Holly Willoughby

We all love Holly Willoughby as the blonde, bubbly presenter, but did you know she started off her career as an actress?

As much as we loved S Club 7 back in the day, we never copped on that Holly played Paul's love interest in the band's move, Artistic Differences.

She played the character Zoe, an aspiring model, and was just 19 when the movie was filmed.

Something we can't get over is how great she looks 16 years later; it's like she never aged!

But, even though she was the CUTEST in this movie, we love her presenting as she brings her fun personality to our TV screens on every occasion.

Watch the clip for yourself to see Holly in action.

Phillip Schofield may be a successful television presenter but his true claim to fame is that he appeared in an episode of the infamous US sitcom, Friends.

Well, his voice appeared.

Yep, while interviewing former Friends actor Matthew Perry on This Morning, Phillip revealed that his laugh can be audibly heard in the audience during a particular scene in the show.

While the 53-year-old is very excited by this small part in Friends, Matthew was less than impressed.

"I think we have to talk about how much free time you have," said the actor.

A few months ago, Nadine Coyle appeared on This Morning sporting a very orange face – and now it seems Holly Willoughby has fallen into the trap, too.

Fans were taken aback when the presenter shared a photo of her outfit on Instagram, with many commenting that Holls usually looks perfect, but this morning she needed to sack the make-up artist.

One user commented, “Someone at ITV has been heavy handed with the spray tan gun!" while another one chipped in, "What's with the orange face? Normally immaculate Holly.”

Knowing Holly though, she won't pay attention to the haters and just go on with her day. It's hard to look perfect ALL the time, right?

They're a little bit famous for going all-out at the award shows, and this year was certainly no different.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby celebrated their NTA win last night in style, and after the awards show, continued the party with Ant and Dec.

But they rocked up to work this morning wearing the same fancy dress as the night before – except now their outfits were stained and yellow.

"Should we be honest?" Holly asked Phillip, and then continued to say, "I haven't been home yet. We came straight here."

They even placed Pie-Face with Ant, who put mustard in the game, instead of cream. Ouch.

Now, we don't know if they're still buzzing from the booze or if they're really hungover, but their antics from last night sure did look fun.

Have you ever had the absolute misfortune of wondering what the term ‘gringe’ meant? The term became something of an internet trend earlier today when Holly Willoughby displayed hers on live television.

While it sound incredibly rude, it is actually not as shocking as one could be forgiven for thinking. It’s actually just a grown out fringe. The interesting new term came about during a segment of This Morning that was all about cutting your own fringe.

The idea seems to have come about after Kate Middleton appeared sporting a new hair style: a long fringe.

Naturally, the Kate Middleton effect was in full force and people everywhere decided they wanted their own. We highly doubt the Duchess of Cambridge refers to her new ‘do as a ‘gringe’, but that’s a different story entirely.

“Show us your gringe!” Holly’s co-host Phil declared, obviously not knowing what was going to result.

The internet was pretty appalled, and reacted accordingly because as it turns out, 'gringe' does indeed have another meaning and it is less than pleasant:

A few realised just how decidedly unglamorous the term was:

Despite that, we fear it seems to be something that is catching on:

We feel that after a quick Google of the term people may not be so inclined to be declaring their love of the 'gringe'. The Urban Dictionary puts it quite plainly. Perhaps this will put a stop to our habit of giving 'trends' unnecessary names in the future? We hope so.

Still, with a host of B- and C-list names desperate to spread the news of their new-found fortune (the gig comes with a big pay cheque), leaks regularly take place in advance… and it seems that this year is no different.

It was an emotional day for Fearne Cotton yesterday, as she left Radio 1 after a decade on air, and while some of the tributes sent in to the presenter were very touching, one in particular has left us laughing in silent recognition.

The star’s bestie, presenter and Celebrity Juice co-star Holly Willoughby, managed to dig up a classic throwback picture of the pair, taken while incredibly hungover – and we can relate on so many levels!

Fearne took to her Instagram account to share the moment with her followers, writing: “Thanks Hols for popping into the show today, and thanks for digging this up #10YearsAgo #HungoverButYoung.”

We don’t think we would ever be so brave as to share some of our less flattering hangover selfies.

It seems that it was an equally emotional day for Holly herself, who took to Twitter to pay a touching tribute to Fearne.

“Crying listening to Fearne Cotton on BBC Radio 1…so much as changed in the last 10 years but motherhood is the greatest adventure of all…end of an era! What a decade it’s been missy! Xxx,” wrote the This Morning presenter.

Excuse us while we contain our total BFF-envy.

We don’t think Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby will be too happy with their Celebrity Juice co-star, Keith Lemon this morning after he joked that one of them is pregnant.

Keith made the cheeky announcement at last night’s National Television Awards when he took to the stage to accept an award when he quipped: “Thanks to Holly and Fearne, allegedly one of them is pregnant. That's why they’re not here tonight. Exclusive.”

Although Holly didn’t explain why she skipped out on the NTAs, Fearne took to Twitter to say that she was feeling poorly: “Gutted I won’t make the NTAs tonight. Been ill all week and am still not right. Go team Celebrity Juice."

Given that Holly only gave birth to her third child, Chester four months ago, we reckon all bets are on Fearne for a big announcement!

If the star is expecting a baby, it would be the second child for her and husband, Jesse Wood.

ITV’s This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby is well known for her blonde locks and it seems Garnier has taken notice.

The 33-year-old was announced as the face of Garnier Nutrisse Creme Pearly Blondes and her hair campaign will start on 4th July.

Currently the golden girl of TV, Holly presents This Morning with Philip Schofield, has a fashion range with Fearne Cotton, a BHS home range and a whole lot more – so she will be extra busy with the new campaign.

The girl creates major envy with her gorgeous locks, what with it being perfectly flawless like all of the time!

However, it seems the mum-of-two has bad hair days like the rest of us.  Talking about her hair, Holly said: “Good and bad hair days will come and go but your colour is something you can control. Over the years I’ve experimented and I’ve pretty much been every colour, now I can’t imagine being anything other than blonde.”

We couldn’t imagine her being anything but blonde either.

Holly Willoughby said it was ‘horrible’ having to keep her pregnancy secret from the world.

The This Morning presenter – who tweeted the good news last Friday – spoke for the first time about the pregnancy on the show yesterday.

The 33-year-old already has two children with her TV producer husband, Dan Baldwin – four-year-old Harry and two-year-old Belle.

Talking to co-host Christine Bleakley, Holly explained that her oldest child is over the moon to meet his new brother or sister.

“When Belle came along, Harry was not even two yet, so he didn’t really get it,” she said. “This time he gets it and he came downstairs, and I was just waking up, and he went, ‘I just wanted to come down and make sure you and the baby are OK.’ It melts your heart! It’s all lovely.”

Holly also spoke of the relief at finally being able to tell everyone the good news.

“That first bit when you can’t say anything to anybody, it’s horrible because you just want to go ‘I’m pregnant!’ Now it’s nice that everybody knows and it’s out there,” she told her Bleakley.

Holly and Dan have decided not to find out the baby’s sex before the birth.

“I’m not going to this time,” she announced on the show. “I found out with Belle, but this time we’re not going to find out.”

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby may have put herself on the wrong side of Kylie Minogue after expressing her opinion on the latest season of The Voice. If it ends in the ring, we know who we’d place our bets on…

Even though the primetime show has been topping ratings, the former The Voice presenter said she doesn’t think that this year’s new judges, Kylie Minogue and Ricky Wilson, have helped with the ratings.

She said: “Have there been any improvements? I wouldn’t say, “The show is so much better this year” at all”.

To add insult to injury, the ITV sweetheart said that she would rather have Jessie J as a mentor than Kylie. She said: “If you’re comparing the coaches, Jessie J was so strong in her critique musically that the singers could really learn something from her…”

She added: “If I was on the show, Jessie would probably be the only person who had a hope in helping me to sing.”

Me-ow!
