Stacey Solomon has revealed a big change to her Halloween traditions!
Each year, the Sort Your Life Out presenter is known for gathering herself, her husband Joe Swash, and her five children – Zachary (15), Leighton (11), Rex (4), Rose (2) and eight-month-old Belle – together for matching Halloween costumes.
However, Stacey has now revealed that, for yesterday’s spooky celebrations, there were a few changes.
Taking to her Instagram account last night, the 34-year-old delighted her 5.8M followers by unveiling this year’s family portrait for Halloween. Through an abundance of photos, Stacey revealed that herself and Joe, as well as the couple’s three young children, dressed up as characters from The Wizard of Oz.
In the caption of her post, the former X Factor star went on to emotionally explain the absence of Zachary and Leighton.
“Lots of love from Dorothy, Glinda, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man & The Cowardly Lion. Missing the big boys this year but they’ve out grown the family costume,” she detailed.

“Devastated, but grateful I hopefully have many more years with the little ones,” she continued.
The mum-of-five then went on to reflect on how her little ones have taken to their adorable costumes.
“Rose is OBSESSED with her new shoes, I have a feeling they’ll be her school shoes from this day forward & Rex is axing down our trees as I write this,” Stacey teased, before sweetly concluding: “Happy Halloween everyone.”
In the comments section of her post, Stacey later revealed the costumes she had originally planned for her two eldest sons.

Is it just us, or did Halloween films peak in the ’90s and noughties? Scrolling through various streaming sites, it is easy to find gem after gem of Halloween favourites made at what was apparently a flourishing time for on-screen spookiness.
Family movie night is pretty much standard in every household during spooky season, so why not watch some of these Halloween classics this weekend? Here are eight brilliant options to get everyone in the spooky mood:
1. The Adams Family (1991)
If you were a teenager in the 90s you probably thought of Morticia Addams as a terrifying eccentric woman. As an adult, you will be surprised at how much you can relate to Anjelica Houston's portrayal of this incredible character, her black clothes and her love of all things dark. The Addams family is the perfect movie to revisit with your own unique family.
An old haunted Manor? Check. A family on a mission? Check. Eddie Murphy being hilarious? check and check.
This spooky sensation is full of the magic of Disney and will have your kids in stitches. Eddie Murphy plays a real estate agent whose family must break the curse of Gracey Manor while on holidays nearby. With cemeteries, spiders, ghosts and crystal balls, this movie contains all the haunted ingredients of a perfect Halloween night in.
You cannot do a Halloween movie marathon without including at Tim Burton original. It is also good to throw an animated film into the mix especially one created at the hands of a genius.
A morbid young man named Victor is about to be wed when he is sucked into the underworld and confronted by the corpse of a bride who wishes to marry him herself. Your kids will be enthralled in the beautiful graphics of this fantasy world and the gorgeous music.
It is finally that time on the run-up to Halloween to visit Bette Milder and Sarah Jessica Parker in their classic Halloween blockbuster.
A trio of hilarious witches are brought back from the past at Halloween and intend to cast a spell over an unassuming little town. Three kids and a talking cat must try and stop them, resulting in suspense and chaos. This amazing movie is considered one of the most popular flicks of the spooky season and is definitely a must-watch for all families.
If your kids are a bit older and need more of a spooky ‘90s fix, why not try them out on an old cult classic starring Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder?
Edward was created by a genius inventor but before he could finish him the inventor died leaving Edward with sharp metal shears for hands. He is alone and misunderstood until a suburban family adopts. Their kind and understanding daughter shows Edward what real human connection is and he teaches her about life in return.
If you harboured a desire to be Christina Ricci in this movie, join the club. Kat is a preteen who's dad specialises in the supernatural. When he is hired to get rid of some spirits in an old mansion, Kat becomes best friends with none other than Casper the friendly ghost. This hilarious and adorable movie will give you all those 90s vibes to share with your family on movie night.
Another beautiful animation by Tim Burton, this movie is spooky and quirky all at the same time. Pumpkin king Jack Skellington wants to leave behind his old routine scaring to spread the joy of Christmas. However, this turns out to be a Christmassy nightmare for children all over the world.
Okay, we know this one is more modern but it is definitely up there with the old classics.
Mayhem ensues when Dracula is found to be running a holiday resort for monsters and other creepy creatures. This hilarious movie is great for the younger ones as characters who are normally villains are shown in a fun and friendly light. The great thing about this movie is that there are two sequels – perfect for your kid’s next obsession.
Ireland’s Pet Experts Petmania have today announced the winning pup of their Puppy of the Year competition.
Donut, an English Mastiff, has beaten off competition from over 1,600 other adorable puppies to be crowned Puppy of the Year. This year’s competition marks the 8th year of the annual canine competition with it becoming more popular each year.
The English Mastiff puppy from Mountrath, who was the finalist for the Portlaoise store, won the hearts of the judges because of his chilled and clever personality. Despite his size, he’s a very young puppy and loves to help his mum and owner, Jacinta, and visit the children with autism that she works with, who love to see him coming. Donut and his proud owner received a prize worth €1500, including a year’s supply of dog food from Beta, a 12-month grooming care plan with Petmania , a two-night staycation in a dog-friendly hotel courtesy of Blue Book, as well as a professional photoshoot and a brand ambassador contract.
Second place winner, Molly Saoirse
In second place was gentle labrador retriever, Molly Saoirse, a therapy puppy for Clonakilty Community Hospital in Cork, while in third place was cocker spaniel puppy, Biscuit Dunphy, from Roscommon.
Speaking about this year's Puppy of the Year contest, Petmania’s spokesperson Emily Miller, says:
“This year’s competition has been so much fun. We had over 1600 entrants and 10’s of thousands of votes cast in-store and online so it’s a thrill to see Ireland’s puppy owners get so involved. Choosing a winner today from the final 16 was very tough. The commitment that all the puppy parents have made to their pup’s training is evident – and we are delighted to have each and every one of them as the puppy of the year representing their local store. We are really excited to have Donut as the overall winner and look forward to working with him and his owner as a brand ambassador over the coming year, it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Third place winner, Biscuit Dunphy
After succeeding in the grand final of the competition, the winning pup’s owner, Jacinta Parkinson from Portlaoise stated:
“The best start to the weekend was hearing Donut was selected as Puppy of the Year. Thanks to all those who voted for my big little baby, I cannot wait for him to start this exciting new role. Every pup who entered is a Puppy of the Year. Donut has filled my heart with happiness, and I am delighted that he made it to the final, never mind winning the title.”
The annual Puppy of the Year competition was open to puppies aged 12 months and under, and entries for the competition were open during the month of September with every single puppy entered receiving a free puppy pack, sponsored by BETA dog food.
Successful candidates were contacted after this period with 16 finalists selected to go through to the finale, some of the finalists included:
Alfie Reynolds, local school mascot from Kilkenny
Molly Saoirse, a therapy dog who entered via Petmania’s online store
Joey Montana, the brother of last year's winner Bambina, both from Santry
Nala Keelan from Tullamore, who was abandoned before finding her forever home
Petmania has 15 stores across Ireland with its 16th store due to open later this year, over 260 employees and the largest dog grooming business in the country.

As she opens up about her time on the show, Ella has admitted if she has any regrets from her time on Love Island and shared advice to any women who are interested in taking part in the ITV show.
When chatting to OK!, Ella was asked if she did have any regrets about the show, to which she explained, “No, I was completely myself and authentic”.
“What you see is what you got. There was nothing I could regret or change, I just acted how I felt in the moment”.
Admitting how she handles negative feedback, Thomas says, “It doesn’t really get to me, I just brush it off and focus on the positive”.
Sharing an insight into about positivity, Ella spoke about what she learned about herself since being in the limelight after her departure from the show.
The reality star revealed, “I’ve learnt that I’m very confident, quite resilient and positive – I focus on the positive things rather than the negative”.
Ella also shared advice for any women that are considering going into the Love Island villa as she added, “Be 100% yourself and you will have no regrets and enjoy the experience because it’s a one of a kind”.
After leaving Love Island, Ella shared a statement about her time in the villa to social media where she said, “Just wanna give a huge shoutout to thank everyone that’s been rooting for us and supporting our journey!”.

Fans of the hit Netflix series Wellmania will be disappointed to hear that the show has been cancelled after just one season.
The star of the comedy show, Celeste Barber who plays the character Liv Healy, has revealed the sad news on social media earlier this morning.
Celeste confirmed that the streaming platform will not be renewing the series for another season, despite it being such a big hit and receiving great praise from viewers.
The comedian took to Instagram to post a video of herself sharing the unfortunate filming update with her 9.7M followers.
In the clip, Celeste says, “Hi friends, I just wanted to check in and give you a little update to let you know that Wellmania will not be renewed for another season”.
“I understand in the grand scheme of things with what is going on in the world at the moment, who f****ing cares, but a lot of you do care. A lot of you are still asking me about it so yeah, we found out yesterday that it’s not going to be renewed”.
“Netflix said it's something about numbers… Sure. I thought it smashed it but I don't understand how it works”.
Barber continued, “Thank you for the love and support around the show. It was so fun. We had such an excellent time and the way it was received was so overwhelming”.
“I’m bummed that I can no longer explore that excellent character of Liv Healy and I know a lot of you have said you saw yourselves in that character and wanted to see more of her but this industry is kind of bulls**t”.
The actress closed off by adding, “With the state of the world, I know it's not the biggest thing but I just wanted to give you an update. So go and kiss your babies and watch Friends- maybe not on Netflix though, maybe pull out an old DVD”.
Many famous faces and fans of the show headed to the post’s comments to share how disappointing they thought the news is.
Comedian Hannah Berner wrote, “It was so good and u should be so proud of what u created”.
“Ridiculous. Absolutely loved the show”, penned New Girl actress Hannah Simone.
Basic Instinct’s Sharon Stone added, “Well i think u r GANGSTER AND ALL THINGS FAB, keep going And i haven’t been renewed in decades so who really cares. Keep being AMAXING AND SEE YOU OUT THERE IN FAB LAND”.
Wellmania follows the story of food writer Liv who needed to kickstart a wellness journey after a major health scare. The eight-part series received an impressive 89% rating from critics and 82% rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
Charlotte Crosby has been sharing an insight into her personal life!
The Geordie Shore star welcomed baby daughter Alba into the world in October of last year with her boyfriend Jake Ankers.
Now, one year on from the arrival of her little girl, Charlotte has been detailing how she has been finding motherhood so far, as well as her plans for her future with Jake.
In an interview with OK!, the 33-year-old admitted that adjusting to being a mum has been “a walk in the park”, gushing that the family-of-three have “the most beautiful life”.
However, despite her domestic police, Charlotte also confessed that she is worried that the new series of her reality show, titled Charlotte In Sunderland, could attract criticisms from her so-called “Mam police”.
“All you’ve got to do is put the nappy in the wrong bag and all of a sudden you’re condemned. I won’t know until it comes out whether or not having the cameras following the motherhood journey is going to be a problem,” she explained.
Charlotte then went on to give a glimpse into her relationship with Jake, as she praised him for taking to fatherhood like “a duck to water”. The couple first started dating in January 2022, and were together for 3 months when Charlotte discovered she was pregnant.
“He’s known me for longer with Alba than without so our dynamic has always been family life. We’ve known no different,” Charlotte laughed.
While she has no idea when her 32-year-old boyfriend will pop the question, Charlotte detailed that she already has a timeline for an engagement, wedding, and a new sibling for Alba.
“I’d love to be engaged and have quite a long engagement. I really want to have a second baby before I get married so if Jake proposes tomorrow, I’d love to have another baby next year and then a year after that to get in the best possible physique ever – healthy and wedding ready. So I wouldn’t get married until 2026,” the reality star confirmed.
Molly-Mae Hague knows how to celebrate Halloween in style!
The former Love Island finalist and her fiancé, boxer Tommy Fury, have been enjoying their first Halloween with their baby daughter Bambi, who was born in January.
The 24-year-old mum, who is known for her love of all things spooky, took to Instagram earlier today to reveal that she has treated her little girl to her very own Halloween party.
The abundance of snaps showcase Molly-Mae dressed up as wizard Harry Potter, and Bambi in a onesie of Sulley from Monsters Inc. Meanwhile, dad Tommy chose to go for something more frightening, as he dressed up as vampire Count Dracula.
The bash was hosted at the family-of-three’s lavish Manchester home. Alongside the traditional decorations of pumpkins, spider webs and skeletons, Molly-Mae also organised ‘Bambi’s BOO-tique’ – a playful shop window where guests could treat themselves to sweet delights.
For catering, the couple’s guests were greeted with a huge sharing platter, filled with both sweet and savoury treats. Molly-Mae even went for adorable personalised decorations, as she included bunting and cutlery with little Bambi on them, wearing a witch’s hat.

“Bambi’s BOO-gie Ball… best day ever!” the proud mum gushed in her caption.
Tommy also took to his own Instagram account to share some additional memories of the special day, including a candid photo of himself spending some quality time with Bambi once their guests had gone.
“Best day of the year. Happy Halloween!!!” he exclaimed alongside the images.

Many fans of the reality couple have since taken to their comments sections to express their joy at the party insight.
“The cutest Sulley I ever did see,” one follower penned.
“This is just the most perfect thing ever,” another added.
“The cutest family happy Halloween you all look amazing,” a third fan wrote.
During an appearance on It Takes Two last night with dance partner Graziano Di Prima, presenter Fleur East surprised Zara with a video message from Sam.
“I just wanted to make this video and tell you how incredibly proud I am and all your friends and all your family are of you and what you’ve achieved over these past seven weeks,” 31-year-old Sam gushed at the beginning of his video.
“I remember you said, when you started this, ‘I’ll be gone week one,’ but you lasted seven entire weeks. What you’ve achieved is so admirable. I love you,” he gushed at the end of his message.
Zara, who broke down in tears over Sam’s sweet surprise, then went on to explain what his support means to her.
“It’s just honestly amazing. I mean, having him there on Saturday night was really special,” the 26-year-old detailed.
“Being able to just kind of see him in the audience and give him a big wave before and having him there for that moment was just so special,” she cried.
Zara, who lost the dance-off to Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas, later shared that she was gutted to leave the competition.
“It’s been a real up and down of emotions the last few days of just processing everything. I think today was the hardest morning ever just not going to training. I literally texted [Graziano] the moment I woke up,” the documentarian recalled.
Referring to dance partner Graziano sitting beside her, she praised: “This human being right here is what I’m going to miss the most because he is the most special, beautiful soul in the world.”
The public are being encouraged to get their flu and Covid-19 vaccines ahead of ‘peak virus season’.
The Chief Medical Officer, Professor Breda Smyth, and Chief Nursing Officer, Rachel Kenna, are urging people who are eligible to get the flu and COVID-19 vaccines before winter.
The seasonal vaccination programme will offer a flu vaccine in the form of a nasal spray for children aged 2-12 years, and an injectable flu vaccine for all other eligible groups.
A Covid-19 booster is also available for people aged 50 and over, and those in certain other categories including members of the public who are immunocompromised.
The flu and Covid-19 vaccines can be administered at the same time and are available at participating GPs and pharmacies, and in healthcare settings for healthcare workers.
The children’s nasal spray flu vaccine is also available to some primary school children in the school setting.
The Department of Health has revealed there has been strong uptake for both vaccines to date, and the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer are reminding everyone to take the opportunity to boost their protection before the respiratory virus season reaches its peak later this year.
CMO Professor Breda Smyth released a statement that reads, “Vaccines are safe and effective, and along with good hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette, they’re the best way to protect ourselves from the respiratory illnesses circulating this winter. It is very important that all those who are invited, get both their free flu and COVID-19 booster vaccines”.
“As the two vaccines can be administered at the same time, it’s a quick and easy way for people to protect their health, as well as protecting those around them”.
She continued, “Young children in particular are more likely to be very sick from flu, so I am asking parents to please consider getting your child vaccinated. The ‘flu vaccine for children is a nasal spray and is administered quickly and painlessly”.
CNO Rachel Kenna then added, “I am encouraging everyone who is eligible to please make an appointment to receive your ‘flu jab and COVID-19 booster to help minimise the risk of serious illness”.
“I would particularly encourage my nursing and midwifery colleagues as well as all health and social care professionals and medical colleagues to take the opportunity to get vaccinated to protect themselves and vulnerable patients. Walk-in vaccination clinics for healthcare workers are operating around the country”.
S Club fans have been left disappointed after one of their concerts was hugely disrupted.
Yesterday (October 30), the band – now consisting of members Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Jo O'Meara and Bradley McIntosh – were performing in Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.
However, after the concert took place, many fans subsequently took to social media to detail that the end of the performance had not gone as planned.
One fan managed to capture the moment that S Club were halted in the middle of one of their songs. The video showcases the five stars performing, before the arena went dark and sirens began to blare.
“Evacuation mid SCLUB concert,” another audience member penned on X, alongside a video of thousands of people leaving the arena.
In a statement to Instagram last night, the team behind the M&S Bank Arena explained what happened, and confirmed that the show did eventually resume.
“Tonight, as S Club were close to finishing their set at the arena, there was a minor incident which triggered a partial evacuation. The issue was resolved quickly and we were able to restart the show,” they wrote.
“We will be launching a full investigation. The safety of our audience, staff and performers is always our primary concern,” they added.
This is not the first time that S Club have had issues with their performances in Liverpool. Last night’s concert was already a postponed show from October 13, as the initial gig was rescheduled due to a fire at the arena.
"Due to an unforeseen technical issue that is beyond our control and impacting the power supply, we have sadly been forced to take the decision – with the event promoter – to postpone tonight's performance by S Club,” the band confirmed at the time.
S Club’s ‘Good Times’ reunion tour, which is in honour of their late bandmate Paul Cattermole, is due to wrap in Canada on November 16.
