It looks as if sweet, gentle Taylor Swift has finally been pushed to her limit by rumours about her friendship with Karlie Kloss.

Photos of Taylor allegedly ‘kissing’ the Victoria’s Secret Angel – who also happens to be her housemate – began to circulate on the internet, and it wasn’t long before the rumours began.

Now, Taylor has had enough, and took to Twitter to blast the story in a very ‘Taylor’ way, writing: “As my 25th birthday present from the media, I’d like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty.”

Once again proving that she is hip and down with the kids, her hashtag was really calling out the media for being desperate – classic Taylor!

Meanwhile, the superstar announced exciting tour dates for Ireland, and we cannot frickin’ wait!

She’s no stranger to romance rumours, but Taylor Swift couldn’t hide her surprise when she heard the latest story being churned out.

The singer has been forced to deny that she and her model BFF, Karlie Kloss, are romantically involved, after a blurry photograph caused fans to jump to conclusions.

It all started when a fan shared a picture of what looks like the two ladies kissing to Twitter, with the caption: “Exclusive Taylor and Karlie making out #confirmed”.

However, all would-be fans of this coupling were left disappointed after a representative for the singer dismissed the rumours as “hilarious”.

Indeed, her rep would have the world know that Taylor and Karlie are nothing more than the very best of friends, and the photo just happened to catch them in a friendly embrace.

So there you have it. Now the world can get back to linking Taylor with every boy band member ever!

Congratulations are in order today for Taylor Swift.

It has been announced that the singer is in the running for ‘Record of the Year’ in this year’s Grammy Awards for Shake It Off.

The 24-year-old will battle it out against Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX (Fancy), Sia (Chandelier), Sam Smith (Stay With Me) and Meghan Trainor (All About That Bass) for the coveted prize.

Taylor is also up for ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ with the popular hit.

As if her award nominations were not enough, Taylor celebrated a double-win today as she was officially unveiled as Billboard’s 2014 Woman of the Year.

Given that Taylor has sold more albums than any other artist over the course of the past year, we’re thinking she was always going to be the runaway winner.

Taking to Instagram to acknowledge the wonderful news, Taylor wrote: “Thanks Billboard. Also, thanks YOU. (Does dorky celebratory dance then trips over a cat toy).”

Hmmm… we already knew Katy Perry had it in for her, but we never suspected Lady Gaga would be next in line to join the anti-Taylor crew!

Gaga opened up about her relationship with the Shake It Off singer during a tell-all interview with Howard Stern yesterday, and revealed that she'd had a pretty bad first impression.

"It was at the AMAs or something – her and I were sitting next to each other, and she goes, 'Oh my god! I love ARTPOP! And I love Applause! Applause is my favorite song!'" Gaga said of the pair's initial meeting.

"I was thinking, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, this chick is full of s**t,' right?"

But the star admitted she soon changed her mind after getting a call from a friend of hers who was working on Taylor's Blank Space video.

"He goes, 'Taylor Swift is here blasting ARTPOP so loud, and she is dancing, and she's posing'" Gaga recalled. "I said to myself, 'I like this girl. You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face as she said behind my back… Yeah, I like her.'"

Aaaw! But despite Gaga's newly found love for Taylor, she was quick to reassure one caller on Howard's show that things were strictly platonic. When asked if the two were lovers (really?!), Gaga responded, "I don't think she would be into that." 

Fair enough!

Who knew we could feel so much more than jealousy and inadequacy while watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show? They were the prime feelings – we are human after all – but there was so much more than that too…

Here is the emotional rollercoaster we went on while watching the VS Fashion Show last night:

1. When we really, really wanted to go…

2. And we heard that Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran AND Hozier would all be performing and we wouldn’t see it

3. When we heard that Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were wearing bras worth $2million, and they didn't really look that impressive to be honest

4. And also realised those women have birthed four children between them

5. When we saw poor Ed Sheeran trying to keep it together during his set as the ladies strutted past him in their $2million bras

Here's the moment, in case you missed it…what a cutie. Concentrate, Ed!!

6. When Taylor took her love of short shorts to the next level – we didn’t even think it was possible!

7. When we realised Karlie Kloss is actually way taller than Taylor – this may in fact be the only way to tell them apart, so take note

8. When the Angels actually let us in on the secrets behind how they look so darn good (hint: It’s not Diet Coke and cigarettes!) Thank you, Angels

9. When we decided to shun our fourth (ok fine, fourteenth) Rose and googled the gyms in our area…sigh

10. Then said ‘ah feck it, it’s their JOB to look like that’. Your job is to eat the box of Roses. And you NEVER half-arse a job.

It has been reported that Jessica Hart’s comments about Taylor Swift last year may have cost her this year’s Victoria’s Secret show.

Following the pop princess’ performance at last year’s runway show, Jessica was slammed for saying: “God bless her [Taylor Swift] heart. I think she’s great. But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”

It turns out she certainly should not have said that, as it seems to have cost her a place on this year’s London runway, with her absence duly noted while Taylor took centre stage once again. 

We’re sure Jessica’s runway snub has served as a reminder to the other girls NOT to diss Taylor Swift, who remains the Victoria's Secret sweetheart!

The model did not mention anything about the VS show on her social media sites, but it did look like she didn't mind missing out too much as she shared a holiday snap, writing: "Gone swimming…"

It looks like Taylor has a not-so-secret admirer on Twitter, and she seems just as keen by the looks of things!

Although she may have sworn off dating for a while, it would seem that Taylor is having her fun when it comes to flirting with the boys…!

The singer has been seen flirting with 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford over social media this week – and it’s pretty adorable.

The interaction began when Michael tweeted: “I’m so late on the shake it off hype”, to which she replied: “@Michael5SOS Well I was late retweeting you. Call it even?”

In a very “he said, she said” interaction, Taylor later wrote to the boyband member: “@Michael5SOS forgot to mention, congrats on the [award] the other night at the [AMA’s] I was like…”, to which Michael replied with a heart emoji. Taylor then wrote: “If I’m hearing you correctly, what you’re saying is that you’d like to be twitter BFFs. I accept your implied request.”

Taylor was also romantically linked to The 1975 singer Matt Healy, with a photo of her attempting to kiss the star doing the rounds online.

Michael, meanwhile, has found himself being mocked in a song called You Suck by his rumoured ex-girlfriend, Abigail Breslin.

Could this Twitter flirtation be the start of something for Taylor and Michael?

We're used to seeing Taylor Swift look relaxed and pretty in her shoots, but we have to say, she does Beyoncé-esque fierceness fairly well, too!

The singer graces the cover of next's months issue of ASOS magazine, striking a powerful pose in a silver crop top and skirt combo.

The spread is titled, "How To Be a Supergirl, by Taylor Swift," and given that the star has just been named Billboard's Woman of 2014, we're more than happy to look to her for some tips.

In true Supergirl style, the Shake It Off singer discusses her desire to work hard to prove herself to those around her. "When you reach a certain level of success, which you inevitably will in your life if you work hard, people become OK with anything you create. Only you will be the one who pushes you and decides what the next level will be," she says.

She also dishes on her much-publicised friendships with the likes of Lorde, Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham. "My friends are the kind of people who have their own lives and their own busy schedules, and that’s why we get along so well," she tells the magazine.

"A lot of 'celebrities' surround themselves with chic cling-ons who don’t have much of a job or a passion. They follow around their celebrity BFF and provide constant affirmation for them. I’m really not interested in that kind of deal."

Sounds like solid advice to us! Thanks SuperTaylor!

So it may not have quite have been the member of a (boy) band we were hoping for – but this is still adorable!

Matt Healy, singer of The 1975, has admitted that he and Taylor Swift have swapped numbers and said: “Let’s see what happens.”

Taylor attended a gig by the band in Hollywood recently along with Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding, and it sounds like the girls may have made their way backstage!

Matt was obviously very taken with Taylor and said during a recent radio interview: “I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice. We exchanged number. Let’s see what happens … I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation, I wouldn’t say no.”

In another adorable twist of cuteness, Matt was seen on stage wearing a 1989 t-shirt, in homage to his crush's new album, while Taylor was spotted out and about in The 1975 top too, aww!

Looks like Harry Styles better up his game if the recent rumours about him trying to win Taylor back are true…

Wow, it seems like the women of music’s past are having some major issues with today’s stars. Yesterday, Bette Midler blasted Ariana Grande for wh***ing herself out and now Joni Mitchell has slammed Taylor Swift!

The legendary folk singer was talking about the movie, Girls Like Us, in which Taylor was rumoured to be playing her and said why she pulled the plug on the film: “I squelched that. I said to the producer, ‘All you’ve got is a girl with high cheekbones.’”

While we find it hard enough to understand Joni not appreciating Taylor’s fine cheekbones, it seem obvious that she also felt the Blank Space singer was unable to pull of her talent in the movie.

In fact, in discussing her reason to "squelch" the movie, was there any need to mention Taylor at all? Seems needlessly cruel really. 

Taylor wasn’t the only issue that Joni had with the movie however, also saying: “It’s just a lot of gossip, you don’t have the great scenes.”

We feel like the past legends of music may need to start being a bit nicer to the younger crowd, it’s getting out of hand – where is the solidarity ladies?!

We love a good on-again off-again love story, especially when it involves our gal Taylor Swift… and this one just keeps getting juicier.

After repeated rumours last week that a lovestruck Harry Styles sent his ex 1,989 roses to celebrate the release of her 1989 album, we thought the pair might be back on track for a reunion.

But Harry was questioned by Ellen DeGeneres when One Direction appeared on her show earlier today – and he's revealed the truth about the romantic stunt.

"I know about the rumour…but I don't know anything about the roses," said a slightly embarrassed Harry, when Ellen broached the subject.

Although the 1D star mightn't be chasing Taylor any longer, the two are definitely buds again after finally patching things up, according to a source close to the pair.

In another interesting twist however, the 1D star told Ellen he reckons "it might have been someone else" sending the gift and that he "falsely" took credit for it.

So… the search is on for T-Swift's secret admirer!
