Matthew McConaughey was gushing over his wife, Brazilian born Camila Alves on twitter.

While it is not a terribly uncommon occurrence to hear the McConaughey spouses speaking so highly of each other, Matthew had a very special reason to celebrate yesterday.

The usually private actor shared a very cute snap on social media to welcome his wife to the U.S as an official citizen.

The 33-year old model and mom of three children was spotted in a U.S courthouse after she received her official citizenship.

She said: “First day back and look what I just went thru. It is with great pride and honor that I am happy to say I now hold an American passport!”

When Camilla first arrived in the U.S she worked as a maid before she and Matthew married in 2012. The couple are parents to three children; Levi, Vida and Livingston.

In 2013 Camilla said that when she first moved from Brazil she could speak very little English at 15 years old but after years of hard work she managed to get her career in modelling to take off.

The former World’s Sexiest Man Alive titleholder Matthew seemed to be a very proud husband indeed as he wrote his welcome message for his nearly 2 million followers to see.

What happened to Lenny Kravitz really isn't ideal while performing to a huge crowd of people.

He was in concert in Stockholm when he trousers seriously let him down when he dipped low with his guitar. 

The pants completely split revealing his man hood to the thousands of people watching, who now know he likes to go commando. 

Following the mishap during American Woman, we're sure Lenny will think twice about wearing extremely tight leather pants in the future.

Immediately after the gig, Lenny got a text from his good pal Steve Tyler who is complaining that he never showed him. 

'Dude…No underwear and pierced…F*** me.. You never showed me that s***,' Tyler wrote.

Lenny posted a screen shot of the text on Twitter last night without comment except for the hashtag which has been hugely trending since the incident #PenisGate

We’ve all been there at some point, the frustration mounting when you just can’t get your bag to close and you have to leave the house 30 minutes ago. It can be a bit stressful, and you feel like you cannot sacrifice even one item or else the whole thing is ruined.

Well, it seems that celebrities can identify with our pain.

62-year old actor Pierce Brosnan was attempting to catch a flight from Vermont with his son Paris, 14, when they were stopped by airport security.

The Daily Mail Online reports that Pierce was taken aside when a weapon showed up during a baggage scan.

The Mamma Mia actor was reportedly carrying a large hunting knife when TSA officials stopped him from proceeding through security.

An eyewitness has said that Pierce was “furious” when questioned about the knife. It was supposedly five inches when folded but when extended proved to be ten inches in length.

The seasoned Irish actor was reportedly shocked at the turn of events and was apparently overheard saying to his son “I can’t believe they’re doing this.”

It is thought he was travelling to Detroit and reports say he was spotted whispering to the officer before they confiscated the knife. It doesn’t seem like celebrity status was enough to get him out of a second screening with security officials.

Following his second round of questions from TSA officials it seems Pierce was then allowed to continue to the gate with his son to board their flight.

As of yet there has been no comment from Pierce’s camp regarding the airport incident.

Perrie Edwards has finally spoken out about her split from Zayn Malik following the news yesterday.

Little Mix appeared in an interview on E! in LA and Perrie was there looking gorgeous just hours after the news broke. 

The presenter asked her how she was as many fans are worried about her "Perrie, obviously I know it's a very tough time for you with the news breaking today about you and Zayn, so your fans I know are heartbroken," the presenter said.

"Everyone just kind of wants to know how you're feeling?" and she replied saying "I'm good, thank you".

One of her bandmates then came to the rescue before she was asked too many questions and she said "We don't really want to talk about it"

The presenter then said "You have your girls and I'm sure they're being a great support," before leaving the matter and moving on. 

The news broke yesterday that Perrie and Zayn had called of their relationship which ended after a two year engagement. 

Although the break-up was only announced to the public yesterday, it is thought that the couple ended things a few weeks ago. 

Their reason for calling it quits is still unknown however a source told Us Weekly that Zayn wanted to leave the past behind him. "He just wanted to move on and start over in all ways," the insider revealed.

Recently Kim Kardashian,34, travelled to New Orleans with some of her closet pals, including makeup artist Joyce Bonelli. Familiar faces Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck were also on hand to ensure the trip went smoothly for the pregnant reality TV star.

While the pals were out and about enjoying themselves as celebrities tend to do in the city, Kim also made sure she had time to fit in a very special visit.

Yesterday afternoon she tweeted a selfie with one of her fans. Not just any fan though, super-fan @MyleezaKardash is a newly turned 21-year old woman who also received a most special title on her big day: Kim’s favourite fan.

Kimmy K took the time to celebrate the fan’s big day with her and apparently the two got on like sisters.

According to the fan, Kim didn’t hold back and the two talked about everything you could imagine. On her twitter account she said they shared “SO much tea on everything imaginable. Like real friends do”.

She also dropped this nugget of information: “I asked was I her favourite and she said ‘yes! Without a doubt!”

So it sounds like the pair had a great time, right?

Actually, the get together backfired on poor Kim. Her other 34 million followers and fans were less than impressed with her playing favourites and she had to take to twitter herself to clear the air.

Well, now that we know Kim does read all those tweets and mentions we’re going to be curious to see what birthday party she’ll be popping up at next week.

If your commute to work involves driving around the college green area, you may have to change your plans. 

From next Monday on, construction of the new Luas line will be in full swing which will cause some disturbances to traffic. 

Motorists will be banned from driving through the College Green area during busy times from 7am-7pm Monday to Friday. Accessing this area will only be allowed for cyclists, buses and taxis.

Over 5.5km of new Luas lines are being laid and this will result to traffic being reduced to only one lane in some of the city's busiest spots according to the National Transport Authority. 

Work is currently underway on O' Connell Street and will being on Monday at College Green, Dawson Street, Hawkins Street and D'Olier Street. 

Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe acknowledged that problems are bound to arise during this €368m project, but that the long-term gain would be significant.

Iggy Azalea has been the subject of a lot of suspicion regarding whether she got plastic surgery or not for the past year. 

The singer has finally set the record straight and explained what procedures she has undergone in a bid to keep up with the cruel world of the music industry. 

Iggy has admitted to having a nose job done and she insists that people shouldn't be afraid to speak out about changing their body if they want to. 

The Fancy singer went under the knife to have her nose altered just months after admitting to having a boob job done. 

She said: "I’m not denying it. Denying it is lame. I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like with my breasts.

"Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time, so I think it’s important to wait and make sure it’s the right choice. Plastic surgery is an emotional journey."

She told Seventeen magazine: "It’s no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself – and it’s no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it’s a tough journey.

"There are things that I didn’t like about myself that I changed through surgery.

"There are other things I dislike but I’ve learned to accept. It’s important to remember you can’t change everything. You can never be perfect.

No he can officially add record breaker to his impressive CV, twice.

The 42-year old actor Idris Elba has become the first ever make to appear solo on the cover of Maxim magazine.

Speaking about the news, editor-in-chief Kate Lanphear said “we’ve never in US Maxim history had a man on the cover solo.”

Previously men have appeared but alongside women so Idris’ cover makes it a first in the magazine’s 20 year history. We’re pretty pleased about this too.

According to the magazine they couldn’t think of anyone else in the world “more badass” than Idris to take the spot.

Describing the actor, musician and race car driver as “complex” and “sophisticated”, editors said “he was really the perfect embodiment of what I think the new Maximman is.”

Underneath the headline ‘Man Up’ the popular TV star is sporting his trademark beard and cuts quite the stylish figure in a black and grey animal print jacket.

'The guy broke the [British] land speed record which hasn't been touched since like 1928. He's sort of a living, breathing superhero,' said the magazine.

In May The Wire actor drove across the Pendine Sands in Wales at 180.361 mph to break the world land speed record. In a Bentley Continental GT, as you do.

He tells the magazine: “I just like the velocity, and I guess I’m slightly addicted to the risk of it.”

While there were plenty of rumours that got everyone's hopes up that he would take on the role spy James Bond, he admitted he doesn't think that will happen. He will however be on our screens in Star Trek Beyond.

Another TV show, another scandal.

After quitting Fashion Police back in February following a misunderstanding in which she was blamed for Giuliana Rancic's racially insensitive comments about singer Zendaya, Kelly Osbourne has gone and gotten herself into another spot of trouble.

The TV personality was on The View yesterday when she made a comment about Latinos that her her co-hosts – and the audience – up in arms. Kelly was guest hosting the political chat show when she spoke out of turn while (ironically) discussing Donald Trump's negative stance on Mexican immigrants.

During a discussion about the Presidential hopeful's views, Kelly said, "In what way does he think that people are going to vote for him after he's just called them rapists and murderers? If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?"

Ouch. Her comment did not go down well with co-anchors Rosie Perez and Raven Symone, who were quick to point out that "cleaning toilets" was not the only occupation out there for Latinos.

Taking to Facebook this evening, Kelly apologised for her comments but said she was not a racist. "In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f**ked up today," she wrote.

Khloé Kardashian has been flaunting an incredibly toned and slimmed-down body in recent months, and she has finally revealed what motivated her to hit the gym. Just a week after getting oiled up and stripped off for Complex magazine, Khloe posed for another sexy shoot, this time with Women's Health.

Posing in an open denim shirt and a pair of skimpy black underwear, the reality star said exercise has become a huge outlet for her. It's something which has helped her to get over her rocky split from Lamar Odom, and to move on with new man James Harden.

But her gym addiction is by no means a new development. "It started around 2012," she explained to the magazine. "I was having a hard time with Lamar. It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much drama. I needed a release. At first it was so hard. It was baby steps, but I started feeling so much better."

The youngest Kardashian sister said it took her a while to start enjoying her workouts, especially once her trainer Gunnar Peterson began going hard on her. "The first 45 days you’re like, ‘F**k this s**t,'" she admitted. 

"You’re exhausted, you’re sore, and I actually felt fatter because I was swollen… If you keep going, you’re eventually like, ‘Wow, is that an indentation on my arm?'"

And as for the motivation behind her new look, the 31-year-old has no problem saying Lamar had a little something to do with it… though it's not all for him. "Yeah, it’s a revenge body. But it’s just as much for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one’ for my entire existence," she said.

Diet is just as much a part of any physical transformation as exercise is, but Khloé said she hasn't taken healthy eating to any crazy extremes just yet.

"I love treating myself. I’m a foodie," she explained. "If I could control what I eat, I would have the best body ever. But because I have no self-control, and I don’t really care to have it, I have to work harder. I would rather work out harder and eat what I want, in moderation… If I want a pizza, I’m gonna have it. So I had pizza last night and it made me very happy."

Khloé said she gets her large appetite from her family, but she is learning to educate herself more about food. "Being of Armenian descent, we don’t make small dinners," she said of family gatherings in Calabasas. "I love to cook and have my wine, but I’m more aware now."

We LOVE her new attitude… and her new look. Take that, Lamar.

First Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, then Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards… we're not sure we can take any more celebrity splits today, and so we were devastated to find out yet another relationship had ended.

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, folks, but it looks like Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy are no more. The iconic animal couple took to social media (of course) today to post an update that left us all in shock. 

"Here is the official statement on @KermitTheFrog and moi's relationship termination," wrote the world's most glam pig earlier this evening. Kermit also tweeted the same statement.

The puppet pair said they had made the "difficult decision" to end their relationship, which spans decades, after "careful though, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling."

Sadly for their fans, Kermit and Piggy confirmed they would now be "seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al."

IS NOTHING SACRED?!

While we are understandably broken by this sad news, it's worth noting that a new ABC mockumentary series about The Muppets premieres this fall… so the whole thing could very likely be a big publicity stunt.

We wish we could say the same for Zayn and Perrie's split…

Taylor Swift might have been crowned "captain of the #GirlSquad" by this month's Vanity Fair, but we reckon she has some serious competition in the form of Amy Schumer.

The comedian took a break from the promotional circuit for her new film Trainwreck last week to head to the Hamptons with a gang of her high school friends… and Jennifer Lawrence. NBD.

Instagram went into meltdown when Amy casually posted a photo of herself and J-Law riding a jetski with no explanation, but she finally set the record straight during an appearance on the Daily Show last night. "She's the coolest chick you'll ever meet. She's beautiful," said Amy of her new BFF, who she bumped into during her trip away and soon became firm pals with.

Amy also shared some never-seen-before shots of her and American Hustle star Jennifer, like this (blurry) holiday snap:

"So we go to the Hamptons, and Jennifer and I have become friends. I was like, 'Oh, we're going on a boat tour tomorrow. You should come.' It was kind of a hypothetical," Amy told Jon Stewart, "And she was like, 'I think I'm coming!'"

But while Amy might have taken the whole thing in her stride, her friends weren't quite so chill. "I filmed a video actually of my friends telling them that Jennifer Lawrence is going to be there," the 34-year-old admitted. "They're like nurses and teachers… and they were all like, screaming."

As well as the aforementioned jetski trip, Oscar winner Jennifer also joined Amy and her friends for a human pyramid picture:

Although we think the pair look like the perfect match, Amy said she was surprised by the reaction to her Instagram posts. "It was a complete viral thing. It's my picture next to Jennifer Lawrence's—like the last person you want to be next to…I look like her coach in all the pictures," she said. "I look like I'm telling her to take a knee, like, 'Listen, Jen!'"

Hilarious. Could we love the Amy/Jen pairing any more?!
