Billie Faiers has revealed the story behind baby Margot’s name!

The former star of The Only Way Is Essex gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, on December 2.

A few days after her birth, Billie and her husband Greg Shepherd then revealed that they had decided to name their baby girl Margot. 

Now, the 32-year-old mum has finally shared the decision behind her daughter’s adorable name!

Speaking to OK!, the mum-of-three confirmed that it was actually one of her children who chose the name Margot.

“When I was pregnant, Nelly was the one who suggested it,” Billie revealed. "She said, ‘Mummy, if we have a girl, shall we call her Margot?’ And then it just stuck.” 

The TOWIE star also elaborated that baby Margot’s name has deep connections rooted in her family. “My great-nan was called Margot and Suzanne is her middle name after my mum,” Billie beamed.

Billie also recalled the moment that eight-year-old Nelly and five-year-old Arthur got to meet their younger sibling for the very first time. The duo arrived at the hospital around an hour after Margot was welcomed into the world.

“I wanted to tell them she was a girl,” Billie exclaimed, remembering the occasion. “They came in and met her and their reactions were just priceless. They couldn’t believe it. They were so cute and happy,” she gushed.

Candidly, Billie admits that the family’s newborn journey has been far from smooth. “With Arthur being the youngest, we always kind of expected [jealousy] a little bit. He’s being a bit smothering and it’s all for my attention,” she explained.

“I’ll be pottering around and he’ll be over her and breathing on her and looking at me out of the corner of his eye,” she added.

However, Nelly and Arthur are still trying to fulfill their duties as helpful older siblings. “Arthur, bless him, he’s really good at helping out,” Billie praised. “Whereas Nelly can be a bit like, ‘Oh, am I a slave now?’ But then Nelly’s really good with Margot and can hold her and walk about with her now,” she detailed.

We’re happy to hear that the family-of-five have been adjusting well!

Vicky Pattison has shared an update on her fertility journey.

The former Geordie Shore star revealed last year that she was starting the process of freezing her eggs, but has now posted an unfortunate update. 

Sharing a photo of herself sitting on a doctor’s examination table to her 5.2M Instagram followers, Vicky explained that a cyst was found on one of her ovaries, meaning she has to put a halt on her fertility treatment.

The 35-year-old said, “Unfortunately yesterday didn't go as planned and I have another cyst on one of my ovaries”.

“As the injections I would have to administer as part of my fertility treatment are predominantly oestrogen- rather than stimulating the ovary follicles which is what we want to happen- it would end up instead predominantly feeding the cyst and treatment would be wasted”.

She continued, “I'm naturally a little bit disappointed and spent most of yesterday crying and just feeling super drained- it was as if someone had let all the air out of a balloon. But I suppose that was just all the angst and nervous energy leaving my body and making me feel like a human raisin”.

“This is pretty common and as I am beginning to learn these journeys aren't often linear and there may be plenty more ups and downs for me as I go. So I need to brace myself for that and be thankful that I'm in a position to have options- which I truly am. And I want more women to know that it isn't easy for lots of us.. and you're not alone. No matter how it may feel”.

Pattison closed off by revealing she would be returning to work for now but will be trying the fertility treatment again in the future. “I've made my peace with this today- I'm going back to work, I'm going to focus on other things and I will try again next month”.

Many of Vicky’s pals rushed to the comments to share their support for the former reality TV star.

Her Geordie Shore co-star Nathan Henry wrote, “Sending lots of love, but very proud of you for sharing your story”.

“Love you beautiful girl and you’re so amazing for sharing your journey and helping so many in doing so”, penned author Roxie Nafousi.

Big Brother’s Kate Lawler added, “You’re helping so many sharing your fertility journey lovely. I’m sorry about y’day, sending love and positive vibes your way”.

Vicky is currently engaged to her fiancé Ercan Ramadan. Ercan got down on one knee when the pair were on holiday in Dubai in February of last year.

Meghan Trainor announced the wonderful news that she and her husband Daryl Sabara were expecting their second child yesterday. 

Now, Meghan has shared the sweet moment she found out she was expecting again to her 16.6M TikTok followers. 

In the cute video where Trainor seems overwhelmed with happiness, she looks at her pregnancy test and excitedly says, “Oh my God, that sh*t lit up so fast”. Meghan captioned the lovely memory, "The moment I found out I was pregnant with baby number 2".

Turning Page, covered by Sydney Rose, plays in the background of the short clip and as Meghan is close to tears of joy, she shows the positive pregnancy test to the camera.

The touching clip, which already has 8.1M views in the few short hours it has been online, had many famous faces and fans of the singer comment on it to congratulate Meghan on her baby news. 

Halloweentown star Kimberly J Brown wrote, “Congratulations!!”, while make-up artist Manny Mua penned, “CONGRATS MY LOVE”.

“Congrats cutiessss”, said singer Alessia Cara. Singer-songwriter Abigail Barlow added, “Congratulations beautiful!!!!”.

The Made You Look singer was speaking on the Today Show about her new book, Dear Future Mama, via video call when she shared the exciting news exclaiming, “We did it!”.

The 29-year-old shared the video to her 16.1M Instagram followers and wrote, “RILEY’S GONNA BE A BIG BROTHER”.

Meghan then took to Instagram to post a photo of herself holding up her baby scans. She captioned the post, “BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER”.

The All About That Bass singer and her husband Daryl, who is known for starring in Spy Kids, tied the knot in December 2018. The pair went on to welcome their first child into the world- a son named Riley, in February 2021.

The village of Creeslough has been honouring the lives it lost almost four months ago.

On the afternoon of Friday, October 7 last year, 10 people were killed when an explosion occurred at the village’s petrol station. The youngest victim of the incident was a five-year-old girl, who lost her life alongside her father.

Last night, those affected by the explosion came together to be united by music. A concert called ‘Creeslough Together’ was held at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny. Tickets for the concert went on sale just before the Christmas period, and sold out within a matter of hours. 

The concert was initially drawn up by former Westlife star Brian McFadden, whose father is from Creeslough. Many stars from the Irish music industry performed at the event, including the likes of Brian Kennedy, Keith Duffy and Lisa McHugh. 

Clannad performer Moya Brennan, who co-hosted the event, told the audience that those affected by the explosion would never have to grieve on their own. “We share the burden with them and they know that and that really does help people that you are not on your own. When you haven’t got words, music does a lot,” she shared.

During his performance, singer Brian Kennedy also paid tribute to the first responders and members of the public who worked tirelessly at the scene to help those trapped in the rubble. “This is our way of saying thank you to the first responders in Creeslough for all they had to face and go through on that night,” he noted.

The cause of the Creeslough explosion has yet to be determined. However, Garda Commissioner Drew Harris has promised those affected by the tragedy that the investigation is ongoing.

“Ultimately we would hope to get to some final explanation as to what happened and that’s what we are working towards and why we have put so much time and effort into the examination of the scene and gathering witness statements,” he explained.

Molly-Mae is feeling the love!

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the birth of their darling daughter yesterday, sending a shockwave of joy and excitement through Love Island fans. 

Now, Molly has shared an update on motherhood alongside gorgeous snaps of her and Tommy with their little one. The 23-year-old also shared her appreciation for all of the support she has received from fans since revealing her daughter was born.

Posting a black and white video to her 7M Instagram followers on her Stories of Fury giving their little girl nose kisses, Molly wrote, “Overwhelmed with love. Thank you for your beautiful messages and comments”.

“We appreciate it so much”, she added. 

The former reality TV star then shared a snap of her and Tommy hugging while she gives him a peck on the cheek.

Hague revealed the cute picture was taken the night before their baby girl made her entrance into the world. She penned, “The night before life changed forever”.

Finally, the new mum posted a photo of her daughter taken just hours after she was born. Hague is in bed, cradling her daughter in her arms while she smiles down at her in the picture. She explained, “Just a couple of hours old. My heart just explodes every time I look at her… the love is unbelievable”.

When announcing the wonderful news that she had given birth to her little one, Molly revealed she was born on January 23.

The Love Island runner-up wrote, “One week old today. I can't believe we get to keep you forever. Becoming your mum Has been the best thing to ever happen to me”.

“It doesn't seem possible but my love for you grows with each passing moment. There is no feeling like holding you in my arms little one, my heart literally explodes”.

Molly-Mae sweetly added, “Thank you for entering this world safely for us and blessing us with the gift of being your parents. We promise to love and care for you unconditionally forever”.

James Bye has had an eventful start to 2023!

The EastEnders star renewed his wedding vows at the beginning of January with his wife of 11 years, Victoria. The happy couple had originally planned to have their vow renewal ceremony in April 2022 to celebrate 10 years of marriage, but following Covid travel restrictions, they decided to postpone.

James, who is best known for playing Martin Fowler in the BBC soap, flew to the Caribbean with Victoria and their three sons – nine-year-old Edward, six-year-old Louis and three-year-old Hugo. The couple are also expecting their fourth child this year.

The family-of-five were then joined at a luxury resort by 35 of their dearest loved ones, including James’ EastEnders co-star Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater.

However, despite the idyllic location, the couple’s plans for their vow renewal certainly did not go off without a few hitches! Just a few days before the ceremony, James chipped a tooth on a waterslide. Then, the couple’s son Hugo fell ill with a tummy bug.

On top of all of this, on the morning of the ceremony itself, Victoria and James were greeted with monsoon rainfall, despite being blessed with beautiful hot weather beforehand. Luckily for the couple and their guests, the stormy weather eventually disappeared, just in time for Victoria to walk down the aisle with the couple’s eldest son, Edward.

Speaking to OK! about the big day, Victoria detailed how EastEnders’ actress Lacey expressed worries that her daughter Dusty wouldn’t be able to fulfill her duties as flower girl. “Lacey was worried Dusty wouldn’t walk down the aisle and that she’d run straight up to her mum. Lacey was holding back like, ‘What shall I do?’”, Victoria explained.

“So Lacey took to her seat and Dusty was as good as gold – she sprinkled her petals on the floor and everyone gave them a round of applause and then they ran to their mums,” she recalled fondly.

Overall, the couple didn’t seem to mind that their vow renewal plans didn’t run smoothly. “It was so good to get family and friends together. I loved every second of it,” James gushed.

“It was amazing, we had an incredible time,” Victoria added.

Since announcing the birth of their daughter via surrogate in January 2022, the couple have been very private with their first-born and haven’t shared photos of her face on social media- instead using emojis to cover her.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are reportedly parents-of-three!

The Maroon 5 band member and former Victoria’s Secret model have welcomed their third child into the world according to many reports. 

While the couple have not confirmed the news themselves, one source told People that the couple welcomed the birth of their third child, while another shared an insight into how the family is doing after their bundle of joy arrived. 

The insider explained, “[Adam and Behati] were very focused on special family time before the new baby arrived”.

“After the drama in the fall, Adam has really tried to just focus on his family. He was very embarrassed and remorseful”.

They continued, “She and Adam are doing great. They are excited about the new baby”, before adding that the couple’s daughters were excited for their new sibling to be born. “The girls are great with the baby”.

The pair revealed they were expecting their third child together in September of last year and Prinsloo has been sharing glimpses of pregnancy life by posting snaps of her blossoming baby bump to her 8.7M Instagram followers.

It's been a long and dry January for a lot of us this year. Between lockdowns, fluctuating restrictions and the general January blues, we're ready to get out and have a good time again now that spring is around the corner.

And nothing says fun like cocktails! This delicious lemon vodka cocktails the fresh and crisp treat that will make you think of spring and brighter times ahead, dining al fresco and meeting up with friends. Super simple to make and absolutely delicious, it's top of our list to try after dry January! 

Glass of fresh cocktail on corner of table

You'll need…

3tbsp fresh lemon juice

30ml simple syrup

Soda water

Ice

20ml Triple sec

45ml vodka

Mint leaves

Sugar

Iced Sliced Lemon on Clear Drinking Glass

Firstly, run a lemon slice around the rim of the glass. Pour some sugar onto a plate and dip the rim into the sugar to coat it.

Place 2-3 cubes of ice in the glass.

Pour vodka, triple sec, simple syrup and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. If you don’t have simple syrup, you can easily make some. To make simple syrup just heat 2 parts sugar to 1 part water over a medium heat in a pan. Once the mixture has thickened like a syrup and cooled down, it’s ready to go!

Add in ice cubes and shake well until fully combined. Strain the mixture into the glass over the ice cubes.

Garnish with a slice of lemon and a couple of mint leaves and serve!

The couple have yet to reveal the special name that they have decided for their baby girl, but have previously confirmed that they have had one chosen for quite some time.
