Melanie Murphy is now a mum-of-two!

The Irish author and YouTube star has just announced that she has given birth to her second child with her husband, Thomas O’Rourke. The pair have welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world.

Melanie shared the exciting news on her Instagram stories earlier today, with a brief update for her followers from her hospital room.

"Best. Day. Ever", the mum-of-two wrote in her caption. "Going to take a few days offline but wanted to let you all know that we're doing really well & it went unbelievably smoothly this time! So healing," Melanie gushed.

"Thank you SO much for all of the messages of well wishes and love! Xxxx", she added. 

In June of this year, Melanie announced that she and Thomas were expecting another baby. “My Christmas gift arrived very early this year”, the Glass Houses author penned sweetly in her caption, alongside a photo of her cradling her growing baby bump.

Throughout her second pregnancy, Melanie was incredibly candid with her 118K Instagram followers about her experiences with prenatal depression. “I genuinely thought that because my first went relatively smoothly, that any and all pregnancies for me would be similar,” the 33-year-old wrote in September. “LOL how naive and cocky I was!”

Melanie and Thomas have been together since 2017, after having missed opportunities to date since they were teenagers. In March 2020, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony, after Covid restrictions forced them to postpone their huge wedding celebrations. 

Just a few days later, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child. In October 2020, they became parents to a baby boy, choosing not to share his name or face online. Two years later, in March of this year, Melanie and Thomas finally got to re-do their special wedding day, in the company of their loved ones and the new addition of their son.

Kelly Osbourne is now a mum!

It has been confirmed that Kelly and her partner Sid have welcomed the birth of their first child. The 38-year-old gave birth to an adorable baby boy, after reportedly welcoming him into the world in November of last year.

The news of Kelly's first child was excitedly revealed yesterday by her mother, former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne. Appearing on TalkTV yesterday, the 70-year-old couldn't help but gush over the latest addition to the Osbourne family. She also confirmed that Kelly had decided to name her son Sydney, in honour of Sid.

When asked if Sharon has been getting involved in babysitting duties, the grandmother responded enthusiastically. "They're doing just so great. So great," Sharon beamed. "She won't let a picture go out of him and I'm so proud of her," she added, referring to Kelly's preference for privacy.

Kelly kept large parts of her pregnancy journey private. However, the singer and reality star still decided to share a life update with her fans. 

After taking a two-month-long break, Kelly returned to social media in May of last year to announce her pregnancy. She posted two photos, both of which show her staring lovingly at her sonogram snaps. 

“I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma,” Kelly wrote at the time. “To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!” she exclaimed, followed by a pregnant emoji. 

Kelly and Sid met in 1999 when his band Slipknot performed at Ozzfest, the music festival founded by Kelly’s parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. They remained friends for over two decades, but they only made their romantic relationship public in January 2022.

Like her pregnancy, Kelly and Sid keep their relationship fairly private. However, they do share snippets of their love for each other with the world. On Valentine’s Day last year, Kelly took to Instagram to post a photo of the couple sharing a kiss.

“After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe where we have ended up!” Kelly gushed in the caption. 

“You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson”, she wrote. 

Big congratulations to Kelly and Sid on becoming parents! We wish them well as they begin this exciting new chapter of their lives.

Former Victorious star Daniella Monet tied the knot to her longterm partner Andrew Gardner just after Christmas and had now shared a video collage from the special day. 

Daniella shared the moving video to her 4.3M Instagram followers alongside a praying hands emoji. 

The clips show the happy couple signing their marriage licence, sharing a kiss, and exchanging rings after their son, Gio, carried out the important task of handing the rings to his parents.

Many fans headed to the comments to congratulate the 33-year-old, with one saying, “Yeah you did it! I am so ecstatic for the both of you. God Bless!”

“Ugh, absolutely beautiful… i love y’all”, wrote a second fan. A third added, “Congratulations I’m happy for you both”.

Monet also commented under the post to say, “Idk how many times I’ve watched this, but it’s still not enough. So grateful. So lucky”.

Earlier today, Daniella spoke on her Instagram Stories to update her fans on how she feels now that she is a married woman. “I never saw this day coming”, she started off.

“We’ve been together almost 12 years and it just felt right and I don’t know how else to explain it”.

Daniella added, “It feels good, it’s still a little weird… I can’t even explain it. It’s just surreal and I’m really happy”.

The Nickelodeon star previously shared some snaps from the big day that show the couple kissing in an elevator, laughing together, and holding up their wedding rings. 

The posts are captioned, “12.29.22”, to show her followers the date they got married on. 

Daniella and Andrew had been dating for six years when Gardner decided to pop the big question in 2017. The pair went on to welcome their son, Gio James, into the world in 2019 and had their daughter, Ivry Monet in 2021.

Marvel actor Jeremy Renner has shared a health update and thanked his fans for support after he was injured at home on New Year’s Day. 

Jeremy was airlifted to hospital after sustaining injuries while ploughing snow at his home in Nevada. 

His rep had told People that he had experienced a “weather-related accident while ploughing snow”.

Now, the Hawkeye star has shared a photo of himself looking bruised from a hospital bed to his 18.7M Instagram followers. 

He wrote a message to his fans that reads, “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all”.

Many famous faces, and fans alike, rushed to the comments to send more well wishes to the 51-year-old. 

Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt wrote, “Continued prayers your way brutha”, while Captain America star Chris Evans penned, “Tough as nails. Love you buddy”.

“Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!”, added Thor actor Chris Hemsworth. 

The most recent statement made by Jeremy’s rep explained his injuries and revealed he had undergone surgery because of his injuries. 

They said, “We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023”.

“He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition”.

“Jeremy's family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families”.

They closed off by adding, “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans”.

Stacey Solomon is preparing to become a mum-of-five!

Fans of the Tap to Tidy author were delighted when Stacey and her husband, Joe Swash, revealed last week that they are expecting their third child together.

Stacey’s 5.5M Instagram followers were even more surprised to find out that she is eight months along, and that her due date is at the end of this month.

Since sharing her exciting news, the 33-year-old has been sharing lots of wonderful details that she had been keeping to herself throughout her pregnancy.

Earlier today, Stacey and Joe decided to reveal the most recent sonogram of their newest little one.

“Yesterday, we got to go and see baby for our scan, and the sonographer lady was so incredible,” the expectant mum gushed in a short video posted to her Instagram stories.

“She got the most amazing picture of its mouth and nose. Joe thinks it has got his mouth, and I think it has got my mouth,” Stacey teased further, before treating her followers to a glimpse of her fifth child.

“That beautiful face… we can’t wait to see you baby!”, the Loose Women panelist gushed in her caption before adding, “This little one looks so different from all of my other scans”.

Over the Christmas holidays, Stacey and Joe were overwhelmed with love and congratulations as they announced the imminent arrival of their third child together. Stacey delivered her news by showcasing the moment she surprised Joe with her positive pregnancy test. 

“A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for,” Stacey beamed in her caption at the time.

The couple have since gone on to explain that they discovered their pregnancy much later than usual, as Stacey had had irregular periods and was experiencing an abundance of stress leading up to the pair’s stunning wedding in July of last year.

Stacey and Joe already share two children together – three-year-old son Rex and one-year-old daughter Rose. Stacey also has two elder sons, 14-year-old Zachary and 10-year-old Leighton, from previous relationships.

Jacqueline Jossa has finally addressed the rumours surrounding her possible permanent return to EastEnders.

The 30-year-old actress, who is best known for playing the role of Lauren Branning in the BBC soap, briefly made an appearance last month to attend the funeral of her on-screen step-grandmother, Dot Branning. The episode reflected the real death of actress June Brown, who sadly passed away in April of last year at the age of 95.

As fans were delighted to see Jacqueline’s return on-screen, and with her own positive comments about being asked to take part in the episode, rumours began to circulate that Lauren Branning may be returning to Albert Square on a more permanent basis soon.

However, taking to her Instagram stories earlier today, mum-of-two Jacqueline decided to clear up the rumours for her 3.5M followers.

“Just been inundated with people being lovely, but thinking I’m coming back to eastenders full time, I don’t know if something has been taken out of an interview or been completely made up but either way I’m just shutting down any rumours or stories”, she penned.

“I am not on the way back to the square full time, it’s not in talks, I 100% have not confirmed a return”, Jacqueline admitted.

However, the actress went on to write that in the future, she would not necessarily decline an offer to return to EastEnders. “That’s also not me saying I would never go back, when and if the time is right, I would love to”, Jacqueline explained.

Jacqueline finished her post by praising the soap that launched her career. “Like I have said many times and continue to say, eastenders is the best job ever and was an honour for the 8 years,” she gushed before adding, “As of right now, I am not going back”.

Jacqueline first arrived on our screens as part of the Branning family in 2010. She officially decided to bow out of the show at the beginning of 2018, wishing to spend more time with her husband Dan and their two daughters – Ella (7) and Mia (4).

Everyone’s favourite cleaning expert Mrs Hinch has announced that she has written a book based on her family’s life since moving to Hinch Farm. 

Mrs Hinch, also known as Sophie Hinchliffe, announced that her children’s book, Welcome to Hinch Farm: The Adventures of Ron, Len and Hen, will be released on February 2, 2023. 

Sophie shared the wonderful news to her 4.6M Instagram followers by posting a sweet video of her sons, three-year-old Ronnie and one-year-old Lennie, opening up a present which turned out to be their mum’s new book. 

The 32-year-old captioned the post, “The Adventures of Ron, Len and Hen  have begun. This is by far the most sentimental and heart warming project I have ever EVER had the joy of working on. My own Childrens book”.

“My heart is literally bursting with pride. A story I plan to hand down for many generations to come and one I know so many families will be able to relate to. A book for us to read to our children and hopefully a book for our children to read to theirs”.

She continued, “Our journey, which you have all been along with us for, for many years. A journey which my family and I have really lived is now a storybook for us to pass down. I am so so excited for this”.

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers Ola and James Jordan have opened up about their plans to add a new addition to their family. 

The pair are already mum and dad to two-year-old Ella, whom they welcomed via IVF in 2020, and have shared whether they have thought about growing their family.

James explained, “Part of the driving force behind us doing this was because we went to the IVF clinic and they said it’d be a lot easier to conceive if we’re healthier”.

“We were told we were nearing the obese side and it was the wake-up call we needed”, the 44-year-old added.

“But I didn’t want to get pregnant feeling the way I did”, Ola went on to say after she previously revealed she was ‘shocked’ by how much her and James’ bodies had changed since leaving Strictly and having their daughter.

Sharing a photo of themselves by the pool, the 40-year-old admitted, “Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG… it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’????”.

The couple have since lost over five stone between them in hopes of increasing their chances of welcoming another bundle of joy into their lives.

It has been revealed that some Leaving Cert students have written to the Department of Education to plead for leniency ahead of their exams. 

For the past few years, sixth year students undertaking the Leaving Cert examinations have been granted adjustments to the grading system, due to the impact that the Covid pandemic had on their education.

When the pandemic began in March 2020, it was subsequently decided that Leaving Cert students from that year would not need to partake in written examinations, and would instead have their existing work graded by their own teachers and later reviewed by the Department of Education.

Then, in 2021, sixth year students were allowed to have their results brought in line with the previous year’s results, in an attempt to avoid a dramatic drop after grade inflation. The Minister for Education, Norma Foley, later promised that the class of 2022 would receive grades similar to the previous two years of results.

These changes from the past three years have meant that the standard of Leaving Cert grades have reached an all-time high, which is something that the students of 2023 are concerned about. 

This year’s Leaving Cert cohort have had several years of their education disrupted by lockdowns and constant changes to online learning. The students have had their second, third and fifth years at secondary school impacted as a result of the pandemic. 

Although Minister Foley has promised that the class of 2023 will receive fair treatment and that there will be “no cliff edge for the students in terms of grade inflation”, pupils are still concerned about what grading system awaits them in the summer months.

In correspondences obtained by the PA news agency that were written in September, one sixth year student pleaded with the Department of Education and insisted that “it is only fair we get similar adjustments to last year’s 2021/2022 Leaving Certificate students”.

“I myself missed a lot of school in my fifth year because of Covid-related issues, missing out on a lot of education that I would have got in a normal year”, wrote another pupil.

A third student called for the system to be changed completely, arguing that there is “no reason to put students under this immense pressure” and adding that “students are forced to do one exam that decides [their] future and are forced to meet certain standards.”

Leaving Cert students will have to wait until the latter summer months to find out if their pleas have been answered.

She starts off, “You are my love and my light, my peace and my thrill. Thank you for holding my hand when we sleep. Thank you for tying my shoelaces when you notice they are undone. Thank you for making me laugh so hard I have to leave the room”.

The 40-year-old added, “Thank you for showing me what love is and for making this the best birthday ever”.

The pair had been rumoured to be dating for some time before they went ‘Instagram official’ in May 2022 by posting a collection of pictures of them sharing a pint of Guinness while on a trip in Ireland.

Blake Lively has shared her funniest ‘bumpdate’ yet!

The former Gossip Girl star is currently expecting her fourth child with her husband, The Proposal actor Ryan Reynolds.

The couple tend to keep their family life quite private, meaning that fans of the pair rarely get to see Blake’s growing baby bump. However, last night, the 35-year-old decided to treat her 37.1M Instagram followers to a glimpse of her blossoming bump.

Blake initially announced that she was expecting her fourth child in September of last year, when she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet of the 10th annual Forbes Power Women's Summit in New York. 

On stage at the event, the expectant mum teased her incoming little one by saying, “I just like to create – whether that's baking or storytelling or businesses or humans”, which got a huge laugh in the room!

Blake and her husband Ryan, whom she married in 2012, are already parents to three daughters. The couple welcomed their first child, James, in December 2014, two years after they tied the knot.

Blake subsequently gave birth to the pair’s second child, a baby girl named Inez, in September 2016. Then, in October 2019, Blake and Ryan welcomed their youngest daughter, Betty, into the world. 

The couple have yet to reveal the gender or due date of their fourth child. We are so excited for Blake to become a mum-of-four!

Singer Daniel O’Donnell and his wife Majella have celebrated 20 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows. 

The couple had a private ceremony at their home in West Donegal, surrounded by close family members. 

My Donegal Shore singer, Daniel, shared details from their private vow renewal ceremony on his Facebook page and wrote a sweet message to mark the occasion.

The 61-year-old penned, “After a wonderful 20 years of marriage, Majella and I renewed our vows with a small family gathering tonight at our home in Donegal”.

Posting some photos from the day, Daniel looked dapper as he wore a smart grey three-piece suit with navy detailing, while Majella looks gorgeous in a knee-length long-sleeved white dress. 

The happy couple, who tied the knot in on November 4, 2002, were also joined by their family in another lovely snap.

Many fans of the country singer’s fans rushed to the comments to congratulate him and Majella on reaching this huge milestone in their marriage.

Daniel and Majella first met while in Tenerife, when O'Donnell visited Majella’s parents’ bar back in 1999.

Majella is mum to two children- Siobhan and Michael, whom Daniel is step-dad to. They also have three grandchildren- Olivia, Archie and Luke.
