We all do it every now and then – pair a grungy leather jacket with a cute little dress; wear fabulous heels with ripped jeans.

Combining grunge with startling beauty and elegance is a look that stemmed from the rise of Kate Moss more than 20 years ago.

If this is a style you love, then now is the time to get excited because there is a brand new nail polish range on the market that is dedicated to this very look.

Contradictions is the new collection from CND that gives customers a clash between gritty street elements and elegant details.

If you want the perfect combination of glamour and grunge – this is it.

There are eight different colours in the collection that range from Safety Pin, to Rouge Rite, and Peacock Plume.

Part of the VINYLUX Weekly Polish range, Contradictions includes a self-adhering colour coat that eliminates the need for a base coat and a top coat because it is more durable.

With the hot weather finally upon, it’s finally time to take out our frayed denim shorts, and now we have the perfect polish to match.

Do you love cycling? And Big Macs? Well then, this is the invention for you.

McDonalds has designed a new type of packaging, specifically targeted at those on two wheels.

It is reported that McDonalds is experiencing a dip in popularity – meaning it's had to get inventive to entice people back. And this is the sort of inventive we like!

Those pulling up to a drive-through on a bicycle are given their food in a handy box which has room for a burger, chips and a drink. Better still, it can hang off your handle bar.

It was launched in Denmark recently, and will soon be hitting The Netherlands and Japan. It hasn't been announced yet, but hopefully Ireland will be added to the list soon.

And surely cycling cancels out the McDonalds your about to eat?

Following the birth of their second child, they've been very much hiding out in their country abode, Amner Hall.

However, it seems that our favourite royal pairing, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are about to make an unofficial appearance this week – namely at Wimbledon.

Wills and Kate have visited the All England Tennis club on many occasions over the past number of years, sitting in the Royal Box (natch) on Centre Court.

In fact, aside from the tennis itself, Kate’s court-side fashion is pretty much the most important thing going on at Wimbledon this fortnight.

The British queen-in-waiting, who gave birth to Princess Charlotte on May 2, was in attendance when Scotland's Andy Murray won an Olympic gold medal on Wimbledon turf in 2012. And she visited several times last year – when defending champion Mr Murray lost in the quarter finals.

So with the Grand Slam tournament beginning this week, we've decided to look back at some of Kate’s most stylish Wimbledon moments:

In this white lace wonder by Australian designer, Zimmerman, Catherine really stood out from the crowd at last year's competition

Also last year, we love this pop of colour from designer Jonathan Saunders and would like to see something similar for the '15 tournament

Kate looks effortlessly elegant in this Alexander McQueen dress while cheering on Andy Murray in 2012

This white Alice Temperley dress sold out within minutes of Duchess Catherine walking onto Centre Court in 2011

PS… We also need the Cambridges to go along because their matching facials expressions are seriously adorable!

OK, so did they rehearse these?

Lady Gaga never shies away from showing off her body on social media, but she showed this week that she's not doing it to make others feel insecure.

The singer's weight has yo-yo'd in the past but she is currently slim and toned thanks to a love of yoga and hard work at the gym.

Posting on Instagram yesterday, Gaga looked thinner than ever, although she made sure to explain to fans that her concave stomach was something of an illusion.

Sharing a picture of herself doing a crab-like yoga pose with an elastic strip around her legs the star wrote, "Up early for hip exercise! I have to do these everyday to keep my hip strong, otherwise I have pain. (fyi I'm not really that thin it's just the stretch! Trust me! Haha)."

Back in 2013 Gaga was left in too much pain to walk after injuring her right hip during a performance on her world tour. She was eventually forced to cancel the rest of the tour and later underwent surgery to fix the problem.

However as is clear from her recent Instagram post, the singer still needs to do certain exercises regularly to keep herself pain-free.

It's no surprise that the Born This Way hitmaker is being cautious with what she says and does on social media of late, as last week she became the subject of some scrutiny following a controversial tweet about sunbeds.

Many users hit back at the star for "promoting" the use of tanning beds when she took to Twitter to write, "Diet, diet, diet, gluten-free, plant, bio, macro, whatever. Sometimes a girl just needs a diet coke and a tanning bed."

Although the tweet was never deleted, it was discussed by a number of high-profile media outlets, and we're sure the bad news made its way back to Gaga's camp eventually.

The funeral of 21-year-old Eoghan Culligan has taken place this afternoon in Rathfarnham.

Eoghan died in Berkeley, California along with five others when the fourth-floor balcony they were standing on at a 21st birthday party collapsed.

An alumnus of St Mary's College in Rathmines, current pupils from the school provided a guard of honour along with Eoghan's team-mates from Ballyboden St Enda’s GAA club.

During the ceremony, his parents, brothers and friends all spoke movingly. And Eoghan's girlfriend, 20-year-old Sarah McCarthy, a young woman who had attended the nearby Loreto Beaufort secondary school, brought much of the congregation to tears.

Reading aloud a poem she penned herself, she said would mourn the “future we could have had and the memories we could have made”.

She said: "I'll miss our walks in Dun Laoghaire to catch the sun set and I'll miss our ritual of a cup of tea and a biscuit every night after dinner.

"I'll miss the dinner dates and cheeky pints… the hungover days of eating McDonalds for breakfast and Dominoes for dinner.

"I'll miss our seasonal trips to Vienna to visit Andy and T, our walks in Marley Park and how we'd Facetime each other every night before bed.

"I'll also miss texting you every second of the day and how we were the only ones who understood what real music was.

"I'll miss the way you never left my side and when it was time to say goodbye you'd hug me so tight, tell me how much you loved me and then say goodnight.

"I'll miss you waiting on me patiently without any fuss and how you always made sure I knew no one else in the world mattered except us.

"I'll miss hearing you tell me how amazing we were and how we were put on this earth to be with each other.

"I'll miss how much you loved and the future we could have had and the memories we could have made.

"My soulmate was taken from me but I know you will live on in my heart every day and that you will guide me every step of the way."

Eoghan Culligan's brothers, Stephen and Andy, also addressed the hundreds of mourners in attendance.

"He was always the one who saw both the common ground and the stupidity of our arguments. He was our translator, our sense-maker, our peacemaker, He was our wiser brother," Stephen said.

Andy said he brought the other brothers closer together as the family grew older, adding: "What's been very apparent to me over the last few days… Eoghan would always be the person I could rely on.

"He was my little brother but he was my big brother at the same time."

Afterwards, Eoghan, a former student at DIT, was brought to Mount Jerome Cemetery for burial.

Taylor Swift is changing the face of the music industry, but it seems she might have her eye on a different prize.

This time last year the 25-year-old said she might never have kids but something has clearly changed her mind (cough, cough Calvin, maybe?)

Her career is on the constant rise but when recently speaking to ITV News this week, she was asked where she sees herself in ten years. And her answer? With a family of her own.

Taylor begins her UK tour this Saturday and when speaking to the English broadcaster she explained that she hopes to have a family in her early 30s.

Still, she says she does worry about protecting them from everything that comes along with living life in the public eye.

Indeed, the superstar singer said she has great respect for Angelina Jolie and that she really admires how she raised her six children in the spotlight.

Her admiration for Angelina stretches as “her life is not just for the purpose of making money or coming up with the most lucrative business deals," but for what she constantly gives back.

Last year when speaking to InStyle, Taylor explained that she didn’t have much interest in having her own children.

At the time, she told the magazine: "I don't know if I'll have kids, it’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies."

Let's hope that Calvin is on the same page too…

This week we've been treated to gorgeous no makeup selfies from Kylie Jenner and Sofia Vergara.

And it seems they've kicked off a serious trend, because now Beyonce is eager to get in on their act.

Posing up for an Instragram entry yesterday, the 33-year-old beauty was radiant with her hair pulled back off her face.

Wearing a stunning €215 one-piece swimsuit Mara Hoffman in dusty rose, it features a criss-cross back, adjustable straps, and lattice detail at front and back.

Unsurprisingly, the image has notched up 1.1million likes in 24hours.

Beyonce also accessorised with a pair of gold flash tattoo bracelets on each wrist.

The superstar singer is currently holidaying in the Caribbean with her husband, Jay Z, and their daughter, Blue Ivy, who's three-and-a-half.

Kim Kardashian is set to welcome a baby boy at the end of this year, and the fashion world has been watching her with eagle eyes to see how she handles maternity style this time around.

With no sign of a bump on show over the last few weeks, we'd been wondering if Kim would ever start to stray away from her signature figure hugging dresses and crop tops, but now it seems her pregnancy is finally showing and Kim's begun to alter her outfit choices.

Just a little, of course.

The reality star was pictured in Nice airport this morning as she arrived in France ahead of the Cannes Lions festival wearing a pair of silk Haider Ackermann jogger pants with an elasticated waist and showing a visible bump for for the first time.

The expectant mum teamed the black trousers with a skintight nude bodysuit (no change there then), a loose trench coat and a pair of sneakers from her husband's Kanye West's Adidas Originals Collection.

Given that Haider Ackermann is one of Kanye's favourite fellow designers, it's clear he is already overseeing her maternity style choices.

During Kim's last pregnancy, she admitted she struggled to find flattering maternity wear and has said she will try to keep things "more simple" this time around.

"I don’t care if I wear the same thing as long as it fits, and its comfortable," she told reporters at an event in Tennessee earlier this month… where she wore a skin tight latex dress with no sign of a growing stomach.

"This outfit is actually really comfortable," she said at the time.  "I know I don’t have much longer to wear this. It was hanging in my closet and I was like, ‘do I wear this now because it still fits me and I can’t wear it much longer?'"

Good thinking Kim!

An expert neurologist has issued a serious warning to all skinny jean wearers.

Dr Thomas Kimber has cautioned people of the dangers of skinny jeans after he treated a woman in Australia who passed out after becoming trapped in her denims.

According to his report in the newest issue of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, the woman passed out on the side of the road when she was helping a friend move house.

Dr Kimber explained, “As she was squatting for a long period of time her trousers restricted the blood supply to both calves, and in response the muscles start to undergo stress and swell.”

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the woman’s legs were so swollen that her skinny jeans had to be cut off of her.

So, how do we stop our favourite denims from strangling our thighs?

Dr Kimber tells us that “The take home message is to avoid wearing skinny jeans if you intend to do a job with squatting or kneeling. If your legs begin to feel uncomfortable or tingle, you should stand up and get the blood circulating again.”

We better make sure that we get up and move otherwise it’ll be Mom jeans all the way!

Okay, we have serious relationship envy.

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello celebrated one year together last week, and Joe couldn't help but gush about his gorgeous Colombian girlfriend as he spoke about the landmark day on a chat show yesterday.

The couple got engaged on Christmas Day 2014 after just six months together, and Magic Mike star Joe revealed he worked VERY hard to make the proposal as special as possible for Sofia. Speaking on Live! With Kelly and Michael, the actor admitted he prepared a speech for his fiancée-to-be… all through her native Spanish.

"I had a big speech in Spanish, and that's what I was nervous about," he told hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. "The last thing you want to do is, like, mess up the Spanish on the proposal to the Colombian woman."

Having pulled the proposal off without a hitch, Joe said he could still even remember a few lines of Spanish six months on, telling the hosts his speech had included the words "eres mi todo," meaning "you are my everything." Aaaaw!

Of course it wasn't just the proposal that was stunning, as Sofia has been flashing a pretty impressive rock on her ring finger for the last six months, courtesy of her fiancé:

With a date set for later this year, Sofia has said she has huge plans for her big day. "I had to invite like all my family, and Joe has a lot of friends. So it became bigger and bigger and bigger," she told Ryan Seacrest last month.

With a proposal like that… we cannot WAIT to see what the pair have in store for their wedding.
