Actress Vinessa Shaw is being sued after allegedly hitting two pedestrians with her car.

The star, who is best known for her roles in Hocus Pocus and Ray Donovan, was reportedly driving through Hollywood when she struck two women, knocking them to the ground.

According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Maridalia Chepi-Nolasco and Anastasia Gregorio Arce have brought charges against Shaw, claiming that they sustained “severe injuries” as a result of the incident.

The star’s response to the claim has not been revealed as of yet.

Shaw began her acting career with a role in the horror movie Home Sweet Home, but is perhaps most recognisable for playing the character Allison in the cult Halloween film Hocus Pocus, alongside Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The actress appeared most recently on TV screens in the US crime drama series Ray Donovan, in which she played the role of Kate McPherson.

Another day, another drama for Lindsay Lohan.

The actress and her brother Michael are reportedly being sued by a tech developer, who claims they robbed his website idea to create their own app.

In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Fima Potik claims that the Lohans had initially agreed to work with him on ‘Spotted Friend’, an app which allows you to see and purchase the clothes your favourite celebrities are wearing.

However, after talks regarding ownership fell through, the siblings launched their own app, Vigme, which is uncannily similar to Potik’s original idea.

Potik is now suing the Lohans for a whopping $60 million for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and loyalty, and unfair competition.

Naturally, the Lohans are fighting the charges, and if their lawyer Ravi Batra is anything to go by, they are ready for the fight.

“I look forward to holding Fima’s feet to the legal fire and hope he is wearing fireproof clothing all the way to the appeals court,” said Batra.

It looks like it’s going to be an interesting case.

Being a girl is so much fun sometimes. The daily creativity when it comes to our style, hair and make-up, the joy of shopping for new products and the bliss of absolutely nailing our winged eyeliner. Yep, being a girl is wonderful.

Being a girl is also totally gross. It can be vile, disgusting and gag-worthy in some cases, but we never talk about it that, do we?

Let’s start- it’ll be a bonding experience!

Fake tan removal
You can spend day after day in the shower scrubbing at your skin, but the crooks of your elbows and the back of your legs still make you look like a scaly orange swamp creature.

The bath is ringed with brown and orange gunge, you’ve worn out two shower puffs and you’ve had to call in the big guns- the industrial loofah, but STILL, remnants of tan remain on your skin. WHAT GIVES!
 

You finally emerge squeaky clean from the shower on the 6th day. You’re back to your classic milky self. Just in time for this weekend’s application! And so the cycle continues.

Hair removal
Blood, hair and rashes. Need we actually say more? This beauty regime is rife with grossness.

If you’re not trailing blood down your soaped up legs, you’re tentatively picking hair from a rusty razor because you forgot to stock up (admit it) or  you’re washing what looks like the remains of a yeti down your plughole while delicately gagging. And let’s not even get started on bikini line upkeep. All fours, anyone?
 

Nailed it! Oh, did you?
Why do you keep repainting your toenails in that glossy plum colour? Is it because you genuinely like it, or is it because your toenails are so yellow and discoloured that leaving them au naturel makes you throw up in your mouth just a little? Yeah, we thought so. Can’t kid a kidder.

Getting Shellac done makes us feel really pampered, and hell, we deserve a little pampering. Leaving the salon, your nails have never looked better.
 

Two weeks later, our nails look like we spent much of the week breaking rocks with our bare hands. Whatever happened to the promise of getting our shellac professionally removed we wonder, as we absentmindedly peel and flick our nails at the computer screen, much to our workmate’s disgust.
 

Now, don't we all feel a little closer to each other?

So Jemima Khan has just won Halloween, hands down.

The star pulled out all the stops last night as she headed off to a UNICEF charity event, dressing up in an amazing gorilla and cage costume.

The 40-year-old rocked up to the event in a wooden cage, knees tucked up to her chest, while a scary giant gorilla held her captive.

Could that be any more epic?

The star had gone to a lot of effort for her special appearance, and played up to the occasion on her social media.

Tweeting pictures of the fantastic costume, the socialite wrote: “Halloween! Off to UNICEF gig for Syrian refugees….On my way in a hearse…”

And if you thought that her big entrance was just for the awaiting cameras, you would be wrong!

The star was pictured still wearing her amazing costume late into the night, sitting at her table, in her cage, while chatting to other guests!

Jemima wasn’t the only one to put in the effort for London bash, with actor Hugh Grant showing up in a goat mask, and Guy and Rocco Ritchie dressing up as Breaking Bad characters Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

Well done guys, amazing!

Amanda Bynes was pictured out and about in Los Angeles just a few hours ago, despite the fact that her psychiatric hold was meant to last at least another month.

The actress was admitted to a medical facility in Pasadena, California just over three weeks ago, and earlier this week doctors asked the court's permission for her to be held there for another 30 days.

However, in the early hours of this morning Amanda was pictured by TMZ walking down Sunset Strip looking for a hotel. In the photos, the former child star can be seen wearing dark sunglasses and a large black coat. She was also snapped eating in a diner in the area. 

The star's doctors requested the extension on her psychiatric hold because they believed she was still "very ill" and unable to care for herself. But it's now being reported that the judge did not agree Amanda was unstable enough to be held for another month and so he ended the extension after just a few days.

Even though she has been released from the facility, Amanda is still being kept reined in somewhat by her parents. They have been granted control of her finances again, after filing court documents which stated she had been spending "alarming amounts" of cash and that she was a "substantial risk" to herself and others.

Vannesa Hudgens is no stranger to bizarre new looks when it comes to her hair – but she's really made a big change this time!

Things kicked off this summer when the actress swapped her dark brown locks for bleached blonde, before trading that in for a powder blue hue. 

Later this year she got rid of her flowing extensions and swapped the blue for a traffic light red. Whatever about the colour, though, we think this newest look is her best yet! The High School Musical actress has now chopped off her long, wavy locks for a blunt, shoulder-skimming bob. She was pictured in Paris earlier this week with the new style- though she's kept the red tones, too.

We love this look – very Lauren Conrad!

Vanessa has spoken before about her ever-changing style and how she loves to mix things up. "My style goes from like really bohemian, flowy, to a little more gypsy-esque with vibrant colors and lots of jewellery," she said in a recent interview.

Before leaving Paris she posted this cute selfie to Instagram, showing off her beautiful new bob.

They grow up so fast! It seems like only yesterday we were watching Mary-Kate and Ashley on Nickelodeon, and now one of the twins has apparently tied the knot!

Mary-Kate and her banker fiancé Olivier Sarkozy were spotted wearing gold bands on their ring fingers as they ate lunch in the Hamptons recently, a sight which immediately set tongues wagging. 

And a "well-connected source" has now confirmed that the happy couple have indeed made things official. Speaking to Lucky magazine, the insider revealed that the pair got married in a top-secret ceremony sometime over the last few days.

Just a few family members were in attendance at the hush-hush wedding, it has been reported. MK and Olivier's reps have yet to confirm or deny the news, but those gold rings look like a pretty sure sign to us!

The couple, who share a townhouse in New York, got engaged back in March after almost two and a half years together. 

Although they did receive some heat at the beginning of their relationship for their 17 year age gap, it seems older men are somewhat of an Olsen tradition. Ashley's currently dating director Bennett Miller who is 19 years her senior.

If 27-year-old Mary-Kate did indeed marry her sweetheart, she'll also become stepmother to his two children, aged 14 and 11, from a previous marriage.

Remember when a trip to the cinema was the easier option? When you didn’t want to wear five inch heels or have a pint slopped down your arm, then the cinema was the Get Out Of Jail Free card. You’re still going OUT, you’re just not going OUT OUT. Everybody wins!

So when did the easier option suddenly become a complete head melt? Have you ever flopped into your cinema seat and felt utterly shattered by everything that went before? Yeah, that’s  because you’re experiencing Movie Goer Fatigue.

Let’s take a look at the stages, shall we?

Scheduling
You really want a trip to the flicks, but trying to get yourself, your significant other and a few friends in the local multiplex at a time that suits everyone is harder than making a 9am lecture.

Pilates, late shifts and football training have been conspiring against you for weeks and you’re starting to realise the company isn’t as important as getting to see the actual damn film!

Seating
Front, middle or back? It sounds like a fairly straightforward question, so why do you break out in a sweat and forget how to speak English. “Ehhh…baaaiiiddle?”, you reply while your friends nod in agreement. Flawless.

It doesn’t stop there though. VIP seats? Hell no, we’re not made of money. That won’t stop us from trying to sneak into them later though.

Snacks
The deals. We never know if we’re getting a good bargain or not. Do we NEED nachos, popcorn, a drink AND a family-sized bag of Minstrals? Yes, we do. It’s economics.
 

Damn, Ben& Jerry’s stand! I don’t have enough hands!

Drinks
God forbid, you head to a cinema with a bar. We’ve missed more than one movie because our friend’s drunk on Pinot noir impression of her boss was too good to interrupt.

Should we go in now? Trailers have to be over, right? Nah, one more round!

Toilet breaks
Should you go now, just in case? But you don’t NEED to go now. Although you ARE about to drink what looks like a bucket of diet coke, shouldn’t you prepare yourself? Yes, no, yes, no.
 

Look at that queue! No!

And then…
You’ve made it! You’re actually pushing open the doors of Screen #7 and are about to see the film you’ve been banging on about for weeks. Careful now, while you spill your drink, trip up the stairs and attempt to sit in the lap of some oul lad. This better be worth it.

Joshua Jackson opens up about the sex scenes involved in playing Cole in hit new series The Affair. The thirty-six year-old actor and Diane Kruger’s other half has revealed that filming the particularly graphic sex scenes for the show is not dissimilar to filming fight scenes. Joshua says: “It’s aggressive, but the truth is it’s just like doing a fight scene as an actor. You’re not really beating someone up in a fight scene. The sex is aggressive.”

Joshua admits that these scenes can leave both actors feeling a little unsettled so he tries to be as reasonable about the whole process as possible, saying: “You’re putting a woman in a very vulnerable position when you’re doing scenes like this so the more upfront about it you can be and the more choreographed it can be, the less opportunity there is for awkwardness or anything else bad to happen in that space. For a woman to be completely exposed on a film set is an uncomfortable space.”
 

Perhaps Joshua’s approach to these scenes makes it easy to believe the former Dawson’s Creek star is quite chivalrous and he thinks he inherited his mother’s version of feminism, saying: “You can be simultaneously kind and chivalrous without being patronising. I feel like there’s a degree of grace with which you can live your life when it comes to the opposite sex and you should.”

If our mum had starred in one of the greatest sitcoms of all time, you’d be pretty sure we’d be interested. Friends, the show whose re-runs we never tire of, spawned catchphrases, songs and hairstyles and yet, Lisa Kudrow’s 16-year-old son Julian has no interest in watching the performances which made his mum a household name. We'd be even MORE interested, if she was pregnant with us during filming, like she was with Julian!

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel in a recent interview, the hilarious fifty-one-year-old actress revealed that her son ‘loves everybody else’, but isn’t overly impressed by the quirky, coffee-house singer Phoebe Buffay. The mum-of-one laughed off Jimmy’s concerns and reassurances about disinterested offspring and was more than happy to reminisce about the show which ran for ten years and brought the lives of six New Yorkers into our living rooms every week.
 

Coming soon to Netflix, die-hard Friends fans can binge-watch the sitcom which premiered twenty years ago. TWENTY YEARS AGO!  (How old does that make us feel?) Maybe if Julian schedules a duvet day, three takeaways and twelve hours of non-stop Friends, he’ll soon see what he’s missing!
