Hands up if you used to play every sport imaginable in primary school, only to give it up when you entered the weird and wonderful world of secondary school?

Sadly, as we grow up and enter puberty, many of us girls tend to hang up our football boots or put away the hurls because it's 'not the done thing'.

How many times have we heard comments like 'girls shouldn’t play that sport'? Or seen girls’ teams playing in half-filled arenas?

WAY too many times.

In fact, the saying 'you play like a girl' is deemed to be an insult – something Always want turned on its head.

According to a recent Always Confidence & Puberty survey, by the end of puberty, over half of the girls surveyed will have quit playing sport.

That's a lot of young females hanging up football boots and runners – things they have used since they were children.

To help highlight this important issue, Always partnered with Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Nanette Burstein to find out how girls feel about playing sport.

"It’s my hope that this video will spark a conversation and inspire girls to keep playing sport. I love and support the #LikeAGirl campaign and I’m thrilled to be partnering with Always ahead of the Olympic Games to shed light on this important issue,” said Nanette.

Always is inviting everybody to join in to rewrite the rules and keep girls in sport. Pledge that you’ll keep playing #LikeAGirl and encourage others to do the same.

Simply upload a picture, shoot a video or tweet using #LikeAGirl to show your support and inspire young girls everywhere to keep playing.

Rihanna fans received a number of surprises at her Manchester gig last night and among them was one of our favourite things – free pizza!

As fans waited in the pouring rain outside the Emirates Old Trafford stadium, 20 mysterious pizza-filled boxes arrived at the scene – some of which were emblazoned with Rihanna's own signature – along with some dry towels for wet fans.

Naturally the receivers of the gifts couldn’t wait to share the news of what’d happened and took to social media to celebrate the experience.

But as great as pizza and towels are, that's not all Rihanna treated fans to last night as the star put on a seriously steamy performance with none other than her ex-boyfriend Drake.

While singing Work as part of Ri-Ri's Anti World Tour, Drake reportedly couldn’t keep his hands off the megastar and even began kissing her neck live on stage.

Once again fans went into total meltdown with one Twitter-user writing: "I can't believe I've just seen two of my faves grinding on each other. Please make babies @rihanna @Drake."

Earlier this week the pair sparked rumours that they were back on as they both waited until the very wee hours of the morning to leave Nicole Scherzinger’s birthday bash at Tape nightclub in London.

And – according to the Daily Mail – back in May it was claimed the pair had been “secretly dating for months” after they put on another suggestive performance at a concert in LA.

Between pizza and Drake we're excitedly awaiting the Diamonds singer's next move.

Earlier this month hearts melted as Louis Tomlinson gave the world a glimpse of his life as a father by marking his first Father's Day with an adorable Instagram post.

And now it seems the young dad wants to spend even more time with 5-month-old Freddie as – according to TMZ – Louis is going to court seeking joint legal and physical custody of his son and to request that the baby spends time 50% of his time with each parent.

Sources revealed to TMZ that the One D star is unhappy with the current custody arrangement as he has only been allowed "inconsistent" access to Freddie recently.

He is reportedly paying his ex Briana Jungwirth around $15,000 a month in child support but should the pair go to court it will be up to a judge to decide whether or not that amount is appropriate

Louis is also renting a $1 million Calabasas home for baby Freddie to live in with his stylist mother.

The news comes after Louis and Briana were snapped exchanging Freddie in a hotel car park last month as rumours circulated that Briana had banned Louis from her house.

Given how cute Freddie is, we're not surprised his dad wants more time with him.

We were shocked when we found out Iggy Azalea broke up with her soon-to-be hubby Nick Young.

But now, the reason for the split has surfaced and we can see why she wiped the slate clean with him.

According to Life & Style, Nick is expecting a second child with his ex-girlfriend, which means he cheated on her during their year-long engagement.

After the pair initially split, Iggy revealed that she couldn't re-build her trust for him as much as she tried since cheating rumours emerged in the media – but now, there's obviously much more to the story.

"Nick waited until Keonna was four months pregnant to tell Iggy the news," the insider said.

They added that "he was drunk and had a lapse of judgement.

"He said it was a one-night stand and will never happen again." However, this is "something [Iggy] can't ignore, and it ruined their future together."

She has one of the most enviable bodies in Hollywood, and we LOVE how she promotes the curves as one of the most beautiful parts of the human body.

And while she's preparing to go on her world tour, Queen Bey is embarking on a major fitness regime to get her ready to sprint around on stage.

The singer has enlisted the help of top personal trainer, Marco Borges, to get her ready and he absolutely swears by this routine and promises if you perform it three times a week for six weeks, you'll feel as fab as the Queen does.

Speaking to Glamour, the trainer first says you should up your energy levels by boxing and swinging weighted ropes.

"You run out of gas fast; by pushing through that fatigue, you develop a ton of endurance," he says.

Marco also explains that running fast is great for building up Bey's energy so she can leap around on stage.

"Sprints are ideal for building stamina and explosiveness, which B needs to move across the stage. Marco recommends alternating between one-minute sprints and then two minutes of brisk walking for a half an hour.

For building strength, he says it's all about the kettlebell squat and press.

"It's an exercise that hits all the major muscles. If you did nothing else, you'd still get a great workout.

And to finish off the regime, the exercise expert urges you to stretch it all out.

"I stretch B at the end of every workout." It majorly improves your flexibility and will make you feel less ~achey~ the day after you exercise.

Check out here for more of Queen Bey's tips.

As much as we were all delighted to see a new line-up of actors for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, in any HP fan's heart, there is only one Harry Potter, and that's Daniel Radcliffe.

We grew up along with the movie's actors and actresses, and no matter what other work Daniel, Rupert or Emma take on, they'll always be the world's smartest wizards to us.

Many A-listers tend to shy away from roles that made them famous, but in a recent interview with Radio Times, Dan said he'd be more than happy to step back into the role… Once the terms were right.

"It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary," he said.

"But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo, and look what happened there! So I am saying no for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future."

That answer is practically a 'hell yes', right?!

While attending the launch of the Marilyn Monroe: Legend And Legacy exhibition in Newbridge Museum Of Style Icons this week, I was struck by many things: that the star's jewellery hoard was surprisingly lacking in diamonds; just how teeny-tiny her waist was, and how eloquent her typed letters were.

One detail that really stood out, however, was the revelation that a pair of red shoes on display dated all the way back to Norma Jeane's modelling days – long before she became Marilyn Monroe, and was catapulted into stardom and the glamorous trappings of Hollywood.

It seems that even with the world's top designers clambering to dress her, Marilyn wouldn't be parted with a pair of years-old shoes. She kept EVERYTHING. Indeed, one of the exhibition curators joked that if Marilyn went out and bought a pint of milk, she would hold on to the receipt.

It's certainly in contrast to my own approach. In fact, right now, there is not a single garment in my wardrobe that is less than three years old.

So here we are, flocking to these admittedly GORGEOUS exhibitions to marvel at the treasured collections of icons, gazing in awe at how well kept each piece was. But if we appreciate the legacy of fashion handed down by our most beloved stars, how come our modern-day approach to style is so different?

The answer: our unwavering addiction to 'fast fashion'.

This addiction is what has spawned so many lookalike celebrity fashion lines, caused garments to sell out minutes after being spotted on bloggers, and led to that very item ending up on your Depop account weeks later.

To put it into perspective: last week, following the Brexit result, the British pound began to plummet in value. What was our response? We were so desperate to bag an item at knockdown price that we took to ASOS and brought the company to its knees. The site was down for an ENTIRE DAY – unheard of in an age where digital reigns.

There's something to be said for the fact that, 54 years after her untimely death, Marilyn Monroe remains one of our most legendary icons. But, in a time when fashion is so disposable, you have to wonder just whose garments will be lining the walls of the Museum Of Style Icons in 50 years' time.

We haven't lost our passion for authenticity – the exhibition itself proves this. But perhaps we need to take inspiration from Marilyn, and consider the legacy and stories we're leaving behind with our clothing.

Here's an example: a few weeks back, one of my colleagues walked into the office wearing a butter-yellow prom dress with floral detail. The female-heavy, fashion-loving editorial team was practically on its knees worshipping at its wearer's altar, demanding to know where she made this head-turning purchase.

Sadly for us (though luckily for her), her grandmother had created the item especially for her 21st birthday some time ago. It had been recently taken out of storage for another spin – giving us an entirely new appreciation of the power of one dress in the process.

And so I ask: is it time for a fashion detox? Should we desist in our race to keep up with the Kardashians (or indeed the Amy Childs, and the Michelle Keegans, and the Lauren Goodgers). Should we, as a matter urgency, reconsider the true place of fashion in our lives?

I, for one, am looking forward to taking a long overdue strike from my fast-fashion diet. Instead, I'll be seeking inspiration from a pair of simple red shoes worn by a rather exceptional woman who went on to achieve iconic status.

The Newbridge Silverware Museum Of Style Icons is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am – 6pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 11am – 6pm. Entry is free.

The Marilyn Monroe memorabilia exhibition runs until July 25.

When Luas drivers took industrial action following pay disputes in recent months, thousands of disgruntled commuters suggested that the city would be better served by automated trams.

And it looks like Dublin City Council may be on the same page as this section of the public.

According to The Independent, 'Luas Automated'  – a proposal put forth by Fine Gael councillor Dr. Paddy Smyth – was passed at the Council's Transport Committee meeting earlier today.

It has been established that the committee then called on the new Minister for Transport, the National Transport Authority, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and TransDev to ascertain whether new Luas trams would be in a position to facilitate self-driving software.

Outlining the motivation for the proposal, Dr. Smyth said: "Given the cost to the city caused by this strike in recent months, I feel it is my obligation, as a representative of those who were disproportionately affected, to point out that should the drivers choose to return to the pickets, we must look at all options of returning a functioning tram service in this city."

In spite of this possible future development, Dr. Smyth insists that current drivers will not be replaced by machines, saying: "The passing of the motion does not mean any drivers will be fired from their job and replaced by an automation."

"This (Luas trams) is a very expensive piece of kit to be lying idle during 12 days of industrial action," he argued.

"It is not a proposal with which SIPTU can use to flex it's muscles in the opening act of post austerity industrial relations," he added.
