Nicki Minaj

It's been more than five months since Nicki threw serious shade at Miley at the VMAs. Remember the whole, "Miley what's good?"

Well, it seems that Ms Minaj hasn't forgotten about the little feud because in her new remix of Yo Gotti's Down in the DM, she not only takes the mick out of Miley, but Kylie Jenner, Bill O Reilly, Drake and Meek Mill too.

Woah, this girl has some serious grudges.

First comes Kylie and in a line in the song, Nicki compares Kylie's lips to her … other lips.

"Then he put his hands in my pants, felt them thick lips and got wood… He said Kylie what's good."

The comes Miley's line, which is basically just what she said to Ms Cyrus at the VMAs.

"I said, 'Miley what's good'" — followed by "I said, 'Could you pay my bills like O'Reilly what's good."

She then goes on to reference Drake and Meek Mill and their online feuds with each other.

You're not making yourself a lot of friends in Hollywood, Nicki.

As we reported yesterday, Nicki Minaj and Teen Mom star Farrah Abrahams had a rather nasty fight on Twitter over the past number of days.

And while we all watched to see who would back down first, it seems that Chrissy Teigen took a front row seat and revealed what we were ALL thinking.

The mum-to-be tweeted, "nicki minaj VS farrah abraham is not something I knew I so badly wanted before."

We hear ya, Chrissy!

The Nicki and Farrah fight took an even bigger turn last night, as Farrah made a statement to HollywoodLife and even mentioned Nicki's brother who was charged with raping a young girl.

"Nicki has no room to talk about my family relationships, nor insinuate I'm a porn star, or I have no idea why she is insulting Porn, again the scene had nothing to do with my sex tape, and for her to talk about my daughter, my mother and be disgusting and ghetto I no longer am supportive of her or her music.

"I have no intentions of wasting a further word on her. Keep watching my reruns Nicki and help your bro not rape people. I want to stay away from her and her family."

Woah, we don't think there has ever been such a nasty celeb battle.

Nicki Minaj and Farrah Abraham have gotten into a massive fight on Twitter… and who started it? Nicki, of course.

It all started off with Nicki tweeting about how Farrah treats her mother on the TV show, Teen Mom OG

"Farrah is a c*** to her mother," the songstress wrote. But moments later, Ms Minaj went up another level and said, "She was like b**ch go do some porn & leave gramma alone."

Farrah quickly hit back and insisted that Nicki was just being negative.

She tweeted: "Cause your a parent right? Your videos look like porn… Horrible good luck being negative #Godbless busy making TV."

And it didn't stop there, as neither of them wanted to be the first to back down from the fight.

"Your mother didn't open her legs and have that child. Be happy she's helping! Stop talking to her like that on tv u lil c*** @F1abraham," said Nicki.

To which Farrah replied, "To be clear my mom doesn't help me I help her."

Whether this fight goes on or not, we can't see them making up to each other anytime soon.

Nicki Minaj's brother Jelani Miraj has been charged in New York's Nassau County with rape.

The 37-year-old was arraigned yesterday on first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a 12-year-old child, Newsday reports.

He was shortly released from jail on a bail set at $100,000 (€92,000).

He was last seen with Nicki when the singer shared a snap on Instagram at Jelani's wedding in August. Nicki paid for the extravagant $30,000 (€27,000) wedding as well as posting a heartfelt caption with the photo of her sibling.

From the performances to the outfits to the red carpet moments, there was a lot to discuss after last night's American Music Awards.

One red carpet interaction in particular had us squirming and it involved a pretty awkward encounter between super model Gigi Hadid and One Direction’s Harry Styles.

Let’s just say Gigi made it pretty clear how she feels about 1D’s shaggy haired lothario.

As the super group were finishing up an interview for E! News, host Giuliana Rancic invited Gigi up to join proceedings.

“Do you guys know Gigi Hadid? Do you wanna welcome her up? Come on Gigi,” said Giuliana – obviously clueless to the awkward moment about to happen – as the Victoria's Secret model made a very unenthused entrance.

Walking on stage, Gigi proceeded to shake Harry's hand, before going on to warmly hug Niall, Louis and Liam.

Considering Harry’s track record for dating her friends (he has been linked to both Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner), it would seem that the 20-year-old is not his biggest fan.

Aside from Harry and Gigi, it was an evening of awkward encounters, with Nicki Minaj and J-Lo sharing their own cringe-inducing moment.

After opening the show, J-Lo performed a medley of some of the biggest hits of the year including Nicki's number one single Anaconda

During the song, the camera panned to Nicki to catch her reaction.

Let’s just say she looks less than impressed.

One thing is for sure, those celebs never fail to entertain.

All is fair in love and war, right? Well, Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, doesn't seem to think so.

Nicki's ex-lover has been very critical about the singer in the past and is not shy about airing his anger towards her. Earlier this year he even released a song, Love the Most, in which he explained how unhappy he was that Nicki hid their relationship from the spotlight.

But now the rapper is claiming that he ghostwrote her 2014 album The Pinkprint. TMZ reports that Safaree is planning to sue the popstar for what he believes is his fair share of profits from the album.

According to the website, Safaree is going to present "a boatload of proof" that he was involved in writing Nicki's music, which includes videos, voice memos and eyewitness accounts.

He also claims that Nicki previously acknowledged his work by giving him credit on her first two albums.

Ms Minaj has yet to respond to the reports, but given their previous history, it won't be long until she speaks her mind.

Nicki Minaj came under fire this weekend for some seriously controversial footage, but she swears it was a misunderstanding.

The singer was hosting a Halloween event at 1OAK nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend, donning a gold and cream fairy costume for the occasion.

In a clip posted to YouTube, the singer is seen laughing backstage with her entourage, before pointing her fairy wand at someone and shouting "Walk! I command you to walk."

The person in question appears to be sitting in a motorised wheelchair, leading many to hit back at Nicki for her seemingly insenstitve comment.

Taking to Twitter to respond to the claims, Nicki said the person was a "friend" and that she was in a "scooter," not a wheelchair.

"Lol. That's NOT a disabled person and u know that. Are u that desperate for attention?" she wrote in response to a Perez Hilton piece about the footage.

The writer replied by saying, "And how was I supposed to know a person in a wheelchair ISN'T disabled?" which certainly didn't go down well with Nicki.

"B**ch, u knew. That's my friend in a scooter. Have a great day. I surely will," she wrote.

Some sources have suggested the person in the scooter is in fact Nicki's close friend and make-up artist Sheika Daley, but the footage is still stirring up mixed reactions online:

One thing's for sure, we'll be using #BitchYouKnew as the new #MileyWhatsGood next time we have a bone to pick with someone.

Having spent five months (and counting) on stage for the 1989 World Tour, Taylor Swift is no doubt looking forward to some free time come December.

But the singer has revealed she'll be taking more of a holiday than expected – in fact, she's planning an official hiatus from music once the tour ends.

"I think I should take some time off," she admits in the new issue of NME.

While the personal space might inspire some new music, the singer concedes that equally it might just be a break from songwriting altogether.

"I'm going to hang out with friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know," she said.

"People might need a break from me."

Indeed, while Taylor has broken a tonne of records over the last twelve months, including releasing the fastest-selling album of the last decade, not all the reaction to her growing fame have been positive.

Earlier this year the singer publicly clashed with Nicki Minaj on Twitter, following Nicki's complaints that her video for Anaconda didn't get an MTV VMA nomination.

Nowadays Taylor says she takes a more direct approach to such conflicts, contacting the person involved directly instead of publicly calling them out.

"I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them," she explains.

"It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015."

Sounds like the singer is more than ready for a fresh start.

Nicki Minaj is not afraid to make some interesting style choices and we have definitely seen her sport some pretty interesting wigs from time to time.

However, the star stepped out in LA recently sported a much more laid-back look than we were used to. It looks like Nicki is the latest celeb to take the blonde plunge as her hair has been completely transformed.

Rather than go for a complete peroxide style, it looks like there has been a serious colour job done on Nicki’s locks.

Her hair has a multi-toned type colour going on currently and her darker roots definitely make for a more natural, grown-out style. She’s also rocking a serious fringe right now, which we’re slightly tempted to try.

Of late Nicki had been keeping her hair dark, and even in her GQ cover shoot with boyfriend Meek Mill didn’t wear any of the brightly coloured wigs would we have seen her wear in the past.

While she didn’t surprise with any hair transformations in her interview she did reveal that she first fell for boyfriend Meek when he was in jail last year.

She explained that she reached out to “his people” and asked them to call her for him. When Meek heard the request the two ended up talking for hours.

“I remember sitting on my balcony at my house and just being on the phone with him until it started getting dark outside. And I was just like, ''Yo, I'm in trouble.''' I just knew that first day. It was that long conversation.”

She also added that their relationship is genuine, not a publicity stunt and after ten years in the industry she doesn’t want to keep it a secret:

“When I came in the business, you couldn't tell people you were in a relationship, because record company and management said that doesn't make you appealing to men.”

Hip-hop couple Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill appear in their first photo shoot together as a couple in the latest edition of GQ. In an interview with the magazine the pair talked about pretty much everything.

Including what it means to be ‘the most controversial couple’ in hip hop. The pair revealed that neither of them feel any fear about burning bridges with other stars, and possible friends, in lieu of supporting one another.

Despite the fact that Nicki has been rocking some serious bling since April the duo denied that they were engaged. Nicki did admit however that their romance really began when Meek was in jail last year. That was when she knew she loved him apparently.

“I saw him going off on Twitter, and I was like, ''Oh man, he needs somebody to, like, make him feel good right now.''

So when I heard he went to jail I was really disappointed. I reached out to his people like, 'Yo, let him know I'm praying for him to come home’,” Nicki explains.

“I definitely think we have a normal relationship off-camera. We're like any other couple in the hood,” Nicki added, pointing out that maybe their successful careers make them slightly different from normal couples.

Discussing their falling out with other artists Nicki simply said: “I'm very happy I tweeted about the VMAs, because Anaconda had too much of a cultural impact to not be up.  Taylor Swift called and we're good now. She didn't see the bigger picture. We talked. We got over it.”

Meanwhile she admitted that she may not always agree with Meek and his feud with Drake, but she will tolerate it. She added that “Meek Mill don’t regret nothing.”

So Drake probably won’t be having a heart-to-heart with Meek just like Taylor and his girlfriend then.

Stephen Brown, 24, from Cairn Walk, Co. Antrim was given four months in jail this week for breaching an Anti-Social Behaviour Order.

He repeatedly called the emergency services without having any need of them, and when questioned insisted he was Nicki Minaj.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, Stephen made two calls within five minutes of each other to the emergency services on Christmas Day of last year.

During the first call he claimed that two men were making threats to kill him. However, Stephen, a “chronic alcoholic” and “his own worst enemy”, was not able to provide more information as he was too drunk.

It was when he made the second phone call that Stephen claimed he was Nicki Minaj.

“A prosecutor said he rang again saying he wanted to cancel the first call and during the second call he also claimed to be US popstar Nicki Minaj and said there was a poltergeist in his house.”

He had already gotten himself in trouble making non-emergency calls and he was ordered not to all again without a genuine emergency. He was also not supposed to be in possession of alcohol.

The judge pointed out that police resources were already being stretched and by sending out a car when something serious could be occurring elsewhere would be irresponsible.

His defence barrister Aaron Thompson said that his defendant is a “nuisance” but he also needs help.

Celebrities were certainly out to shock their fans at the VMAs last week as many stars arrived in barely-there or naked dresses.

At the VMAs, stars can really show their true self – along with their very-true style.

So it was surprising when both Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj donned the red carpet wearing dresses from a designer that is virtually unknown.

The attention-grabbing, sheer dresses were not the creations of celeb-loved Versace or Givenchy, oh no.

These dresses were by a designer named LaBourjoisie.

Yep, our faces were just as confused as your's right now.

LaBourjoisie is a Lebanese designer label.

Their founder and head-designer, Antoine Salamah, spoke to the New York Post about his first ever red-carpet moment.

"The feeling of watching [Spears and Minaj] was overwhelming," he said. “I felt so proud that they chose to wear dresses from a Lebanese designer.”

LaBourjoisie was founded in 2002 after Antoine studied in Beirut's CAMM Fashion Academy.

His famous followers to date include Mexican pop diva Gloria Trevi and Khloe Kardashion; who stepped out in one of his numbers for boyfriend and Houston Rockets star James Harden’s birthday bash last week.

LaBourjoisie's dress start at a whopping $10,000 (€11,200), so it might be a little over our price range.

Antoine says: “Our customers are fashionistas that love to glow at their events and be the centre of attention.”
