A female comic has decided to hit back at a stand-up comedian who publicly ridiculed her during a comedy show recorded for Comedy Central.

Damienne Merlina bore the brunt of Ari Shaffir's vicious jibes regarding her personality, appearance and disability during a recent stand-up performance, but the courageous Damienne refused to take his bullying sitting down.

In a segment of his piece Ali Shaffir claimed the comic and actress smelled as a  result of not washing and then pretended to wash "under the belly folds" using only one arm in a performance which Damienne felt had no place in comedy.

Calling out the stand-up on his cruel jibes and unnecessary venom, Damienne released a video of her reaction to Ali Shaffir's attack on her.

Becoming tearful and emotional at some points in the clip, Damienne eventually finishes with a very specific message for Ari Shaffir.

And we LOVE her for it.

Emilia Fox, best known for her role in Silent Witness, has decided to open up about her jungle adventure with Bear Grylls and spares no detail and we'll be honest, we're not sure if Sunday morning is the right time to consider it.

The British actress, who recently appeared in Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, impressed viewers her with can-do attitude and stunned audiences with her ability to consume her own urine with little fuss.

But it looks like the star had a little trick up her sleeve in order to get through that horrifying act!

Deciding to spill her secret on that front, the blonde star said: "It was mind over matter. I pretended I was downing a pint in a pub, which would have been a challenge for me, too."

In addition to pretending she was just down the local, the actress employed a few more techniques in order to stomach the questionable liquid, revealing: "And I didn’t breathe through my nose until the taste subsided. I kept telling myself it was green tea."

The star, who's related to Billie Piper by marriage, says that the notion of not drinking your own wee during her jungle adventure was not an option, joking: "Try telling Bear Grylls that!"

We think convincing ourselves our own wee was a pint of cider would take a huge amount fo effort, so hats off to the gorgeous Emilia!

As if we needed any further proof that Angelina Jolie is one of the most inspirational women in Hollywood, she went and outdid herself at the Kids' Choice Awards last night.

Picking up the gong for Favourite Villian in Maleficent, the mum-of-six, who attended the annual award show with daughters Shiloh and Zahara, only went and gave us all goosebumps with her speech.

Encouraging young people to bask in their uniqueness and stand tall when dubbed 'different', the star delivered a speech which would move even the most hard-hearted.

Sharing some words of wisdom with a clearly overjoyed audience, the Maleficent star said: "Don’t fit in. Don’t sit still. Don’t ever try to be less than what you are. And whenever someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up high and be proud."

And in case that was all a little too sugary for your taste, the star, in true Angie style, finished with this little nugget of advice: "And as your villain, I would say: Cause a little trouble, it's good for you."

If you're suffering from the fear right now, then it's probably best to give yourself an hour or two before taking a peek.

The incredible purchase comes after the couple's fifth anniversary which Rosie marked in the sweetest way with a simple message on Instagram declaring: "You will forever be my always."

Former JLS member Marvin Humes, who now spins the decks for Capital FM, was spoiled this weekend as he turned 30 and popstar wife Rochelle made sure he celebrated in style.

Taking to Instagram to share snaps of the celebrations, fans and followers got a sneak peek of Marvin's big night and it really is something!

Between having his name in lights and being treated to one of the most ornate birthday cakes we've ever seen, Marvin was certainly treated like a king for the big milestone!

Much loved actor Verne Troyer has taken to social media to assure fans he is doing well after suffering a seizure.

The Austin Powers star was attending a Heart of Texas Comic Convention when the attack took place and the star was rushed immediately to hospital.

Although it is unknown what caused Verne's seizure, representatives for the actor have assured the public he is doing well and the star himself was keen to placate worried fans.

Using social media as a platform, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant wrote: "Everything's OK, guys. Thanks for the concern."

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been through their fair share of ups and downs, but there's no doubt that they put a huge amount of effort into trying to make things work.

The couple, who recently welcomed their third child, have faced yet another obstacle in recent days after Scott relapsed and apparently became so intoxicated he had to be carried back to his hotel bedroom in Atlantic City.

Having made no secret of his struggle with alcohol abuse, Scott immediately checked himself into a rehab centre in Costa Rica in an attempt to beat his demons, saying: "I realise my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle."

Opening up about her partner's progress, the eldest Kardashian sister said: "He's learning so much about himself and growing."

Admitting the impact Scott's treatment has on her, Kourtney explained: "I think the thing that’s most important to me is just his commitment to work on himself."

Scott's struggles have caused a huge amount of problems for the couple over the years, but Kourtney is positive as she looks to the future, saying: "When he’s working on himself it only betters our relationship."

We're glad Kourtney continues to maintain such a positive attitude despite their problems.

Controversy surrounding  the latest X Factor scandal, which saw the official dismissal of judges Natalia Kills and husband Willy Moon, hasn't gone away just yet!

The lovely Una Foden has weighed in on the scandal and the normally mild-mannered popstar showed a fiery side when she revealed her true feelings for the disgraced judges.

Admitting she thinks the popstar judges got everything they deserved, the mum-of-two said: "I'm glad that people turned on them like they did because it was just disgusting behaviour."

Going further still, Una slammed singer Natalia, saying: "She used the word disgusting. Well I thought she was disgusting to be perfectly honest."

Joe Irvine, who was on the receiving end of the judge's cruel tirade, already has the backing of Ed Sheeran and there's no doubt Una is championing the contestant all the way, saying: "I have gone through that process and I know how tough it is getting up on that stage."

We don't think this scandal is going to die down for quite some time!

Another spine chilling recording has reportedly emerged of TOWIE star Dan Osborne threatening ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin with murder if she attempts to embark on a new relationship.

The audio tape which Megan apparently handed over to a friend for safekeeping has been leaked to The Sun on Sunday and features a furious Dan using abusive language against the mother of his son, Teddy.

In the dispute Megan can be heard telling her ex to leave the house, but her upset requests fall on deaf ears as Dan unleashes a tirade of abuse.

According to reports, the TOWIE star, who recently welcomed a baby daughter with actress Jacqueline Jossa, can apparently be heard saying: "I swear on this boy’s life I will end your f****** life if you shag another man. Never in your f****** life are you going to be with another man. I can swear on my son’s life."

It appears events take a turn for the more sinister in the recording when Megan can be heard begging: "Ow, get off me! Don’t start hitting me or I’ll start going mad. Get out of the house now! You’re horrible."

Following the release of the shocking original audio, Dan appeared contrite and released a statement which read: "It has taken me a while to find the right words but I would like to say that I am truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard."

If this new recording is legitimate, Dan will definitely have more explaining to do.

Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan took to social media this weekend and did something we're all a little guilty of from time to time.

Oh yes, the reality star indulged in a little harmless humblebragging.

Well, kinda.

Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, the fitness fanatic posted a little message that suggested fans and followers may be treated to a few bikini snaps, but we weren't to expect much because Holly had done wat most ladies do of a Friday evening and tucked into a cheeky chipper.

Tweeting: "Trying bikinis on after fish and chips Friday might not be the best idea", Holly reminded us that she was just like us and would likely flaunt a food baby after her delish dinner.

Turns out we were kind of wrong on that front because mere hours later the 22-year-old star uploaded the infamous bikini shot to Instagram and it's safe to stay the fish and chip supper had no effect on Holly's stunning figure.

Ever since Joan Rivers passed away it looks like things have been going from bad to worse for E! Fashion Police.

Following Kelly's swift exit in light of comments made by co-star Giuliana Rancic and Kathy Griffin's decision to quit the show mere weeks after replacing Joan, it seems all is doomed for the once extremely popular style show.

While Kathy maintains she left of her own accord because she didn't feel her humour was suited to the show, reports have surfaced that Giuliana may have been Kathy's real motivation to ditch the programme.

According to an insider, Kathy was astounded by Ms. Rancic's diva-like behaviour, revealing: "Giuliana’s entourage of a stylist, make-up artist, and assistant, plus her constant need for attention, were absolutely stunning to Kathy."

And it seems Giuliana herself is no longer content to judge our favourite celebs on their red carpet choices, with a source close to the show admitting that Giuliana has described the programme as an 'albatross' around her neck.

Amid all the drama, it looks like TV execs may just go ahead and cancel the whole show, with a source telling New York Daily News: "They have off this month, but don't be surprised if they cancel it quietly in a matter of weeks, when the craziness dies down a little."

Woah, what the hell just happened?!
