As today is International Men's Day as well as People releasing their World's Sexiest Men Alive, we decided to honour the famous men of Ireland with our own list!

Now, of course while they all have lovely bottoms, we've chosen our top 10:

1. Jamie Dornan
While he may play a serial killer in The Fall, he has also taken the lead role as the much desired Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. And he's OURS. Jamie hails from Holywood in County Down.

2. Michael Fassbender
Coming from the kingdom county of Kerry, Michael has made it big in Hollywood. And it's not hard to see why – look at that face. Acting too, of course…

3. Bressie
Lead singer of The Blizzards and a judge on The Voice of Ireland, Bressie has proved himself amongst the top musicians in the country. Roz Purcell is a lucky gal!

4. Jonathan Rhys Meyers
The Dublin native has a bad boy image and can be a bit bold at times – but those brooding eyes make our knees weak every time!

5. Colin Farrell
Another one of our favourite bad boys, Colin seems to have calmed down a bit, but we'll always remember the time he and Britney were an item. What a dream.

6. Tommy Bowe
What do you mean we're only watching rugby for the men? That's clearly only 3/4 of the reason why.

7. Danny O'Reilly
Well, if he's good enough for Laura Whitmore, he's good enough for us! Plus his ma is Mary Black, which is cool.

8. Niall Horan
Niall may be a little more 'cute' than 'sexy' if we're all honest with ourselves – but we could hardly leave him out now, could we!

9. Robert Sheahan
Based obviously on his role as Darren in Love/Hate rather than as Nathan in Misfits, Robert definitely pulls us in when he's on screen…

10. Cillian Murphy
Cillian has proved himself among the greats in Hollywood in films such as Inception and The Dark Knight Rises as well as on stage. Those eyes though…

Orange Is The New Black star Taryn Manning has been arrested!

The actress allegedly had a mutual restraining order with a former friend but was arrested when a judge decided she had violated the order due to threatening social media posts.

TMZ report that as Taryn was not present for the court hearing, a warrant for her arrest was promptly issued.

Her former friend, Jeanine Heller was previously arrested for similar offences against Taryn.

Taryn plays the role of prison inmate, Pennsatucky on the hit Netflix show Orange is the New Black. Let's hope she can be a little bit nicer than her character is…

It's finally here! The brand new trailer for Disney's Cinderella remake has been released and we LOVE it!

Featuring Downton Abbey's Lily James in the lead role as the Disney princess and Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother, we can't wait for this to hit the big screens.

We also spotted another familiar face form Downton as Sophie McShera, who plays Daisy in the hit TV series stars as one of the evil stepsister, Drizella.

We know we're not meant to sweat the small stuff, but God it's hard sometimes. Frantically searching for that one thing that will pull your entire look together is hugely stressful and that's the bottom line!

If you've ever slid your finger in the crevice of a window sill looking for a hair pin or worn a 1980's headband because you couldn't find a bobbin, then ladies, you're not alone.

Here are just four beauty essentials designed to make us question our memories, vision and sanity.

Bobbins

You purchase a bumper pack of hair bobbins and promise yourself that you will use ONE until it breaks; at which point you will begin using the second bobbin in the pack, guaranteeing yourself enough bobbins from now until your dying day.

One week later, EVERY SINGLE BOBBIN has disappeared into thin air and you’re using an elastic band you found on your boyfriend’s bedroom floor.

Hair clips

Similar scenario to above, but not as easily remedied once you’ve realised that the thirty hair pins you bought three days ago have made a bid for freedom and you desperately need to pin your fringe back before the gym.

Paper clips, do they work? We’ll get back to you on that.

Lip salve

Vaseline, chapstick, carmex, lip balm, lip gloss; if it goes on your lips, you better not become too attached. You spend more time than you’d like to admit searching frantically for lip care while energetically gurning, don't you? The bottom of your bag, the floor of your car, the pocket of your jacket: nope nope, nope!

Where do they GO!

Eyeliner

Due to its shape and size, eyeliner is one of the beauty essentials that manages to escape our clutches on a weekly basis. Hell hath no fury like a woman trying to locate a miniscule black stick in the dark abyss that is her handbag.

Could we put it on a string and attach it to our make-up bag? A quirky mitten-minder type solution, maybe?

We're going to stop here because we're getting stressed.

We love nothing more than a good cocktail night with the girls once the Christmas party season rolls around, but somehow we don't think an ice-cold mojito is going to cut it now that the chilly weather has set in.

We've been trying out a few warming winter recipes to liven up our next evening in… and this Hot Apple Bite is definitely a favourite!

Combining Smirnoff Vodka with festive flavours like apple and brown sugar, it's definitely going to be on our cocktail menu this year.

To make it at home, simply follow the instructions below – the recipe serves one.

Smirnoff Hot Apple Bite

Ingredients

  • 50ml Smirnoff Vodka
  • 100ml apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of apple purée

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan.
  2. Warm gently over a low heat until the sugar has completely dissolved and the liquid is simmering.
  3. Pour into a glass mug.
  4. Garnish with a wedge of apple and top with crushed biscuit.
  5. Enjoy!

Robert Pattison has a new lady in his life – and she’s not going anywhere easily!

FKA Twigs, a highly successful British musician, appeared on USA Today and told how her new relationship has meant she has endured lots of online abuse: “I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it, but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It’s like a hangover. It’s weird. I know that’s not really because of me or what Im doing [but] the positivity that I get from [my relationship] makes the challenging aspects…very worth it.”

Aww, how sweet!

Twigs says she was feeling the wrath of “14-year-old kids that should be in bed” on social media, which was evident from a recent tweet she put out, saying: “I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week … Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it’s unacceptable online.”

The musician has been dating the Twilight star for the past few months, but it certainly sounds like some of his fans haven’t been taking the news of their relationship all that well…

Let's hope things calm down for the couple and they can just enjoy their new relationship!

Irish TV has had some pretty epic bloopers in the past – and we've put our favorites together.

You guys, THIS is why we really pay a TV license.

1. That time Pat Kenny RIPPED up Toy Show tickets because a woman said she didn't want them. We're glad he put her in her place, but we could have taken them…

2. If you haven't seen What's Snots yet, you're in for a treat. Get ready to learn some great quotes that will last you a lifetime. "Where'd ya get your shades?" … "Is it a ladder you go up to the ceiling with?"

3. Sharon is basically the Tony Soprano of RTÉ

4. It's official – this never gets old. "Whash?!"

5. That wouldn't be her kind of thing now, at all at all

6. Poor ol' Pat – he really got an awful time of it, bless him

7. Aaaand, replay!

8. "Thanks a mill"

9. We're just going to leave this here…

10. "No no no no no no no" – the entire country watched from behind their hands…

If you're sick of sitting in front of Netflix every night after work or listlessly flicking through week-old magazines, then you may be in need of a hobby!

With the weather becoming more miserable by the second, we're not going to suggest you take up rollerblading or pole dancing, but why not give one of these five a go?

Yes, they're a bit nerdy, but so what? They're also fun and useful; everything you could want from a hobby you can do from the couch, right?

Knitting
It used be the reserve of our grandmothers, but knitting has taken on a whole new lease of life in recent years! You need look no further than Instagram accounts and Facebook posts to see how many people are proud to boast that the snood they’re rocking is handmade or that their niece is currently sporting the cutest cardigan known to man, all courtesy of their talented auntie or uncle.

Girls, there’s no greater feeling than being complimented on something YOU MADE YOURSELF!

Scrapbooking
Many girls are hoarders; we have boxes FULL of old photos, cards, and random scribblings from our school days stashed around our rooms, but how often do we sit down and go through them? How much easier would it be to stroll down memory lane if all your souvenirs and mementos were in scrapbooks?

Take your time with this hobby, going through years of memorabilia is a mammoth task, but let’s face it, your 2002 Westlife ticket deserves your time and attention!

Photo albums
Like scrapbooking, this deserves time and should be enjoyed! Remember before our lives went digital, we used to get our photos developed? Well, if you’re anything like us you have piles of photos in drawers around your room that need a proper home.

Treat yourself to some lovely albums and take the time to chronicle the photos that meant so much to you once upon a time! How much nicer is it to flip through an album than click on the next shot?

Crosswords
Again, normally the reserve of our parents or grandparents, but there’s a lot to be said for taking twenty minutes every day to challenge yourself. You don’t have to fish around the apartment for a newspaper, simply download a crossword app and get answering!

There’s no feeling quite like filling in that last white box and knowing that you, in no uncertain terms, are a GENIUS.

Decoupage
This is a seriously fun hobby which guarantees a lot of satisfaction. Yes, it sounds like a little bizarre, but all it involves is gluing images of your choice on an object and covering them in layers of glue until you’ve transformed a dull object into something you would proudly display around your place.

Grab an old shoe box, decide on a theme, entirely cover the box with these pictures, cover in layers of PVC glue and voila! Storage boxes that are as cute as anything you’d find in the shops!

Give it a go, ladies, you never know, you could discover knitting is one of your secret talents!

After Vicky Pattison admitted recently that one of the reasons she quit Geordie Shore was to spend more time with her boyfriend, James Morgan, we’re shocked to hear they have split!

The reality TV star told MailOnline that although they have pulled the plug on their relationship, they remain close: “He’s amazing and we still keep in touch but for now we’re done!”

Vicky was surprisingly honest about the break-up, saying to Now magazine that she needed to take this time to concentrate on her career: “I’m so busy and neurotic that we no longer complement each other. This is a pivotal point in my career and if I don’t strike while the iron’s hot, someone else will leave Geordie Shore or TOWIE and take my opportunites.”

Sadly though, she adds that she does miss James: “I miss him so much. He’s a lovely lad, was a great boyfriend … but I need to give him some space.”

Hopefully these two may reunite in the future seeing as Vicky feels so strongly about him still – they were cute together!

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has caused a lot of upset after she used the term ‘n****’ on a recent night out.

The Daily Mail reports that after coming out of a nightclub, the former Big Brother star was asked by a photographer why she used “the n-word” on a previous night to which she replied: “No because I am black … I’m black so I’m allowed to say what I want because I was born from a black mother. I think I need to stop and talk about my heritage.”

The glamour model then reportedly sat on a bench and shockingly said: “Let’s sit and talk about the fact I’m a n*****.”

Aisleyne has yet to comment on the controversial incident.

People on Twitter have been quick to comment on the incident, with many very unimpressed at Aisleyne's use of the offensive term:

Something tells us she woke up with The Fear the next day…

We've all been there. Your friend has tearfully announced that her and her other half are no more and it's YOUR job to make it right. No pressure!

Not always easy, not always rewarding, but always, always necessary!

Here are ten tips on how to to deal with post-break up territory.

The Do's

Do buy her chocolate and sit with her all weekend if that’s what she wants, but ONLY if that’s what she wants.

Do listen to her rose-tinted version of her relationship, no matter what you think. Telling her that it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be is not going to do you, or her, any favours.

Do remind her that it will get better. Yes, you’ll get a glare or balled-up tissue thrown at you, but your words will resonate with her later when she’s on her own.

Do organise some things that will take her mind off the situation. Not everyone responds to a break-up by wanting to go out, get thrashed and score a randomer. Cinema trips, pizza dinners and ice cream fests are the kinds of girlie evenings that will, whether she wants to believe it or not, make her feel better.

Do remember that it’s OK to take a step back every now and again and let another pal take up the slack. You’re not being a bad friend, you’re simply looking after yourself at the same time.

The Don'ts

Don't badmouth him. A few harmless jokes about his appalling choice in footwear wouldn't go astray though! She may be heartbroken, but let's call a spade a spade.

Don't bring up times she criticised him in a bid to make her feel better. It definitely won’t. In fact, it may make her heart break a little bit more.

Don't compare her current situation with any from your past. She won’t see the similarities, no matter how glaring they are, and she might feel like she’s not entitled to vent.

Don't forget to remind her how fantastic SHE is. These situations too often focus on the absent boyfriend and we forget to focus on his great SHE was before him, and will be, after him!

Don't get so bogged down in her woes that you feel like you’re carrying the burden for the two of you. You can’t be a support if you’re mentally and emotionally drained.

And remember, she'd do the same for you in a heartbeat.
