We're all sitting here, living our best lives, trying to speed up time so that Drag Race UK will FINALLY AIR on our screens sometime soon.

The creators of RuPaul's Drag Race, World of Wonder, confirmed the big news that a British version of the show was coming to BBC3 on Twitter months ago.

Mama Ru herself issued a statement, writing: “I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen’s queens.

Before anyone asks, yes, we would be thrilled to have Meghan Markle join us, as we are already preparing a 'Royal-Mother-To-Be' runway challenge.”

With Alan Carr and Graham Norton already announced as celebrity judges for the show, it has just been confirmed that Ginger Spice Geri Horner and Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall will also join the panel.

Opening up about her appreciation for drag, Horner said;

“I just love how drag encourages people to be exactly who they are. This show has brought so much joy and pride to people all over the world, I can’t wait for everyone to see the amazing queens representing the UK in this first ever series."

Jade also gave a joyful statement as another official girlband princess,  saying:

“I love absolutely everything about drag. I love that it’s art. I love how fabulous it is, how fun it is, I love that you can transform your body into a fantastic beautiful woman… the whole thing! I just wish in my next life I can be a drag queen.”

Game of Thrones' most badass assassin, Maisie Williams, has also signed up to be a guest judge.

The show dooesn't have an air date or a trailer as of yet, but we'll be keeping a look out.

Controller of BBC Three, Damian Kavanagh, described the achievement of the BBC acquiring the show: “Needless to say, we’re delighted that BBC Three will be the home of a new UK version of Drag Race.

“It is one of the biggest entertainment titles in the world and anticipation levels for a UK version have been at feverish levels. With heart, humour and the un-imitable RuPaul, Drag Race is going to take BBC Three to a whole new level.”

The show is set to be filmed in London, and casting directors will be searching far and wide for the best drag artists in the UK and Ireland with massive budgets for costumes and production.

RuPaul has an extensive following over in this part of the world, so we'll see if the new queens will give the original USA stars a run for their money.

We can't wait to see what UK and Irish drag artists bring to the party, but with a judging panel as incredible as this, what's not to love?

Legendary talk show hosts Graham Norton and Alan Carr have signed on to be celebrity judges on RuPaul's Drag Race UK this year, and we're GAGGING with excitement.

The pair will appear as rotating resident judges every week, and will join RuPaul, Michelle Visage and a celebrity guest judge.

Both iconic hosts are major fans of the iconic show, which has been a global worldwide hit since it first aired back in 2009.

Let's not forget that Norton actually appeared on the original version of All Stars season two back in 2016.

He said he has been a fan of the show forever; "Becoming part of the Drag Race family makes me ridiculously happy! I can't wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better werk!"

In the video announcement on Twitter today, Graham joked "maybe this is what the UK's good at."

For the Drag Race UK grand finale, both Norton and Carr will appear on the judging panel.

Alan Carr met Ru-Paul when he appeared on his chat show Alan Carr's Chatty Man but has been a fan for years of the pop culture phenomenon.

"Wow! To be sat next to Michelle Visage and Mama Ru as a guest judge on possibly one of my all-time favourite shows EVER is a dream come true," he said.

"I can't wait to see what the UK Queens have got in store – it's going to be sickening! *does death drop*"

The Emmy award-winning show will be coming to BBC Three this year, it was announced in December.

What comes to mind when you think of Alan Carr?

If it's an earnest expression, a broad smile, and wide-rimmed glasses, you're not alone.

In fact, along with his trademark laugh and filthy sense of humour, Alan's appearance has undoubtedly helped to create his on-stage persona.

So, it's no real surprise that Instagram was left reeling last night when the 41-year-old revealed a very different look.

Long gone is the goofy grin and animated expression, and in its place remains a bearded, brooding and, dare we say it, smouldering Alan.

I think being a hipster suits me

Alongside a photo of him staring unsmiling into the camera lens, Alan wrote: "I think being a hipster suits me."

Unfortunately for Alan, not everyone was impressed, with some fans and followers suggesting the comedian revert to his previous clean-shaven look.

"Didn't recognise you ….. please lose the beard," wrote one while another added: "Omg hunny no. Love u, but no." (sic)

"Sh*t didn't recognize you! Although, you could be a stand in for Tom in Castaway 2," joked another.

The verdict might be out on Instagram, but we gotta say, we're liking the new improved Alan.

After years of failing to compete against The Graham Norton Show, Alan's Carr's show Chatty Man has reportedly been cancelled by Channel 4.

Chatty Man has 2 million viewers on average, which is half of Graham Norton's 3.9 million.

According to reports, Channel 4 are said to have made the decision to call time on the show that has been running for 16 seasons.

Alan Carr spoke to The Sun about why he thought the show did not perform well, saying "the art of the chat show has evolved unless you can get the amazing guests all the time that Norton gets."

Alan also admitted that he thought having the show air on a Thursday night was the big problem, and he had done all he could to make it a success.

Fear not though, as this will not be the end of Alan Carr's chat show career.

The award winning host will reportedly present a new show called Happy Hour, which is set to air later this year.

Not all bad news so…

Congratulations are in order for Chatty Man Alan Carr – he's engaged to his long-term boyfriend Paul Drayton!

And going by what Alan told The Sun, it's going to be the most amazing wedding ever.

Alan's actor boyfriend took him completely by surprise and proposed to him while on holiday in Indonesia last week.

"He asked me to marry him in Lombok. There were nine couples in this boutique hotel and a man playing the organ. I went to the toilet and came out to eat dessert.

"And then I was like, "Oh my God, a filling's come out, just my luck on holiday. I pull it out and it's this ring and then the man on the organ starts singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight.'"

This sounds so perfect already!

"Then the chef, all the staff came out and the manager sang Can You Feel The Love Tonight, but they didn't know the next lyric, so they just sang 'Can you feel the love tonight? Can you feel the love tonight? Can you feel the love tonight?' So it was my idea of hell, but of course I said yes."

Erm… we bet poor Pau didn't want that to happen!

"My life is a roller coaster, like Ronan Keating says. It's really nice."

Alan also let slip that the couple's close friend Adele will be a bridesmaid and do a special performance for them on the day.

On a regular day, Anna Kendrick is possibly our favourite young Hollywood star, but we love her even more for sharing the most perfect anecdote ever this weekend.

The Pitch Perfect star was appearing on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, when talk turned to her recent time in England while shooting Into The Woods.

The 29-year-old went on to recall the cast’s trip to Dover Castle during filming, and a memorable stay at a B&B with quite a well-known owner.

Caught off guard by the epic English accent she was greeted with, Anna went on to create a mortifying and awkward situation with none other than one of the UK’s most popular reality TV stars.

This is just too good. Check out the video for yourself below, and revel in the hilarity of it all.

Last night saw the return of Alan Carr's Chatty Man, and after revealing that Piers Morgan would be one of his guests, he received some not so nice comments from his followers. However, the charismatic presenter didn't let it get him down, replying:

He also enjoyed a big of sarcasm at the troll's expense, tweeting: "'Im watching the other side instead!' *grabs trolls leg sobbing uncontrollably please watch Chattyman pleeeeaaaasseee*"

We like his style, and we LOVE his show – so glad it's back!
