During the week, Little Mix were hit with split rumours when Perrie Edwards shared a picture with her bandmates at the Kids Choice Awards.

However, she cropped Jesy Nelson out of the snap.

Fans began to speculate that the girls had a fight, and then rumours went flying that the band were about to split up.

A post shared by Perrie Edwards  (@perrieedwards) on

But today, Jesy ended the gossip by posting a Snapchat video in Perrie's bed.

"So we just want to address the situation of the friendship between me and Perrie. Do you think I'd be lying alone in her bed if I wasn’t friends with her?" she said in the video, while Perrie giggled in the background.

Fans are now delighted and many are saying on social media that they didn't believe the hype anyway.

"There's no shade. They said they were best friends on Snapchat today anyways," one fan said on Twitter.

The girls certainly know how to end a rumour.

So, we have reached that stage of the month when we start to cancel on our friends because, you know, we just can’t afford it.

But sharing a nice dinner with your friends and family doesn’t mean you have to break the bank – if you pick one these affordable restaurants in Dublin.

Featherblade

A great steak usually comes at a (pretty heavy) price. But in Featherblade, you can get a delicious juicy steak for as little as 13 euros (you should also add one or two or their fab sides, just sayin’…).

Brownes of Sandymount

This cosy restaurant is like Love Actually: a classic that never disappoints. With the evening French bistro menu, you can enjoy two courses for 20 euros.

Their duck leg confit, Seafood risotto, Beef cheek Bourguignon and Crème brûlée will make you feel like a million bucks!

The Fumbally

With a price as low as 6 euro, the Fumbally eggs give pricey brunch places a run for their money. And they taste DIVINE.

It was just so good last week I had to come back for more. It's birth week after all!

Bunsen

While Cork can now rejoice to have their own joint, Dubliners have been loving Bunsen’s tasty burgers – all under 10 euros – for quite a while. Rightfully so.

The Big Blue Bus

Hidden inside the Bernard Shaw, this place delivers some seriously tasty pizza that you can enjoy sitting on the boot of a really cool 1979 double decker bus. From Monday to Friday 5 to 7pm, a pizza and a pint will only cost you 12 euros.

More food. Surprise Surprise

Octopussy

In the Howth harbour, Octopussy looks like a cute fisherman’s shed and offers the freshest and most delicious seafood. With their early bird menu, you can enjoy two “tapas” dishes and a glass or wine for 17 euros per person. An absolute bargain!

Bow Lane

This late night cocktail bar on Aungier Street offers an early bird menu with amazing value. With 2 courses for 19.50 euros and 3 courses for 24.50 euros, enjoy a Pork Belly, a Pan-fried fillet of hake  and a Dark chocolate pavé zero-guilt involved!

Chez Max

This traditional French brasserie on Baggot Street serves homemade French dishes with a Parisian flair. For 19 euros per person, the early bird menu includes the likes of a Soupe à l’oignon, delicious Escargots and a Bœuf bourguignon. That's really a cheap trip to the City of light.

We rarely give credit to our small green isle, but looking at this video, there's so much more to Ireland than we even know.

For the week that's in it, the Irish government picked a pretty opportune time to launch Ireland.ie, a new government initiative aimed at making creativity the centre of the public domain in the country.

The Creative Ireland Programme is urging everyone to get involved, and have built five pillars of inspiration and focus.

The five-year plan aims to bring an "enhanced level of coordination, focus and leadership to existing policies and initiatives across national and local government, State agencies, the arts and culture sector, Gaeltacht and Irish language organisations."

In the promotion video, stars such as director Lenny Abrahamson, Bill Whelan, surfer Easkey Britton and Irish fiction writer Anne Enright all take part. The Villagers also lent their talents to the music behind the video.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny debuted the website last night in Washington DC, and it has since been growing great momentum online.

However, it is not only promoting Irish talent, the five minute video also gives a glimpse into the stunning sights of Ireland, and it captured some truly stunning scenes.

Take a few minutes out to enjoy the video, and have a look at the new initiatives Ireland will be rolling out by the end of this year.

However, we've thought of quite a few options for the teetotallers who walk among us.

10. An online shopping spree

Black Friday and New Years are usually when the sales commence, but one online store is doing n offer for Saint Patrick's Day.

9. The Secret Session, 1618 March, the RDS

A true celebration of everything Irish, this indoor festivity is set to be a good one.

8. Netflix binge

Netflix is getting all patriotic, and hopes to everything that is Irish by promoting  great Irish films and flicks with Irish actors in them.

Brooklyn, The Young Offenders, Bloody Sunday and Sing Street are all available on Netflix, along with many more.

7. Dublin Bay Prawn Festival, 1719 March, Howth Village

The Dublin Bay Prawn Festival is the ultimate foodie experience offering delicious food and live cooking demos, street entertainment and demonstrations by local fishermen all in the heart of the idyllic village of Howth.

6. Outdoor Adventuring

While most people will flock in to town for some frenzied festivities, a nice walk along the beach or a picnic in the park can be just as merry.

Grab the kids, the other half or the dog and set out on a bright and blustery Paddy's Day adventure.

Alternatively if you're a fan of organised fun, book in to an adventure centre for some canoeing or rock climbing.

5. The Spirit of Dublin Craft and Food Fair, March 18, Teeling Whiskey Distillery

A post shared by Currabinny (@currabinny) on

While this festival may be at a whiskey distillery, we're going to this one for the amazing food alone.

Exhibitors will include Dublin Doughnut Company, Dot Brew, Popsy Daisy Popcorn, The Cupcake Bloke, Currabinny, Bean and Goose, Hope Brewery, Improper Butter and Delish Melish, so wear your (green) eating pants.

4. Settle in with the Late Late Show St.Patrick's Day Edition

On a weird and wonderful edition of the Late Late Show, Saint Patrick's Day's show will see a host of celebs get their DNA tested.

Broadcaster Maura Derrane, soccer pundit Eamon Dunphy, comedian Jason Byrne and politician Michael Healy-Rae gamely agreed to have their DNA tested to determine their ancestry.

Football legend Paul McGrath will also join Ryan Tubridy in studio to assess the Republic of Ireland’s chances in the crucial upcoming World Cup Qualifier against Wales.

3. Bake some patriotic AF goods

From shamrock cookies to anything drenched in green food dye, if you don't want to leave the house this Friday, then baking is a fun and functional way to spend the day.

Plus, you will be considered a complete legend by you drunk housemates when they stumble home to find a series of delectable baked goods awaiting them.

1. St Patricks Day Parade

A post shared by Dober Man (@david_k_hobby) on

While there may be many annoying drunk people around, attending your local Saint Patrick's Day parade is a right of passage for anyone in the country on the day.
