Congratulations are in order for Dani Harmer and her partner Simon Brough, they have just welcomed a baby girl!

The Tracey Beaker star became a first time mother today, and it was her BFF, Sarah Limm, who announced the news on Twitter.

"Congratulations @sbrough18 and @MissDaniJHarmer on the birth of your daughter. Now to start planning all the playdates!" she wrote.

Fans flooded the actresses page after Sarah's tweet with well wishes for the new family.

"Welcome to the world Avarie-Belle Betsy Brough!!" one fan wrote, while another said, "Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little one!"

Avarie-Belle! What a cute name.

We wish the couple all the best with their new baby.

Many a weekend morning was spent in front of the TV, cornflakes in tow, watching the crazy life of Tracy Beaker.

For many, it was a weekly ritual, and made you want to get up to all sorts of mad things.

Well, now the former teen star, Dani Harmer, is making us feel rather old, as she has revealed that she's pregnant.

The actress is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Brough, and has admitted that she's "always wanted to be a mum."

In an interview with Hello!, Dani said: "I absolutely can't wait. I'm also really nervous. But I guess I just have to take each day as it comes."

Her boyfriend, Simon, also seems to be pretty excited about the upcoming arrival.

"Starting a family is something we've joked about pretty much from day one," he said.

"But we don't want to get married just because we're having a baby. Dani wants the little one to walk up the aisle with us, so we'll have to wait a fair few years for that."

Well hello there!
