This is what happens when Photoshop goes bad, apparently.

According to the Irish Times, the satirical new website Waterford Whispers News has been served with a cease and desist letter. It comes following businessman Denis O'Brien appeared in an altered image in which he was a convicted criminal.

Following their posting of an article that features Irish businessman Denis O’Brien as a convicted criminal, his legal team served the site with the letter.

The founder of Communicorp has managed to since have the article removed from the site. His lawyers have said it was a “malicious and deliberate defamation of the most serious kind”.

The article was focused on the findings of the Moriarty tribunal in relation to his dealings with the minister for communications of the time Michael Lowry when he was awarded the State’s second mobile phone licence.

The letter was tweeted by editor of the site Colm Williamson, which was marked private and confidential.

Quoting the article, the letter referred to the “parallel universe” in the article and how it was a “sham”.

Williamson’s tweet captioned the image: "You know you're doing something right when a multi-billionaire megalomaniac sends you a cease and desist letter".

Naturally some social media users couldn't help but weight in on the situation:

The article was to be removed from the site and all social media platforms by yesterday evening at the latest, or the legal team warned they would “take all necessary steps to vindicate our client’s good name and reputation”.

Mr O’Brien, who is currently involved in a legal dispute with the Oireachtas accusing the courts of breaching his Constitutional rights, has yet to comment on the letter.

For any Dubliners out there in dire need of a new haunt, you’re fears are needless.

There is soon to be a new bar in the capital for all of your socialising needs. Due to open in the coming weeks apparently, this place isn’t going to be your usual run of the mill affair. In fact, the name of the pub itself is causing more than a few eyebrows to raise.

Have you heard it yet? Well, if you haven’t then you better get used to it:

According to Publin it is described as a “hip new buzz bar” Porndog is supposedly going to be opening their doors on Harcourt Street over the coming weeks.

Not to be confused for a rather unfortunate autocorrect, the name is actually the name. Sure why not?

According to their Facebook page they are due to open their doors at the end of this month. They are also looking for employees.

We feel certain there is going to be more than a few questions to be raised about how the name for this place came about. We think we’d rather wait and ask at the bar instead of taking the risk of entering that phrase into any search engines….

When news broke this week that Zayn Malik had called off his two-year engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, we felt awful for her.

Now though, we're feeling even worse with the news that Zayn ended things by text… the ultimate relationship faux-pas.

Apparently Zayn chose not to call or speak with Perrie face-to-face to call things off, and instead sent her a single text. In the two weeks that followed, the One Direction singer has made no contact with his ex-fiancée, leaving her to deal with things alone.

"He ended their engagement with one text message and in the two weeks since there's been complete radio silence between them," a source told Dan Wootton from The Sun.

The insider is definitely from Perrie's camp, too, as they referred to Zayn as "an immature little boy with no thought for anyone else's feelings" adding that it was "unbelievable" he would treat someone like that.

Perrie is said to be "devastated" by the split and had to rely on her bandmates to come to her rescue when the subject came up in an interview yesterday. When an E! presenter asked how she was feeling the 22-year-old replied shortly "I'm good, thank you" before fellow LIttle Mix member Leigh-Anne Pincock jumped in to say, "We don't really want to talk about it."

As for Zayn, he has been spending his time checking out Kylie Jenner's Twitter pictures and posting a series of cryptic tweets of his own.

"You just can't do enough for some people, I guess," he wrote last night.

A dig at Perrie? We hope not.

If certain health publications are to be believed, we should all have sworn off cooking with olive oil long ago in favour of coconut, sunflower or other "safer" cooking products.

While olive oil has always been considered a heart-healthy oil when used in salad dressings or as a dip for bread, many foodies wrote off using the oil for cooking as it was believed to develop dangerous toxic compounds when used with high heats.

Now though, new research says olive oil might be a much safer choice than previously thought, and it is actually more resistant to heat than other plant-based oils like sunflower, corn, and soybean. 

"I have found no evidence that high-heat cooking with olive oil is unhealthy," says US clinical nutrition director Rebecca Blake to Prevention magazine. "There's no proof."

All oils (including your beloved coconut oil) will break down, lose nutrients and can even develop harmful compounds when heat is applied. However olive oil is relatively resistant to these changes given its high antioxidant content.

The key when cooking with olive oil is to avoid the "smoke point", i.e. the temperature at which the oil begins to break down. Olive oil has a fairly low smoke point, so you should avoid it when cooking on very high heats eg. when searing or using a wok.

The smoke point for a standard extra virgin olive oil starts at about 190 degrees Celsius, but gets higher for lower quality olive oils.

If you do plan on cooking with high heats, Ms. Blake recommends using corn, soybean, peanut oil or sesame oil, all of which have a high smoke point.

One thing we've always loved about Jersey Shore alum Snooki is her brutal honesty, so we had to applaud this week when she told fans the truth about her latest beauty venture.

The mum-of-two, real name Nicole Polizzi, has always been self-conscious about her thin lips, and finally decided to take the plunge by getting lip fillers to plump them up. Posting a picture alongside cosmetic surgeon to the stars, Dr. Ramtin Kassir, Snooki was quick to tell fans what she'd had done. 

"Welp I did it kids! Tried my first lip plumping and so doing more #noshame thanks doc for not killing me" she wrote, showing off her noticeably fuller pout.

In another post later on that showed a close up look at her newly-filled lips, the reality star said the procedure wasn't as scary as she had thought it would be. "First session of lip plumps and it's just fabulous," she wrote. 

"I've always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the balls to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did! Trust me girls, I was terrified to get my first 'procedure' ever done, but it wasn't terrible at all! And I hate needles! I love my 'natural beauty', but being able to enhance my lips to make me feel better about myself is life."

As one of Kylie Jenner's biggest fans, it's no surprise Snooki was ready to emulate the teenage star's pout. Back in April she posted a picture of herself with her lips fully lined, writing, "Tried the liner on the lips! Do I have Kylie Jenner lips yet?!"

Fans of Kylie will remember that she stayed silent about her notoriously full lips for months, claiming it was all down to expertly applied make-up, before admitting in May that she had gone for fillers too.

"I have temporary lip fillers, it's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do," she admitted during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

However, the reality TV star was adamant that she wasn't untruthful with her fans, adding, "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie."

Maybe next time she'll take a leaf out of Snooki's book and be 100% honest up front.

He apparently only split from his fiance and long-term partner Perrie Edwards in the last few weeks. 

And she, of course, remains loved-up with her rapper beau of a year, Tyga.

But we can't help but think that Zayn Malik, 22, and an almost 18-year-old Kylie Jenner would be the celebrity world's most perfect couple. 

And evidently Mr Malik, who boasts some 15million followers on the social media platform, likes what he sees on Ms Jenner's Twitter feed.

Before hitting a VIP enclave at the famed Warwick nightclub on Sunset Boulevard in LA last night, he made sure to favourite a previous snap of Kylie's – one where she looks particularly gorgeous in a mesh Dolce & Gabbana dress. 

Significantly, however, the image was posted a full week ago – meaning that, in all likelihood, Zayn was having a bit of a root around her profile at the time. 

Hey, we've ALL been there. 

Prior to last night's seal of approval, the former One Direction-er had only added his orange star to a total of nine tweets – meaning the teenager joins an especially illustrious group.

We await further developments – but wouldn't it be oh-so great if Zayn turned up to Kylie's totally OTT 18th birthday bash in Canada in ten days' time?

Congrats are in order for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux today, with the news that the long-term couple are now officially married,

Two years after getting engaged, the new Mr. and Mrs. tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home yesterday.

Photos posted by gossip site TMZ today show an intimate, beautifully decorated wedding at Jennifer and Justin's $21m (€19.2m) Bel Air mansion. 

Guests were gathered on low stools around small candlelit tables, with a large dancefloor set up on the grass and the pool covered over to create more walking space.

Not ones to take things too seriously, the couple topped their wedding cake with two giant bride-and-groom Muppet-style figurines.

The wedding was so top-secret that not even the guests themselves knew what was going down. Jennifer apparently told them she was throwing a surprise 44th birthday bash for her fiancé, but the wedding cake and the pastor holding a Bible soon gave the game away to the media.

A-list friends of the couple in attendance included Lisa Kudrow, Howard Stern, Sia, Chelsea Handler, Jennifer Meyer, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Ellen DeGeneres, Lake Bell, Scott Campbell, and Terry Richardson. In order to ensure that word did not get out to the press about the lavish wedding, it's thought Jen confiscated all of her staff members' phones in the week leading up to the big day.

Extreme, much?!

46-year-old Jennifer began dating fellow actor Justin Theroux back in 2012, and the pair got engaged a year and a half later.

Leftovers star Justin popped the question at his 41st birthday dinner at Blue Hill restaurant in New York, presenting the actress with an 8-carat cut diamond ring he had designed himself. And we reckon he did a VERY good job:

Although it's definitely been a long engagement, Jennifer said she was happy to wait. "We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job," she told AP in 2013. "And, you know, we already feel married."

Back in 2000, Jennifer became one half of Hollywood's golden couple when she married Brad Pitt, but the pair split up five years later.

Since then Jennifer has been linked to a number of men, including her Break-Up co-star Vince Vaughn. However she seems to have truly found happiness with Justin.,calling him the "best thing" to ever happen to her.

Mariah Carey is never one to let a little thing like a demanding child get in the way of her moment in the spotlight. Even if that child is one of her own, it seems.

The legendary singer was accepting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, and brought her four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe along for the big moment. Except the little ones really didn't seem to give a toss about their famous mum's special event, and spent most of the time doing what four-year-olds do best… being total messers.

While both Monroe and Moroccan got a little antsy during the presentation and speeches, little Moroccan really outshone his sister with an epic red carpet tantrum as Mariah posed for the cameras.

As his mum lay across the ground next to her new star, Moroccan showed his love by climbing on top of her, hugging her and clinging to her.

Amazing. 

Eventually the poor lad had to be pried off his mum by an assistant, in what has to be one of the most iconic celebrity baby moments of 2015. 

It almost beats North West's catwalk tantrum back in February:

As for Mariah, she seemed totally unfazed by the incident and barely broke her showbiz smile for a second despite the screaming child at her side. That's professionalism.

Speaking to PEOPLE after the incident, the newly divorced singer said she wouldn't have had it any other way. "I didn’t know what they were going to do or say. Trust me, it was not planned," she said. "For them to be here was everything. I’m so humbled and grateful."

Bet those photos are getting whipped out at the twins' 21st birthday party…

Thieves often don all manner of strange attire in order to conceal their true identity.

And in Belfast this morning, one female armed robber opted for a "distinctive cow-print onesie," as she held up a man in Belfast city centre. 

Police said the woman, who carried a gun, stole cash from her 20-year-old victim on Great Victoria Street at 3am today.

She travelled in a blue Volkswagen Golf and was accompanied by two men at the time. The gang subsequently escaped with a sum of cash in the same vehicle.

The PSNI have now said that they are asking "anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives".

Getting an STI test is often something we don't think of until it's too late, but these new figures should definitely motivate you to pick up the phone and make that appointment.

Positive cases of chlamydia increased by 32% last year, according to new figures from the Dublin Well Woman Centre Annual Report. The centre detected 253 cases of the STI last year, up almost a third on 2013.

Last year's figure is the second highest in 13 years, an alarming statistic considering the amount of sexual health education easily available these days.

As well as chlamydia testing, the Well Woman Clinic offers a full screen for STIs and includes bloods, swabs and any necessary referrals, prescriptions or follow-up.

The figures also noted an increase in women choosing long-action reversible contraception choices, like the Implanon implant, a small flexible plastic rod which is placed under the skin, giving contraceptive protection for 3 years.

While they do not prevent against STIs, many women choose LARCs as a more reliable method of protection from unplanned pregnancy. "LARCs are highly effective, have minimal side effects and are a ‘fit and forget’ solution to contraception," says Dr Shirley McQuade, Medical Director of the Well Woman Centre.

However for guaranteed protection from STIs, especially during sex with a new partner, condoms are still always recommended.

What is chlamydia?
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection which can be contracted by having vaginal, oral or anal sex with someone who is also infected. 

How do I know if I have it?
Unlike other STIs, chlamydia often has no symptoms, though some women do present with abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when peeing. Condoms offer the greatest protection against chlamydia and STIs in general, so it is extremely important to get tested if you have had unprotected sex with a new partner recently or suspect you may be at risk.

What happens if I have chlamydia?
Luckily, chlamydia can be easily detected during an STI test and can be treated with a short course of antibiotics. If left untreated the STI can result in serious, permanent damage to a woman's reproductive system.

We honestly thought that reality TV was starting to go out of fashion, but apparently not!

While we haven’t seen the pair together for some time, Dina and Micheal Lohan, parents of Lindsay, Ali, Cody and Michael Jnr, are reuniting.

You may remember the pair for making headlines with their dysfunctional, and frankly volatile relationship which came to an end in 2007. Since then they have kept relatively quiet, but not for much longer.

Reports are saying that the pair have been pitching an idea for a new reality series in recent times, starring none other than themselves, naturally. The premise seems to loosely be cameras documenting the once bitter duo on their road to reconciliation.

Confidenti@l has been told  “He and Dina are scheduled to do a family therapy show, and they signed contracts. They’ve been meeting with production companies.”

Apparently they reached an agreement through their lawyers to become producers of the untitled series.

We’re trying to envision how this would end, and we’re just having flashbacks to their appearance on The Test in 2013. Which didn’t go very smoothly let’s just say.Or indeed Dina's short-lived E! reality series that left us all with many questions regarding teenage Ali's music career.

“In the past, shows wanted these two on to talk about Lindsay, but after her failed TV show on Oprah Winfrey’s network, people care less about her.”

It seems like her parents are trying to resurrect their family’s fame. According to a top TV producer who spoke to the NY Daily News however, “the chance of selling this idea is a long shot.”

We shall wait and see what the future holds for this twosome.

Many a time Hailo has been our saving grace at the end of the night when we have our chipper and just want to get home quick and eat it in peace. 

Today marks the third birthday of the taxi company and to celebrate they did something a bit different… and completely hilarious.

Their birthday video includes a three-year-old taxi driver driving around the city picking people up. As you can imagine people are really not sure what's going on when they get into the car. 

Don't worry though, little Kai was of course pretending to drive as his Dad was camouflaged extremely well as the taxi seat sitting underneath him.
