Davide Sanclimenti has spoken out amid accusations of taking drugs.

The former Love Island contestant, who won last year’s summer series, was videoed by publication The Sun during a recent holiday in Ibiza.

At the time that the brief clip was taken, Davide was on a work trip to shoot a promotional campaign for BoohooMan. 

The star went on to enjoy some downtime in a nightclub on July 2, just three days after confirming his split from fellow Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.

In the footage, which was first published on Saturday, Davide could be seen snorting an unconfirmed white substance from the back of his hand. 

Now, a few days after the snaps were released, the 28-year-old has released a statement in response to fans’ queries.

“Ciao everyone, you may have seen some stories about me over my trip in Ibiza. It was no secret that the last few weeks have been difficult for me,” Davide wrote, alluding to his recent breakup from Ekin-Su.

“There was a speculation about my behavior and a video which was questionable, however below the surface of this I did something that’s not nice to see and was not acting like myself,” he explained.

Davide continued by writing: “The true story is not what has been described from a couple of pictures. I found myself in awkward situations, in a vulnerable state..”

The reality star concluded his message by looking to the future.

“All I can say now is that I want to move on and focus on my career, my wellbeing and my loved ones. I hugely appreciated the many supportive messages around me,” he penned.

Yesterday evening, Davide’s ex Ekin-Su spoke out for the first time since their split was confirmed last month.

In her statement, the 28-year-old thanked her fans for their support and noted that “it’s time to realign & get back to work”, adding that she has “an exciting year ahead”.

Carrie Johnson is now a mum-of-three!

The wife of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that they have welcomed their third child together.

The couple are now parents to a beautiful baby boy, who joins their three-year-old son Wilfred and one-year-old daughter Romy.

Carrie chose to take to social media earlier today to share the news of their new arrival. The 35-year-old shared several snaps of her newborn, including a sweet snap of little Wilfred greeting his baby brother.

“A week of Frankie,” Carrie gushed in the caption of her post.

The media consultant went on to announce her son’s name and date of birth to the public. “Welcome to the world Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson born 5th July at 9.15am. (Can you guess which name my husband chose?!),” she added teasingly.

Carrie finished off her caption by giving a brief update on how they have adjusted with their new bundle of joy.

“Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble. Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten,” she penned, before jokingly writing: “Time for a drink".

Many well-known faces have since taken to Carrie’s comments section to congratulate the family.

“Congratulations! Cool birthday too, as a fellow July 5ther! X,” replied journalist Bryony Gordon.

“Congratulations and love to you all,” wrote Conservative MP Priti Patel.

“Wonderful news x,” added conservationist Damian Aspinall.

On May 19, Carrie shocked her followers when she announced that she was expecting her third child with husband Boris. 

“New team member arriving in just a few weeks,” she exclaimed at the time, alongside an image of her walking hand-in-hand with Wilfred and Romy.

“I’ve felt pretty exhausted for much of the last 8 months but we can’t wait to meet this little one,” Carrie continued.

“Wilf is v excited about being a big brother again and has been chattering about it nonstop. Don’t think Romy has a clue what’s coming…She soon will!” she teased.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has finally broken her silence on her split from Davide Sanclimenti.

Last month, Davide released a statement announcing that the former Love Island winners were no longer together.

The pair’s romance had lasted for just under a year, as they met and fell in love during last summer’s season of the hit ITV dating show.

At the time, Ekin-Su chose not to respond to Davide’s statement, particularly because she was spending time with her loved ones in her native Turkey.

Now, a few weeks on, the 28-year-old has returned to social media to speak about her recent absence.

In a message posted to her Instagram stories, Ekin-Su chose to address her 3.2M followers.

“Hi everyone, I thought it was time to come back online to thank you so much for all of your messages over the past 2-weeks,” she began. “It has shown me what a kind, supportive, strong community I have behind me.”

Ekin-Su then went on to explain the reason behind her silence.

“I took some much needed time away with my family which has been really special but now it's time to realign & get back to work,” the reality star wrote.

“I have such an exciting year ahead & I want to fully focus on that. I really appreciate your ongoing support. Thank you for cheering me on,” she concluded, notably refraining from mentioning Davide.

On June 29, Love Island fans were shocked when Davide released a brief message to social media to confirm that his relationship with Ekin was over. The news came just two days after the stars had attended the London premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny together.

“@ekinsuofficial & I are no longer together,” the 28-year-old wrote at the time.

“I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time, I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible,” Davide added.

The Little Mix singer is celebrating a milestone birthday today, as she turns 30.

However, Perrie has revealed that she has already marked her birthday in a pretty lavish way!

The Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker took to Instagram last night to post some official snaps from her 30th birthday party, which was held on Saturday night.

The first photo showcases Perrie looking stunning in a white cut-out dress, as she poses beside a balloon display, a huge light-up ‘30’, and a sign that reads: ‘Perrie’s 30th Birthday’.

As well as two black-and-white snaps of the mum-of-one holding a giant ‘Perrie’s 30th Birthday’ balloon, Perrie also chose to post a heartwarming image of herself with her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their son, Axel.

“So this is Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving?!” Perrie teased in the caption of her post, hinting at the famous quote from the Jennifer Garner film 13 Going On 30.

“Thank you so much for all the birthday love & wishes! Feeling so blessed and content at 30!” the BRIT award-winner penned sweetly.

Many have since taken to Perrie’s comments section to share their own well-wishes on her special day.

“Happy birthday!! X,” wrote former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore.

The news comes after Perrie’s Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall confirmed that she had also attended the celebrations.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old re-shared a selfie of herself with Perrie on Instagram, posing alongside hair stylist Aaron Carlo and dancer Randall Watson.

Last month, Perrie confirmed that she has started working on her first solo album, after Little Mix chose to take a hiatus in May 2022.

“I’ve been a little quiet lately… and it’s because I’m working hard on my first solo ALBUM!” the Black Magic singer exclaimed in a TikTok video. 

“We’re getting there, one step at a time. I cannot wait to share it all with you,” she concluded.
