Whether she was rocking an Alice band, a long sleek bob or a head of beachy waves, Lauren Conrad generally remained pretty consistent when it came to her hair colour.

Warm honey tones tended to be the order of the day for the former reality TV star, but it looks like she's decided to go all Taylor Swift at the Met Gala if a recent Instagram preview is anything to go by.

While the 30-year-old Laguna Beach-native herself has yet to unveil her new look to her five million followers, Kristin Ess – Lauren's stylist – has teased the transformation on her own Insta page, and people are OBSESSED.

Uploading a shot of a coy-looking Lauren sporting platinum-blonde tresses, Kristin wrote: "Got to spend this morning with my human doll @laurenconrad and some of my fave ladies at @enews@cinalin @iamcattsadler {hair by me & makeup by @amynadinemakeup."

"Just a bunch of hard working ladies making the world go round," she added in the post which has clocked up more than 8,000 likes since its upload this weekend.

The stylist's followers were all over Lauren's icy-blonde look, with one writing: "The perfection that is Lauren Conrad" and another commenting: "Lauren's new look is mesmerizing."

Ladies? We sense a hair appointment coming on…

Hold the phone. We speculated last week that The Hills might be coming back to our TV screens since Lauren Conrad shared a photo on Instagram with a cameraman.

To be honest, we thought it was a long shot (like, a mega long shot) that Lauren would ever step back into her Hills shoes again. But now, it has been confirmed by LC herself.

The Hills IS coming back for a 10th anniversary special. *Squeals*.

Taking to Twitter, the reality star said: "Today is the 10th anniversary of The Hills! I am excited to announce that @MTV will premiere an anniversary special with me on Tuesday 8/2!"

And don't be confused by Lauren's American date format, you won't have to wait until Feburary. The premiere will air on August 2 this year.

We. Can't. Wait.

If you were a devoted follower fan of Laguna Beach and The Hills, then you're going to be very happy with this news.

Lauren Conrad, who recently said that she'd never do reality TV again, has apparently changed her mind.

The designer took to Instagram last night, posting a picture of her with a camera man and she teased us with the caption, "Never thought I'd see the day."

It all sounds very cryptic, but then she tagged MTV in the picture (!!).

Never thought I'd see the day….

MTV News said the the network will not comment on the IG pic BUT to keep an eye out on Lauren's Twitter next Tuesday at 11am for "exact details." Eeek!

Will it be a brand new show? A look inside her fashion brand, Paper Crown? DIY videos like on her blog?

We have so many questions…

In today's 'making you feel old' news, it's been a whopping ten years since Lauren Conrad bid goodbye to Laguna Beach in favour of LA.

And yesterday the reality star-turned-author met up with two old friends in New York for a very special occasion – the launch of her new book, Celebrate.

Lauren's former co-stars Trey Philips and Dieter Schimtz were among the gang of friends and influencers who turned out to support her at the first press event for her party-planning guide, which is available to purchase from March 29.

MTV alum Trey was sure to post a snap of the trio – and their champagne glasses – on Instagram to commemorate the big evening.

"Congrats @laurenconrad on her new incredibly gorgeous and useful book. And a great party to boot!" wrote Trey who now works in New York with fashion designer Vera Wang.

Fellow Laguna Beach star Dieter also took to social media to congratulate his friend, saying he'd had a "blast" at the glam event.

And while she mightn't be on great terms with Kristen Cavallari these days, Lauren says she still fondly looks back on her Laguna Beach days as a "unique" time.

"There was an innocence to it because none of us were doing it to get any deals or other ventures — we were just all friends and it sounded cool so we did it," she says of the show's early days.

"We didn't know what we were really doing, so I think it was this very interesting time where people didn't have ulterior motives. We were just filming a documentary."

We still have our fingers crossed for a Laguna Beach: Where Are They Now episode…

Most of us know Lauren Conrad as the pristine blonde from The Hills. And we've often brought pictures of her to the hairdresser and said, "I want my hair that colour."

She's never really swayed much into any other hue, just the ombré trend here and there. But NOW, feast your eyes on this ladies.

The LC is officially a red head… and we absolutely love it.

Gone are her famous blonde beachy curls and in its place is a vibrant splash of red.We think it brings a whole new lease of life to the 29-year-old, too.

What do you think? Should she keep it or go back to her golden locks?

Women all over the world, prepare to swoon as Lauren Conrad's Beverly Hills condo is everything a girl could want… and it's also everything you'd expect from the reality star turned designer.

The 29-year-old just put her two-storey condo up for sale, with an asking price of $3.2m (€3m).

The fully renovated home is very LC and every inch of space has been given a stylish make-over.

The Hills star bought the home back in 2012 for just $1.35m (€1.27m) which is almost $2m less than the market price she's asking now.

She has an ah-mazing closet which consists of a customised shoe area and even a space for her many ball gowns.

The new buyer can even have a seat while they consider what to wear in the morning as all the closets feature full glass doors.

The walk-in wardrobe is just off the master bedroom which has an additional lounging area and master bathroom.

And to be honest, it's kinda the bathroom of dreams.

There's an area to apply make-up, with not one but two vanity tables as well as a clawed bathtub and separate walk-in shower.

The dining area has a fab retro feel and connects with the fully-equipped kitchen which includes the cutest breakfast corner.

And the laundry room is probably the most girly laundry room we've ever seen as it features a wall full of pink-flowered wallpaper. #Goals.

The home also has a little man cave for Lauren's husband, William Tell.

There is an office for the lawyer and musician which is surrounded by dark wood, leather and grey forest-inspired wallpaper. Very slick.

There is also a small mirrored bar for him to enjoy a whiskey (or two) in.

This isn't the stars only home though. Earlier this year, Lauren purchased a house in the Pacific Palisades area for $4.4m (€4.15m) and she also owns homes in Laguna Beach (obvz) and Brentwood.

Oh, to be Lauren Conrad.

Just a week after her former co-star Whitney Port walked down the aisle, Audrina Patridge had her own romantic evening.

She might not be donning a white dress just yet, but it looks like we won't have long to wait, as Audrina's boyfriend Corey Bohan went down on one knee over dinner last Friday, November 20.

Heading out for dinner with her man after seven years together, the Hills star admitted she had no idea what was about to happen.

He proposed and I said….. YES!!! I posted all about it on my blog! Www.audrinapatridge.com

"Corey pulled it off pretty well. Although I noticed he didn't really eat dinner," she told People magazine of her night out at Summit House in Orange Country, California.

Although Audrina might have been in the dark, her family certainly weren't. In an adorable move, Corey asked the reality star's father for her hand in marriage three weeks beforehand, and made sure some of her family members were booked into the restaurant for the same night.

"He told my brother what his plan was and they sat in the dining area so I wouldn't see them," Audrina explained.

After a romantic meal, dessert arrived – along with a gorgeous diamond ring.

"When dessert time came he [Corey] ordered cheesecake and the waiter brought it out on a platter with a beautiful silver cover," the 30-year-old continued.

"Then all of a sudden the waiter lifted the silver cover and I saw the ring in a box with white rose petals on the plate.

"Corey dropped to his knee and said, 'We have been together for many years now and I love you more than anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you – will you marry me?'

"I was in shock and kind of didn't even hear him but I said yes!"

Fans of The Hills will remember Audrina's on-off relationship with Justin Bobby Brescia, but in recent years the pair have both insisted their romance was 100% scripted.

Speaking about his connection to Audrina earlier this year, Justin Bobby said it was nothing more than a "genuine loving friendship."

Hopefully we'll see him at the wedding in that case, though we can't say the same of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag…

Before all the 'YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID' drama went down on The Hills, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag seemed to be a very tight duo.

The girls lived together in Los Angeles for the first two seasons of the show, but in a new interview Heidi says their entire friendship was an act.

"I spent years pretending to like her for a living,” 29-year-old Heidi tells Us Weekly.

"It was literally my job to deal with her, and it wasn’t pleasant."

Ouch. To take things one step further, Heidi is even accusing Lauren of trying to sabtoage her future.

"The fact is, she lied about me and tried to destroy my life, yet I was the one painted as the villain so the show could have her as the good guy."

Although the details were never officially revealed at the time, the bitterness between the former best friends was thought to have stemmed from a rumour fabricated by Heidi that Lauren and her then-boyfriend Jason Wahler, had made a sex tape.

Things ended with a tearful drunken fight between the two outside of an LA nightclub, and although Lauren did attend Heidi's wedding to Spencer in season five, the pair never seemed to really patch things up… understandably.

However Heidi maintains she was the one who had a hard time, not Lauren.

"[I]t is upsetting to me that everyone knows by now that The Hills was a scripted show, yet people still think the negative stuff about me that the show set up to make me the villain to her hero was real," she says.

As for Heidi's husband Spencer, in his recent Complex interview he went so far as to call LC a "cold-hearted killer."

While Speidi seem intent on clearing their name, Lauren said just last month that she doesn't really think about all the past drama these days.

"No… I’m not really involved in that anymore," she told Cosmopolitan.

"I don’t think it has anything to do with me. You just have to focus on the good people in your life.

Focusing on what you lose is only going to make you sad."

While many of us us (thankfully) made it out of the 00s leaving some incredibly cringe-worthy fashion trends behind us, there are still some things which haunt our memories.

Fashion is one thing, but beauty is an entirely different animal.

Remember the days of zero YouTube tutorials, shimmery bronzer and 100 per cent less eyebrows?

Well, let us take a quick trip down memory lane for a reminder of the make up trends which were perfectly fine with letting go of.

1. Less was definitely more when it came to brows:

2. There was a lot of tan happening:

The '00s did have bronzer though, which, like many things during this glorious decade, had a tendency to make you orange and glittery.

3. Everything was better with 100 per cent more black eyeliner, day or night:

4. Body glitter:

No Miley. Do not try and bring this back.

5. People could not get enough of extensions:

2007 was a tough year for a lot of people.

6. Ultra dark lip liner was on point:

Shades were dark, and then extra dark.

7. Which had to then be combined with a very frosty lip:

This was considered the holy grail according to Bebo photo albums.

8. The 'zig-zag' parting:

It was hard to be taken seriously with this look.

Let this be a reminder to us all that someday we will look back on all of those contouring tutorials and think, 'why?'

Do you remember Jason from The Hills?

The former bad-boy whose relationship with Lauren made sure she was forever remembered as ‘the girl who didn’t go to Paris’ and then broke up with her anyway?

Well, Jason Wahler  who has previously struggled with addiction and faced multiple arrests is now proud to say he is five years sober and has launched a sober living home.

Speaking to FOX 411, Jason, 28, explained that while from the outside it seemed that he had everything anyone could ever want; “in reality everything was so miserable.”

“I had money; I had fame; I had cars; I had access and all this stuff, but I would be at my house — at my own party with a couple hundred people — in the bathroom, snorting cocaine and walk out with a beer and pretend everything was OK.”

He went on to say that being on The Hills only added to his struggle with addiction:

It became a way of survival. I couldn’t function without drugs or alcohol. The entertainment side of things definitely added fuel to the fire, but addiction is a disease.”

Jason said that a phone call from his dad marked the turning point for him. He found the motivation to turn his life around when his family told him that they were waiting for the phone call to say he was dead.

“That was my motivation,” Jason said, “I really had nothing left.”

Now the former reality TV star is in a much better place as he had worked with Origins Behavioural Health and Widespread Recovery. The sober living home in Jason’s hometown of Laguna Beach California aims to provide its all-male residents with the support they need to increase their chances of maintaining long-term sobriety.
