She is one of the best in the business, so we’ll admit to feeling a little shocked when supermodel Gisele Bundchen announced that she is retiring from runway modelling.

The stunning Brazilian, famed for her never-ending legs, revealed that she has had enough of that side of the industry, and is looking to end her 20-year stint as one of the top runway models in the fashion world.

The 34-year-old also revealed that she will walk her final runway walk in Sao Paulo next month, where she will be modelling new designs from Colcci’s summer 2016 collection.

The Brazilian beauty was quick to reassure fans that, while this is the end of an era for catwalk modelling, she is not retiring entirely from the industry. Indeed, she will continue to pose for fashion spreads and campaigns.

Gisele, who is married to sports star Tom Brady, is one of the world’s highest paid models and has walked for every major label, from Chanel to Victoria’s Secret.

So, now that she’s retiring, who will take her crown?

Russell Brand is not known for holding back when it comes to either his unique brand of comedy, or sharing his opinion.

However, the consensus is that he may have overstepped the mark with a less than tasteful joke during last night’s Comic Relief programme.

The 39-year-old came in for major criticism after making an awkward joke about syringes.

“I’m in the unfortunate position of having to ask you to donate money to buy syringes, literally the exact opposite of how I spend most of my time, and the previous two decades of my life,” he said.

With co-presenter Claudia Winkleman cringing beside him, he added: “Fighting every instinct of my being. Don’t make ‘em not work again, that’s terrible. I’ll share. Sharing is caring. Although do watch out for infectious blood diseases.”

Needless to say, Twitter users were horrified by his choice of ‘joke’, with one commenting: “Wow. People suffering from HIV and Russell Brand makes jokes about syringes and ‘banging up’?”

Meanwhile, another summed up the general feeling on social media, writing: “The awkward moment Russell Brand starts joking about how awful it is they’ve made non-reusable syringes on comic relief #GetOffTheTV”.

We’ve been given plenty of hair envy of late, with a number of stars embracing the bob and chopping off their tresses.

The latest celebrity to rock the ‘it’ hairstyle of the moment is actress Jessica Alba, who has cut off the long locks she is so famous for, in favour of a stunning long bob.

The 33-year-old took to her Instagram account to share her fresh look with her followers, posing with stylist to the stars Giann Andrea.

“Uh oh someone chopped off her hair!” wrote the Valentine’s Day star, showing off a side view of her caramel locks.

“Thank you @giannandrea1 for the cute cut! Love it!” she added, posting a second shot.

It seems that Kim Kardashian has really set the short hair trend in motion this season!

Earlier today, we reported how Kim Kardashian has been on the receiving end of plenty of criticism over wearing fur, and while animal welfare organisation PETA have previously taken her to task over her choices, it’s her sister Kylie who is their latest target.

It’s not just a love of animal fur that the 17-year-old has been criticised for however, but painting her new dog’s nails.

Kylie took to her social media channels last week to introduce the latest addition to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, a dog named Bambi.

As beautiful as little Bambi is though, Kylie’s followers couldn’t help but focus on the animal’s bright pink claws.

Now, PETA has called Kylie out for the move, with Senior Vice President Lisa Lange telling entertainment site GossipCop: “All animals are naturally beautiful – without any extra flair.”

Lange took the opportunity to also question why Kylie is embracing sister Kim’s love of fur, when she is clearly so besotted with her pets.

“For Bambi’s cousins’ sake, PETA hopes she [Kylie] will watch our exposé about the Chinese fur industry and learn to treat all animals with the same compassion as the one she cuddles with in bed,” she added.

Just weeks after revealing that they were headed for divorce, it has emerged that actress Pamela Anderson has taken out a restraining order against estranged husband Rick Salomon.

According to a report by entertainment website TMZ this weekend, the former Baywatch star is claiming in court documents that Salomon tried to smother and strangle her during sex.

The official court report states that Salomon grew violent towards his 47-year-old wife after flying into a rage, and he proceeded to push a pillow over her face.

Anderson also claims that Salomon, a professional poker player, used to call her names including ‘slut’ and ‘crack whore’, after losing games.

The mother-of-two filed the petition for the restraining order this week, with the court granting it, just a month after reports of the couple’s planned divorce emerged.

Anderson and Salomon have not had the most straightforward romance. The couple exchanged vows back in 2007, but had the marriage annulled just two months later. They decided last year to give the relationship another shot, going on to remarry, but announcing their divorce just six months after.

Unfortunately, it sounds as though this split was far from amicable.

And another one bites the dust.

This morning we reported that Hollyaoks star Stephanie Waring had called time on her relationship with boyfriend Riad Erraji, and now it has been revealed that The Voice judge Ricky Wilson is also now single.

The Kaiser Chiefs frontman admitted this weekend that he has split from his girlfriend of five years, TV producer Lesley Williams.

Opening up on the reason behind the break-up, Ricky revealed that the fame brought by his new role on the BBC talent show had its role to play.

“I took the risk of putting myself out there and I knew it was going to change me. I feel quite uncomfortable that I dragged someone else in who didn’t want that. It’s a huge part of my life and I find it tricky that I can’t have it both ways,” he said.

A source also told The Sun newspaper: “Ricky always wanted to keep Lesley out of the limelight and hates the idea that people will be talking about their break-up.”

Meanwhile, plenty of viewers have drawn attention to Ricky’s flirting with singer and fellow The Voice judge Rita Ora, who is in a relationship with designer Tommy Hilfiger’s son, Ricky.

Could there on-screen chemistry have also made for uncomfortable viewing?

She is no stranger to controversy, or the odd nasty comment on social media, but things just went up a whole new level on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram.

The newly-blonde reality star took to the photo blogging site to share her latest image reinvention – as Elsa from Frozen.

Posing for a black-and-white photo and wearing a huge fur coat, the 34-year-old wrote: “Channelling my inner Elsa for North”.

Her followers were far from impressed however, with many branding her “heartless” and “scum” for wearing real fur.

“If that is really fur then you are honestly a scum for this world!” wrote one angry follower.

Meanwhile, another urged Kim to “stop wearing dead animals”.

Of course, these comments and pleas are nothing new for Kim, who has not only come under fire for dressing her daughter in fur, but has previously been taken to task by animal welfare organisation PETA.

It doesn’t look like she’s about to stop anytime soon.

It looks like it’s all over for Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring and her boyfriend Riad Erraji, amid claims that their romance broke down after the ‘holiday from hell’.

Stephanie, who fell out with actress Kym Marsh after she began dating her ex, Dan Hooper, is believed to have called off the relationship after a series of arguments while on holiday together in Dubai.

A source told The Sun newspaper that the break-up was on the cards for a while: “They weren’t getting on and the holiday was the final nail in the coffin.”

Stephanie and Riad, who was previously married to Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton, began quietly dating towards the end of last year.

Stephanie hinted at the split on her social media on Thursday night. Heading on a night out with a friend, she retweeted a message which read: "Cannot wait to see you! #SingleLadies #GotTheWifeBack".

With the split sounding far from amicable, we’re sure we can expect a word or two on social media in the coming days!

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland’s break-up with boyfriend of five years Matt Prokop was about as dramatic as they come, with Sarah allegedly obtaining a domestic violence restraining order against her former co-star.

And while Sarah, now dating Dominic Sherwood, has moved on, it seems that Matt has not been having the same luck.

Matt, who starred in 2011’s Geek Charming alongside Sarah, took to Twitter last night to make his feelings towards his ex and her new man very clear.

Amid reports that Sarah and Dominic got matching tattoos, Matt tweeted: “Never make permanent decisions based on temporary feelsings.”

Just in case anyone thought that he wasn’t talking about Sarah, he continued: “I’ll be honest. It hurts like hell watching someone you care about slowly ruin their life. When you can’t do anything to help. #FallenAngel.”

In one final tweet, he added: “Sometimes you just have to laugh…”

We don’t know, Matt, it doesn’t exactly sound like you’re amused!

Jamie Dornan has slammed rumours that his wife was not a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The actor was speaking to The Daily Mail when he addressed rumours that his wife Amelia Warner didn’t like him starring as Christian Grey, calling them: “total bollocks.”

Jamie then explained that his wife was well aware of what the movie was going to be: “Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she’s massively supportive of Fifty Shades.”

The Northern Irish actor also spoke about speculation that he and co-star Dakota Johnson have no chemistry, saying: “They wouldn’t have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem … whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn’t have cast us.”

It had also been rumoured that Jamie would not be appearing in the upcoming sequels, something his rep has already denied. Despite this, Jamie took the opportunity to assure fans that he WILL star as Christian Grey for the trilogy: “The idea was that we honour the trilogy and do all three.”

Phew – that was a lot of rumour busting for one interview, thanks Jamie!

It’s been three years since Nelly and Ashanti called an end to their 10 year relationship – and now Ashanti is ready to talk.

The couple were notoriously private about their relationship and no cause for their split was announced, but now it seems as if Nelly may have hurt Ashanti in a major way.

The singer appeared on The Meredith Vieira Show earlier today and when her host asked her why she finds it hard to trust, Ashanti replied: “I think sometimes when people have their own insecurities it allows them to act out of character. I’ve been betrayed … I’m not a fan of people being cowards.”

Thankfully, Ashanti added that she has now moved on: “I think it’s really important to know yourself and understand what you want and get it. I’m in a different place right now.”

It sounds as if things ended very badly indeed between these two 00’s stars!

It has been confirmed that Walking Dead actor Jon Bernthal has welcomed his third child with wife, Erin Angle.

It was also revealed that their new arrival, a baby girl, has been named Adeline – how pretty!

Jon starred as Shane Walsh in the hit TV show as well as taking on the role of Brad Bodnick in the Oscar-nominated The Wolf of Wall Street opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.

Their new arrival was born in mid-February, though the news has only been announced today.

Jon and Erin are also parents to two sons, ages 4 and 2.

Congrats to the family on the birth of Adeline, such an exciting time!
