Holly Willoughby

The UK's best TV talent was out in force at the National Television Awards last.

The star-studded event was held at the O2 in London and was hosted by the divine Dermot O'Leary, along with Queen of the Jungle, Scarlett Moffatt.

Here's a round up of some of the best looks on the red carpet last night.

1. Megan McKenna

Megan gave us major flamenco dancer emoji vibes in this red ruffled two-piece.

The reality TV star oozed Essex high-maintenance glamour with her bouffant up-do and flawless makeup.

2. Caroline Flack

Caroline opted for a simple, chic tailored dress that fit her perfectly.

Who needs accessories when your dress fits that well?

An unusual choice, the Goggle Box star totally stood out in the sea of formal dresses for all the right reasons.

4. Pixie Lott

Pixie Lott went for a subtle ruffle in this flare hemmed dress and looked gorgeous as usual.

The singer was left denying pregnancy rumours after fans thought that this dress gave her a teeny tiny baby bump.

5. Michelle Keegan

Holly Willoughby completely stole the show in this bespoke, pink plunging gown.

The TV presented proved that she's literally one of the girls by borrowing a pair of shoes from pal Rochelle Humes, and added some extra drama will Hollywood waves.

Who rocked the best look? They all look absolutely amazing in our opinion.

Holly Willoughby has an enviably hourglass yet slim figure, and the TV host swears that sticking to a healthy lifestyle is the key.

The This Morning host showed how much she cares for her viewers and fans by actively turning down the opportunity to discuss her diet and exercise routine.

"I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people's diets," she told Prima.

"I just can't contribute to that."

The mum-of-three said that she likes to focus on "the bigger picture," and makes her health a priority over how she looks.

"I'm healthy; I love food it's a celebration, something to be talked over, shopped for, cooked and enjoyed," she said.

The host may have learned a thing or two after best friend Fearn Cotton's eye opening documentary The Truth About Online Anorexia, where the DJ was horrified to discover that her pictures were being used as "thinspiration" by young girls.

Holly Willoughby was in her element on This Morning as she spent time with newborn babies and their mothers during a special episode.

The host even joked that she may never return to her day job and pursue a midwifery position instead.

However the mum-of-three came under fire as she was shown holding newborn baby Mei before Mei's own mum had a chance to hold her.

Holly gave the baby a cuddle as mum recovered from an emergency c-section.

"She's just so special, so magical," she said as she cradled the newborn.

However, This Morning viewers weren't happy with the show, and said that Holly should have waited to hold baby Mei until after her mum had.

Holly fans were quick to point out that This Morning had probably gotten permission from the recovering mum before the interview.

During the show, Holly also caught up with midwife of 16 years, Sylvie Wachtendorff who helped her learn to breastfeed her own son Harry.

"Sylvie spent a good 20 minutes with me, helping me to feed him. And he was my best feeder," she said.

She’s well known for her elegant feminine style, but that doesn’t mean Holly Willoughby won't be playing dress-up this Halloween.

Appearing on this week’s episode of Celebrity Juice, the This Morning presenter channelled her inner rebel by wearing what is likely to be one of this year’s most popular costumes, Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn.

The 35-year-old mother of three embodied Margot Robbie’s character perfectly with fishnet tights, dip-dyed pigtails, red and blue co-ords and a decorated baseball bat.

Meanwhile, show host Keith Lemon made an epic Sia with a black and white wig, oversized fringe and huge white bow complementing his little white shirt dress.

Fearne Cotton looked unrecognisable as Angelina Jolie’s dark fairy character, Maleficent, while Joey Essex rocked an orange glow and bleached smile for Donald Trump.

On today's This Morning, a debate broke out over the term 'Essex Girl.'

It has been added to the Oxford Dictionary and it is coined as a girl who is "typically sexually promiscuous and materialistic."

This Morning

Holly Willoughby and her co-host Ben Shephard were joined on the show by campaigners Juliet Thomas and Natasha Sawkins.

The women were both against the term in the Oxford Dictionary, but then Life on Marbs stars Danni Levy joined them on the couch and said the term was just a bit of fun.

This Morning

However, then things took an awkward turn.

Danni insisted that "the term 'Essex Girl' has put Essex on the map. It's even given a rise to shows like TOWIE

This Morning

"The term 'Dumb Blonde' is in the dictionary, but Holly… do you feel…" And Holly stopped her right there, bursting into laughter, saying, "hang on a minute!"

Holly clearly didn't want the debate to turn to her, and stopped Danni before she even started.

When it comes to Holly Willoughby’s look, the TV host is known for her curvy shape, a good midi skirt and those golden tresses.

Well, it looks like Holly wanted a bit of change this week when she took to Instagram to show off her new-do.

As she prepared to head up her brand new show, Meet the Parents, Holly decided a new show deserved a fresh haircut.

"New show… new lil' chop!" she said to her 1.4 million followers.

Saying goodbye to a few inches, the 35-year-old looked amazing with her lob-length cut and fans were equally as impressed.

“LOVE the new hair, Holly!” one follower wrote.

“Hair inspiration, definitely having my hair cut off,” said another who will be taking that picture to the hairdressers on her next visit.

Holly Willoughby is to tackle a new segment on This Morning and it might include a live birth.

The mum-of-three will be covering a range of maternity issues and even interviewing women who are in labour.

“We are doing a whole new maternity section,” Holly told the Daily Star.

“I am going on to a maternity ward and hopefully someone will let me speak to some women who are in labour to get a vibe of what it is like on a ward.”

The 35-year-old is keeping her fingers crossed that viewers will witness a live birth.

“There may well be a baby born on This Morning.”

And audiences won’t have to wait too long as Holly’s new segment is due to air in the coming weeks.

This Morning viewers were left in a state of confusion yesterday when the show’s host Holly Willoughby told a guest that she could relate to her dramatic story of cheating.

The anonymous mother told Holly and her co-presenter Phillip Schofield how her husband of ten years had been cheating on her with another man and that she only realised his infidelity through hearing the stories of people like her husband through her work with the Samaritans.

She explained to the hosts: “I believe he was being blackmailed, his behaviour became more and more erratic.”

“I was a Samaritan at the time and was talking to a number of people in his position and the more they were telling me the more I suddenly realised this was happening in my own home.”

Rather unexpectedly 35-year-old Holly responded to this statement by saying: “Sounds like my life.”

While Philip did glance at his colleague with a concerned expression, Holly continued on flawlessly with her next question.

Naturally viewers picked up on the strange nature of the exchange and took to social media to discuss the comment.

One Facebook user wrote: “Did she say ‘sounds like my life’!?  Hopefully she’s talking about the past not the present.”  While another said: “No man in their right mind would cheat on her.  They would be mad.”

According to The Sun, a source close to the presenter claimed there was no great secret behind Holly’s statement as she was just “engaging with her guest and empathising just like she always does”.

Sometimes lipstick gets on teeth – it’s awkward, it’s embarrassing, it happens.

And when most people discover they’ve flashed a less than pearly smile, they wipe away the damage and try to pretend like it was never there.  But as the latest instalment of ‘lipstick gate’ has shown, Jodie Marsh is not most people.

The glamour model has taken to social media once again to blast This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby for not warning her she had lippie-smeared teeth while on the show almost a month ago but, as anyone who’s been following the bizarre dispute will know, Holly did actually point out Jodie’s coloured smile on the This Morning set.

After Jodie shared a picture on Twitter stating “there's a special place in Hell for a woman who does not tell another woman when she has lipstick on her teeth,” Holly used Instagram to post a quick gif of her informing Jodie of the lipstick issue.

Now Jodie has fired back with a Wedding Singer clip in which Adam Sandler can be heard shouting: “Once again things that could have been brought to my attention YESTERDAY.”

And just to be sure everyone knows she is still talking about that same lipstick incident, Jodie wrote: “When you’ve just done an interview on live TV and you’ve had lipstick on your teeth and the interviewer only tells you when the interview is finished and you’re going off air…Makes you feel like…wahahahahaha soak it up people.  Soak it up…”

Erm, ok?

As we mentioned earlier, Jodie Marsh hit out (AGAIN) at Holly Willoughby for not telling her she had lipstick on her teeth during an interview on This Morning.

Taking to Twitter, Jodie shared a picture which read, "There's a special place in Hell for a woman who does not tell another woman when she has lipstick on her teeth."

However, Holly has fired back, taking down Jodie with one simple gif.

The presenter took the the photo-sharing app to post a clip of her TELLING the model she had a lippy blunder just before they went on air:

Oh, Holly, you so sassy.

It's been almost a month since Jodie Marsh's beauty blunder on This Morning, but it seems like she's still holding a grudge.

When Jodie appeared on the chat show, viewers were left cringing after she appeared on air with lipstick on her teeth. Many of Jodie's fans took to social media to call out Holly Willoughby for not telling her.

In the same day, Jodie uploaded a video on her Youtube channel, saying she was disappointed about how the interview went and she also agreed with her fans, hitting out at Holly for saying nothing about her lippy malfunction.

Someone sent this to me on Twitter. Fitting

However, it seems like she hasn't let the incident go just yet, as she took to Instagram this weekend and shared a picture saying: "There's a special place in Hell for a woman who does not tell another woman when she has lipstick on her teeth."

Jodie captioned the picture: "Someone sent this to me on Twitter. Fitting."

We think she needs to move on from the whole thing!

Yesterday, Jodie Marsh appeared on This Morning and suffered a little beauty mishap of having lipstick on her teeth.

Look, it's something that can happen to all of us, and we're sure that you've come home after a long day and discovered you have red all over your teeth and nobody told you.

But Jodie was quite annoyed by the blunder and took to YouTube to make her feelings known.

She wasn't happy at all with the presenters for not telling her and said on the video: "I just wanted to turn today into a positive rather than dwell on the negative – rather than dwell on the fact I had lipstick on my teeth and maybe someone should have told me.

"I definitely would have told someone I was interviewing but maybe that's just me," she said.

However, she wasn't just irked by the make-up malfunction. She appeared on the show to talk about her search for a sperm donor, and revealed she was upset that Holly and Phillip focused so much on her past rather than her present.

"The fact is I didn't feel like I had enough air-time today.

"I know they can't give you more than the allotted 8 minutes or whatever but I felt like my air-time focused a lot on the past and who I used to be – and I'm talking 15 years ago – and not the person I am today.

"I just wasn't happy with how it went, talking about me being a sex addict.

"I think all 23-year-olds are sex addicts. You only have to watch Love Island to see that, all having sex on TV – which is something I've never done," she added.
