We all remember the sky-blue wig Amanda Bynes wore to court last year, right?

Well, it looks like she was in the mood for an equally dramatic new look when she popped to the hairdressing salon last night.

The star, who has been causing quite the stir on Twitter in the past few weeks, took to the social media site to share her dramatic new hairdo with her followers.

Posting a photo of herself with bright violet locks, the 28-year-old wrote: “I dyed my hair violet. I’m not sure if I like it, and this is a blurry pic but here it is!”

We kind of love the colour, actually.

It’s also refreshing to see a tweet from the Hairspray star that isn’t referring to her hatred of her parents, or her money woes.

The actress hit the headlines once again this week after being spotted sleeping on a couch in a mall. She later took to Twitter to inform her followers that she couldn’t afford a hotel to stay in, as her parents still have control over her finances through their conservatorship.

It has been an emotional week for the lovely Selena Gomez.

As well as releasing the tear-jerking video for her new song, The Heart Wants What It Wants, the singer has been speaking candidly about her deep connection with her ex-boyfriend.

Appearing on US radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the 22-year-old had nothing but positive things to say about the Biebs.

In a rather heartbreaking admission, she said: “I’m upset when he’s upset. I’m happy when he’s happy. I don’t want anything bad ever to happen to him. It hurts me. That’s all.”

She added: “I support him. I think I always will.”

Pass the tissues, now.

It looked like Justin and Selena were back on for good, after confirming they were giving their relationship another go during the summer.

However, they split for the umpteenth time after Justin was spotted enjoying a lunch date with reality star and model Kendall Jenner.

Will they eventually get their happy ever after?

We love Cara Delevingne for her unabashed honesty, but we’re thinking this may be taking things a little too far.

Rumour has it that the model has been dating actor Jack O’Connell for a while now, and her latest saucy Instagram snap appears to confirm it.

Cara only went and posted a photo of a neck sporting a set of love bites, captioning the snap: “Love bites #fittybum”.

Her followers were quick to put two and two together after noticing two moles that look pretty much identical to the distinctive marks on actor Jack’s neck.

We’ve heard of PDA, but this is on another level altogether!

Speculation that Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne are headed for divorce has been rife in recent months.

While both have been pictured minus their wedding rings however, Nickelback frontman Chad has finally set the story straight.

Appearing on Entertainment Tonight Canada, the singer rubbished claims that his marriage is in trouble.

“You know, I get to hear all the rumour mill stuff. I find it very amusing,” said the 39-year-old.

It seems that even the couple’s family have been affected by the constant speculation, with Chad admitting that his father grew concerned for the state of his marriage to the Complicated singer.

“You know my dad calls me up and he’s just like, ‘I haven’t slept in two days, what’s going on?’” said Chad, adding, “I’m like, ‘Dad, you’re not buying all this crap, are you?’”

Kroeger started dating Lavigne back in 2012, after working with her on her fifth album. The couple got engaged after one month of dating, going on to tie the knot in a French castle in July 2013.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s new ‘I don’t care’ attitude is winning her no fans, that’s for sure.

While we’re waiting with baited breath for Nadine Coyle’s response to being labelled as “full of sh*t”, one person who has made their feelings on Cheryl’s cattiness known is Olly Murs.

Everyone was surprised when Cheryl booted X Factor contestant Monica Michael from this year’s competition, criticising her for choosing one of Olly’s songs, Troublemaker, for her audition.

“I know what you’re capable of, I don’t understand why you would do an Olly Murs song,” said the judge at the time.

Now, Olly has hit back at Cheryl over the incident, saying that it left him “annoyed”.

The former X Factor host told Attitude magazine: “I was a bit annoyed because I think the crowd were loving it and she [Monica] did a really good job.”

He added: “It’s the best I’ve seen someone sing Troublemaker. Obviously Cheryl didn’t like it. I don’t think she likes the song.”

If she keeps going the way she has been, we don’t think she’ll remain the nation’s sweetheart for very much longer!

Remember the days you’d pack up your pyjamas, your Dream Phone and the 90’s Irish equivalent of a Slam Book and head en masse to your friend’s house for a night of R&R, sex talk and movies?

The R&R ended because no one had the patience to ‘manicure’ more than two nails, the sex chat would stop because no one knew what the hell they were talking about, but the movies never failed us. Thank God.

So here ladies are five classic flicks for when sleeping in your own house was just not an option.

Never Been Kissed
Chances are the majority of pyjama clad girls in the living room hadn’t been either, so Drew managed to make all of us feel better about our glasses, braces and training bras. AAA cup, anyone?

If Josie Grossie managed to snag a hottie like him in the end, then there’s no stopping the rest of us, right?! Ah, the innocence of youth.

10 Things I Hate About You
Whether you were Team Bianca or Team Kat, fancied Cameron or lusted after Patrick there was definitely a little something for everyone in this 90’s classic.

We cringed alongside Kat when she read her poem aloud, we discovered a new-found respect for our parent’s music with Patrick's version of ‘Cant Take My Eyes Off You’ and we learned a little something about black underwear we never knew before. Thanks for the info, Bianca.

I Know What You Did Last Summer
No slumber party was complete without a pee-your-pants inducing horror flick. Scream was so passé by the time we hit we hit our stride and did some serious slumber party’ing (OK fine we couldn’t handle Ghostface, but no one needed to know that) so we went for the next best thing.

1997 slasher flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer packed a serious punch and having eye candy like Freddie Prinze Jnr and Ryan Phillipe as leads didn’t hurt either. Christ, what was that noise?

Stepmom
Much like a horror is a given at any sleepover, so too is any flick including Julia Roberts and bonus points if you cry like a baby behind a frilled, floral couch cushion. Yep, Stepmom had it all.
 

Julia, tears and snowblowing. Oh we know ALL about snowblowing now! High five!

Thirteen
Woah, woah, woah! Evan Rachel Wood’s portrayal of troubled 13-year-old Tracy Freeland in this 2002 drama made us feel thankful our lives were as vanilla as they were. We wanted to press the film into our parent’s hands, admit we bunked off PE and tell them to watch this before they went ballistic on us.

 

Jeez, we thought ditching afternoon classes to watch Loose Women was living dangerously.

Nick Jonas is ALL about sex these days. The 22-year-old actor and musician, who shot to fame as part of The Jonas Brothers, has revealed in a candid interview with Attitude magazine just how much sex means to him.

The young star who once dated pop star Miley Cyrus admitted that he thinks: “Sex is such an important part of a healthy life, in the sense that it’s such an intrinsic part of who you are.”

Nick, who recently filmed a very explicit sex scene for TV show Kingdom, has left many fans a little stunned by his upfront approach to sex and all it entails.

Elaborating on the subject, Nick suggests that: “When your sex life is not healthy, you resort to other things as an outlet.” We’re not quite sure what Nick means by that one. Maybe he's referring to chocolate. In that case, we’re definitely with him there.

Or MAYBE he means when there’s a lack of sex, you just resort to a little crotch-grabbing. Nick did, after all, give a video tutorial on how to do the perfect crotch grab recently. Something we could all do with learning, surely.

At least he has the tutorials to occupy himself if all else fails.

It’s Friday night and the last thing you want to do is sit in front of the telly watching The Late Late Show. Again.  But you’re broke. So what’s a girl to do?

Well you don’t need to be flashing the cash to have a good time with your friends – here are a few things you can do that will guarantee a good night:

Have a movie night
Get everyone to bring a bag of something and order a pizza. Instead of heading to the DVD store to rent a movie, just get one off Netflix. Even if you don’t have it we’re pretty sure at least one of your friends does…

Have a natter
Invite the girls over for tea or a glass of wine and a natter. You don’t need to go out and spend a fortune on an expensive bottles of wine either – Lidl have very reasonably priced ones. A few crisps and you’re sorted for a night of girly gossip.

Board game night
When was the last time you sat down and played a board game with your family, never mind your friends? It might sound a little cheesy but we guarantee you will have a laugh – just make sure you keep the competitive streak in check.

Bake off
Be a little creative and have a bake off. It doesn’t have to be anything really complicated – biscuit cake is always a winner.

Just don’t drink
If your friends are heading out and you’re really sick of missing out on the fun just be the designated driver. And the best part? You wake up without a hangover!

A rapper, known as Big Paybacc, was gunned down yesterday while eating at a Palmdale branch of fast food giant, McDonalds in California. The rapper, whose real name is Habeeb Ameer Zekajj, was known for his YouTube videos and 2011 hit 'Gangster Luv'.

The incident which took place at lunchtime yesterday is currently under investigation, but witnesses have said that no altercation took place prior to the murder. Speaking about the gunman, the LA County Sheriff's Department Lt John Corina has said: "He had something against the individual. It wasn't like he shot up the McDonald's. He just shot him and left."

Big Paybacc's girlfriend Jessica Jefferson expressed her outrage at the nature of the killing, saying: "For them to be that bold to run up to someone in a McDonald's in daylight, in front of people, kids you know, and to just take some kind of vengeance on somebody, it’s, it’s inhumane."

The 38-year-old father-of-three had plans to move in with his girlfriend and Jessica said of her deceased boyfriend: "Everybody loves him and he's a good rapper. He has so many followers and people who stand behind him. He really is a good, solid person."

What a truly shocking incident.

It looks like Nick Grimshaw of Radio One fame really knows how to create a romantic atmosphere for his guests if today's announcement is anything to go by!

Interviewing Andy Jordan and co-star Binky Felstead of hit reality TV show Made in Chelsea, Nick was witness to the first MIC marriage proposal!

Discussing the longevity of the show as well as the romantic up and downs experienced by most cast members, the 30-year-old host suggested that Andy and Binky should tie the knot, and neither were too thrown by the suggestion either!

Andy told the stunning brunette: "I would marry you. Of all the girls on the show I think I would marry Binky first. Oh my god, should I propose on Radio 1? Binky, I've been thinking about this for a while and I'd like to marry you. Will you be my wife?"
 

 

We're sure listeners were on the edge of their seats waiting to hear her response, so may have been a little disappointed by the 24-year-old's nonplussed reply of " Ah yeah, go on then."
It's still a yes though, right?

The 24-year-old went on to serenade his wife-to-be with a rendition of his recent song 'Flirty'.

Ok, so we know they were ony messing around, but we think there may be more to this than meets the eye as the pair looked very cosy before going live-on-air with Andy placing kisses on Binky's cheek while also indulging in one or two selfies together, and Andy HAS been saying he's on the look-out for love.

It looks like we have another X Factor romance on our hands.

While reports have claimed that Lauren Platt has her eye on One Direction star Niall Horan, word on the street is that love is in the air for her and fellow contestant Charlie George.

An insider has claimed that there is definitely more going on here than friendship, despite the fact that Lauren is already in a relationship.

The source told the Daily Star: “I wasn’t shocked. I think that everyone around could see that blossoming.”

Romance rumours emerged last week, with a separate source claiming that Lauren and Charlie had been seen sneaking into each other’s rooms at night.

While the pair slammed the rumours, stating that their relationship was nothing more than a “supportive friendship”, it seems like there could be more than meets the eye.
