According to numerous emerging reports, David Gest has died at the age of 62.

It is understood that the reality television star and music producer was found dead at the Four Seasons hotel in Canary Wharf, London earlier today.

Releasing a statement to the press, a Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed: "Police were called at 10.17 on Tuesday 12 April to the Four Seasons hotel, in Westferry Circus, E14, to reports of an unexplained death of a man in his 60s."

"London Ambulance Service were called to the scene. Life was pronounced extinct at the hotel," he added.

Commenting on the tragic news, David's friend Imad Handi said: 'It is with great sadness that I can confirm that David Gest has died today. David was truly larger than life. He was not just a huge talent and a dear friend but a showbiz icon."

 

David Gest, who was once married to singer Liza Minnelli, most recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother before leaving two weeks into the series, and his former housemates have wasted no time expressing their condolences.

Una Healy has fast become the favourite judge on The Voice of Ireland, and now the flame-haired beauty is about to debut a solo track.

RTÉ took to Instagram earlier to say they were excited to hear Una's new song on the singing contest this weekend.

“Excited to hear @UnaHealy’s new solo material in her live performance this Sunday on The Voice of Ireland! #rtethevoice".

Una opened up about her solo career lately, telling Goss about her new album: “It’s a singer-song-writer style, but because I have done so much pop with The Saturdays, there’s definitely influences of that too,” she said.

“I wrote the songs myself and I’m putting it together. It’s more organic than anything I’ve done before with the band.”

Glee fans, look away now because we're not sure if you'll be able for this.

Paying tribute to her former boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith, Lea Michelle took to Instagram this afternoon to share a sneak peek of a recent tat which honours the late Canadian star.

After sharing a snap of a tattoo which paid tribute to her late grandmother, the 29-year-old star then uploaded a black and white shot of the number five in a move which has touched the hearts of fans and followers all over the world.

Accompanying the latest shot with a short, but moving explanation, the Scream Queens star made reference to Cory's character on Glee writing: "And one more.. for my Quarterback..#5."

Bowled over by the sweet tat which honours Finn's team number on the hugely popular show, one fan wrote: "There goes my heart."

"My heart just broke into a million pieces, this is so wonderful," added another.

31-year-old Cory died in July 2013 following a heroin and alcohol overdose.

It seems like it's not all rainbows and sunshine in Stars Hollow at the moment.

We (and the rest of the world) are super excited for the Gilmore Girls reunion episodes on Netflix, but one man wants some money for them.

Former producer Gavin Polone has filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros claiming that he didn't receive compensation for the show's revival.

He's suing the company for $195,000 (€170,000) and also wants to lawsuit to go to trial, according to Deadline.

"Upon learning that production had begun on the Subsequent Episodes, plaintiff’s representative reached out to defendant regarding plaintiff’s compensation under the Operative Agreement," the court documents read.

Gavin was an executive producer on show for all seven seasons from 2000 to 2007.

When you're wandering around Dublin Zoo, it's safe to say you expect a nice and calm day walking around the grounds.

Well, one little girl was out of luck during the week when she went to see the tigers. The big bad cats broke out in a row and terrified the little girl who ended up running away.

According to the Daily Mail, the toddler's parents captured the footage and uploaded it to YouTube over the weekend, where it has been shared thousands of times.

We have to say, if tigers broke out into a fight while we were there, we'd probably run away too.

Three Irish students who narrowly escaped with their lives following the Berkeley tragedy last summer have taken legal action against two of the companies involved in the incident.

Blackrock, the proprietors of the Library Gardens apartments, and Greystar, the Library Gardens managers are being sued by Aisling Tallon, Caroline Conlan and Cliodhna Maloney who claim they suffered 'severe mental and emotional harm' as a result of the harrowing event.

According to RTÉ, the three young women stepped off the fourth floor balcony mere moments before it collapsed during a 21st birthday party on June 16th in an incident which claimed the lives of five Irish J1 students and one Irish-American student.

The students, who shared an apartment with another of the tragedy's survivors, have initiated legal proceedings in the California Superior Court in Almeda County, saying they 'seen, heard and felt the collapse of the balcony, followed by seeing and hearing their dearest friends plummet to the ground below".

According to attorneys representing the three Irish women, the balcony had exhibited signs of severe water damage for more than ten years – something which the owners of the property are purported to have been aware of.

Ashley Donohoe, Olivia Burke, Eoghan Culligan, Niccolai Schuster, Lorcán Miller and Eimear Walsh all lost their lives in last summer's tragedy.

It seems that Harry Potter fans are more against each other than Gryffindor and Slytherin. Some fans went mental yesterday when JK Rowling revealed who her favourite character was in the book.

One fan asked the author who she liked the best (apart from Harry, obvz) and she replied, Dumbledore.

We love Dumbledore, he practically took Harry under his wing and saved him countless times. And yes, it was heartbreaking when he died in the arms of Severus Snape (even though we knew he was going to die because he was wearing a cursed ring).

Put all that together, along with some angry fans (who really hold a grudge) and JK Rowling was bombarded with disgust:

After she shared a very emotional post on Instagram (reportedly about her ex-hubby Lamar), it seemed that all Khloe Kardashian wanted to do was kick back and have a few drinks with friends.

But that also included her on/off-flame French Montana as the reality star and rapper were spotted on a night out in LA.

 Khloé, looking a tad worse for wear (but not as bad as we all look coming from Coppers) was holding onto a male friend as French led the way to their cars.

On Sunday morning, Khloé took to Instagram to share a rather angry note: "It doesn't matter how loyal you are to someone. You can't change someone's heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves," it began.

"We have to learn to stop taking on peoples problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back."
