Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus delighted us all earlier this year when they rekindled their romance, however, they're rarely seen in public together and have never attended the same event.

But that has all changed as the couple stepped out side by side at Variety's Power of Women luncheon in LA on Friday.

Liam was there to support Miley who was one of this year's honorees.

The singer runs The Happie Hippie Foundation, which is a nonprofit to support at-risk and homeless LGBTQ youth.

The pair looked totally loved up and one onlooker said, "she wrapped her arm around him and leaned her head against his shoulder."

We're delighted they're so happy together.

While most video games are played in the privacy of teenagers’ bedrooms, nowhere seems to be safe from the phenomenon that is Pokémon Go.

And it looks like the game’s colourful creatures are set to go where no pocket monsters have gone before – that's right, to the pub.

According to Pokémon Go Ireland’s Facebook page, a Poké pub crawl is to be held in the nation’s capital on Saturday July 30 which will lead some of the game’s 9.5 million players to mysteriously located Poképubs in Dublin's city centre.

The event, which is in association with digital marketing agency Clicks to Causes, promises there will be plenty of Pokémon to be caught between the hours of 8pm and 12am and that its hosts will be awarding Pokécoins for the best Pokésnap caption from the night.

The Poképage encourages attendees to post their snaps to the Pokémon Go Ireland Facebook site using the #COYPG hashtag which means Come On You Pokémon Go (obviously).

If you want a go at catching them all, head to the event’s Facebook page for more details.

And if you just happen to be walking around Dublin on the last Saturday of the month be aware that the Pokéballs will be flying.

'Super cute' and 'exhibition' aren't terms you'd normally put together – but when it comes to Dublin's new petography exhibit, they're perfectly matched.

On Tuesday night a host of Ireland's best known faces gathered together to look at some rather unique photos of their pets at the Petography: Secret Life of Pets Exhibition in Dublin's Temple Bar.

The display, which was created by the team from Universal Pictures Ireland to celebrate the release of The Secret Life of Pets, documents what the pets of Irish celebrities get up to when their owners aren't around.

Featuring the furry friends of international rugby player Gordon D’Arcy, TV presenters Glenda Gilson and Kathryn Thomas and models Roz Purcell, Rosanna Davison and Holly Carpenter, this launch was a cuteness overload.

The free display – which opened to the public yesterday and will run until June 28 – is being held at Filmbase in Temple Bar to help raise money for Ireland's largest animal welfare charity, the ISPCA.

In two weeks time when the event closes, the images – which were shot by celebrity photographer Lili Forberg – will be auctioned off to raise funds for the charity.

Free event – check.  Good cause – check.   Adorable animals – check.

The Secret Life of Pets will hit Irish cinema screens on June 24, and we are PUMPED!

We always knew Niall Horan was a bit of a sweetheart but the 1D member really outdid himself today when he teamed up with professional golfer Justin Rose to raise  a whopping £800,000 for charity.

The two-day Horan and Rose Charity Event consisted of a star-studded gala dinner at The Grove in Watford last night, followed by a golf event this morning.

And it was all to help raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens who received £560,000 from the total raised.

The rest of the money will be split between Irish Autism Action and the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation.

Olly Murs joined Niall and Justin on stage at last night’s dinner and gave a live performance to the lucky attendees who then tucked into grub served up by Jamie Oliver and his team from Fifteen restaurant.

Speaking after the event, 22-year-old Niall said: “It was an incredible night. I had a brilliant time and I’m overwhelmed by how much money we have raised for the charities."

"Thank you to everyone that has supported the Horan and Rose Event this year.  We definitely want to do more!" he added.

His Ryder cup-winning companion said: “I’m delighted to partner with Niall on such a fantastic event, for a cause that we are both very passionate about."

"The amount raised was truly amazing and, due to the generosity of everyone who attended the event, we will make a huge impact on Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens, who fund research into finding cures and kinder treatments for children’s cancers.”

Well done lads!

Time was that a red carpet event was an everyday occurrence on the busy Irish social scene.

After all, who can forget the likes of the VIP Style and the TV Now awards being the hottest tickets in town?

Charlize Theron would pop along to the Meteors, while the Iftas also boasted oodles of Hollywood attendees.

Duchess Kate and her Mammy Middleton would swing by for a weekend break in our capital (circa spring 2007), making sure to stop by a fancy-pants, red-carpeted gallery launch while they were in town.

Then there was the Eurovision, an iron-clad stable of the mid-Nineties. Even the MTV Europe Music Awards came to Dublin back in 1999 (where Christina, Mariah, Britney and Whitney – *swoon* – ALL made an appearance).

Of course, red carpet events still take place: but we dare say that there’s not quite as much glitz nor as much glam these days. Yes, the dresses are more muted; the hair decidedly less full.

Thankfully, however, you may yet have reason to dust off your Gina sandals.

Yes, the inaugural black-tie Gossies are taking place this Sunday in Dublin and suffice to say that the guestlist (Vogue Williams, Rosanna Davison, Nicola Hughes and Roz Purcell) is as impressive as anything 2006 could have offered us. Hurrah!

Here, in honour of the glamorous Gossies (where a total of 18 awards will be up for grabs), we examine the five key red carpet styles we can expect to see on the night…

1) Dressed to the nines

A big night out means only one thing: a really big dress. Take inspiration from Lisa Cannon in Vera Wang:

2) Keeping it casual

The ‘oh this old thing’ vibe. Look to Mariah Carey – dressed down in a black vest and ripped denim jeans – for ideas:

3) Look at me

The UTV Ireland cameras will be there at the Gossies, so expect a few head-turners, just like Michelle Keegan:

4) Dividing opinion

They’ll love it or they’ll hate it. Check out Lorraine Keane in a Deborah Veale gown to perfect your look:

5) Classic is best

Why try and reinvent the wheel – keep it simple like Kathryn Thomas:

Stepping out for the first time since announcing that she is expecting her first child, Chrissy Teigen looked predictably gorgeous at a Hollywood event earlier this week.

And while we’ve examined the resulting pictures for even the tiniest hint of a baby bump – alas, we’ve found that one is lacking.

Yup, the 29-year-old model’s tum appears to be totally flat.

Married to singer John Legend for a little over two years, Chrissy wore a stunning, ankle-length dress with strappy silver shoes and a metallic clutch.

She kept her accessories simple, and wore her hair slicked back off her face.

Attending the swish Le Mer Celebration Of An Icon event – Chrissy was joined by the A-lister likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie.

Ms Teigen and Mr Legend announced she was pregnant via an adorable social media post earlier this week – delighting their many fans.

She has previously spoke about her struggles to conceive, admitting that she and John had “seen fertility doctors”.

Ms Teigen also explained how painful it was when people questioned her about their plans to start a family.

“I can't imagine being that nosy to be like,” she added. “Who knows what somebody's going through?”
