Ky was not the only party guest dressed up as the birthday girl, with Jordyn Woods wearing a "Genie in a Bottle" costume… very good.

She has had a very tough year, and Kesha is not afraid to admit to it.

The Timber star has gone viral this weekend, after delivering the most powerful speech at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.

Accepting her Trailblazer Award, the 29-year-old was incredibly emotional as she touched on everything from overcoming her eating disorder to acknowledging her self-worth.

“I feel stuck and I feel sad…I didn’t really feel like standing up and getting an award – didn’t feel worthy of that. I knew I had to drag myself out of my bed, put on my damn boots and walk up here tonight and say thank you…Thank you for reminding me that what I’m doing is worth it,” she began, to rapturous applause from the audience.

She went on to say that, after being through a ‘long rollercoaster ride of ups and downs’, she now knows she needs to use her voice for ‘good’ and for the ‘truth’.

The singer then turned to the subject of her eating disorder, and sent a powerful message about society’s skewed view of body image.

“When I was very, very sick and getting sicker, I’d hear about how better and better I was looking. And that is a problem. I’ve decided I want to be part of that solution,” she said.

She added: “That’s why I’ve decided to stand confident in my ever-changing, totally imperfect body and try to live up to and practice the self-worth and self-love that I preach in my music.”

The star came in for major praise over on Twitter, with many hailing her speech as ‘amazing’.

One amazing YouTuber has done the work, changing the music in the trailer for Hilary Duff's greatest movie (too right), and all of a sudden, we're all a little uncomfortable. 

Elle Mills, the genius behind this video, re-imagined Paolo (teen heartthrob/ total spoofer) as a malicious villain with an extra-sinister agenda.

OK ladies, we're all for new flavoured vodka (we're talking like mango and raspberry) but this company has gone too far.

The Alaska Distillery has developed a smoked salmon flavoured vodka… and we are retching at the thought, to be honest.

That's right people, if you have ever wondered what a vodka infused with seafood was like… look no further.

 The company website describes the drink as "surprising, daring and outside the box"… you can say that again, lads.

In fairness to the people at The Alaska Distillery, they do offer some lovely flavours such as cranberry vodka and honey vodka.. so it's not all bad news.

This freakish alcoholic creation is currently only available in select American retailers (thank God).

However, if you find yourself more intrigued than grossed out, certain retailers are selling this fishy vodka online– with prices starting around the €23 mark.

Just a day after comedian Des Bishop revealed that he will be taking part in Ireland’s first ever Dancing With the Stars, two more contestants have been unveiled.

Soap stars Aoibhín Garrihy and Denise McCormack have confirmed that they will be fox-trotting onto our screens on January 8.

Aoibhín, who is best known for her role as Neasa Dillon in Fair City, said she is ‘delighted’ to be involved in the show.

You will also no doubt recognise Denise from her current role on Red Rock, as well as her award-winning turn on the cult-hit show Love/Hate.

Denise is clearly excited to put her dancing talents to the test, admitting that it is ‘such a privilege’ to be taking part in the show.

The line-up is shaping up to be a real good ‘un, with Des Bishop’s inclusion proving particularly popular among viewers at home.

“I’ll be watching this!” one Facebook user wrote yesterday, after the big reveal.

Another chimed in: “Me too! He’s just getting better looking with age!”

Social media is awash with support for Louis Tomlinson tonight, following his debut solo performance on The X Factor.

Louis took to the stage to perform Just Hold On, his collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki, and it's safe to say it was an emotional moment.

The star powered through his performance, but it was clear that emotions were running high for him in the wake of his beloved mum Johannah's passing.

Louis' brave face did not go unnoticed by the Twitter world, with users taking to the social media site to pay tribute to his strength.

Once the performance was over, head judge Simon Cowell took the opportunity to pay tribute to both Louis and his late mother.

"I've known you now for six years…What you have just done – the bravery…I respect you as a person and as an artist," said Simon.

At this point, Louis was given a supportive hug by Steve, as Simon added: "Your mum was so proud of you."

It is also reported that Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Liam Payne were all in the audience to support their former bandmate.

December 10 marked International Human Rights Day, and people took the opportunity to voice their opinions about abortion on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Repeal the 8th supporters donned their Repeal Project  jumpers in honour of the day, and debate roared on the social media site about one of Ireland's most controversial topics. 

While it's definitely a touchy subject on Irish shores, the Repeal the 8th movement has gained a lot of support since it's founding, with Repeal jumpers becoming the failsafe way to wear your political opinions on your sleeve (literally). 

Pro-choice supporters took the opportunity to use the #HumanRightsDay hashtag to further the cause of reproductive rights, after the United Nations called Ireland's abortion ban "cruel, inhumane and degrading" back in July; this came after Irish woman Amanda Mellet filed a complaint with the UN, when she was forced to "travel" for a termination. 

Amanda complained that the State’s ban on abortion had violated her human rights under international law, and the United Nation's Human Rights Committee agreed.

Both sides were out in force on the hashtag, as pro-life advocates used anonymous accounts to voice their opinions on the matter. 

"The right to life is the biggest and most important human right abortion takes that away abortion destroys human right," said one.

While he may be renowned for his unbeatable MMA fighting skills and posing with wads of cash, the notorious one has a whole other skill set we never thought possible.

Taking to Twitter, the MMA champ posted a picture, showing off his pyjamas as he reads a newspaper on a private jet.

What we didn't know about the fighter is that he can read upside down, as the photo shows the Irish hero concentrating on his paper, completely the wrong way around.

Fans were quick to point out the champ's previously unknown skill, saying: "The man can do it all!"

"When you get hit on the head too many times and can't read anymore," said another.

We're hoping that the MMA winner is just reading the crossword answers and hasn't had an embarrassing picture posing slip-up.

Scarlett Moffat emerged from the I'm a Celeb… jungle last week to be crowned the winner of the entire show.

The author and fake tan fanatic found fame thanks to her hilarious one-liners and relatable personality on hit TV show Gogglebox, which shows people's reactions to various television shows.

On the most recent episode, the Gogglebox stars watched as Scarlett won the I'm a Celeb… crown, which includes a cash prize of £1 million. 

The Gogglebox families were slated online for their reactions to the reality TV star's win, as most families didn't react very positively when the 24-year-old emerged the winner.

"Could The Michaels have been less pleased at a fellow Goggleboxer's win on I'm A Celeb…? Petty jealousy #Gogglebox," one fan tweeted.

"You'd think the Gogglebox lot would be excited for Scarlett their reactions were so dim & full of envy," said another. 

However, some Gogglebox fans didn't agree with the criticism, with one tweeter saying: "People are trying to create drama, the reaction to Scarlett winning from the families on #Gogglebox was nice. I didn't detect any 'jealousy'!"

Scarlett sacrificed her place on Gogglebox to appear on I'm A Celebrity…, though she admitted she hopes to return to the series. 

The cool reaction comes after viewers took to Twitter last week to voice their opinions about I'm a Celeb… being a fix.

The new trailer for Fast & Furious 8 will drop in just a few days and, as excitement is rising for the latest instalment, fans are intrigued by the flick's new title.

And what about the title? Well, it's not Fast & Furious anymore – it's The Fate of the Furious.
