First came the selfie stick, then the light up phone case, and we thought we'd seen it all by the time the "belfie" stick rolled around.

We were wrong, and there's a new iPhone accessory designed to give selfies the ultimate photo-shoot vibe.

Contouring and perfect lighting are no longer enough, now a mini wind machine for your phone actually exists.

The selfie fan plugs into your phone to provide you with a Victoria's Secret modelling experience without the photography team. Or the abs.

I you're super committed to the art of the selfie, professional model-standard shots can now be achieved without leaving the couch.

While this definitely fall under the notions category, somewhere, deep down, we kind of want one.

The fans are available online from Urban Outfitters and Amazon.

The ultimate Tinder profile picture awaits.

He may be one of music’s most beloved golden boys, but that doesn’t mean Justin Timberlake is totally immune from trouble.

The Cry Me a River singer landed himself in hot water this week when he snapped himself voting in the US presidential election in his home state of Tennessee.

Alongside a picture of himself posing in a polling station, the singer wrote: “I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote!!! No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town, too.”

After sharing the image on Instagram, the 35-year-old was reported for violating a new Tennessee law which prohibits voters from using phones for any purpose while voting.

Yesterday, the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office released a statement saying it had been “made aware of a possible violation of election law” and that “the matter is under review by the D.A.’s Office”.

But luckily for Justin, the office seems to have since changed its mind as Local Memphis has reported that the D.A. will not be reviewing JT’s case.

In a second statement, D.A. Amy Weirich said: “The statement released earlier today by my office regarding Justin Timberlake and an investigation was incorrect and was released without my knowledge.”

“I am out of town at a conference.  No one in our office is currently investigating this matter nor will we be using our limited resources to do so.”

Ah, another day in the life of Kylie J…

Kylie Jenner took to Instagram yesterday to share a bunch of selfies to promote her Kylie Lip Kit and phone cases.

A photo posted by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

She went down the racy route and snapped pictures of her in her house wearing either only fur (we hope it's faux) and white lingerie.

However, in one of the snaps, Kylie is standing in front of her bathroom mirror, posing very á la Kimmy K.

But, WAIT. Who the Hell is that standing in her bath tub?!

Is it Tyga? A randomer? A man? A woman? Someone helping her get good light to take the shot? WHO?

What a weird picture to put up online…

Lindsay Lohan was in a boating accident over the weekend which saw her nearly lose her ring finger.

The actress had to undergo an emergency operation to save the finger after it got mangled with an anchor.

She took to Snapchat to tell her fans: "I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger…

"I just had surgery to fix it. It hurts so bad," Lindsay added.

However, she seems to be in good spirits today as she took to Instagram to share a selfie.

Keeping things light-hearted the Mean Girls star wrote: "One handed selfie," along with a bunch of laughing face emojis.

We hope she feels better soon!

The ice bucket challenge, a birthday cake in the office… a selfie with your loved-ones: some Facebook memories are meant to last.

Others, however, have much more sinister consequences.

That’s the powerful message behind the RSA’s latest campaign to get us ALL to put down our phones when we’re driving.

And with 42 percent of people admitting to being on their phones at least some of the time while driving, this is an issue that NEEDS to be addressed.

In a moving post to the Lifetime Of Memories Facebook page, the RSA implores: “Your memories and your life are precious. Don't lose them for a status update, a snapchat, a tweet or a whatsapp.”

An accompanying video shows ‘John’ – a young man who “could well be your friend or sibling or boyfriend or even your son”.

John can be seen carefree, enjoying activities with his friends and work colleagues. Until, that is, he takes a selfie with his girlfriend while driving – the consequences of which are harrowing.

Based on previous studies, the RSA reckons that mobile phone distraction plays a role in up to almost one-third of all road collisions in this country.

That translates into some 1,400 fatalities or injuries – all of which could be avoided if we didn’t let devices distract us while we're behind the wheel.

And we already know that you are four times more likely to be involved in a crash while using a mobile, than a driver who isn’t. So the message is simple – and not one that any of us can afford to forget.

Kerry Katona and Brian McFadden celebrated their eldest daughter's 15th birthday today, and as some parents do, showered her with posts on social media.

However, the 15-year-old was not happy with a picture her mother shared of her.

Taking to Twitter, Kerry wrote: "Can't believe my first born is now 15! She's turned into a beautiful young woman! @123_mollymc happy birthday xxxx."

Along with the message, the former singer posted a black and white selfie of her child – but Molly wasn't happy.

Within a few minutes, Molly commented on the photo, asking her mam to delete it.

"I hate this photo delete delete delete," she wrote.

We'd say Kerry will think twice about sharing a photo next time!

If you're a fan of Orange Is The New Black, then you'll be used to seeing Laverne Cox on the silver screen with little or no make-up on.

Either way, she's beautiful and fierce, but her reason behind going make-up free for this selfie is speaking to ALL of us.

The bare-faced beauty shared a photo on Instagram and captioned the snap: "The other day after I took out my braids before we put them back in.

"I love fake hair. It's one of the great joys of my life. As an actress and a woman I love being able to transform, to switch up my look when I want to with wigs, weaves and bundles a plenty.

"I love this too. It's about choices and options."

YES.

Wearing make-up and changing our hair isn't all about looking good – it's about feeling good. It's about having the option to be a girly-girl one day and a rocker the next; not about who looks best or who is wearing the latest style.

If it makes you feel fab, go for it girl. It's your choice.

If you have a partner and are fond of the odd selfie or outfit shot, then you'll know all about dragging your other half around to snap the perfect picture.

They probably hate it, but they love you, so they do it.

However, in a photo recently uploaded onto Beyoncé's website, it appears that Jay is the one dragging Bey around.

In the snap, Beyoncé is standing in a lift, wearing a pretty turquoise dress, but nobody is focusing on her – they're all zooming in on her hubby.

The rapper looks like he's actually taking a selfie of himself and Bey is just getting in the way.

And of course, Twitter just couldn't handle it:

Hilarious.

If there’s one thing the Internet can’t stand it’s airbrushing, so you can imagine how much online hate stars like Selena Gomez get when they share their picture perfect selfies.

But a new Instagram post by Selena’s makeup artist Hung Vanngo has silenced her critics as it shows the star’s picture before and after it was retouched and, naturally enough, Selena looks totally flawless in both.

In the caption Hung wrote: “Instagram photo 101.  Here is an unedited & edited versions of an Instagram photo.”

He then used the hashtags “#brightness #contrast #warm #saturation #color #vignette #sharped…#TheSkyIsTheLimit #NowTheHatersCanChill” before finishing the post with a cheeky “Enjoy!”.

The only obvious difference between the two photos is that one is much brighter than the other proving that Selena’s hair, makeup and skin really are as perfect as they seem to be.

We all know the deal. You're out with your other half and come across a pretty field/restaurant/background and you just HAVE to take a selfie there.

That's what happened when Shakira went on a road trip with her boyfriend Gerard Piqué.

The singer shared a video of her struggle to get a good picture and you can hear the footballer making fun of her in the background.

"She's trying to take a photo. I've been here for half an hour already in the car waiting as she takes a picture."

Shakira then told him off for slagging her before she said, "What us girls have to go through to get a selfie."

I think all partners can completely relate to this (and we apologise, but if we don't take a selfie, were we really on a road trip in the first place??).

Aside from a brief affair with the teapot, the duckface has been the go-to selfie position since Bebo was a thing, but it seems the pouty pose may have to make room for a new kid on the block.

Welcome “fingermouthing” – the strategic positioning of the fingers in front of the mouth to give the classic snapping look a slightly more natural-looking element.

The benefits of fingermouthing include showing off your latest batch of gel nails, being able to cover up any unsightly blemishes and making you look like you could be thinking about something other than, well, fingermouthing.

This selfie position is super versatile and can be altered to suit any individual needs you might have by tilting the head, slightly opening the mouth and splaying the fingers more than might actually be necessary.

The stance is most commonly used by bloggers and celebrities and with basically every Kardashian-Jenner being a fan, we’re sure this trend is not going away anytime soon.

As anyone who’s done the necessary acrobatics knows, getting the perfect angle for a great selfie can be a real pain… in the elbow.

Indeed, the social media-driven activity has now officially resulted in selfie elbow, a medical condition related to the better-known tennis or golf elbow.

kim kardashian

One leading medical expert is now advising that people warm up and stretch before taking pictures of themselves.

Recently, the host of NBC's Today Show, Hoda Kotb, went to a doctor due to a chronic pain in her elbow, and was diagnosed with the painful condition.

Dr.Jordan Metzl, a sports physician in New York gave elle.com a few tips on how to evade this achy elbow.

"Maybe people should alternate their arms — start spreading the load. Alternatively maybe people should start stretching before they take selfies, so they can warm up their muscles" he said.

The queen of selfies, Kim Kardashian, who in 2014 admitted to having taken more than 1200 pictures of herself, should really consider getting her elbow examined.

kim kardashian

We would hate to see a day where Kim could no longer snap a pic, due to an untreated case of selfie elbow.

Kim, be safe, be healthy and get checked!

Can you imagine having to call in sick to work, because of SELFIE ELBOW?

Amazing.
