"This is an isolated incident and only the above products manufactured in the Netherlands are impacted. No other varieties of chocolate, pack formats or bar sizes are affected in Ireland," read a statement released by Mars Ireland.

When one Dingle man innocently posted an advertisement to the Dingle What's On page, he probably did not expect it to garner the reaction it has.

Having had over 8.5 thousand reactions at the time of writing and picked up by national news websites, it's safe to say his wife at home is going to be less than impressed.

The couple had recently adopted a little pup only to find out that Siobhan was in fact allergic to dogs. But instead of posting a straight forward ad to the page, this cheeky husband instead decided to have a little fun.

This is Lexi, she's an 8 week-old German Sheppard, I bought Lexi as a surprise for my wife but it turns out she is…

Posted by Dingle What's On on Thursday, February 18, 2016

"This is Lexi, she's an 8 week-old German Sheppard," begins the seemingly innocuous post.

"I bought Lexi as a surprise for my wife but it turns out she is allergic to dogs so we are now looking to find her a new home.

"Her name is Siobhan, she is 39 years old, a beautiful and caring woman who drives, is a great cook and keeps a good house."

Touché, good sir.

Though many of the commenters are now commending the man's bravery considering the wrath that may be felt when he returns home.

"Celibacy is in your future," said one poster, to which the man responds: "If she gets hold of me I don't think I'll have anything to be uncelibate with!"

Ouch, but we still can't blame him. Just LOOK at that pup's little face…

We all love chocolate. And to be honest, we'd eat a big chocolate cake everyday if our hips would allow us.

But there's a new controversial ingredient which one baker believes is the key to a "chocolate nirvana."

Are you ready for it? … You're going to squirm… OK, it's mayonnaise.

"Now before you go and turn your nose up, I want you to understand why mayonnaise is used to make some of the finest chocolate cake you'll ever experience," said Mirabile, an American baker.

Mirabile also explained to Country Living that the sandwich spread acts as a substitute for the oil that's normally used in chocolate cake. It balances out the sugar and stops the cake from becoming too dry.

Well, do you think you would be brave enough? We're ready for "chocolate nirvana," but we're not so sure about mayo.

Dog lovers and coffee lovers alike, we've found your new weekend hangout spot.

Dublin's Clanbrassil St has just become the city's most dog-friendly street, thanks to not one but two businesses in the area. Pupp opened last week, on the very same day that MVP, a bar just up the road, announced it was reversing its HSE-led decision and would be allowing dogs back on the premises again.

Describing itself as a "café for dog lovers," Pupp serves up coffees, cakes and other breakfast/lunch delights (for humans and canines) alongside a pretty snazzy doggy boutique.

So if you want a funky three-way leash, a gorgeous collar made from a woven Bolivian blanket, or just a flat white and the chance to ogle the café's resident corgi cross-breed Toby, head to 37 Clanbrassil St, ASAP.

Dog-friendliness has become something of a contentious issue in Ireland's capital of late, after a HSE crackdown saw a number of pubs and cafés told they could not longer allow owners to bring dogs onto their premises.

The general policy has previously (at least informally) been that pub/café owners make their own decision on whether dogs should be allowed, based on their own assessment of the risks involved. A petition to allow dog-friendly pubs and cafés to be officially made legal here already has over 7,000 signatures.

Pupp is open from 8am – 4pm every weekday (except Tuesday), and is open on weekends from 9am – 4pm.

You can also access the doggy boutique online at Pupp.ie.

So it seems that Pierce Brosnan's son Dylan is not only genetically and vertically blessed, but also happens to be multi-talented.

And of course, no one is prouder of his son and his many talents than his dad who regularly takes to social media to proclaim his children's many achievements.

The Irish posted the news on Instagram last night about Dylan's musical ventures on Soundcloud under the name Raspbery Blonde.

"The music of Dylan Brosnan," said the Drogheda native on his Instagram as he promoted his son's new material.

The 19-year-old, who is Pierce's eldest son from his second marriage, has also been making waves in the fashion industry due to his good looks and tall stature.

Dylan recently made a big break in his modelling career when he was featured in Burberry's SS campaign late last year.

Donning a classic trench and little else, it's safe to say that the rising star certainly has a future in modelling if his music career doesn't take off.

It has been a bit of a roller-coaster few days for Demi Lovato who has been faced with the full wrath of Taylor Swift fans the world over.

While Taylor has managed to stay mum on the whole situation, Demi has been anything but quiet.

It all began when Demi ousted Taylor for not speaking out about Kesha's ongoing court battle considering she describes herself as a feminist.

And it seemed that Taylor got the message loud and clear as she donated around 225 thousand euro to Kesha's legal fund the day after the comment was made.

However, Demi was of course was still not at all impressed by the gesture.

Having received ongoing grief from Taylor fans, she was so angered that she even defended herself in the comments section of a Taylor fan on Instagram.

"Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. At least I speak up about sh*t that’s uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7.

"There’s no ’rivalry’ I just give more f*cks than other people and would rather start a dialogue ABOUT WOMEN COMING FORWARD ABOUT BEING RAPED than throw money at one person."

As most people know, I tend to get fired up about the things I believe in, and although my heart and intentions are always in the right place, unfortunately sometimes my passion gets the best of me and causes me to say things that I probably shouldn't say. And when doing so it takes away from the real reason I am speaking up in the first place. Our focus should be on the topic of victims of sexual and physical abuse being afraid to come forward with their stories. They're more likely to face retaliation and harassment than to see justice being served. Especially women. It baffles me that when it comes to serious issues like equality and abuse, too often women are not taken as seriously as men. All I want to see is women coming together and actually making a difference. A real change and shift in society. Everyone has their own way of giving support to others , and at the end of the day, helping victims is all that matters. Ultimately, the message I want people to hear is it's okay to come forward with your abuse and if you do decide to take action, you are not alone.

"I didn’t shade Taylor. If you take it that way than fine. I’m just tired of seeing women use ‘women empowerment’ and ‘feminism’ to further brands without actually being the ones that have the uncomfortable conversations.

"I get shade and I don’t give a fuck because someone has to be the one to take it. At least I’m getting my hands dirty."

Demi took to Instagram again last night to post an image of visualised rape statistics as she tried to make the conversation about rape victims rather than a Taylor/ Demi feud.

Next month will mark seven years since TV personality Jade Goody tragically died from cervical cancer, and today her husband Jack Tweed shared a heartbreaking tribute.

The couple married on February 22, 2009, exactly a month before Jade's death. On the day they married, Jade sadly discovered that her cancer had spread and become terminal.

"Married this angel seven years ago today," Jack reminisced on Instagram next to a snap of himself and Jade, who had lost her hair from chemo by that stage.

The pair began dating in 2006 when Jack was just 19, and he spent various spells in prison during their three year relationship.

Prior to meeting Jack, Jade dated fellow TV personality Jeff Brazier, with whom she had two sons, Bobby, now 12, and Freddie, now 11.

Jeff, now a life coach, spoke last year about how has tried to keep the boys' mum's memory alive – but admitted it hasn't always been easy.

"On the 15th of each month that's 'mummy day'. We can talk about her obviously at any time and we do, but the 15th of the month means we are particularly focused on it.

"It's hurting them more not to talk about it than it is to actually put it down on paper and do something with it."

In case you were not familiar with every inch of Gigi Hadid's body, the model has quite an impressive array of moles and freckles scattered across her chest, arms and stomach and well, fans just love them.

However, many brands keeps messing with those moles and people just can't understand it.

While she is not missing a limb or been transformed into a stick figure of herself as we are used to seeing with photoshop fails, fans are still not happy that people are removing those darn gorgeous moles.

The latest offender is Vogue China, who clearly photoshopped Gigi's stomach to be smooth, pale and totally mole-free.

And fans were quick to point out the discrepancies: "Can't believe they photoshopped your moles out and u still promote it. how sad seriously" said one angry Instragrammer.

But Vogue China is certainly not the first company to play around with Gigi's natural aesthetics, as evidenced by a simple scroll through her feed.

Other serial offenders include Gigi's massive campaign with Victoria's Secret last year as well as earlier shoots with Sports Illustrated.

Aidan Turner has leapt into fame since starring in Poldark, but that doesn't mean he can hold his drink.

The producer of the show, Karen Thrussell, revealed to Radio Times that she held a party for the cast and crew to watch the final episode of the first series last year.

And while they watched the show, they decided to play a splendid drinking game.

The rules of the game were very simple. Aidan had to take a drink whenever he was seen riding a horse and any time he shared a saddle, too.

Now, if you're a fan of Poldark, you'll know that he rides a horse A LOT in the last episode – so it's fair to say he got absolutely hammered.

We bet he's hoping for less horse riding next season.

The internet has been alight with outbursts of support for singer Kesha as she fights be released from her recording contract with Sony music.

On Friday the Tik Tok singer's contract was upheld by a New York judge and reams of fans and celebrities alike came out in support of the star.

However, it seems that record producer Dr. Luke, who has remained silent throughout the dispute, has finally had his say as he took to Twitter yesterday,

The renowned producer, who has created hit songs for the likes of Katy Perry and Jessie J, has been accused of drugging and raping Kesha while they were working together.

The renowned producer suggested that Kesha is using the allegations as a tool to get out of a record contract that has turned sour. He pointed out that the singer had denied any claims she had been intimate with the producer during a separate case in 2011.

The court case is ongoing but with Taylor Swift having just donated 250k to her legal fund and with the support of all social media, we're pretty sure Kesha will fight this one out to the bitter end.
