It will be time to say goodbye to BT2 at the end of this year as the Grafton Street store is closing its doors.

The retail unit is going to be home to Victoria's Secret come the beginning of next year.

But it won't be the end of BT2 as it's Dundrum and Blanchardstown store will remain open.

Even though it will be a major loss to Dublin’s Grafton Street, BT2’s closure will not result in job losses, according to managing director of Brown Thomas, Stephen Sealey.

Bars and clothes shops – two places you can always be assured of spending ALL that money that you definitely don't have. Rent, what rent?

Well, you can wave goodbye to having a healthy bank balance any time soon, as Brown Thomas are apparently hoping to combine those two financial black holes into one.

The Irish retail giant has applied for a FULL pub licence as part of plans to refurbish its flagship store on Dublin's Grafton Street,

Brown Thomas Dublin's third-floor restaurant already serves wine and champagne to diners, but a full pub licence would mean it could also serve pints, spirits and all kinds of cocktails.

And shots.

And Jagerbombs.

A judge has granted the store a Declaratory Order, meaning that as long as all the refurbishments are carried out in accordance with planning permission, it will indeed be granted a full pub licence.

A rep for Brown Thomas joked that the in-store bar would mean that customers (and their spouses) could "slightly anaesthetise" themselves from the amounts they were spending.

Well, we're hoping it won't come to that, but we certainly wouldn't say no to a Cosmo or two as we browse all the fancy-ass clothes.

Ariana Grande's Viva Glam collection for MAC has had beauty fanatics in a flutter since it was first teased last year, and it's finally about to go on sale here.

The 22-year-old singer took over from Miley Cyrus this year as the new face of MAC's charity cosmetics collection, launching two new products.

Ariana's Viva Glam Lipstick is an intensely dark matte purple, while her Viva Glam LipGlass is a light shimmering pink. According to MAC, the collection is a nod to every girl's "good" and "bad" side.

Both lippies have just today gone on sale in the UK, but they're not available for purchase in Ireland just yet. Don't worry though, you won't have long to wait.

Here's what we know so far…

When you can buy them
The Ariana Grande Viva Glam collection will go on sale in Irish stores on February 4, with an RRP of €20 for the Viva Glam Lipstick and €19 for the Viva Glam LipGlass.

Where you can buy them
Ariana's collection will be available for Irish beauty queens exclusively at MAC counters in Brown Thomas and BT2 stores, or online at brownthomas.com

Where your hard-earned cash is going
Like Miley's campaign last year, all the proceeds (after VAT) from Ariana's products will go towards helping adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Do you remember the news that rocked the world of any and all chocolates fans last month?

When Brown Thomas announced that they would be introducing a personalisation service for our favourite chocolate spread, the internet went absolutely wild.

The "ultimate stocking filler" has proven to be a massive success in Brown Thomas Dublin. So much so that Brown Thomas Cork are opening up their own personalisation station too.

Hurrah!

Chocolate lovers (or very good gift-givers) will have the opportunity to personalise a jar of Nutella with up to 9 characters.

Individual personalised jars will be priced at €5.50, there is also the option to purchase a personalised jar in a presentation box for €7.50.

Once again, Caoimhe can finally have her own personalised treat, but those Christophers and Blaithnaids will still be left waiting, unfortunately.

The Nutella Personalisation service is available exclusively at Brown Thomas Cork from Tuesday 17th November.

OK, so we're not entirely sure how we feel about it being quite so Christmasy quite so early.

November 6; we're only just over the excitement of Halloween when suddenly bags of yuletide delights and oodles of festive cheer has flooded shops, streets and homes.

Ho, ho, ho – or bah humbug?

Well, while another six weeks of glittery goodness and mulled wine-infused air might prove taxing, we're today feeling sufficiently good-humoured to embrace the spirit of the season.

And certainly, we couldn't help but get oh-so unreasonably giddy at the sight of the Brown Thomas Christmas window on Grafton Street.

Unveiled last night, this year the theme is Store Of Wonders. As BTs explains: "We have gone back to the simple pleasure of a great story well told and have decided to celebrate the art of storytelling.

"We are doing fairytales and enchanted stories with a Brown Thomas twist."

Below, we bring you the gorgeous windows – which, it has to be said, are particularly stunning for 2015. In the meantime… 'jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way…'

Today is the day that Irish rugby fans the world over have been looking forward to, as the lads in green prepared to do take on Argentina in the Rugby World Cup quarter-final.

While candles are being lit up and down the country as the team face a very difficult challenege, one well-known department store took a photo sure to boost everyone's spirits.

While there have been thousands of tweets sent out in support of the team before the match, and even more priceless reactions during the game, this is possibly our favourite.

It turns out that we are not the only ones who appreciate a decent pair of tights.

Look, when the weather gets colder you can't exactly blame a girl for trying to keep herself as warm as she possibly can. We thought that when it came to hosiery fleece-lined tights (very cozy indeed) were the epitome of luxury.

We were so wrong.

Favourite of Duchess Kate herself, Wolford have introduced a very interesting take on statement pieces for winter fashion.

The Wolford "Jewellary Tights" are limited edition tights designed to strike a balance between eye-catching and elegant. It looks like they have done just that, too.

The opaque matt-look tights have a rivet design at the front of each leg which is adorned with Swarovski elements for a look that is kind of perfect for the festive season.

The limited edition tights are not available exclusively at Brown Thomas. They are retailing at €295, so if you add them to your Christmas list, make sure you've been on your best behaviour!

In the past, Kate's choices in fashion- this includes tights apparently, have been responsible for sending items flying off the shelves.

The Daily Mail once reported that the Kate and her Wolford's doing the rounds at various royal engagements were responsible for their Naked 8s tights selling out.

We wonder if this particular pair might have the same effect? We're trying to imagine the royal reaction they might get upon arrival at the palace.

Even if we have been pronouncing it wrong all this time (oopsies), here at SHEmazing! Towers we're mega-fans of the chocolatey, hazelnutty, sugary spread that is Nutella.

In fact, we had long-ago assumed that it couldn't really get any better.

How very wrong we were: because now Nutella has just upped its game… and we're deliciously excited.

Yes, from this Friday, Brown Thomas Dublin will be offering an exclusive personalisation service which allows you to brandish the otherwise humble jar.

Never know what to get your friends and family for Christmas? Well sit back and relax; it may only be October, but you're already sorted – because it will be tubs of Nutella all round this festive season.

Brown Thomas is calling it the "ultimate stocking filler". Pish-posh, we say! These will be given pride of place under the tree (albeit away from the radiator), because it's unlikely that any other gift will top them. Ever.

You have up to nine characters to play with (fair play Alexander and Aoibheann, you just make it – better luck next time, Christopher and Blaithnaid) and can avail of the service in the Grafton Street store's Living Floor on Level 3.

Individual personalised jars are priced at €5.50, while there is also the option to purchase a personalised jar in a presentation box for €7.50.

The Nutella personalisation service is available exclusively at Brown Thomas Dublin from Friday October 16 onwards.

Some of Dublin’s most style-conscious shoppers are sure to be delighted at the chance to catch-up with style superstar Olivia Palermo.

Well, luckily for them, she will be on hand to launch her Olivia Palermo X Ciaté London make up collection in store this weekend.

Originally scheduled to make an appearance last month- which was rescheduled after a surgery left her unable to travel.

Naturally, we at SHEmazing were pretty devastated when we heard the news.

However, when we were told that she was rescheduling her appearance we were as giddy as kids on Christmas morning, again.

Olivia signed as the guest creative director of the Ciaté brand. The New York native has expanded the collection from nail polishes to also include plenty of fabulous makeup products.

The first of the four exclusive collections to launch will be the collection of three new nail shades, handpicked by Olivia.

The three shades include her favourite Hutch– her “go-to red” that was inspired and named after her mother.

There’s also two softer shades to choose from, the soft powder pink Sundays and an “haute vacation red Nantucket.

They all look fabulous and very chic, so obviously we’re dying to get our hands on some for ourselves.

The new collection of cosmetics, housed in luxurious black and gold packaging (naturally), includes four Satin Kiss lipsticks, a smoky eye palette in nine of Olivia's favourite shades, two gel kohl eyeliners with blending tips.

Never one to ignore a trend, and certainly capable of putting her own elegant twist on one, she’s also introduced Cheekbone Cheat blush/bronzer compacts designed to contour and add warmth.

Fans of the fashion queen will have a chance to meet Oliva in person at Brown Thomas Dublin on Saturday 10 October at 12 noon.

One thing many ladies tend to neglect when it comes to wardrobe updates is their lingerie collection, but it should be a key part of your style arsenal.

Lingerie is about so much more than sexy negligees and lace thongs – it can form the basis of every look you put together.

A perfectly-fitting bra and the right pair of knickers can totally enhance any outfit, so don't be afraid to invest.

We headed along to Brown Thomas this morning to check out their AW15 Fit to Feel Fabulous lingerie show, and we left with a wish-list as long as our arm.

Here are a few key trends to keep an eye out for this season…

Jewel Tones
Emerald greens, midnight blues, deep purples and fuschia pinks are all on show this season. New looks from Fantasie, Walcoal and Stella McCartney mean you can ditch blacks and greys while still retaining a hint of sophistication.

Luxe Lounging
Printed silk pyjama bottoms from Yolke and fitted joggers from Skiny Skiny… sleepwear isn't just about matching PJ sets these days.

Retro shapewear
Forget the days of squeezing yourself into shapewear and spilling out over the top. Retro style high waisted bottoms from Triumph and DKNY, plus Spanx's "zoned support" mean shapewear is about enhancing, not hiding, your silhouette.

Soft pastels
We were loving the sweet nautical vibes at Cheek Frills this morning – perfectly pretty mint greens and soft blues.

Sultry with a touch of class
It's bondage, but not as you know it. Briefs with matching belts from Passionata and Myla show just the right amount of skin.

All styles above are available at Brown Thomas stores and online.

To book your complimentary fitting appointment at Brown Thomas Dublin's Lingerie Rooms simply contact the team in store on 01 605 6666.

Here in SHEmazing! we've been like a gaggle of kids before Christmas in advance of Olivia Palermo's planned Dublin appearance.

So it's with a seriously heavy heart that we have to break the news that the star has in fact CANCELLED her meet-and-greet event in Brown Thomas Grafton Street this forthcoming Saturday.

The 29-year-old was all set to launch the highly-anticipated Olivia Palermo X Ciaté London make-up collection, but recent surgery means she's not fit to travel.

A representative from Ciaté London said this afternoon: "Olivia recently had a minor surgery on her back and due to a slower than expected recovery is physically unable to fly to Dublin this weekend."

Adding that the star hopes to shortly reschedule with a new date, the company continued: "Needless to say, Olivia is very disappointed that she has to cancel at short notice."

Brown Thomas went on to say that it also wishes the star "a speedy recovery".

As guest creative director of the Ciaté brand, the New York native has expanded the collection from nail polishes to also include a load of makeup products.

Indeed the new range, which is housed in luxurious black and gold packaging, includes four satin lipsticks; a smoky eye palette in nine of Olivia's favourite shades; two gel kohl eyeliners with blending tips, and cheekbone blush/bronzer compacts.

And while we're obviously devo that Ms Palermo won't be in Dublin's fair city this weekend, we'll keep you posted as to when the rescheduled appearance will be taking place.

Brown Thomas says that those customers who have purchased from the Ciaté London range and received a wristband to attend the meet-and-greet with Olivia Palermo will still have the opportunity to meet her on the forthcoming rescheduled date. For any queries please call the Customer Service desk at 01 6056666.
