Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj is usually pretty straight up when announcing milestone events to her fans.

However, her latest tweet is pretty cryptic, and nobody knows what to think.

Last night, the rapper tweeted a baby emoji to her 21 million followers, and of course, they all wound up in a frenzy.

The general consensus? Nicki is pregnant.

Only a few weeks ago, the superstar said that she was giving up dating for the foreseeable future, so we're inclined to believe that this cryptic tweet might have something to do with an upcoming collaboration.

However, she has also been liking all of the tweets about her being pregnant… so, she is either dropping some serious hints, or she's playing all of us.

Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Last week, Nicki Minaj reached out to fans via Twitter, asking if anyone need help with their college expenses.

Hundreds of fans responded to the message, revealing their personal financial struggles.

In a hugely generous act, Nicki then gave more than $50,000 to 30 fans in need, according to Glamour

But she didn't stop there.

On Friday, the rapper announced the launch of her ''official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments.''

Struggling fans will be able to formally apply for financial relief, providing they can supply proof of expenses.

What a wonderful act of kindness – Nicki, we applaud you.

H&M is renowned for their collections with designers like Balmain, Kenzo and Alexander Wang, and for collaborating with celebs like David Beckham and Zara Larrson.

Now, Nicki Minaj has let the cat out of the bag, after revealing on the Met Gala red carpet that she will be fronting her own collection for the high street mega-brand.

'I have a special collaboration coming out with H&M this fall,' she told an interviewer when asked about how her look.

'So they are dressing me for the night and they nailed it,'

The star told reporters that H&M had created her look for the Met Gala, so we're wondering if her upcoming collab will be anything like her red carpet dress.

The female rapper looked stunning the a dramatic black and red outfit, which featured an intricate high-cut playsuit and a sweeping train.

Neither Nicki nor the fast fashion retailer have commented on the rumoured collaboration, so it's unclear whether the musician will be the face of a campaign or whether she designed a collection with the brand.

Either way, we're dying to see it.

Nicki Minaj is facing major criticism from fans over scenes filmed on Westminster Bridge in her new music video, No Frauds.

The video which also stars Drake and Lil Wayne, was released on Wednesday – less than a month after the Westminster terror attacks took place.

The scenes were shot on March 20, just one day before the attacks took place.

The Sun reported last month that the clips would be dropped from the final cut after a source close to the singer said Nicki felt it would be inappropriate to release the footage.

''The other London scenes will remain, but it's highly doubtful the bridge footage will make the cut,'' the source told the newspaper.

Nicki previously reached out to the victims of the attack and offered her condolences to their families.

However, fans where shocked to see the inclusion of the footage in the final video, leaving some Twitter users asking was it too soon?

Nicki Minaj was having a good oul stalk through her own Instagram page this weekend and decided to post a throwback to last year's VMAs.

While she went on a little rant about her hair (yeah, we didn't get it either), everybody else noticed that she looked like she was playing a game of Countdown.

And to be honest, they way she placed her hands on the words is uncanny to how Carol Vorderman or Rachel Riley pose during the show.

Of course, Twitter went wild for this, and many users took the p*ss:

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik delighted us all with their broody and dark collab, I Don't Wanna Live Forever, for 50 Shades Darker.

But, they're not the only mega-pop duo lending their talents to the romantic (can you call it romantic?) movie.

Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas have teamed up to release Bom Bidi Bom for the soundtrack… and it's perfectly sassy:

Oh, but that's not all. Hasley has also debuted a song called Not Afraid Anymore:

Annnnd, John Legend has released One Woman Man:

Lads, we might just be more interested in the soundtrack to this movie than… well, the S&M.

They may be two of the most recognisable faces in the world right now, but that doesn't mean Gigi and Bella Hadid have the market cornered on everything as Instagram soon learned when footage of the siblings rapping Starships by Nicki Minaj made its way online this week.

Uploaded by the woman behind the 2012 track, the two Victoria's Secret angels can be seen giving it their all backstage, but not everyone is impressed.

"Even tho they are models and unreal please learn the words before you are posted on the World Wide Web," wrote one Instagram user. (sic)

"They can't do it like Nicki," added another while a fellow Nicki Minaj follower wrote: "New level of cringe."

We'll let Gigi and Bella take it from here…

Rapper Nicki Minaj has come under fire from a mental health organisation after she made the decision to upload footage of an exchange which took place between herself and a woman she encountered in Miami Beach, Florida.

The video, which was filmed from a car earlier this week, shows Nicki appearing to mock an agitated woman who asked to be left alone while standing outside by herself.

Calling after the woman who was making her way down the street, Nicki asked: "What’d you say? Miss! Come here! What did I do? Miss, you look nice, can we talk? Miss! Come here!"

And while there has been no confirmation that the older woman was suffering from a mental illness, the National Alliance on Mental Illness made the decision to comment on the video after social media backlash.

"Mental illness is no laughing matter, but unfortunately attitudes like the one Nicki Minaj shows in the Instagram video are a consequence of the stigma and ignorance that mentally ill patients endure," read the official statement.

"One in 5 people in the United States will suffer from a mental illness at least once in their lifetime. That means anyone can be affected by it, even celebrities."

Another meme for y'all

"It is sad to see a big star like Nicki Minaj using her influence among young people in a negative manner such as this. Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other."

"Also, Minaj invaded a woman’s privacy, and in so doing dehumanised and objectified her." they added.

And while countless fans of the singer have defended the video, many more have been quick to highlight the insensitive nature of the exchange.

"Ppl don't see the problem are ignorant. She is a role model, she did wrong when she uploaded this to social media for her 70 million followers to humiliate and laugh at." wrote one. (sic)

It looks like there's no love lost between Nicki Minaj and Sharon Osbourne if a recent interview with the rapper is anything to go by.

While chatting with Marie Claire recently, the Anaconda singer pulled the X Factor judge up on her apparent hypocrisy when it comes to women within the entertainment industry.

Drawing attention to comments Sharon made regarding Nicki's Anaconda artwork back in 2014, Nicki suggested that the reality star has a warped view of what is and isn't acceptable when it comes to the female body.

Speaking at the time, Sharon compared the cover to pornography, saying: "This looks like a cheap porno cover of a DVD… I love women’s bodies. I love nudity, but this is cheap."

And yet when Kim Kardashian shared a nude selfie online, Sharon was among Kim's supporters – something which Nicki struggles to understand.

"When Kim Kardashian’s naked picture came out Sharon Osbourne praised it and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite," Nicki told the magazine.

"So it wasn’t trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it but it was when a black woman did it?" Nicki asked while reflecting on the apparent hypocrisy.

The star, who is known for speaking her mind and drawing attention to inequality within the music industry, says she's learned to accept it on some levels.

"It’s quite pathetic and sad but that is my reality and I’ve gotten accustomed to just shutting it down." she added.

Sharon? Your move.

She may have started her career on children’s television, but the hidden meaning behind Ariana Grande’s new song proves that this star is most definitely a grown-up.

Innocently enough when Side to Side’s featured artist Nicki Minaj told MTV that the “whole song is about riding leading to soreness” we presumed she meant riding bicycles because the single’s video shows its lead singer leading a spin class.

But apparently we were very very wrong as it has now been suggested that Side to Side is actually about being left a bit sore after a marathon sex session.  WTF, right?

On Tuesday Girls creator Lena Dunham ever so delicately explained via Twitter that she had experienced “SO MANY EMOTIONZ” after learning that Side to Side is about “getting railed so hard you can’t walk”.

That same day Lena’s comments were retweeted by Ariana herself who contributed nothing more to the puzzle solving expedition than a few cryptic emojis.

Fans are taking the singer’s retweet as confirmation that the rumours are true and, given that the song does contain the phrase “d*ck bicycle” (sorry!), it looks like they mightn’t be too far wrong.

It’s one of the most important music events on the celebrity social calendar, and it looks like this year’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony is going to be just as impressive as its predecessors.

It has been revealed that Ariana Grande will be performing at the star-studded affair, which will be held in New York’s Madison Square Garden this Sunday.

The 23-year-old songstress will be joined on-stage by none other than Nicki Minaj to perform Side to Side from Ariana’s latest album Dangerous Woman.

Beyoncé looks set to land herself an award or two on the night as her eleven nominations have already seen her break the VMA record for the most nominations.

We all know Nicki Minaj isn't one to take the high road so when a security guard was using his phone during her concert, she abruptly took it off him and threw it across the stage. Ouch.

The 33-year-old was playing in Dubai on Friday night when she noticed a bouncer off-stage using his phone. After giving a very aggravated look, the rapper stormed over to him, took the phone and flung it, before continuing on with her performance.

And of course, Twitter erupted after the incident:

He's going to think twice before ever using his phone now!
