Janette joked, referring to the fact that she never got to lift the trophy during her time on the hit BBC show.

Janette’s fellow professional dancer Dianne then went on to gush: “Everybody at Strictly wants to wish you a massive 40th birthday.”

Janette was then presented with a pre-recorded video of her young family, as they snuggled up together in front of the camera. 

"Hello mummy, we want to wish you a happy birthday with lots of love and happiness. We're so proud of you. You're an amazing mum and beautiful wifey,” Aljaž exclaimed, cuddling his four-month-old daughter.

Proud mum Janette looked delighted with the heartwarming message, as she later beamed: “This is the best way to spend my birthday – talking about Strictly and this cake! Thank you everybody!"

After the show, the TV presenter later took to Instagram to reveal a new portrait of the family-of-three, following Lyra's birth in July.

“40 is looking to be the most beautiful year yet,” Janette penned in her caption, adding: “Love you both more than I can ever describe… Counting my blessings.”

Check both for out-of-date items -don't forget to recycle – remove everything and give it a good clean and think about how you are putting it all back in. Try to use up items that are almost empty in the days running up to the Christmas shop to give you more space. And please don’t forget your list! It’s the worst time of year for over shopping so help reduce waste and make a to-do list.!’

HEAD START

Lyn explains, ‘Buy fresh veg, peel, prep, and freeze. Make stuffing and prep items like potatoes in advance. Pop all your stocking fillers in a box together so you're ready to grab and fill!’

CHRISTMAS CLOTHES

‘Get everything washed and sorted in advance! Plan your outfits for the week ahead. Hang outfits together with accessories like tights and jewellery. Nothing worse than the last-minute dash on Christmas Eve!’ Kim said.

FUTURE YOU

Kim says, ‘Think about all those pain points around Christmas, the moments you feel the most stress or overwhelm? Try to break them down and ask yourself what would make it easier, see what you can do days or even weeks in advance to help yourself!’

Louise Thompson is celebrating her son today. 

The former Made in Chelsea star has penned a sweet message for her son Leo as he turns two years old. 

Louise shares Leo with her partner Ryan Libbey and has described the tot as ‘the coolest person she knows’ in a moving tribute to him. 

Unveiling the tribute to her 1.4M Instagram followers, Louise has posted a collection of adorable photos of Leo alongside their dogs. 

The former reality TV star captioned the post, “You are 1 in a million. Well you’re actually 1 in eight billion. Happy birthday stinky”.

“I look at you and I honestly think s*** your cool. You’re the coolest person I know. You aren’t trying to be ANYTHING other than yourself. And that is the best thing about children. I guess it’s my job as an adult (and your mother) not to tarnish that blissful innocence”.

Louise closed off by adding, “You are without a doubt my proudest project to date. And you will always be my BB, aka, blonde bombshell. I can’t claim the name but I love it”.

Thompson also shared the post to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “An ode to you stinky. Please never change. I know it’s a hard ask given that you’re only 2 and have a heck of a lot of growing up to do. I’d like you to stay small and cute and mine forever plz”.

Yesterday, Louise opened up about how she was feeling as she prepared for her baby boy’s second birthday following her traumatic labour. 

After giving birth to Leo in 2021, Louise had to stay in intensive care and was diagnosed with PTSD as well as other health issues. 

Explaining how she was doing now, the mum-of-one explained, “Tomorrow is Leo’s birthday.  2 years since everything. WOW”.

“The million dollar question. How am I feeling? Happy. As you can see i’m looking really very happy here. It’s taken 2 awfully long years to get to this place, but I feel good”.

“I was in labour 2 years ago. I'm not feeling triggered despite the date”, she added.

Sharing the exciting news that she is now an author on social media, Janette revealed her book is called Tiny Dancer, Big World. 

She took to Instagram to share a snap of herself to her 597K followers and revealed, “I cannot believe I’m actually announcing this but….I HAVE A BOOK COMING SOON!!!”.

“The last couple of years I have been doing a lot of work on myself, and I have also received a certification in well-being. Turning 40 today, I have never felt more aware of who I am, or felt better about how to deal with all of life ups and downs; all while still learning and growing daily”.

Janette then admitted, “I wanted to share with everyone a book that feels like a best friend or a big sister; sharing everything I’ve learnt so far for readers to apply to their own lives, while at the same time sharing snippets of my own life’s journey”.

Amy Dowden has received another setback with her health, just one week after finishing chemotherapy treatment.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer was diagnosed with breast cancer in May, and has since been receiving treatment for several months.

Despite hoping that the end of her cancer journey is near, Amy has now issued a devastating update and confirmed that she has been dealt another blow with her health.

“Not the week I was hoping for since finishing chemo. Port out but unfortunately gained a boot for a fractured foot,” Amy explained.

The Strictly star went on to confess that this has had upsetting consequences for her hopes to return to the dance floor before the end of this year.

However, Amy ended her caption on a positive note by penning: “2023 is certainly not my year, roll on 2024 I say!”

“Ohhhhnnoooooo, rest well darling, we are here waiting for you, when you are ready,” added dancer Nancy Xu.

Last Thursday, Amy completed her biggest cancer milestone by finishing eight rounds of chemotherapy treatment.

“Although my journey isn’t over yet, this day of ringing the chemo bell felt like an endless distance away and at points I thought I’d never make it to. I’m so proud of myself,” she wrote at the time.

Dianne Buswell has received support from her fellow Strictly Come Dancing stars, after revealing that her father has cancer.

Last month, the Australian professional dancer announced that her dad Mark was unwell and had been admitted to hospital, but she did not disclose his illness.

Dianne, who is currently partnered with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier for this year’s Strictly series, has now confirmed that her father has started chemotherapy for cancer.

Although Dianne has yet to detail Mark’s specific diagnosis, the 34-year-old took to Instagram earlier today to share an update on her father’s health. 

The dancing star decided to post a photo that she had received from her dad, showcasing him waving from a hospital bed in Australia.

“I’m so proud of you dad, first round of chemotherapy today!” Dianne confirmed at the beginning of her caption. 

“I wish I could be there to hold your hand and support you in person but I do know that I’m making you so proud over here in my concert every week,” she continued, hinting at the fact that Mark regularly refers to her performances on Strictly as ‘concerts’.

Dianne then went on to tease: “The Australian nurses and drs are now very aware of Strictly Come Dancing as my dad won’t stop talking about it.”

Dianne, who is in a relationship with her former Strictly partner Joe Sugg, finished her sweet tribute by writing: “You can do this daddy xxx”.

Many of Dianne’s fellow Strictly pro dancers have since taken to the comments section of her post to share their own well-wishes.

“You can do this Mark!!!” penned Katya Jones.

“Sending love and Strength to papa,” penned Carlos Gu.

A man has passed away following a single car collision in Co. Wexford this morning. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of the fatal road traffic incident in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford on Thursday November 16, 2023 to come forward. 

Gardaí and Emergency Services were alerted following a collision at Duffry Gate, Enniscorthy shortly before 7am.

The driver of the car involved, a man in his 60’s, was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. 

His body will be removed to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be conducted. Nobody else was injured during the incident. 

The scene is preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local traffic diversions are in place.

Gardaí in Enniscorthy are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident to contact them.

Anyone in the vicinity of Duffry Gate, Enniscorthy this morning between 6.30am and 7am is asked to come forward. Those with camera footage, including motorists with dash cams, within this timeframe are asked to share it with Gardaí who are investigating this case.

Ryan Tubridy has finally announced his new career move!

The former presenter of RTÉ’s The Late Late Show has confirmed that he will be moving to London in early 2024 to host a new show with Virgin Radio.

From January 4, Ryan will present a mid-morning show on the station from 10am to 1pm every weekday.

As part of the deal, the 50-year-old will also be broadcasting live from London simultaneously on Dublin station Q102.

Furthermore, each weekend, Ryan will be hosting a dedicated Irish weekend show across Wireless Ireland stations on Q102, Cork's 96FM, Live 95 in Limerick and LMFM.

His announcement comes several months after he left RTÉ. Ryan has been off-air since June 22, after a scandal was uncovered surrounding the mis-stating of his annual salary.

When asked by host Chris Evans how his new career move came about, Ryan replied jokingly: “I don’t know.”

“This is quite surreal. I’m desperately excited, I’m starting a new job in a new city in a wonderful station in a few weeks time,” he detailed.

In an official statement to Virgin Radio, the broadcaster went on to note: “I love radio and what a joy to be following the legendary Chris Evans every morning. It's been a pleasure getting to know my new friends at Virgin Radio, all of whom have been warm, engaging and very entertaining."

It is believed that Ryan will make his permanent move to London in the next few weeks, before he begins his new role at Virgin Radio.

Lisa Kudrow has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late co-star Matthew Perry, leaving fans moved.

Matthew, known for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, was sadly found dead at his home in Los Angeles on October 28, at the age of 54.

Lisa posted a photo to her 10.1M Instagram followers of a Polaroid picture of her and Perry standing together as they smile at the camera.

She captioned the post, “Shot the pilot, Friends Like Us, got picked up then immediately, we were at the NBC Upfronts. Then…You suggested we play poker AND made it so much fun while we initially bonded. Thank you for that”.

“Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY”.

The 60-year-old continued, “Thank you for showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant”.

“Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for all I learned about GRACE and LOVE through knowing you”.

Kudrow closed off her message by saying “Thank you for the time I got to have with you, Matthew”.

Kylie Jenner has finally revealed where she stands with Jordyn Woods!

The pair’s friendship came to a dramatic end back in 2019, when Jordyn was spotted kissing Kylie's sister Khloé's then-boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson.

Following the cheating scandal, Kylie cut off all contact with Jordyn. However, in recent months, the two women have been seen out in public together again.

Four years on from their feud, Kylie has finally detailed how she feels about Jordyn now.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Tristan arrived at Kylie’s house to make a long-awaited apology.

“We’ve always had such a dope relationship, and I feel like everyone got affected differently, but I think you got affected the most by the situation with losing a sister [in Jordyn],” the 32-year-old stated to Kylie.

“I know how much she meant to your life, and you guys were two peas in a pod, so the fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn’t right,” he admitted, adding: “It’s 100% on me, but I want to say I’m sorry, and I feel bad about it.”

In her reply to Tristan’s apology, Kylie went on to note how her relationship with Jordyn has changed since the cheating scandal.

“I appreciate that. I think I was so codependent with Jordyn that I could have never imagined my life without her,” Kylie admitted. 

“We would have probably still been living together. And I think she needed to grow without me, and I needed to grow without her, but you know, Jordyn and I are cool. We still talk and catch up, we’re good,” the 26-year-old confirmed.

Kylie later went on to praise her older sister, Khloé. While Tristan and Khloé are no longer together due to several cheating incidents, the couple continue to co-parent five-year-old daughter True and one-year-old son Tatum.

“I just want the best for Khloé. She’s just the most magical person on the planet, as I’m sure you know, and she just deserves the absolute best,” mum-of-two Kylie concluded.
