We all LOVE a good TV show, and there is nothing more exciting than when that completely unreal series gets a movie of its very own.

Now, the beloved Downton Abbey is officially getting the movie treatment, and we couldn't be more delighted.

'Film bosses have requested the services of crew members and accountants to work on the picture,' according to The Sun.

'A budget has been set and now it’s a case of getting everything in place to start shooting.'

Filming of the future box office smash hit is set to start in September 2017.

'It would take something big to stop the project from happening now,' explained the source that spoke to The Sun.

This could possibly be one of the best TV-to-move adaptions we've ever heard of.

We're bracing ourselves for the next few episodes of Pretty Little Liars, because when episode ten is out – that'll be the end.

If you're like us, then you went through secondary school and college watching the series, and now as working women, we're still holding our breaths as A (or A.D.) threatens the Liars.

But, if this interview is anything to go by, we could be in for more than another series. We could be in for a movie down the line.

The Hollywood Reporter recently spoke to Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario, and Sasha Pieterse, and while they said it's definitely time to end the small screen drama, they're totally open to making a movie.

"Rosewood goes on, there’s always more to say," Sasha said. "Sex And The City had two movies, so you never say never, right?" Shay added.

"It would absolutely be nice to see the PLLs again in five years, but I'll be catching up with them sooner than that. ”

And as far as the story surrounding the movie, Troian thinks some time would have to pass to see where the Liars are in later life.

“Once this mystery is done, it all depends on what the story would be. Would it just be about what they’re doing in life and if that were the case, some time would have to pass and it would be very different.”

Whatever the case, we'd love to see it.

It looks like Batgirl is going to be a movie star!

It has been announced that Batgirl is close to getting her very own standalone movie, all thanks to filmmaker, Joss Whedon.

According to Variety, Joss just about has a deal nailed, which will see him write the script, direct and produce the flick for Warner Bros as part of the DC movie universe.

Even though Batgirl is one of the most popular heroines, she's never actually gotten her own movie, however, it is said that the flick will also feature a few familiar faces from Gotham.

The film is reportedly going to be based on th Batgirl story from the 1967 DC comic.

In this edition, Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, appears as the first Batgirl in The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl! by writer Gardner Fox and artist Carmine Infantino.

Apparently, Joss has been meeting with various Warner Bros producers in the past few months to get this film on the silver screen, so fingers crossed everything will pull through.

Amy Schumer was all set to personify one of the world's most beloved children's toys.

However, the comedian has said she is “bummed” she will no longer be able to star in the live-action Barbie flick.

The US comedian was expected to play the lead role in the film, which was set to start shooting this summer.

However, Amy's busy work schedule has caused her to pull out from the flick.

“Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to Barbie due to scheduling conflicts," Amy said in a statement to Variety.

“The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners."

"I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.”

So are we Amy, so are we.

Amy is renowned for her fiercely feminist stance and taking pride in her realistic figure, so having her star as Barbie would have put an amazing modern day spin on the classic toy.

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!

Lads, we don't know how we feel about this, and honestly, it all makes us just say 'huh?' in our heads.

Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas is You is being made into a movie, but we're not really sure how it's going to work.

Apparently, the song will be brought to life through Mariah's voice and CGI animation (see… huh?).

The song, which is also a children's book, will centre around a young Ms Carey and her longing for a pet dog.

See if you can wrap your head around the synopsis: "When young Mariah sees a darling little puppy named Princess at the pet store, she suddenly knows exactly what she wants for Christmas.

"But before her Christmas wish can come true, she must prove that she can pet-sit Jack, a scraggly rascal of a dog; in fact, the worst dog in the county! Naughty Jack turns Mariah and her family’s Christmas preparations upside down in hilarious ways.

"Will Jack dash Mariah’s hopes for her dream puppy? Or will Christmas reveal how love works in surprising and mysterious ways?"

Glenn Ross, general manager and executive vice president, Universal 1440 Entertainment said:"Like the song itself, Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You is destined to become an enduring family holiday classic.

"It is packed with family fun, holiday spirit, poignant moments – and of course, Mariah Carey!”

Are we pessimists if we say we're still not on board?

We only have a few more weeks until we say goodbye to Girls, but as it turns out, we shouldn't be bidding farewell forever, as a movie could be on the cards.

Fans of the show have been gearing up for its departure after almost five years, but along with sadness may come excitement as Lena wants the show to go feature-length.

The Girls creator is pretty certain the flick will be coming to a cinema near you, but admits that it might be a while, because she wants the cast to grow and be in different places in their lives.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Girls showrunner, Jenni Konner, said: “We feel like no one necessarily needs to hear from us right now. But if someone wants to do the movie, we'll do it.”

“I'd just want to leave enough space so that we are finding them in a super different place than we left them," said Lena in a separate interview.

We're already excited about this.

Starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, La La Land is the movie that has us falling in love with musicals all over again.

Up for a record-tying 14 Oscars (only Titanic and All About Eve can match that figure), it also won every category it was nominated for at the Golden Globes last month.

Oh, and it’s made close-to ten times its budget back already.

Here at SHEmazing! we say – go see it asap!

And if you’re wondering what the, ahem, song and dance is all about… here are eight very good reasons to LOVE La La Land

A photo posted by La La Land (@lalaland) on

1) You will worship musicals again

Sure for the first five minutes, you wonder how it’s all going to pan out. After another ten minutes of La La Land, you really start to like what you see. And after 30 minutes – well, then you are just ALL OVER musical films forever more.

2) You will covet the weather

It’s Ireland; it’s February. It’s chilly and damp and a bit dreary. What better time to inject a spot of LA sunshine and light into our lives? It’s practically a health treatment…

3) You will fall in love

Maybe not with your date – but certainly with the loved-up duo that is Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Their chemistry = ah-maze-ing! This is their third film together (the others being Gangster Squad, and Crazy, Stupid, Love) and, yup, they’re once again pretty much perfect.

4) You will sing

Stick the soundtrack on Spotify in the aftermath and truthfully, you will listen and sing along to little else for weeks.

5) You will adore dance

Dancing With The Stars has its merits, sure. But what you experience in La La Land is approximately 1,000 times better than anything seen on a celebrity-infused reality TV show.

6) You will dream

La La Land is all about making dreams come true. And every one of us – deep down – is a bit of a dreamer, right? This is a movie that offers beautiful escapism, making you feel all warm and fuzzy and happy inside at the same time.

7) You will be utterly devoted to Emma Stone

Put simply, she remains one of the most talented, smart and funny actresses we have ever seen. She is Hollywood royalty for all the right reasons.

8) You will quiver when you see Ryan Gosling

Do we need to elaborate? The guy is not only the sexiest man alive, but he also can dance, sing, AND play the piano. That is all the #boyfriendgoals right there.

Conor McGregor is apparently looking for success outside of the MMA octagon.

The title-holding champ is currently on a six-month break from his MMA endeavours as he awaits the birth of his first child with long term partner Dee Devlin.

Conor is said to be looking to the silver screen for his next career move, and there has been some Hollywood interest.

"Conor really wants to start doing movies. He’s doing everything in his power to break into Hollywood," an insider told the Irish Sun

“There has been a good deal of interest in him already and he thinks the time is right to start branching out."

“There’s been talk of a part in a big action movie and he’s held a number of meetings with producers, so it looks like there’s something in the pipeline."

“Conor would be a natural fit for a big Hollywood blockbuster."

And here we were hoping for a Kate-Hudson-Owen-Wilson style rom-com.

Let's be honest – whether you were a fan of the Twilight franchise or not, it's no surprise to learn that the atmosphere on set was far from welcoming at times.

And if anyone was going to spill those deets, we knew we could rely on Anna Kendrick who played Bella's pal Jessica Stanley.

Reflecting on her time on the set in her memoir Scrappy Little Nobody, Anna revealed that while the stars of the movie attempted to make her feel welcome, weather and general morale kind of prevented it.

"Kellan Lutz is the sweetest guy, but that day I think he might have strangled me if he’d had the energy," Anna admitted while explaining that the cast and crew were attempting to shoot the movie in freezing conditions in Canada and Oregan.

Anna then turned her attention to Kirsten Stewart, writing: "[She] – one of the most committed actors I’ve ever worked with — made a valiant effort to be friendly, but I could tell she was putting her back into it."

"Underneath every word, I heard 'You don’t know, man, you don’t know what it’s like out there.'" Anna added.

It sounds like Anna happily would have sacrificed her part in the franchise had she known what she was in for.

"If you told me I had to be in that weather with no relief, I would have bailed like the little b***ch I am. Extreme cold messes with you," she insisted.

"The elements don’t discriminate. And no amount of ‘you’re getting paid to do this’ matters when your body’s basic survival requirements are in play."

Christ, that sounds like no picnic.

Anyone who has seen Gone Girl will know that there was one particularly gory scene which you may have watched through your fingers.

And it involved Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris…on a bed… with a box cutter.

Yeah we know, the memories are stressing us out too.

Reflecting on her preparation for her role as Amy Dunne in the gripping thriller, Rosamund told Graham Norton that in order to play the part to the best of her ability she enlisted the help of a local butchers… and a Dora the Explorer doll.

No, seriously.

Opening up about the scene which saw her character kill her former boyfriend during sex, Rosamund said: "I'd never cut anyone's throat so I went to a local butchers and with great determination set about the carcasses with a Stanley knife in full view of customers."

And not only did Rosamund get knife-happy in front of the locals, she also did a little improvising with poor ol' Dora.

"I rehearsed with a Dora the Explorer doll in my back yard, probably in full view of the neighbours!" she laughed while chatting about the movie which had audiences on the edge of their seats back in 2014.

And if anything, this little reveal has made the whole thing even more terrifying.

You heard it here first ladies, Geordie Shore is making a movie. However, it's probably not what you're thinking it will be.

Instead of it being a reality movie, or an extended version of the show, the film actually has a script and storyline.

Gaz told The Sun: “A Geordie Shore film is actually in talks. There’s a company who’s making it and the script has already been written.

“Someone’s going to film it and then they’re going to go to MTV and say, ‘Look, do you guys want it? Then get involved or we’re going to make’. We’d be in it. It would be our movie," Gary insisted.

“The plot would be like The Hangover – we would lose Scott at the beginning or something.

“They thought Scotty T would be a nightmare to film so they could lose him at the beginning and then find him at the end.”

We're getting some serious S Club 7 The Movie vibes here…

Less than two months after the death of original Willy Wonka star, Gene Wilder, it looks like a new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie could be on the way.

But unlike the last two flicks to be inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved book, the potential reboot will explore Willy Wonka’s mysterious past.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. are joining forces with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them producer, David Heyman, to create a movie which centres on Willy Wonka himself.

Sources say the entertainment giant has already acquired the rights to the Willy Wonka IP from the Roald Dahl Estate, but currently it is unclear as to which of the novel’s other characters will make an appearance in the film.

While many are eager to learn where the legendary chocolatier actually came from, others have taken to Twitter in opposition of move.

Many online commentators say no version of the film could live up to the original 1971 version, while others believe the movie industry as a whole needs to focus on developing new characters instead of placing classic personas in new situations.
