Twerking as dead as Robin Thicke's career after Miley Cyrus agreed in an interview that it's “so yesterday”. Responding to the interview question, the singer enthusiastically replied “I'm glad you know that, because some people are living in the past.”

With twerking gone, what will Miley do now? She has that all worked out. Introducing the 'Nae Nae'.

"It's called the Nae Nae," Miley told the Australian host. "and you have to do it!"

"I keep trying to start it at all my shows and nobody's really doing it back at me, but you guys have got it! I just don't think its make its way to Australia yet!"

The Nae Nae isn't Miley's creation – though like twerking, she is sure to put her stamp on it. The move was invented by Hip Hop foursome WeAreToonz. The group showcased the move in a video uploaded last year titled 'Drop the #NaeNae'.

The dance is inspired by a character called Sheneneh Jenkins in an obscure 90s sitcom.

“It’s really just based on a ratchet girl in the club dancing kind of funny and the best girl to describe it is Sheneneh from Martin,” WeAreToonz member CalLamar explained.

Want to learn how to do it? WeAreToonz will show you in the video below.

TV host Jonathan Ross is terrified about the threatened Ebola outbreak, and he's not taking any chances.

Appearing on Loose Women, Jonathan revealed that he now has a stock pile of medical equipment at home in case the disease reaches British shores. He doesn't seem to have mentioned this to his wife however.

"I was opening up boxes downstairs and there were some surgical masks and gloves, first of all (my wife) thought ‘OK, we’re not playing that game!’”

"I bought that, I got that and I’ve also got hand gel, just to be safe.

"We are just up the road from the Royal Free Hospital if it starts to spread… I’d rather have it than not have it.”

The chat show host has no worries about wearing surgical masks in the street, putting safety above appearances.

“Yes what’s the worst..? You’re going to look a bit silly, so what?” he replied. “Wouldn’t you rather look a bit silly?”

"Even me coming on with this flu bug, I’m happy to be here, thrilled to be here but am trying not to touch anyone because it’s so easy to spread stuff.”

"You don’t want to make people ill and this is only going to give you a few bad days but that could end it all.”

X Factor contestant Stephanie Nala has come forward about the horrific abuse she has received on Twitter since first appearing in the show – getting over 200 death threats from “rival gangs”.

Stephanie had trouble with girl gangs in school, to the point where police had to be called to intervene.

“When I was 14 I used to hang around with a girl in the older years, and our group had problems with a gang from a different school,” Stephanie said.

“There were times when I had to leave school early because there were a load of girls waiting for me outside the gates. It got so bad that the police were called once.”

Since the 19-year-old singer got through to the X Factor live shows however, she has feared for her life.

“Since I sang on the live show last week I’ve been sent death threats,” Stephanie reported.

“I’ve had 200 messages on Twitter from people saying that they’re going to knife me, and that I’m going to get what’s coming to me. They’ve threatened my family too.”

“One message, from someone who lives near me, said I was only on X Factor because of what I look like — and when I leave that can be changed.”

X Factor has reported these terrifying threats to Twitter, who advise anyone receiving abusing messages to report them immediately.

In its attempts to move as far away from the hit Chris Nolan interpretation as possible, the new Batman reboot has made another unusual casting choice.

Joining Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenburg and Henry Cavill will be none other than Jena Malone, who has been cast in the usual male role of Batman's sidekick Robin.

Jena, who plays Johanna Mason in the blockbuster Hunger Games movies, gave fans a hint of her upcoming role when she posted a picture of her hair dyed flaming red. She didn't give the secret away though, just commenting: “Drastic times call for drastic measures.”

Will this sideways move pay off?

Rochelle Humes had plenty to smile about today.

The Saturdays star has been unveiled as a co-presenter of this year’s Children In Need Appeal show.

It’s a big step for the singer, who has been dipping her toe in the presenting pool for the past year, with a number of appearances alongside husband Marvin on This Morning.

The 25-year-old completes a panel of five high-profile celebrities who will front this year’s show, with Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly, Nick Grimshaw and Terry Wogan already confirmed for the gig.

Mother-of-one Rochelle couldn’t hide her delight as she took to her Twitter account earlier today to share the news, writing: “[Excited] to announce that I’ve joined the presenting team. So excited to be a part of it and raise lots of money.”

It’s been a busy few months for Rochelle, who has been balancing being a mum to daughter Alaia-Mai with a number of big projects.

As well as setting off on The Saturdays’ greatest hits tour, the singer has also been promoting her clothing line with online fashion boutique Very.co.uk.

She certainly has her hands full!

We’ll be looking forward to seeing her in action, and hopefully helping to raise lots of money for a very worthy cause.

The Iggy Azalea divorce debacle just took a nasty turn.

Last week it was revealed that the singer’s former manager, Jefe Wine, was planning on bringing divorce proceedings against her, and now Iggy has revealed that extent of drama that’s going on behind-the-scenes.

Taking to her Twitter this evening, the Work singer blasted Wine and his lawyer, who has supposedly threatened to tell the media that she gave him an STD.

Well, Jefe, she beat you to it on that front.

In a series of tweets, Iggy revealed all, writing: “My lawyer agreed to be served “divorce” papers but they want to hire someone to serve me in person, probably so it can be another TMZ story.”

“I was also told yesterday via his lawyer if I do not settle out of court, they will go to the press and say I gave him an STD, what’s next?” she continued.

Alarmingly, the 24-year-old added: “I’ve avoided Texas entirely for the last five years. When I do go now, I have a police escort and two armed bodyguards, evidently for good reason.”

While the drama is clearly taking its toll on the singer – no thanks to Snoop Dogg for mocking her on social media – Iggy admitted that since details of Jefe’s claims became public, she has received a lot of “support”.

Let’s hope next week is a better one for Iggy!

There’s been quite a few nostalgic throwbacks recently to Vanity Fair’s classic ‘Raining Teens’ cover of 2003, which boasted nine of the biggest up-and-coming young female stars of the time.

With the likes of Amanda Bynes, the Olsens, Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan gracing the front page, it seems like the most glamorous photo shoot in the world.

But actress Evan Rachel Wood, who was one of the chosen nine, has revealed her horror at being treated like “meat” during the ordeal.

Opening up on the darker and more disturbing side of Hollywood, the actress took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the shoot.

“I was almost in tears after this shoot. They tried that dress on me, I wasn’t comfortable but they told me there was no time…cause everyone else took up too much time with their fittings,” began the Thirteen star.

The 27-year-old goes on to recount how she wasn’t allowed to wear flat shoes, and how the girls were then “all lined up, stared at and approved”.

She added: “I was 15 and felt for the first time my identity being erased and the pressure…to shut up and do what you are told. I felt like meat.”

We always looked back fondly on this iconic cover page. It just goes to show that you never know what’s really going on behind-the-scenes.

We love Lady Gaga and Madonna individually for what they have done for pop music, but it seems that the two stars just cannot seem to get along.

The latest round of their cat fight was launched by Gaga, who has slammed Madonna for not reaching out to younger artists.

The 28-year-old Artpop singer made the dig during a recent interview, in which she was asked who her biggest musical influences were.

The quirky star responded by naming legends David Bowie, Queen, Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson among her idols, adding: “I would like to say Madonna, but let me tell you something – if I was an established artist, I would love to help younger artists.”

When the interviewer (rather hilariously) asked Gaga whether she meant that “Madonna has no soul”, the singer coyly responded: “You said it, not me!”

Catty much?

This is just the latest twist in the two singers’ long-running feud.

Earlier this year it appeared that Madonna sent Gaga a not-so-subtle message in her track Heartbreak City. Given how similarities have frequently been drawn between Born This Way and Express Yourself, many believed that when Madonna sings, “You’re a copycat, where is my royalty?” she is directing it at Gaga.

What will she have to say this time around, we wonder?
