Samie Elishi has broken her silence on her split from Tom Clare. 

The Love Island star has spoken out about her and Tom’s relationship coming to an end after Tom announced the pair went their separate ways yesterday.

The pair came in third place in the winter series of the show and just a month later have confirmed they are no longer a couple.

Elishi explained, “Really didn't want to have to write an Instagram story on this but the comments and messages I have been getting since Tom posted his story yesterday is just not fair”.

“I will be speaking about everything soon but at the moment the time isn't right (which I will also explain)”.

The former reality TV star concluded the post by adding, “Thank you for the kind messages, they don't go unnoticed”.

The footballer explained, “Didn’t think I’d be writing this but me & Samie have gone our separate ways”.

“We are still on good terms & I have nothing but love & respect for her. I’m gutted it’s come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best”.

Many fans of the former Love Island couple had recently been speculating they had split up due to the distance in their relationship. Samie is based in London, while Tom is living in Macclesfield.

The news of their break up comes after a recent interview the couple did for Chloe Burrows’ YouTube channel where Elishi admitted she went into the villa for exposure rather than love.

After Chloe asked the two was it ‘love or exposure’ that made them apply for Love Island, Samie admitted, “I’m going to be honest, mine was the second one. I didn’t expect to meet anyone”.

Clare then revealed, “I think mine was I really wanted to meet someone, but in the first two weeks I was like, ‘I’m stuffed here, there’s no one for me’”.

Amy Childs is engaged!

The former star of The Only Way Is Essex has revealed that her partner Billy Delbosq has popped the question – and she said yes.

The wonderful news comes exactly three weeks after the couple welcomed baby twins into the world – daughter Amelia and son Billy.

Amy took to Instagram earlier today to announce the wonderful news.

As well as showcasing Amy’s shocked reaction, the bride-to-be also included some breathtaking shots of her brand-new engagement ring.

To the delight of Amy’s 825K Instagram followers, the final moment of the video revealed the adorable way Billy included the twins in his proposal plans. 

In the image of the twins sleeping soundly, fans can see that Amelia’s baby grow reads: “Mummy will you”, with baby Billy’s onesie adding: “Marry my Daddy?”

Amy subsequently took to the caption of her post to revel in her delight at being engaged to Billy.

“Oh Amy lovely news congratulations to you both what a beautiful moment,” added Saffron Lempriere.

Amy and Billy have been together since October 2021, and announced their twin pregnancy on October 31 of last year.

Their newborn twins join Amy’s two eldest children – five-year-old Polly and four-year-old Ritchie.

Gemma Atkinson has been reflecting on her relationship with her late dad, who sadly passed away 21 years ago after suffering a heart attack.

The former Emmerdale star, who is currently expecting her second child with Strictly Come Dancing’s Gorka Marquez, has shared a moving tribute for her dad on the anniversary of his passing. 

In the sweet message posted to her 1.8M Instagram followers, Gemma spoke about the last time she saw her dad before he passed away and opened up about wishing he could meet his grandchildren. 

Sharing a lovely photo of her wrapped in her dad’s arms as a little girl, Atkinson wrote, “21 years ago today I sat by your hospital bed sharing a mars bar & laughing. You were due to come home the following day. I gave you a kiss, said I’d see you tomorrow and left”.

“A few hours later the hospital rang mum to tell her you had passed away. A heart attack in your sleep. My world shattered then and there. Completely broken”.

Gemma continued, “Having to remember you longer than I had you here is a weird feeling, but I’m always grateful & thankful for the wonderful 17 yrs I had you in my life Dad”.

“17 yrs of feeling safe, loved, protected & happy. The best Dad in every way. Today we miss you more than most, but we can sit and laugh now about you, and I know you’re regularly ear wigging and watching us too. I feel it often and it’s always a comfort”.

The former Hollyoaks star revealed she and Gorka were expecting their second child together in January of this year.

Alongside photos of Gemma's blossoming baby bump they announced, “Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year. We feel so incredibly blessed and Grateful to be on this journey again”.

The couple, who met on Strictly in 2017 and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019, are already proud parents to a three-year-old daughter named Mia.

Gardaí have asked for the public's assistance in finding a missing teenager.

14-year-old Joseph Phelan was last seen yesterday, Wednesday, April 26.

The teen is missing from the Ballyhaunis area of Co Mayo.

Joseph is described as being approximately 6' in height and has a medium build. He also has brown hair and brown eyes.

Gardaí and Joseph's family are deeply concerned for his welfare, and are hoping that he will safely return home soon.

If anyone has any information regarding Joseph's whereabouts, they are being asked to contact Ballyhaunis Garda Station on 094 963 0008, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

The long weekend is already almost upon us and we can’t wait to spend the next few days relaxing and watching our favourite TV shows. 

Kicking off the weekend we have The Late Late Show and it promises to be another brilliant episode, jam-packed with entertainment. 

RTÉ have announced the line-up of celebrity guests that will be joining Ryan Tubridy for the evening and we’re so excited to hear their stories tomorrow night. 

First up, the projects from The Late Late Big Repair Challenge will finally be revealed. Challengers had just five weeks to restore items that were fit for the skip but close to their hearts and now Ryan will be joined in studio by their mentors, Home Rescue: The Big Fix's Pete the Builder and Gaff Goddess Laura De Barra. Ryan will speak with the Irish woman on the cover of this month's ground-breaking edition of British Vogue, Sinéad Burke, about what it feels like to be a little person fronting one of the world's most iconic magazines; how attending the Met Gala was the scariest thing she has ever done, and why she feels there is no reason the change she has spearheaded in the fashion world can't be applied everywhere to make the world more accessible and equitable for people with disabilities.

Tony Delaney, a successful businessman, running a company with a turnover of millions, has been carrying around a secret that nearly consumed him all his life. Tony was indecently assaulted as a child and he finally found justice in court earlier this year. He will join Ryan on Friday’s show to talk about his experience.

Musical entertainment for the night will be provided by Dublin singer-songwriter, Saibh Skelly who will perform Superficial.

Rita Simons has broken her long silence on the backstory behind her EastEnders exit.

The actress, who is best known for playing Roxy Mitchell on the long-running BBC soap, was on our screens for 10 years.

Viewers last saw Roxy on New Year’s Day in 2017, as she tragically drowned in a swimming pool alongside her sister Ronnie (Samantha Womack), on the day of her wedding to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Excitingly, fans can expect to see a glimpse of Roxy in tonight’s episode, as she briefly re-appears to console her daughter Amy, who has been struggling with self-harm and grief over her mother’s death.

Ahead of her short return, Rita has now revealed that she never wanted to leave the show, and she especially didn’t want her character to die.

In an interview with The Sun, the 46-year-old recalled the "toxic" environment the EastEnders set had at the time.

“I got pulled aside a couple of days before filming the final scene by an exec, who I cannot name for legal reasons, who said to me, ‘There are a lot of people upstairs who don’t agree with this,’” Rita explained.

“So what I was hearing was that people above did not agree,” she continued. “Why they couldn’t help, I don’t know. The politics there was so fraught at the time.”

The mum-of-two went on to describe herself and co-star Samantha as “targets of the hit list,” as the pair were given just eight weeks’ notice before their characters’ unwanted deaths.

“It did feel personal at the time but I have to add a lot of the cast were scared to speak,” Rita admitted.

Rita has since praised new Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw as being the reason behind her brief return.

“The show is its best ever, and the whole place is different,” she exclaimed. “I wouldn’t come back if it was still in the state it was in and I wouldn’t have come back for anyone other than Chris,” she added.

EastEnders continues tonight at 7:30pm on BBC One.

When speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show recently, Chris opened up about his relationship which he had been keeping private.

The 39-year-old explained, “I’m very happy, very much in love. And I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special”.

“Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone that you really connect with is really, really special”.

Appleton, who styles the hair of celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Dua Lipa, is dad to two children- a son named Billy and daughter named Kitty-Blue- whom he shares with his ex-partner Katie Katon.

Hayley Hughes has announced she’s expecting her first child with her partner.

Hayley, known for her appearance in the Love Island villa in 2018, has said it’s a ‘dream come true’ to be expecting a little one.

She shared the exciting news to her 753K Instagram followers by posting a collection of stunning photos. 

In the snaps, the mum-to-be is showing her blossoming baby bump, as well as a clip while having a scan done and of her positive pregnancy tests.
