Louise Thompson has admitted to ‘getting emotional’ as she brought her son to the hairdressers for a new look.
The former Made in Chelsea star shared a video of her 17-month-old son, Leo, as he got a trim which was ‘long overdue’ according to his mum.
The tot looks so cute and calm as he got his hair cut and nibbled on a biscuit. Louise also revealed it was Leo’s first time with a hairdryer and he “handled it like a pro”.
Taking to Instagram, Louise shared the experience of feeling like her baby boy is growing up to her 1.4M followers.
She started off with a joke to say, “When you go to the hairdresser and ask for ‘a little trim’, but you panic they misunderstood the assignment the moment you see that hair hit the floor”.
“Only being silly… Leo loved his outing this morning which included a biscuit and a blow-dry. Oh to live the life of a 17month old and to ACTUALLY REMEMBER IT. It was a long overdue snip and he looks like an incredibly smart little boy. I’m thrilled as a dog with two tails”.
“I actually feel a little bit emotional seeing him all grown up. I hardly recognise him from behind. But I guess it will be good for my ‘stimulus discrimination’ homework in my trauma therapy”, she added.
Many of the 33-year-old’s fans headed to the comments to share how impressed they were with Leo being so quiet as his hair got the chop.
“Bless him he’s so good! He’s growing so much”, wrote one fan, while a second said, “Such a good boy for his mummy & hairdresser”.
“He’s so damn adorable. And so good!! Awww he’d make your heart melt”, added another.
Louise welcomed Leo into the world in November 2021 with her fiancé Ryan Libbey. The former reality TV star unfortunately experienced a traumatic labour and was later diagnosed with anxiety, postnatal depression and PTSD after spending a month in hospital after the birth.

Speaking to Goss, a rep for the actress and ring girl shared the sad news. “Things weren’t the same between Olivia and Maxwell after they left the villa,” the statement said. “Life has been hectic and they both decided it was best to end things.”

However, according to her rep, Olivia is looking forward to the future. “Olivia is happy to focus on herself right now and has a lot of exciting work projects coming up, including a role in the next Fast & Furious movie,” they teased.
In the end, the rep confirmed that the former Islanders parted ways amicably. “It’s sad it didn’t work out but there’s no hard feelings between them,” they added.
The confirmation of the couple’s split comes after they were surrounded by speculation for days. Rumours of their breakup had been rife from the moment they arrived back in the UK from South Africa.

Fans of the Love Island couple grew concerned when, shortly after they returned home from the villa, Maxwell jetted off to Cancun in Mexico without Olivia. However, he reassured his audience that the trip had been booked before his stint on Love Island.
Speaking on Instagram at the time, the 23-year-old said: “Me and Olivia are going great, we’re going great. I’m just on holiday with my friends,” he promised.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with OK!, Olivia was hopeful about her relationship with Maxwell. "I definitely see it going long-term,” she explained.

"I’ve never had a boyfriend before, but I definitely see it going in that direction, for sure. I think I’ve just been way too picky in the past when it comes to guys,” she added.
Olivia and Maxwell were officially coupled up for around 2 weeks on the show. The pair found romance in Casa Amor, but then were subsequently voted off by the public at the dramatic Island Beach Club dumping.
A new report carried out by the World Health Organisation has found that 1 in 6 people worldwide experience infertility.
The new study finds that with around 17.5% of the world’s population being affected by fertility issues, there is an “urgent need to increase access to affordable, high-quality fertility care for those in need”.
The research shows ‘limited variation’ in the prevalence of infertility between regions, but found comparable rates of infertility across high-, middle- and low-income countries, to indicate a “major health challenge globally”.
Lifetime prevalence was 17.8% in high-income countries and 16.5% in low- and middle-income countries, according to the report.
The Director-General at WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated, “The report reveals an important truth: infertility does not discriminate”.
“The sheer proportion of people affected show the need to widen access to fertility care and ensure this issue is no longer sidelined in health research and policy, so that safe, effective, and affordable ways to attain parenthood are available for those who seek it”.
WHO have described the full definition of infertility as, “A disease of the male or female reproductive system, defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse”.
The report finds that infertility treatments such as IVF are, “Underfunded and inaccessible to many due to high costs, social stigma and limited availability”, as in most countries, the treatments are funded out of pocket.
Dr Pascale Allotey, Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research at WHO has said, “Millions of people face catastrophic healthcare costs after seeking treatment for infertility, making this a major equity issue and all too often, a medical poverty trap for those affected”.
“Better policies and public financing can significantly improve access to treatment and protect poorer households from falling into poverty as a result”.

The wonderful news comes after the couple revealed they had welcomed their first child into the world in July of last year.
This morning, Alexandra shared a lovely collection of photos from a pregnancy photoshoot where she and Darren are wearing matching denim and cradling her blossoming baby bump.
The pregnancy announcement comes just over eight months after Alexandra and Darren shared the news of their first child’s arrival.
They are yet to reveal whether they had a baby boy or girl and haven’t shared the tot’s name with the world yet, instead, they refer to them as Grape on social media.
When revealing their little one’s arrival they shared a snap of the newborn’s tiny feet and wrote, “Welcome to the world our little grape. We already love you more than words can say”.
On Mother’s Day of this year, Burke gushed over her baby and shared a sweet tribute to them on Instagram.
The 34-year-old penned, “My first Mother’s Day as your mama… Feeling very blessed. Can’t thank the hubby enough for making me feel so special and loved”.
“My little baby Grape – thank you for making me a better person. For making me the best version of myself and showing up in ways I thought I never could… I am so lucky to be your mum”.
Congratulations again to Alexandra and Darren on this exciting new journey for their family.
The 33-year-old shared a ‘ramble’ collection of videos last night, in which she spoke at length about health issues that have been affecting her family.
“My dad is in hospital at the moment, guys,” Sophie admitted, further revealing that he has “never been blessed with fantastic health.”
Sophie explained that she is remaining hopeful for her father’s health. “Dad is in very, very safe, amazing hands. The nurses, you are incredible.”
“So, I’m hoping that one day this week, he can do what he really enjoys doing again,” she wished, referring to her father’s passion of creating in a workshop. “I just want my Dad home,” she added.
Sophie then went on to explain that another member of her family is currently in hospital. “My Nan is also in hospital, bless her heart. She’s had a fall,” she detailed. “I know for a fact with my Nan, this will affect her quite a lot mentally.”
Sophie continued to get more emotional as she spoke about how events have been affecting her.
“It’s just a worry, isn’t it? Having loved ones in hospital is just not nice. It’s a worry, it’s something that you never want,” she shared.

Finally, Sophie revealed that herself and her husband have been concerned for their eldest son, three-year-old Ron. “Also, Jamie and I have been going through a few different assessments and processes with our Ron at the moment,” she shared, before getting choked up with emotion.
Sophie has mentioned to fans in the past that Ron has an ongoing struggle with invisible speech disorder, for which he has attended speech therapy.
“We are, as parents, navigating through things at the moment,” she said, before concluding that husband Jamie is “my absolute glue, my rock, everything.”
The cause of death for Christine McVie has been revealed.
The Fleetwood Mac singer passed away “following a short illness” on November 30 of last year, at the age of 79.
Now, four months after her death, the cause of Christine’s passing has been shared.
After being obtained and shared by US media sources, it has been confirmed that Christine’s death certificate notes her cause of death as an "ischemic stroke".
This is the most common stroke for a person to have, and occurs when a blood clot blocks the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain.
Alongside her ischemic stroke, "atrial fibrillation" and "large atrial thrombus" were also noted as part of her primary cause of death. Both of these things caused Christine’s heart to beat abnormally fast, and to develop a blood clot.
In regards to a secondary cause of death, the coroner found that the hit singer had "metastatic malignancy of unknown origin", meaning that Christine had a type of cancer spreading across her body at the time of her death.
Christine’s death was announced on social media following her passing. “On behalf of Christine McVie’s family, it is with a heavy heart we are informing you of Christine’s death. She passed away peacefully at hospital this morning, Wednesday, November 30th 2022, following a short illness,” her team wrote at the time.
“She was in the company of her family. We kindly ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this extremely painful time, and we would like everyone to keep Christine in their hearts and remember the life of an incredible human being, and revered musician who was loved universally. RIP Christine McVie,” the statement concluded.
Christine was best known for being a member of the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. She officially joined the group in 1970, and enjoyed success with bandmates – her former husband John McVie, as well as Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham.
“She was the best musician anyone could have in their band and the best friend anyone could have in their life. We were so lucky to have a life with her,” the band wrote following the news of her death.
