Unless you have been living under a highlighter-free, internet-resistant rock, you will have heard of Huda Beauty

Huda Kattan owns one of the most popular beauty inspiration and makeup tutorial Instagram pages on the net, and boasts a following of 21.8million.

As well as being one of the world's biggest beauty influencers, the mum-of-one has also created a seriously popular makeup brand.

Huda Beauty is a favourite among beauty YouTubers, with the pigmented palettes and liquid lipsticks being spotted in the collections of every influencer worth their salt.

The collection hasn't been available specifically in Ireland since it's launch, but that's all about to change.

Brown Thomas is about to play host to the super-hyped beauty brand.

Taking to Instagram, the Irish institution shared a video of Huda discussing the Irish launch.

'Ireland I am coming for you!' Huda herself exclaims in the video.

'Hey everyone, it's Huda from Huda Beauty, and we are so excited to be finally touching ground in Ireland.'

'We are launching in the Brown Thomas beauty lounge in Dublin, and also on BrownThomas.com.'

There's no word yet on an exact date but we'll keep you posted.

We'll be dusting on the highlighter and sharpening our elbows…

Is it still too early to mention the 'C' word?

Yes, is the answer – but try telling that to the folks over at Brown Thomas.

A new Christmas section has launched at the Cork, Limerick and Dublin stores, offering eager customers some of “the most luxurious and stylish” festive gear around, and we're just not sure how to feel.

The windows will also be decked out with extravagant displays of festive nonsense.

According to NewsTalk, Brown Thomas creative director John Redmond says: "Our aim is to offer that special Brown Thomas magic to our much valued customer, the season begins when our windows open."

And while that all sound fantastic, we reckon the magic may have worn off by the time Christmas actually rolls around.

Needless to say, Twitter is divided about the controversial move.

18 weeks and counting, ladies!

Well, today is your lucky day – or tomorrow, rather.

In celebration of International Lipstick Day on Saturday July 29, MAC cosmetics are giving customers the opportunity to get their hands on one of the brand's cult lipsticks completely free of charge.

But, there's a catch.

As the old saying goes, there's no such thing as a free lunch and so you will need to spend a minimum of €50.00 in order to avail of the offer

The colours available are Cyber, Stone, Fleshpot, Media, Captive, and MAC Red.

This limited promotion will run in Arnotts and Brown Thomas stores all over the country for one day only.

So, if your makeup bag has been looking a little sparse lately, this is the perfect excuse to stock up on all those essential beauty buys.

As part of a collaboration known as The Textile Project, students from the National College of Art and Design have seen their creations hit the shelves of Ireland's most luxurious department store this week.

Tasked with creating beautiful, colourful and printed fabrics, twenty students from the college rose to the challenge, with two of the patterns ultimately used to create a limited edition silk scarf and candle wrap.

The scarf has been produced in Ireland by CREATE alumni Sara O’Neill while the exclusive wrap decorates a White Pomegranate scented candle which has been produced by Max Benjamin in Enniskerry.

Inspired by everything from the distillers press in the NCAD to the changing profile of the Dublin skyline, the students also saw their prints adorn the iconic Brown Thomas shopping bag.

Truly impressed by the students' creations, John Redmond, the Creative Director of the Brown Thomas said: "The brief was to work with the 2nd year students to embrace colour, pattern and textures in their design and we feel the work that the students have delivered has far exceeded all our expectations."

"What’s really exciting about this, collaboration is that we have developed two products that will be sold instore – a limited edition candle and silk scarf using these beautiful vibrant prints!”

"This project provides an opportunity to showcase the creativity, innovation and skills that NCAD students acquire and develop during their studies," added Angela Kelly, Head of Design for Body and Environment at NCAD.

The products are on sale until stock lasts and the exhibition runs until June 14, so if you want to support Ireland's next generation of designers, you know what to do!

Brown Thomas has just unveiled their first ever Beauty Lounge, and it looks as sumptuous, secluded and serene as you could imagine.

The stunning new beauty boutique features a living wall covered in plants, as well as luxurious pink velvet furnishings.

Not only does the new lounge look amazing, but the beauty treatments available are giving us life.

"We are delighted to introduce the first ever Brown Thomas Beauty Lounge on Dublin’s Clarendon Street," reads the BT website.

"Dedicated to the best beauty services, the luxurious lounge will house Ireland’s first blowdry bar from Aveda and manicures, pedicures, brows and lashes from Nails Inc."

The new beauty bonanza of a boutique is open from 7am, so if you have a big event right after work, you can get your blow dry and your mani before you head to the office for the day.

The price list is astonishingly affordable, with eyelash extensions coming in at €30.00 and brow tinting costing €10.00.

Their braiding bar charges €19.00 for plaited styles, so get booking before festival season!

Even though Halloween is still ten days away, many shops and department stores have already put up their Christmas lights and trees.

Brown Thomas has always been one of those stores that go all out for the festive season, and they went ahead and decorated their windows today – a full two weeks earlier than last year.

The display is somewhat more traditional than previous years, and it was met by some joy, as well as some cynicism.

Here's what the people of Twitter had to say about it:

Well… What do you think of this early display?

September 24 will see Kanye West's new YEEZY BOOST 350 V2s hit the shelves of Brown Thomas in Dublin.

Apparently, Kanye has changed the shoe game this year and redesigned his famous footwear with "premium materials" and "unmistakable aesthetics."

The 350 V2 will see a brighter version of the runner, as a streak of solar red covers the middle of the shoe with the words… or letters… 'SPLY-350'.

So, if you fancy having the "world's most influential and sought-after shoe," then you'll need €220 to spare.

And, if you don't fancy waiting in line, you can also sign up for a chance to buy the latest version here. No more quese… Sweet!
