Kelsey Parker has shared an emotional tribute for her late husband Tom to honour his birthday.

Tom Parker, known for being a member of the boyband The Wanted, tragically passed away aged 33, on March 30, 2022 following a battle with brain cancer.

To mark Tom’s birthday today, Kelsey has penned a heartfelt message about him being a ‘superhero’ to her and their young children- three-year-old Aurelia and two-year-old Bohdi. 

Kelsey headed to Instagram to share a collection of photos of the family-of-four to her 416K Instagram followers. 

One snap shows Tom cuddling his little ones as they celebrated his birthday prior to his tragic passing, while another shows Tom and Kelsey in their younger years.

The 32-year-old captioned the post, “We miss you everyday. But these days are harder. Happy birthday forever our superhero”. 

Kelsey also pictures and a video of Tom to her Instagram Stories as she reflected on their time together.

She penned, “Oh we miss you so much, but how lucky we had you in our lives”.

Fans, famous faces and loved ones of Kelsey’s and Tom’s flooded the comments with supportive messages for the mum-of-two. 

Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips said, “Happy birthday Tom, thinking of your gorgeous family today, he’ll be with you today and every day”.

“Sending you love mate. Happy Birthday Tom x”, commented former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison. 

A fan added, “Sending you and your beautiful babies so much love today kelsey, thinking of you all as always. He’d be so incredibly proud of you. happy birthday tom, forever 33 – forever an inspiration”.

Last month marked Tom and Kelsey’s wedding anniversary. Reflecting back on their marriage together, Kelsey emotionally revealed, “I hate we only had 3 years married. But I’d take 3 years over none. Miss you, love you”.

The Irish Cancer Society has been highlighting the increasing cost of suncream, following a rise in skin cancer diagnoses.

Amid the campaign, a mum-of-six has now spoken out about her recent experience with skin cancer.

Deirdre Bonass, a single mum-of-six from Wexford, is currently recovering from treatment after she was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma skin cancer.

Deirdre has since chosen to tell her story in a bid to encourage the Government to lower the cost of suncream.

For her treatment, the 56-year-old had to apply a chemotherapy cream to her face, which has resulted in her skin breaking out into blisters and spots, as well as a burning sensation similar to “rubbing a hot iron over your face”.

“I am so thankful that there was a treatment available to me and that the effects on my skin were temporary. My skin is now almost back to normal and although the treatment was severe, it was a lifeline to me,” she admitted.

Deirdre then went on to ask the public to be safe and protected when out in the sun. However, she also echoed the Irish Cancer Society's worries that people can't afford to buy suncream.

“Suncream can be expensive, particularly if you are trying to keep the kids safe in the sun,” she explained.

“I know I have used suncream sparingly in the past because you’re trying to stretch out how long a bottle lasts. If we want people to protect their skin, we have to make it more affordable,” she insisted.

According to a recent study carried out by the Irish Cancer Society, seven in 10 people say suncream is too expensive, and one in 10 say they do not wear it because they can’t afford to buy it.

Around 13,000 people are diagnosed with skin cancer every year in Ireland, making it the country’s most common cancer. The National Cancer Registry of Ireland (NCRI) has previously expressed concerns that they expect these figures to double by 2040.

Reposting a video by the interior design company that created her tot’s stunning room to her 570K Instagram Stories, Janette's newborn's Disney-inspired nursery looks chic with its black furniture and grey features. 

There are also brown tones and wooden elements to the room with timber bars decorating Lyra’s cot and a nude-coloured light fixture made out of feathers. 

There are grey soft furnishings between the carpet, rug, armchair and curtains to tie all the tones of the room together, as well as lots of cuddly toys for Lyra to enjoy. 

There are plenty of nods to Disney with Mickey and Minnie Mouse pictures hung up on the wall, as well as Winnie the Pooh characters and Princess statues dotted around the room. 

The interior design company left a lovely message for Janette and Aljaž in the caption of the video that reads, “Welcome to the World Lyra Rose! We hope you are super happy in your new crib…Love DOVE”.

Rebel Wilson has opened up about the birth of her first child!

In November of last year, the Pitch Perfect star surprised her fans when she announced that she was now a mum to a baby girl, born via surrogacy. Rebel now shares daughter Royce Lillian with her fiancée Ramona Agruma, who she got engaged to in February.

In 2020, Rebel announced to the world that she was going on a health kick, with the aim of one day becoming a mum. 

The Australian actress later noted that a fertility doctor recommended serious changes to her lifestyle, in order to have a chance of naturally conceiving.

"I was lucky to get an embryo from the process because of my age and because I have polycystic ovary syndrome. With just one embryo, I decided to go with surrogacy," the 43-year-old explained.

"Physically I could have carried the baby, but there was a much higher statistical chance it would work with a surrogate,” she added.

Khloe Kardashian has unveiled new family photos with her two children Tatum and True.

The Keeping Up with The Kardashians star has been celebrating her son’s first birthday with her loved ones and organised a show-stopping party to mark the big day.

The tot’s party was space-themed and Khloe pulled out all the stops to ensure the party was perfect. 

Now that the celebrations have drawn to a close, Khloe has shared adorable pictures from the special day to her 311M Instagram followers. 

In one collection of photos that the 39-year-old captioned, Tatum turns 1, many of Khloe’s famous family members are pictured together including her mum Kris Jenner and her partner Corey Gamble, and Khloe’s niece, Stormi Jenner.

More snaps posted later on her Instagram show Kourtney Kardashian donning her blossoming baby bump alongside her husband Travis Barker, with Khloe and her ex-partner Tristan Thompson at opposite sides of the expectant parents.

The star of the show, baby Tatum, looked as cute as a button dressed in a little white and beige short and t-shirt set with a matching blazer. Khloe’s five-year-old, True, wore a pretty white dress to match her mum’s.

There was plenty to keep party-goers busy with a slime station, play-doh table, as well as a dress-up area with jet packs and space helmets.

When speaking about her baby boy, whom she rarely posts online, Kardashian admitted, “I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you”.

“God knew my heart needed you. I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son”.

Khloe continued, “I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of the love and laughter we have in our house. So proud of your beautiful, gentle, loving, infectious spirit”.

In a Q&A video on her YouTube channel, the 24-year-old answered burning questions from fans and revealed that the lovebirds are planning to get married in a church in the UK.

The former reality TV star explained, “One thing I can say is that the wedding will definitely be in the UK. We have had some conversations about the wedding and what we have in mind”.

“It will be in a church as Tommy is religious and that’s the one thing he said like, ‘You can go wherever you want with this wedding, you can do what you want’, but the one thing he would love would be for it to be in a Catholic church and that’s absolutely fine with me”.

Molly then admitted that she pictured herself running off with Tommy and getting married privately, but there’s a lot of planning she still needs to figure out first. 

“In terms of a big wedding or a small wedding- honestly, I have had visions of just running off and getting married, just Tommy and I”.

“Running off into the sunset and getting married in a little chapel. I don’t know. It is a lot of planning and a lot of money. It’s a lot of everything planning a wedding”.

When announcing their engagement, Molly said, “To my perfect fiancé… forever wouldn’t be long enough to call you mine”.

Tasha Ghouri has taken a stand against comments mocking her voice.

The former Love Island star, who finished last summer’s series in fourth place with her boyfriend Andrew Le Page, made history as the show’s first-ever deaf contestant.

Since her stint on Love Island, Tasha has continued to be an advocate for the deaf community and consistently promotes awareness.

Now, the 24-year-old has chosen to hit back against an offensive comment about her voice.

Yesterday, Tasha took to TikTok to respond to a comment that said: “She has that same annoying voice as Tash.”

“I try really hard to not respond to these kind of comments, but I like to use my platform to educate and turn something negative into a positive,” Tasha stated at the beginning of her video, before going on to explain her voice.

“So, for the deaf community, we all have something that’s called a deaf accent. It’s just something that we’re born with, it’s just something that we genuinely cannot help,” she detailed.

The reality star then proceeded to show a video of her younger self practicing her speech. 

“In this video, I was five years old. I first got my cochlear implant and, as you can see, I still use my British Sign Language,” she noted, adding: “At that point, I was learning how to actually speak.”

Tasha concluded her video message by confessing that she went on Love Island to highlight the deaf community.

“What I’ll be using my platform is to educate those that maybe don’t understand why my voice may come across as ‘annoying’. I saw all over when I was on national TV about my voice, and it’s a shame because I wish the world was so much more open minded and more understanding. That is why I went on that show, to do that,” she stated.

Many of Tasha’s followers have since expressed their support and praise for her.

Celine Dion’s sister has issued a new update on her sister’s ongoing health issues.

The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker is currently living with stiff person syndrome. Earlier this year, the 55-year-old was forced to cancel the rest of her Courage World Tour, which was due to continue until April of next year.

Now, Celine’s sister Claudette has shared a glimpse into how her sister has been coping as she tries to rehabilitate.

In an interview with Le Journal de Montreal, Claudette revealed that her sister Linda has now moved into Celine’s home, where she also lives with her three sons René-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson.

She then went on to explain that The Power Of Love singer had no choice but to cancel her world tour.

"I honestly think that she mostly needs to rest. She always goes above and beyond, she always tries to be the best and top of her game. At one point, your heart and your body are trying to tell you something. It's important to listen to it,” Claudette confessed.

"It's innate to her, she's disciplined in every area of her life… We can't find any medicine that works, but having hope is important,” she added.

In December of last year, Celine announced that she would be rescheduling and cancelling several of her tour dates, as a result of her health. Then, in May of this year, Celine confirmed that she had cancelled all of her remaining performances for the foreseeable future.

Strictly Come Dancing stars have been sending their support to Amy Dowden as she begins her chemotherapy treatment.

The professional dancer was diagnosed with grade three breast cancer earlier this year, which resulted in her undergoing a mastectomy. 

Unfortunately, Amy confirmed last month that she had since been diagnosed with more tumours and a second type of cancer, meaning that she would have to begin chemotherapy.

On her Instagram account, the Welsh dancer posted a snap of herself wrapped up in a hospital bed, with a cold cap on her head to reduce hair loss from the treatment.

“Chemo 1 done!” Amy declared at the beginning of her caption. 

“I looked worse going in than coming out actually. I didn’t sleep, I got there and I just burst into tears, luckily my pink sister made sure I walked in and helped me through it and distracted from the brain freeze of the cold cap. (wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!)” she praised.

“Red Devil went in, had another cry but I’ve left knowing chemo 1 done and not as bad as I thought. This is due to the incredible team and nurses! Thank you NHS! Hopefully not too many side effects,” she exclaimed.

The Strictly pro dancer concluded her message by addressing her dancing career. Before her diagnosis, Amy had been announced as part of this year’s Strictly lineup, but is now unable to take part.
