Ice cream lovers, vegans and lactose humans assemble.

Tomorrow, Saturday November 24, Ben and Jerry's are giving out FREE vegan ice cream.

The ice creams Gods are collaborating with three vegan joints around the country to celebrate World Vegan Month – which, FYI, is this month.

November has been taken over to become a big vegan lovefest, which celebrates veganism and plant-based diets worldwide.

This is not a drill!

Today, April 10, marks international Free Cone Day, and Ben & Jerry's are giving all its customers a free scoop of their favourite ice-cream.

Now in it's 39th year, the annual Free Cone Day was set up as a way for the iconic ice-cream company to celebrate and thanks thier fans for another great year in business.

Today, Ben & Jerry’s hands out more than one million free scoops of Fairtrade ice cream across the world each April, with all the classic flavours such as Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie on offer.

“We believe in having fun, and in thanking our fans with free ice cream as each year goes by”, said the company’s CEO Jostein Solheim.

“To us it’s a chance to have a bit of a party, to build connections with our fans, and show them how much we appreciate them,” he added.

Oh and, this is the first year that non-dairy folk can get in on the action too, with scoops of the brands new vegan-friendly ice-cream also on offer.

Do you ever wish you could sit back and devour an entire tub of ice cream, without the guilt?

We're not big believers in the 'guilt' concept, and usually if we decide to polish off loads of ice cream – we bloody well will!

However, it is comforting to know that on occasion, there is a healthier alternative that still satisfies that sweet tooth.

Enter – Ben & Jerry's for the absolute win!

The Kings of frozen treats have launched a delicious range of low calorie ice cream – and we're excited.

Most of us are still attempting the 2018 health kick, so this is the news we need.

Moo-phoria light ice cream will account for HALF of calories that a normal tub of Ben & Jerry's contains ( just 140 to 160 calories per serving.)

Take into consideration that a banana has 110 calories – make the right choice.

The delicious sounding flavours include 'chocolate milk and cookies', 'caramel cookie fix', and 'P.B dough'

Still not entirely convinced?

Well, there's  also 60% to 70% less fat and sugar in these lovely new tubs, and no sugar substitutes.

Moo-phoria light ice cream is also made with organic dairy – so really, it would be rude NOT to eat it.

Pass the spoon.

There is nothing better than free food, but a free ice cream is the stuff of dreams.

Ben & Jerry's is treating us today with Free Cone Day, the most mythical of all confectionery holidays.

"Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry's, you're showing us how much you care," reads the ice cream site.

"We love you too, and Free Cone Day is our favourite way to show it!"

"This year's extravaganza will be taking place on Tuesday, April 4, so be sure to mark your calendars and grab your friends!"
