If you were feeling a bit weird about the whole Liam-and-Cheryl situation, you can probably imagine how Liam's ex-girlfriend Sophia Smith must be taking it.

After being pictured together on a casino date night over the weekend, a source told Heat magazine today that Liam and Cheryl are "practically living together," with Cheryl regularly spending the night at her new man's Surrey home.

Unsurprisingly, Sophia's more than a bit freaked out news of the new romance, especially considering her own two-year relationship with the One Direction singer only ended last November.

Speaking to Now magazine today, Sophia admitted that she was finding it all very difficult to process.

"It's so weird," she said, adding that she'd heard a few rumours but didn't expect things to move so fast.

"I knew about them a little while ago, but who thought it would actually come out? I didn’t."

However the 22-year-old was keen to emphasise that she wasn't letting Liam's new romance get her down, telling the magazine that she was "all good."

Speaking about his split from Sophia shortly after news broke late last year, a "devastated" Liam said he had no choice but to end things for Sophia's sake.

"Being on the tour all this year and being away from her was so hard. We spent so much time apart.

"But in order to do right by somebody sometimes it's better not to do what your heart wants, but to do what's better for them."

Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler is  dating his 28-year-old personal assistant according as they are spotted out at their first public event as a couple.

The 67-year-old was first reported to have been seeing his PA romantically back in 2014 but the pair seem to have become serious as they were snapped out holding hands this week.

Aimee Ann Preston is ten years younger than Steve's eldest daughter Liv while she is one age to his other daughter Chelsea who is 28.

But it seems that the 38-year age gap is not causing any issues for the pair as they looked incredibly happy as they stepped out for a recent event.

While there has been no word from live on how she feels about the romance, we reckon it may be a little awkward.

The pair were snapped together at an Oscars viewing party held by the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Steven has a bit of a reputation for dating women younger than him as he split from Erin Brady in 2013 who was 25 years his junior.

You do you, Steve.

Even though we may all be celebrating International Women's Day this week, a viral video has surfaced which unfortunately reminds us just how sexist many industries in the world are.

In a social experiment done by Casting Call: The Project, young actresses are asked to read out casting calls for female characters, all of which were taken from real casting websites.

And the results are pretty unbelievable.

While some 'requirements' for female roles are so ludicrous you can only laugh at them, some of the words reduced the women in the video to tears.

From requiring women to wear push-up bras, be under a certain age and of a "slender build", it's easy to see why the film industry receives such criticism.

"We are hoping that this fun and cathartic project will contribute to the conversation about the deeply flawed ideas of female characters and work for women in the arts in general," the team behind the project who are looking to redefine female stereotypes in film.

"We hope that it will keep all of us (of every gender) talking, thinking, asking and most importantly, CREATING OUR OWN WORK that will, in turn, bring about the roles we all want to see for female actors."

Dublin 8 is now home to a brand new cookie café, but this is no first-time venture for owners Jenny Synnott and Elaine Cohalan.

The couple have been selling their wares at festivals and farmers' markets for two years now, and this year took the leap to open their own café and bakery on Dublin's Thomas St.

It opened over the weekend, and if you haven't had the chance to check it out yet, we'd strongly suggest pegging it down there soon.

Why? Well, firstly, the cookies.

Freshly baked and in a variety of flavours like classic chocolate chip, sea salted caramel and peanut butter, these are no ordinary biccies.

Secondly, the coffee, made with beans from Irish artisan roasters Coffee Culture:

And finally, the cookie dough, so that you can whip up your own batch at home:

Enough said. We're already sold.

Check out The Dublin Cookie Co now at 29 Thomas St, Dublin 8.

If you find Taylor Swift unbearable at the best of times, then you will likely expire over the comments she wrote as a teen.

However, we can see a lot of ourselves in Tay's early days on social media.

Buzzfeed uncovered what is believed to have been Taylor's MySpace page from back when she was just a young country singer with big hair and big dreams.

The profile has been swiftly (*lol*) deleted, but we still have all the best bits proving that Tay as a teen was just as cringey on social media as the rest of us:

When you had very few options for your profile pic

Tay's first profiler was one of her showing off her 'spelling bee champion' t-shirt.

Cool.

When you could not deal with any pictures your friends uploaded of you

"THAT IS SICK TAKE IT DOWN."

"I want it off NOW.

"but I loove you."

Passive aggressive Taylor is the best.

When it was okay to get deep on the internet

Yes, this was written by the same lyrical genius that wrote Blank Space.

When you could be publicly weird with your friends and did not care

"Well, anyway, listen my queer fellow. I thinketh we shall hangeth out sometime soon."

Before social media was all about being to coolest version of yourself

When affection for your pals could have been misconstrued for actual stalking

Hey pal, if you're looking for me I'm in the white van outside your house…

And finally when you and your BFF's inside jokes just looked downright absurd

Because f*ck sewing machines, am I right?

We’ve been staring longingly at the blank gable-end wall on the corner of George’s St and Dame St since Joe Caslin’s Marriage Equality mural was washed away by rain back in May. And finally, ten months on, the space has been filled again – for a very good reason.

A new mural appeared on the wall above Rick’s Burgers overnight in honour of International Women’s Day and the 1916 Rising.

Created by Irish artist Gearóid Ó’Dea, the 10m high street art installation features three women who each played a pivotal part in the Easter Rising: Countess Markievicz, Margaret Pearse and Grace Gifford-Plunkett.

The piece was drawn in full colour using pencils and watercolours by Gearóid, before being digitally reproduced on a large scale for the purpose of the mural.

In choosing the three subjects, Gearóid says he wanted to reflect all sides of Irish history, the good and the bad.

“I feel that, taken together, each of these women strike a balance. Each played a different kind of role in the Rising. Some are well remembered, others not.”

The image shows the three women woven together by strands of their hair, something which Gearóid considers an important piece of symbolism.

"For me, the texture of the hair suggests a toughness, a gentleness, and something more mysterious. Hair was an important symbol in Celtic mythology, empowering and magical. As a composing element in this piece, it feels right."

Check out the new piece now – before the rain gets to it.

Megan McKenna may be infamous for her usually drunken hysterical outbursts but we are just grateful we have never been on the receiving end of one.

The latest victims to feel the full wrath of the reality star was some late-night workers at a drive-thru McDonalds near London.

The 23-year-old could not cope when the workers did not seem to understand her very specific order.

"'I'm ordering a double cheeseburger extra gherkins no bun and they do not understand what I am saying," the star can be heard saying in a Snapchat video.

"All I want is a f*cking cheeseburger and I'm sitting in traffic. I haven't even put the order through yet. I'm sick of this s*it."

She then goes on to ask: "Is everyone at McDonald's stupid?"

And according to a worker at the branch, her rant was as scary as it sounds.

"We recognised her from Big Brother, she was showing off to her friends in the car and shouting at us," the source told the Sun.

"We had all seen her meltdowns on Big Brother, at one stage we were going to refuse to serve her, but it would have been more hassle than we needed.

"Before she drove off she asked for three packets of ketchup, which we gave her, then as the car was pulling away she tried to throw the sauce back at us but missed."

Fresh off the back of his off-the-grid trip around Australia and South-East Asia, it seems Niall Horan is wasting no time finding a lucky lady to spend all his time off with.

The Mullingar native has been spotted getting cosy with Joe Jonas' model ex, Jessica Serfaty, who also competed in the 2010 series of the hit show, America's Next Top Model.

According to the Sun, the pair were spotted on a string of dates in LA over the weekend.

"Niall and Jessica have loads in common and enjoy spending time together," a source told the Daily Mail.

"They spent the entire night locked together and were very touchy-feely. They kissed in a corridor. There is no doubt there is something going on between them."

The pair reportedly met at the UFC fight where the pair were both supporting Irish boxer Conor McGregor in Las Vegas.

"Niall even pretended to pull a wrestling move on her for a laugh. They seemed to be getting on really well."

The 22-year-old One Direction star even reportedly invited the stunning model to an LA Galaxy football game the night evening where they were spotted flirting again in the box.

Niall sure does waste no time.

Kelly Clarkson has shown support for Kesha as she fights to be freed from her current record contract and now it seems we know why.

Speaking on Australian radio, the Heartbeat Song singer revealed that she felt pressurised into working with the hit-maker by her label.

"I worked with [Dr. Luke] because literally I got blackmailed by my label. They were like, 'We will not put your album out if you don't do this.' "

Though the 33-year-old did not particularly want to work with the producer, he manifested her smash hit single from her first album, Since U Been Gone

As a result, her label pushed her to work with the hit-maker on future songs despite not being the producer's biggest fan.

"Unfortunately, when you have that poor of character – so many artists don't like you and don't like working with you – that's not normal.

"I get along with everyone I work with, but he's just not a good guy for me.

"Obviously, he’s a talented dude. He just lied a lot. I've run into a couple of really bad situations. Musically, it's been really hard for me because he will just lie to people.

"And it's like, 'What?' And it makes the artist look bad. He's kind of difficult to work with; kind of demeaning."

Pop-star Kesha is currently fighting to be released from a contract with her record label for six more albums off the back of allegations that the top music producer drugged and raped her while they worked together.

Despite Dr Luke denying the accusations, numerous celebrities and fans have come out to show support for the Tik Tok singers including Kelly who tweeted at the time of her failed court appearance.

"Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person … so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke."

Actress Hayden Panettiere is speaking about her struggle with postpartum depression following the birth of her first child, Kaya, to partner Wladimir Klitschko in December of 2014.

Speaking to Yahoo! Style, the Nashville star revealed how scary to illness is.

"If you think for one second that a mother wants to feel that way toward her child, you’re outta your mind.

"It is one of the most debilitating, scary, guilty feelings that you can ever feel.

"That a mother would not be able to connect with their child, would not be able to get a grip, or would not know what’s going on, for anybody to say that it’s false or created by us, you must have your head examined."

The 26-year-old plays top country singer Juliette Barnes on the hit ABC show Nashville with her own character coincidentally suffering the same illness after having a child.

"It’s definitely interesting how much it has mirrored my life," she said on playing the part.

"The way I do things is to pull from my own personal experience and sometimes even turn myself into what I’m portraying so that I can pull from my life and step into that person’s shoes by being able to relate."

The actress also revealed why she is speaking about her experience now.

"The more open I was, the more acceptance I got from people. I got so much support and so much love. I was floored.

"I feel much more exposed, yes, but in a great way."

While Kim Kardashian attempted to once again break the internet with a naked selfie on Instagram yesterday, she has managed to remain headline news by replying to comments from other celebrities about the provocative snap.

In a rant not dissimilar to those of her famous hubby, she called out Bette Midler and actress Chloe Grace Moretz among others in a pretty cringe-inducing tirade.

It all began when actress Bette decided to weigh in on the aforementioned pic.

"Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera," read a tweet by the 70-year-old yesterday.

The 35-year-old star responded by jokingly asking the actress to send nudes before adding: "I really didn't want to bring up how how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me."

She also took a swipe at 19-year-old actress Chloe Grace Moretz, who earlier in the day had tweeted: "I truly hope you realise how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than our bodies."

Ouch.

Kim began her tirade in true Kanye form by boasting about transferring a million dollars into her bank account.

Tennis champion Maria Sharapova has confirmed she does not wish to retire from the sport, and hopes to play again, despite having just failed a major doping test.

The 28-year-old, who is currently the world's highest-paid female athlete, announced the doping news in front of a packed press conference in Los Angeles this evening.

She explained that she had received word from the International Tennis Federation that she tested positive for the banned substance meldonium at the Australian Open in January 2016.

Meldonium was added to the Federation's official banned substance list at the beginning of January, but Maria said it had been prescribed to her by her family doctor for the last ten years.

"I've made a huge mistake," she told the gathered media.

"I know that with this I face consequences… I don’t want to end my career this way and I hope that I will have a chance to play again."

Meldonium is thought to increase endurance, improve rehabilitation after exercise, and protect the body against stress.

Many press outlets had predicted that Maria's "major announcement" would be related to her retirement, but she assured them this was not the case – and did so quite sassily indeed.

"I know many of you thought that I would be announcing my retirement but if I was ever going to… it would probably not be in a downtown Los Angeles hotel with this fairly ugly carpet."

Maria has won five Grand Slam singles titles and has won each of the four major tournaments – the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the United States Open – at least once.
