Chloe Madeley has revealed that she plans to spend Christmas with James Haskell, despite announcing their separation two months ago.

Back in October, it was confirmed that the personal trainer and former rugby star had decided to call time on their relationship and six years of marriage. 

While it was later revealed that they had chosen to split during this summer, Chloe and James’s announcement came just two months after they had celebrated their daughter Bodhi’s first birthday.

Now, in an interview with MailOnline, Chloe has explained that she still intends to spend time with her ex over the Christmas break.

“Christmas is going to be a real family affair, it’s going to be me, my mum and dad, Bodhi and James,” the 36-year-old stated, referring to her parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

'That will be nice because as much as possible, I want Bodhi to have a real sense of family and togetherness at Christmas and it’s important for both James and I to do that. We don’t know how long that will be possible to continue doing, but we’ll do it for as long as we can,” she insisted.

Chloe continued by noting: “I want Bodhi to not only have a strong sense of a mum and dad, but also a strong sense of family as a unit.”

The mum-of-one then went on to confess how she is feeling about being single at Christmas time.

“People may find this hard to believe but I’m genuinely in a good space,” she admitted, adding that she is feeling “not too nervous about the next chapter.”

“I’ve got Bodhi, who I call my ‘funnel of love’, I can just funnel love into her and get it back, so I feel pretty solid and secure and ok with it all,” Chloe concluded.

At the time of confirming her split in October, Chloe penned: “Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

Shirley Ballas has been opening up about life as a grandmother!

Last week, the Strictly Come Dancing head judge became a grandparent for the very first time. Shirley’s son Mark Ballas and his wife, singer BC Jean, welcomed the birth of their son, Banksi Wylde Ballas.

In an interview with OK!, the 63-year-old recalled how she is already helping Mark in his first few weeks as a parent.

“I’ve never been as excited about anything as I am about this, it’s absolutely joyous. My son and daughter-in-law sent out a baby list and I didn’t want my grandbaby to wait for any of it, so my mother and I got on it right away and ordered what we could. They had parcels arriving every single day,” she exclaimed.

Shirley then went on to explain how she plans to spend as much time with Banksi as possible, starting with flying over to LA to have a “second Christmas” with him.

“I have the opportunity with a grandbaby to be able to go over there. I’m extremely fortunate to be in a position now where I can do that, so I’m very excited,” she gushed.

However, the dancing star insisted that she doesn’t want to be a “part-time grandmother”.

“It’s important for me to be able to spend FaceTime with the baby. It’s a priority, but I really don’t think my family understands. I don’t think anybody sits back and thinks, ‘What if I never saw my child for six months?’” Shirley noted.

“I want to be there as much as I can be, as much as his mum and dad will allow me to be part of the baby’s life. I could spend six months there and six months here – and I can afford to. I don’t want to miss out on my grandbaby. That is instilled in my head,” she added.

Sam Thompson is the new King of the Jungle!

Last night, the Made In Chelsea alum was crowned the winner of this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Sam’s co-star and ‘bromance’ friend Tony Bellew received second place, while former politician Nigel Farage finished the final in third place.

Back home in the UK, Sam’s girlfriend Zara hosted a viewing party for the reality star, along with his friends and family.

Following the 31-year-old’s win, Zara took to social media to share herself and her guests reacting to the moment Sam was crowned King of the Jungle.

On her TikTok account, the Strictly Come Dancing star posted a close-up video of her own reaction. Meanwhile, on Instagram, Zara also shared wider footage of the room, as all of Sam’s loved ones erupted into cheers and screams.

Sam’s best friend and podcast co-host, Pete Wicks, was chosen to greet him at the end of the Australian jungle bridge.

After their heartwarming reunion, Pete took to social media to share a photo of Sam beaming on the jungle throne.

“Honestly mate I couldn’t be prouder of you… KING OF THE JUNGLE,” he exclaimed in his caption.

Furthermore, the new champion also took to Instagram to re-share a sweet snap of his tight hug with Pete.

“The moment I’ve always dreamt of… oh! And I was crowned the king of the jungle,” Sam teased.

Speaking about his win to the I’m A Celeb cameras, Sam stated: “I just wanted to quickly say thank you so much for making my jungle experience. If I’m honest with you, I didn’t even think I’d be invited on this show.”

“To be here is completely down to you, and I can’t even explain how grateful I am. You’ve made my dream come true, and I’m a very, very lucky person,” he added.

Makes: 12

Prep time: 20 mins

Cook time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

80g butter

130g caster sugar

65g cocoa powder

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

80g plain flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

120ml Irish cream liqueur (e.g. bailey's)

Glaze:

2-3 tbsp Irish cream liqueur

1 tbsp cocoa powder

100g icing sugar

Method:

Preheat the oven to 170°C /350F. Line a 9×9-inch square baking tray with tin foil and lightly grease with butter.

In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, melt butter. Whisk sugar and cocoa powder into butter until well combined. Leave to cool to room temperature, then whisk in egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Pour in butter mixture and Irish cream and whisk well to combine, until smooth. Pour into the tray.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs. Cool in the baking tray on a wire rack before pouring the glaze.

For the glaze, whisk together all the ingredients in a small bowl. Drizzle over cooled brownies, then use a spatula to spread over the brownies in an even layer. Allow glaze to set for at least 2 hours at room temperature before cutting and serving the brownies.

There’s a new virtual vintage and antiques store in town, offering a collection of carefully curated, beautiful pre-loved homewares and decorative pieces to brighten up any home this Christmas. House of Klax Interiors, founded six months ago by Kat Lonergan, is a treasure trove of beautiful things from the Victorian, Art Deco and mid-century eras.

An interiors stylist, Lonergan recently left the corporate world of big tech following a career of over 15 years managing large recruiting teams to follow her passion for all things vintage and antiques. She comments: “It’s a big leap but I have been dreaming of setting up a vintage and antiques store for a very long time and it felt like the right time. I believe that vintage or antique pieces have stories to tell, and while they may not always be perfect there is a uniqueness and beauty to the history they hold. As a child dusting and cleaning my mother’s antiques, I just loved how they looked and felt. I remember examining every detail and marvelling at their beauty. I think a unique piece, whether it costs €20 or €200, is such a thoughtful gift as it’s a handpicked, one-off item that won’t be found elsewhere.”

Lonergan, who hails from Co. Longford but has lived in Dublin for over two decades, spends hours each week sourcing and searching for treasures that she believes her customers will love. She adores the Art Deco era, French pieces, oriental chinoiserie and the Hollywood Glamour period. While her own style is maximalist (see her own beautiful home at @houseofklaximalism), she appreciates every aesthetic which is reflected in the items she sources.

“With House of Klax Interiors I want to demystify antiques. Traditional antique shops can be intimidating and overwhelming to the average buyer, but what customers get from me is the personal touch, transparent pricing, everything explained, and even advice on how to style items. I don’t order in bulk, and spend lots of time bidding on auctions, always looking for individual and unique items that will elevate any interior styling moment. It’s a full-time job!”, she continues.

Domino's today revealed pepperoni, roast chicken, and ham as the top three most ordered additional pizza toppings, with tandoori chicken and green jalapeños adding heat to the top ten.

These findings come from the inaugural Taste of the Nation report; a nationwide study by Domino's into Ireland's pizza preferences. The report reveals a staggering 951,259 orders for pepperoni and over 561,905 orders for roast chicken, showcasing the nation's love for these classic toppings.

But wait, there's more! The report also uncovers some interesting Irish pizza preferences. Garlic Pizza Bread, the ultimate side dish, is a staple in most Irish pizza orders, while tandoori chicken has surprisingly knocked controversial pineapple out of the top ten, reflecting Ireland's spicy palate.

Habits:

In pizza world, the knife and fork debate are as cutting edge as it gets, with over half (51%) of pizza lovers believing it to be totally acceptable to indulge in a slice with cutlery. When the going gets tough, the tough order pizza, as over two-thirds (67%) of pizza enthusiasts agree that pizza is the ultimate comfort food.

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland were today joined by partner FoodCloud at the Liffey Valley Tesco store as they announced the impact of this year’s ‘Win a meal, Give a meal’ campaign, which has resulted in 70,000 meals being donated to the social enterprise this Christmas.

As part of the campaign launched earlier this month, shoppers in Tesco stores across Ireland were in with a chance to win a meal and for every entry received, Coca-Cola HBC donated a meal to FoodCloud. Coca-Cola HBC today thanked customers for their engagement in the campaign which will see 70,000 meals delivered through FoodCloud to support communities in need across the festive season.

FoodCloud is a not-for-profit social enterprise working to tackle food waste and food security. These challenges are addressed by redistributing surplus food from the food industry to a network of over 650 community groups across Ireland. To date, FoodCloud has helped to ensure that 250 million meals have gone to people in need and 105,000 tonnes of food was not wasted.

Coca-Cola HBC has a long-standing partnership with both FoodCloud in the Republic of Ireland and its counterpart FareShare in Northern Ireland, which has seen Coca-Cola HBC provide financial and product donations as well as volunteer hours. Earlier this year, the company announced the expansion of this partnership and its investment in supporting the delivery of FoodCloud’s Food Sourcing Strategy. The strategy will take a holistic approach to reducing food waste across the island of Ireland and will focus on FoodCloud’s objective of doubling the volume of food redistributed to 5,100 tonnes per year by 2025.

Over the past three years, Coca-Cola HBC has donated over €105,000, the equivalent of 315,000 meals, to FoodCloud. Today’s announcement builds on this continued partnership between the two organisations and is another way in which Coca-Cola HBC is seeking to not only reduce food waste but also reduce carbon emissions and accelerate the country’s journey to NetZero.

Tom Burke, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: “We want to thank Tesco for coming on board once again this year and taking part in our ‘Win a meal, give a meal’ campaign. As a result of the generosity of Tesco shoppers’, 70,000 meals will be redistributed to communities that can benefit from perfectly good surplus food this festive season through our partner, FoodCloud.
