We were glued to our screens for the ups and downs of the romance formed between Jordan Davis and Megan McKenna on the third season of MTV's Ex on the Beach.

And we couldn't believe it that the pair actually stayed together for months after the show before calling it quits in December.

And now Megan McKenna has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and according to the Sun, Jordan is less than impressed with the advancements of the Geordie Shore ladies man, Scotty T.

"Jordan has the same behind the scenes team as Scott and told them to make sure he knows how explosive things could get if he goes near Megan," sources revealed.

"He may have had a little word with Scott in person too, but would have passed it off as a joke. In reality, he's deadly serious."

However, it appears that Scotty T plans to do whatever he wants as he openly flirted with the reality star as early as night one.

Meanwhile, if Jordan is all that heartbroken we certainly can't tell as he posted this snap to his Twitter account yesterday.

Either way, this love triangle is certainly going to add some delicious drama in the CBB house.

From being broken up with by a note on a Post-It or having you're best friends boyfriend seeing you naked, we assumed that all the best moments from Sex and the City that we love so much were inspired by the experiences of real women.

But according to Cynthia Nixon who played Miranda Hobbs on the show, the writing team did not including anything in the scripts that had not happened to a woman they actually knew.

"Even though crazy and outlandish things happen in Sex And The City, fantastical things seemingly, they had a rule in the writers room that they couldn't put anything into an episode that hadn't literally happened to someone in the writer's room or someone that they knew first hand," said the actress speaking to IMDb Asks.

"It couldn't be 'my father's brother's sister's shoe-repair guy heard once…' kind of thing – so the physical and sexual things that happened were real tales."

While we can't believe that this policy continued for the movies, it definitely helps to explain why this seminal series resonated with so many women and continues to do so today.

"It was amazingly well written and very complicated in a way and so I think it's the reason it can bare repeated viewing."

"It's very dense and so much happens in every episode. The way the threads of the four different plotlines with the four different women intertwine is very intricate."

Does this mean that romances like Carrie and Big's can happen in real life too?

Gardai have confirmed today that Conor McGregor is under police investigation following a picture he posted to social media yesterday.

The photograph features a masked individual assumed to be Conor inside a white BMW holding what appears to be a rifle with the caption: "Put the fight game in the bag and step away from the vehicle."

The photo has not been removed from the account at the time of writing.

While many news outlets are suggesting the weapon is a replica, Gardai confirmed to the Independent this morning that the current UFC Featherweight champ is under investigation.

"We are investigating the circumstances under which the photo was taken. Gardai from Crumlin are investigating."

The picture was posted to the sportstar's Instagram page in the early hours of this morning and appears to have been taken in Ireland.

The photo also features Conor's BMW i8 car which is reported to cost a cool €150,000.

Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has been all over the papers this week as she does the press circuit ahead with Brooklyn ahead of awards season.

But unfortunately a few high-profile media outlets still refuse to consider her as 'Irish,' despite her Carlow upbringing and Irish passport.

Sky News made that exact faux-pas today, when discussing the BAFTA Best Actress nomination list, on which Saoirse was included.

"If we look at the leading actress category, I think we can take Saoirse Ronan as one of ours," one presenter said, also referencing (actual British person) Dame Maggie Smith.

"She's in Brooklyn, she's nominated."

German-Irish actor Michael Fassbender was another star noted as British later in the report, to really mess things up.

Hmmmm. Needless to say, Twitter went into overdrive after the unfortunate comments:

Barely a month ago, the same problem befell Saoirse, Michael and Colin Farrell as they were all nominated under 'Best British Actor/Actress' categories at the London Critics' Circle Awards.

Anyone need a map? It sounds like it…

We don't know what possessed Britney to get rid of this stunning 3-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom New York City dwelling back in 2004 but it's back on the market for a cool 7.7 million dollars.

The gorgeous, modern city condo features an entertaining area, spectacular views of the city and even a SWING in the front room.

Because, why not?

According to 6sqft.com, the gorgeous apartment spans a meagre FOUR FLOORS of a Greenwich Village building.

The property has been on the market several times but no one snapped up the gorgeous property. And we simply can't figure it out.

The pop princess listed the property three times before the current owners nabbed it for a steal at 4 million. And it seems that the property has remained difficult to offload as the current owners have also been trying to sell it since 2008.

And Brit MUST be happy to have gotten rid of the property just in time for the financial crisis but again we are still trying to figure out who wouldn't want to live here.

In the words of Brit herself though, if you wanna live in a big mansion, you better 'work, bitch.'

Emma Watson is channelling her inner Hermione with the announcement that she is launching a feminist book club on Goodreads.

Emma revealed the plans yesterday when she tweeted to her fans asking for them to come up with a good title for the club.

After some good and many questionable suggestions later, Emma settled on the title Our Shared Shelf

The book club is to include many thought provoking and feminist literature and the first title Emma picked is the biography of activist Gloria Steinem, My Life on the Road.

"As part of my work with UN Women, I have started reading as many books and essays about equality as I can get my hands on. I decided to start a Feminist book club, as I want to share what I'm learning and hear your thoughts too," she wrote on the official page.

"The plan is to select and read a book every month, then discuss the work during the month's last week (to give everyone time to read it!). I will post some questions/quotes to get things started, but I would love for this to grow into an open discussion with and between you all."

"Whenever possible I hope to have the author, or another prominent voice on the subject, join the conversation. If you fancy it, please join up and participate. Everyone is welcome. I would be honoured!"

Well if you are into a good read, this sounds amazing! You can find the page here and discussion has already started.

Liam Neeson has spoken candidly about his relationship with late wife Natasha Richardson and in particular a cherished memory of their wedding day.

Speaking to an American radio station, the 63-year-old Irish actor revealed that his wife had prepared a special treat for him on their wedding day which took place in Northern Ireland.

Having decided that their wedding song would be Crazy Love by Van Morrison, the English actress decided she would learn it.

"Behind my back Natasha had been taking singing lessons to sing it to me," revealed the father-of-two.

"After the ceremony we were all going out to start the night's festivities and she grabbed the microphone and she sang me this."

"She had learned it and I was like 'Wow!'"

Very adorable.

The couple married in 1994 and remained an item until Natasha died from injuries sustained during a ski accident while on vacation with the family in 2009.

Liam only had the strength to open up about the tragedy in an episode of 60 minutes that aired in 2014.

"I went in to her and told her I loved her. Said, 'Sweetie, you're not coming back from this,' he recalled. 'You've banged your head.' "

"It's – I don't know if you can hear me, but that's – this is what's gone down. And we're bringing ya back to New York. All your family and friends will come."

We have been hearing a lot of buzz over the last couple of weeks about the hour long Lip Sync Battle special in which Channing Tatum would be taking on his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

We knew it would be pretty epic, but we definitely were not expecting this.

As the show aired in the states yesterday, we are now free to revel in the madness as Channing emerges on a horse statue before delving into the much loved choreography for Beyonce's hit song Run the World (Girls).

And while watching Tatum lip sync to this track with a face full of contour, a full on wig and a questionably short skirt was entertaining enough, the whole crowd and it seems, the entire Internet, flipped out appropriately when Beyonce took to the stage.

And that appropriate reaction was also captured perfectly by Jenna.

 And the internet agrees.

While the full video has not been released, you can watch the epic moment she arrives out on stage below.

Poor Holly Carpenter became the subject of some negativity last week, and now she's hitting back.

An article published in the Irish Independent on New Year's Day as part of Holly's regular column with the paper soon attracted attention online for all the wrong reasons:

Holly's line about tapas being great for "a bit of a crowd" was definitely the one line that stuck out for many:

Now though, the model has spoken out about the backlash, and says she knows the column wasn't up to her usual standard – but still feels the criticism was wholly unjustified.

"[L]ast week I wasn’t quite as organised as usual – it was New Year’s Eve after all – and I had to do a quick interview over the phone before it went to print, just to add some details," she wrote in a response published by the Independent today.

"In the end I understand why people might have felt that parts of my column just didn’t sound like me.

"However, I found it extremely frustrating and embarrassing getting so much hate over a few words in the social part of my column.

"I think people over-reacted and I can’t understand or relate to anyone who gets a thrill out of typing nasty words about someone else with the aim of upsetting them."

The 24-year-old also explained why she had refused to speak about the issue in the media or online over the last seven days.

"Part of the reason I didn’t partake in any interviews or reply to any mean tweets about this is because I fully understand that you have to take the good with the bad in this industry and I tried my best to just take it on the chin, learn from it and move on.

"A very big ‘thank you’ to everyone who tweeted me. I even made it on to some of my favourite satirical sites which featured what happened and gave me a laugh."

And in case you were wondering, Holly still maintains that tapas ARE "great for a crowd."

The paint was barely dry on the Celebrity Big Brother house last night when contestant Kristina Rihanoff revealed some pretty big news to her fellow housemates.

Strictly Come Dancing alum Kristina opened up to her fellow stars shortly after being chosen as one of the three possible evictees for this week.

"There was something [that] happened in my life before I came into the house over Christmas," she told the housemates.

"And obviously I thought it’s very private news, you know but because we are living as one family now and everybody is sort of supporting one another now.

It happened to be that I found that my boyfriend and I are going to have a little one."

The 36-year-old is believed to be just three months pregnant, so luckily there's no risk of a baby being born live on CBB – though that would make for quite an episode.

Along with Nancy Dell'Olio and Winston MacKenzie, Kristina is up for eviction this evening after being nominated by Stephanie Davis for giving out too much about being kept awake.

Within minutes of Kristina revealing the news she was expecting with her boyfriend – and former Strictly protegée – Ben Cohen, fans turned to Ben's ex-wife Abby to offer support.

Ben and Abby, who have twin daughters together, confirmed their split in September 2014, less than a year after Ben's appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

Just last week, Abby took to Twitter to reflect on "a year I would personally like to put behind me."

**Spoilers ahead, beware!**

At this moment in time, you can probably categorise everyone you know into one of three groups: those who have already finished Making A Murdererthose who are halfway through; and those who haven't watched it yet BUT are just about to start.

So we're sure you'll be delighted with the news that the exploration of Steven Avery's case won't end with just the original ten Netflix episodes.

A TV special offering more "critical details" around Avery's trial and Teresa Halbach's death will air at the end of this month.

Front Page: The Steven Avery Story will be produced by US TV network Investigation Discovery and NBC News's Peacock Productions, and it'll attempt to "to better inform viewers in light of the nearly 300,000 people calling for the release of Avery."

Since Making A Murderer was first launched on TV streaming service Netflix, hundreds of thousands of people have signed their names to two online petitions asking that Avery be granted a presidential pardon by Barack Obama.

Earlier this week, the filmmakers behind the attention-grabbing documentary revealed they'd heard from one of the jurors of Steven's trial, who said they believed he was innocent but felt the had to vote against him for their "personal safety."

Here's hoping for more such revelations in the coming months.
