Pinterest is the perfect destination for inspiration – from baby names to home decorations.

However, if you have been planning a wedding, or engagement, then Pinterest will literally be your new bible.

It is bursting with stunning ideas about wedding venues, dresses, bouquets and, of course, engagement rings.

And while we appreciate a woman's desire to be an individual, we wanted to share with you the MOST pinned engagement ring on Pinterest, for inspiration purposes.

Sylvia Billone’s engagement ring has been saved a whopping 103,900 times on Pinterest, making it the most popular rock on the site.

According to the Daily Mail, the stunning solitaire ring is 1.22 karats with a two-millimetre rose gold band and was made custom for the bride.

Silvia did not reveal the cost of her exquisite ring, but we can pretty much guarantee that it was not cheap (shocking).

However, she is definitely on trend, with Pinterest's 2017 wedding report citing rose and pink shades as this years hottest wedding theme.

This news also comes a few months after Pinterest revealed the most popular bridesmaid dress on the site, which was a simple rose-coloured floor length gown.

The floor-length dress comes complete with a lace illusion neckline, crisscross pleated bodice, chiffon skirt and a centre back zip – and has been pinned over 170,000 times.

The world's most coveted bridesmaid dress is priced at a surprisingly reasonable £120 – glorious news, right?

It's a common opinion that white bread is less healthy than brown, wholemeal, or sour dough, and one team of scientists decided to test the throry.

Scientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science assessed the nutritional levels in a group of test patients, to see exactly what the difference is between white bread and brown.

The results? They found it made pretty much no difference to their health.

The carb connoisseurs decided to test whether or not white bread actually had a significantly lower nutritional value than brown in a human diet.

To do so, they split 20 volunteers into two groups and asked half to eat whole-wheat sourdough for a week, while the others had white bread.

They then switched for a second week, so each group had one week on white and one week on fancy sour dough.

The researchers then tested a number of markers in the two groups to assess their nourishment levels at the end of each week.

They looked at the participants' vitamin, mineral, fat and cholesterol levels.

Despite popular belief that white bread is less healthy, the team found no significant difference between the two groups at the end of the experiment.

'The initial finding, and this was very much contrary to our expectation, was that there were no clinically significant differences between the effects of these two types of bread on any of the parameters that we measured,' Researcher Eran Segal told The Sun.

'We looked at a number of markers, and there was no measurable difference in the effect that this type of dietary intervention had.'

'The findings for this study are not only fascinating but potentially very important – different people react differently, even to the same foods.'

The UK General Election is underway, with the votes being counted and announced over the course of the day.

One interesting development so far is that fact that the UK parliament will have its highest-ever number of female MPs after this election.

The intake for 2017 has surpassed 200 female parliament members.

This just outstrips the 196 women elected to the House of Commons in the last election.

'It shows there is much more to be done to achieve gender equality in politics and public life,’ chief executive of the Electoral Reform Society Katie Ghose told The Metro.

‘Whatever the result on June 8 – and it looks like there will be a small rise in the proportion of women elected – parties need to up their game, not just for the next Parliamentary elections but for our local councils, metro mayor roles and institutions across the UK.'

‘We cannot settle for incremental change. It’s time for some real momentum on women’s representation in politics.’

Move over rainbow flags, The Babadook is the new symbol of the LGBTQ community.

The ghoulish demon has become somewhat of a gay icon this month after a number of memes showing the character standing in front of a rainbow background went viral.

The Babadook is a character at the centre of the 2014 horror film of the same name, who comes to life in the form of a children's pop-up book.

But how did this unusual character become the face of Pride 2017 we hear you ask?

Well, it all dates back to last October when a photo showing the horror film listed under the LGBT section on Netflix, circulated online.

And with the arrival of June, widely recognised as LGBTQ Pride month, The Babadook memes are back once again

Of course, Twitter is loving it.

There is nothing more uncomfortable than being pressed up against the window of the Luas thanks to the vastly spread legs of the man sitting beside you.

Being confronted with a full frontal view of a crotch definitely isn't what we need to be seeing at 8am, thanks though.

The phenomenon of manspreading – the act where men open their legs as wide as is gymnastically possible while on public transport – has been recognised as an issue by the Madrid government.

The city has officially banned the act on trains and buses (much to the delight of the extra people who can now sit comfortably while trying to get from A to B).

The city’s Municipal Transportation Company plan on installing new signs in all its carriages and transport vehicles.

The women of Madrid have been petitioning for months to have the issue addressed, creating a change.org campaign and hashtag to call attention to manspreading.

'Manspreading is the practice of certain men sitting with their legs wide open on public transport, taking up other people’s space,' reads their manifesto.

'It is not something that occurs sporadically, if you pay attention you’ll see that it is a very common practice.'

The ban was introduced by Spanish left-wing party Podemo.

'We believe that putting a name to, and making visible these kinds of daily sexist behaviour that go unnoticed, is the way ahead to become more aware, seeing what we used not to see and leaving inequality and machismo behind,' said Clara Serra of Podemo, according to Newstalk.

Last week, 12-year-old, Allie Sherlock, went viral when a video of busking on Dublin's Grafton Street received over 1.2 million views on Facebook.

The Cork native stunned audiences across the world with her version of Ed Sheeran's Supermarket Flowers, and it seems her stellar performance even caught the eye of US talk-show host, Ellen DeGeneres.

According to reports, producers of The Ellen Show approached Allie with an offer to appear on the show.

However, the 12-year-old turned down the opportunity, saying that singing is just a hobby.

She told the Evening Echo, "I don't want it to be a professional career but I'd like to do it, just as a hobby. I'd like to do childcare because my auntie owns a creche,"

"I want to keep practising all the time and singing and so it's like a hobby really. Maybe I'll do weddings. I'd like to see what happens in the future before deciding anything."

Her father, Mark also went on to say that Allie is still young, and see music as a fun pastime.

"There's been a few people on to us about different things. She had the Ellen Show in America contact her but she's only 12 and she just enjoys a bit of busking.

"My main thing is that Allie continues to be Allie because she's a child. She enjoys her singing and as soon as it isn't fun anymore, that would be the end of it."

"Her plan is to do childcare, she would love that. Music is second. She might go to college and maybe head into town busking and earn herself a few quid."

Now, that's fair enough, but if The Ellen Show ever came knocking on our door, we'd be on the first flight to LA, no questions asked.

For anyone under the age of four, napping in public can be a real struggle.

Whether it's a packed Luas, or a sterile waiting room, it's not easy to find a comfortable place to get those Zzzz.

Not content with this utter nonsense, one woman has taken it upon herself to banish this problem for good.

Simone Giertz (AKA our new favourite person), has just invented the full-body mattress.

The genius innovator simply cuts a large piece of foam in the shape of her body, then secures it in place with straps around her waist, legs and head.

Now, we'll be honest, it looks a bit ridiculous.

However, we're willing to look past this one tiny flaw in order to appreciate its endless potential.

What's more, Simone has even designed a detachable cape for 'snuggling', because what good is a nap without a blanket to cuddle into?

The bizarre product has certainly stirred up some conversation online, with many sceptics questioning its practicality.

But, for the most part, people have been praising Simone for her solution to this very real, everyday problem.

We couldn't agree more, Jean.
