The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to welcome their first child into the world in the coming months. Picking a baby name is one of the biggest decisions any new parents will face and it’s no different for Harry and Meghan.

There’s even more pressure on the pair as the world will be waiting to hear what name the beloved couple pick for their baby.

Many people believe they will pick Diana if they have a daughter, after Harry’s late-mum, however, new reports have seen a spike in one girls name and we adore it.

Bookmaker Coral has found that Victoria is officially the front-runner if former Suits actress Meghan gives birth to a baby girl.

Victoria has been a popular name with the royals for generations and is a perfect option for Harry and Meghan’s first born.

The name Victoria is the Latin word for 'victory' or 'conquer' and is used as the feminine form corresponding to the name Victor.

Victoria was the name of the goddess of victory in Roman mythology.

The name is the current favourite at 8-1, followed by Diana at 10-1 and Alice at 12-1.

If the Duke and Duchess welcome a boy it is believed they will call him Albert. However, other reports claim Harry is hoping to honour his grandfather Prince Philip by picking Philip as his son’s moniker.

Albert is currently at 10-1. Other popular choices include Arthur and Alfred.

We are so excited for Harry and Meghan to become parents. There’s no doubt they’ll pick the perfect name for their baby boy or girl when the time comes.

Prince Harry’s days of partying are well and truly behind him. The dad-to-be decided to give up alcohol as a mark of respect to pregnant wife Meghan Markle, and now he has made another major changed to his diet.

It is understood that the Duchess of Sussex has encouraged Harry to follow a healthier lifestyle.

As part of the new regime, Harry can’t drink tea or coffee.

According to the Express, the lifestyle changes have had a major impact on Harry’s health and wellbeing.

He is no longer the wild, booze-loving prince he once was, “Now his new regime doesn’t make him the most entertaining party guest in the world, but he’s definitely more chilled and relaxed.”

Since marrying the former Suits actress, Harry has been living a healthier life. “All she [Meghan] did was show him there’s another way to live and he’s become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed their first Christmas together this year as a newlywed couple.

The pair attended Christmas day service at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, before spending the rest of the day with the royal family.

On St Stephen's Day however, there was a surprise in store. Despite previous report that Meghan had banned Harry from partaking in the Traditional Royal Boxing Day Hunt, the pair were in attendance.

Harry joined his brother William on the hunt at Wood Farm, with Meghan and Kate Middleton joining them for lunch following the hunt.

The couples enjoyed a light lunch of salads and cold cuts.

It was widely reported that Meghan had banned Harry from participating in the hunt due to her love of animals, as she is an animal rights activist.

'An insider told The Sun: “William and Harry spent the whole day on the shoot.'

'Kate and Meghan joined them for lunch with the Queen and the rest of the Royal party.'

The Duke of Edinburgh did not take part in the hunt but he and the Queen also joined the party for lunch after the trek.

Harry did not attend the hunt last year, on what was believed to be Meghan's wishes at the time.

On Christmas Day, Meghan joined her husband Prince Harry, and brother-in-law Prince William, as well as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cambridge for the annual church service at Sandringham Church.

Rumour has it that our favourite royals have picked out a baby name!

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were expecting, the public have packed into the bookies to predict their baby’s name.

However, a recent rise in the bets suggest that the baby name has been leaked.

The surge in bets came after the royal family gathered for Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.

So we can only assume that the couple shared their top two name picks with the family and someone present passed the information on without permission.

Which names topped the list?

Bookmakers Coral revealed that Victoria is the most popular name on the list with the odds 8-1.

As far as boy names go, Albert and Phillip are the most likely winners with the odds 10-1.

However, others seem to think that the royal couple will go with a more sentimental name.

Diana, after Prince Harry’s late mother, is at 10-1 at the bookies.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead told OK! Magazine: “It won’t be long now until the latest Royal baby is welcomed into the family, and the name is always a popular thing for punters to bet on.

“At the moment it is Victoria that leads the way and is our favourite to be the name of Harry and Meghan’s first child, whilst famous Royal names Diana and Philip have also been popular in the betting.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will spend their first Christmas together his year as newly weds – and with a baby on the way, it's sure to be extra special.

The couple have been travelling the world together on a number of foreign engagements, but there is one very British tradition than Meghan is not so keen on.

According to The Sunday Express, Meghan does not want Prince Harry to partake in this year's traditional  Royal Family’s Boxing Day pheasant shoot.

According to repots, Harry is to respect Meghan's wishes, and not participate in the hunt.

This will be the second time in over 20 years that Prince Harry will not be taking part.

Harry did not take part last year, once again because of the wishes of his then-fiancee.

Last year, The Sun reported that an informant told them: ‘The Boxing Day shoot was always going to be a tricky issue.’

‘Harry loves it and has always been out there on Boxing Day.'

'But if it means breaking with long-standing royal traditions to avoid upsetting her, so be it.'

It is believed that Meghan is against the hunt as she sees it as cruelty towards animals.

Meghan is known to be extremely fond of animals and is very much against all bloodsports.

She also refuses to wear or promote fur, considering it an animal rights issue.

The couple are set to spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham House in Norfolk, England for Christmas Day festivities.

While rumours have been circling about a royal feud, nothing has been confirmed just yet.

However, Kensington Palace has spoken out in response, saying that this claim is untrue.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the palace said Prince William and Kate and Prince Harry and Meghan will be spending the holiday together.

But while it was confirmed that the fab four would spend the day together, the palace could not say whether they would continue the celebrations side-by-side or go there separate ways afterwards.

The happy couples spent last year’s Christmas together during which they reportedly had a fantastic time.

There is no doubt that the Queen is overjoyed to spend the holiday with her beloved grandsons and granddaughters-in-law.

Last month, Kate Middleton shut down the gossip when she gushed about Meghan and Harry’s baby.

It seems she is happier than ever for her sister-in-law and can’t wait to meet the family’s newest arrival.

“It’s such a special time to have little kiddies and a cousin for George, Charlotte and Louis,” Kate said.

“It’s really special.”

Kensington Palace wanted to make sure that the public were not misinformed and was eager to confirm the two couples were spending the holidays together.

So we will just have to wait and see how it all unfolds at Sandringham but for now, it appears there is no bad blood between the four.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have to make some important choices now that a little bundle of joy is on the way, including who to pick as the royal baby's godparents.

With plenty of well-known faces as their close friends, everyone is waiting with bated breath to see who will make the cut, between Meghan's connections in the acting world and Harry's assembly of royal family members.

Sources are now reporting that George and Amal Clooney are top of the list to be the newest royal godparents- with Meghan and Harry all set to confirm their baby's newest family figures, and what a couple to have been chosen.

The A-list actor's family are extremely certain that George and Amal will be asked, after the pair have become very close with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. George's cousin Ben Breslin is the 'family insider' who is creating the claims.

Ben Breslin has spoken about how he considers the notion of George as a godparent as 'wonderful', saying: "I'm all for it. He'd make a wonderful godfather, he'd make a wonderful just about anything – he's a good guy."

Amal, a British human-rights lawyer who has been friends with Meghan for a long time, socialises with the Duchess regularly.

Meghan and Harry flew via private jet to Lake Como in May to visit the Mr and Mrs Clooney, and spent time with their one-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.

An insider source who is friendly with both the Clooneys and the royals told the Daily Mail that;

"Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that. They're much closer than the headlines let on."

The royal pair are expected to attend a lavish dinner party in a number of weeks at George and Amal's home in London. High-profile names such as Barack and Michelle Obama are on the star-studded guest list.

We will have to wait until the spring to discover who the godparents officially are, as it is tradition within the royal family to withhold the information until the baby is born.

We think any baby would be lucky to have George and Amal Clooney though, what a loving pair.

Bookmakers were forced to withdraw options for punters to bet that the couple were expecting twins after a huge amount of bets poured in.

It's thought a source with inside knowledge about the royal pregnancy may have been the first to place money on the couple having twins.

'A Paddy Power spokesman told The Sun: 'An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether this morning.'

'Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters – or an insider source – knows something more than we do.'

Odds were slashed from 5/1 to odds-on after the influx of bets.

A spokesman for Paddy power told The Mail Online: 'We had to suspend betting. We saw an almost identical pattern of betting before the announcements of the couple's engagement and pregnancy.'

However, twins have not appeared in the direct royal family tree since 1430.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to move out of Kensington Palace to live in quite the special place.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the parents-to-be are planning on moving early in the new year ahead of the arrival of their first child.

According to Emily Andrews of The Sun, the Queen gifted the pair a new house which will be their official residence.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move into Frogmore Cottage once refurbishments are complete. It is believed the house is undergoing a large transformation to ensure it is a suitable home for a family.

The 10 bedroom house will be turned into a lavish family home. It will feature a nursery and even has space for a yoga studio and a gym.

We can barely afford to rent one bedroom so it's safe to say we're VERY jealous of the royals.

Frogmore Cottage is located in Windsor and holds a very special place in Harry and Meghan’s hearts.

The couple held their private evening wedding party and shot their engagement photos at Frogmore Cottage so it certainly means a lot to them.

“Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate,” Kensington Palace stated.

We are thrilled for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There’s no doubt Frogmore Cottage will be the perfect place for the pair to start their life as parents.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to welcome their first child into the world in the spring of 2019 and it looks like the parents-to-be have already started thinking about baby names.

Prince Charles accidentally shared two potential names that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have on their list.

The royal family tend to opt for traditional family names, like Arthur, Elizabeth, George and Albert but it looks like the lovebirds may be straying away from tradition.

There isn’t as much pressure on Harry and Meghan to choose a classic royal family name as the chances of their children becoming King or Queen are slim.

Prince Charles confirmed this by revealing that Kylie and Shane have the potential to make the couple’s name shortlist.
