Science has proven that this emotionally distressing time is a legitimate phenomenomnom- sorry, phenomenon.

The truth is, when you’re hungry, your blood sugar is low so the chances of you getting a little extra feisty are going to increase very quickly.

Haven’t we all said some things when our stomach was rumbling that we just wish we could take back?

Sometimes it’s just best to throw some food in our general direction and back away slowly. We’ll be back to our cheerful selves after a quick snack. Or two…

If you’re one of the lucky people that doesn’t suffer from hanger issues, then you should be aware that these are some of the potentially relationship ending issues we face on a daily basis.

We have to apologise, a lot.

Summoning all of our patience when service is a little slow at restaurants.

The distress when your friends can’t agree on a place to eat.

Happy hour after work. Why not happy dinner? Dinner makes everyone happy!

Road trips can be extra stressful. Getting lost isn’t an issue. Getting lost and running out of snacks is a dire situation.

Better safe than sorry…

You know those times when you’re stuck for some beach-wear fashion inspiration, and you think ‘why don’t I just make my own out of these old CDs I have lying around?’

Don’t do it. Because someone already has and it is not a good look.

A new Pinterest board dedicated to some of the most hilarious bikini fails we have ever seen is making us laugh out loud, and also cringe. A lot.

Jodi Warnick created the page of 17 pins that shares some of the greatest swimwear fails of all time. We managed to pull ourselves together enough to round up some of the best from the page.

Enjoy- if you can.

This lady has got serious recycling game.

Owning it.

She seems like a handul.

Fresh and fearless.

Borat? Is that you?

This guy doesn't care for your hate. He's chill AF.

Spectacular, really.

Suddenly not feeling so hungry.

A real lesson in swimwear fashion. You're welcome.

We really love the summer months, especially when we finally get some actual sun shine. It can be absolutely glorious and everybody wants to be on the beach living their best life.

However, sometimes things can go a little downhill. The struggle can get very real, very fast when those temperatures go up and your makeup is just not in the mood to cooperate.

We identified those summer time trials that can sometimes push us to our very limits.

Allergies. Eyeliner and hay fever are not a match made in heaven.

Humidity + Hair = Tragedy

Sunglasses getting stuck in your hair. Nothing makes us feel more glamorous.

Waxing, shaving, just hair removal in general.

Attempting to leave the pool in a dignified manner.

Tan lines. Just put the Crocs away.

Getting dressed in the morning when the sun is shining but then suddenly, bye-bye sun shine. You can't wear floral crop tops in that, you'll freeze!

There are many mixed opinions on tea. You either hate it, or you love it to the point where you can’t live without it and spend all day, everyday either drinking or thinking about tea…just us? Any tea addict will recognise all of these struggles. The tea life isn’t easy…

1. Trying to boil the kettle on the sly
Anybody that comes from an entire family of tea lovers will understand this. You reeeally want tea but know that if you boil the kettle the whole gang will hear it and come running down the stairs like a pack of hungry wolves. Instead of simply making one cup of tea like you had originally planned, you end up making five cups of tea, ten slices of toast and eight omelettes. Making tea should always be on the sly…

2. When someone says they don’t like tea
There you are having a laugh with your potential future husband and as you order a cup of tea in a café on your first date he comes out with the line “I don’t like tea.” Deal breaker. Why didn’t he tell you this important detail before arranging to meet up? Say goodbye to your future children that you will never get to meet.

3. Going out with your friends for a night of hard-core drinking and all you want is tea
Nothing worse, the endless shots of tequila will just not fill that void. You feel empty, confused and alone. It’s been four hours since your last cup and all you can do is reminisce about the good times you had together. It’s just like going through the breakup of a long term relationship. Well, you know, kind of…

4. “Why don’t you try switching to green tea?”
Why don’t you try keeping your opinions to yourself?

5. When someone thinks it’s completely okay to use your favourite mug
This is not okay. This will never be okay. We all have about 37 different mugs and each one suits a certain mood. Please enquire before making silly mug choices.

Today’s epic fail goes to Irish Rail (sorry)!

The company took to their Twitter account this morning to announce that the Drogheda-Bray train would be delayed due to an ill passenger…

Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for everyone else, “ill” was typed as “bill” and so the great sarcastic Irish humour quickly came into play, resulting in comedy gold.

People were very, very worried about the wellbeing of poor Bill, with many writing: “Is Bill ok?”

We do of course hope that the ill passenger on board was ok, too.

I don’t know about you guys, but watching this makes us feel scared. You do what this baby tells you to do…or else!

Day in, day out, this good samaritan trained until he could show the world why he was put on this planet. Watch as he turns a daily chore into an incredible feat, although we’re not sure how many of us will be trying to repeat it…

Victoria Beckham looks to be a getting a little tired of people’s perception of her. She opened up to Elle Magazine recently to tell them what’s what. Watch the video for the full lowdown.

Niamh Geaney reports.

Just too funny!

Hilarious spoof by RTE’s Republic of Telly on the greatest detective of all time.

Making light of the situation!

Air-hostess turned comedian!
