Lunch habits vary widely from person to person.

Some people might do the same thing everyday and then there's the ones that change things up a bit depending on their mood/weather/financial situation.

But whatever you're into, it turns out that your lunch habits can actually tell a lot about you.

Research from the University of Central Lancashire claims that it can be broken down into four personality traits.

If you take as long as you can on your lunch break and don't stick to a routine, apparently you're impulsive.

However, if you eat at your desk, and talk to other collegues during your lunch break, you're a conformist.

The socially savvy of us typically head to the employees' kitchen or eating area, and see work as a "social scene."

And, if you rush out to grab a bit to eat during the day, but put in extra hours in work, you're a perfectionist.

The sun is going to be partially shining this week, so it looks we might be a bit impulsive here in Shemazing HQ.

There are few among us who haven't experienced the death of a loved one, and while we know everyone navigates grief in their own way, as adults we have the capacity to seek understanding, comfort and information from a variety of outlets.

But what if you're a child who has to come to terms with the passing of a sibling?

Having experienced the death of two siblings over the course of 20 years, three sisters from Roscommon decided to establish a charity which aims to provide comfort and support to children who are dealing with the passing of a brother and sister.

In January of last year, Aishleen, Katie-Anne and Charlotte O'Toole were left devastated by the sudden passing of their 30-year-old sister Jacinta from a brain aneurysm, and ultimately began a grieving process which they endured 20 years previously when their brother Declan died at the age of seven.

"When he passed we knew only too well how it felt to be raised and cared for by parents that have lost a child and as brothers and sisters that have lost one of our own," they said of their decision to establish a charity named after their sister.

Jacinta's Smile aims to provide grief-stricken children with a support network as well as an outlet to celebrate their own personal achievements and triumphs.

"We know as adults how important it is to have something to look forward to and to explore our growth so it is imperative that Jacinta’s Smile can offer the children a sense of achievement, belonging and something positive to look forward to," they explained.

Next month, the charity will be bringing groups of children, aged between 8-16, who have lost a sibling to Delphi Mountain Resort in Connemara where they will be celebrated, listen to and supported through a range of fun and engaging activities.

If you know of a child or teenager who would like to take part in next month's activities or simply benefit from the work being done by Jacinta's Smile, you can find out more information here.

They've played famous sisters Arya and Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones for years and now it looks like we're going to finally see some of their singing talents.

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have announced that they are set to appear on Carpool Karaoke, and we're already dying for their episode.

The girls will be gearing up to go behind the wheel to take part in the new series-length version of Carpool Karaoke on Apple Music.

Sophie and Maisie took to Twitter yesterday to tell their fans of the great news, but couldn't help adding a few puns into the tweet.

They captioned the video, "STARKpool Karaoke? Lane of Thrones?"

Since most of the season is already filmed it might be a few months until we get to see the ladies in action.

It looks like our foodie pics might be a bit more helpful than just making our Instagram feeds look good.

It turns out that taking pictures of your food can actually make you healthier.

Research carried out at Oregon State University claims that snapping your food can improve your health and can even help people with diabetes.

The study was carried out on 114 nutrition students in the US and Australia. They had to identify the foods that were in the pictures, as well as figure out their serving sizes and weight.

The students were able to identify different foods, with an 80 per cent success rate. However, when it came to serving sizes, only 38 per cent of the students were able to give an estimate that was within 10 per cent of the actual weight.

"Dietary intake information is important both to individuals using nutrition-based therapy for conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, and to entire populations for identifying nutrition and disease risk," the study said.

The research further claims that by using photography as a means of understanding food, it could help people in the first stages of diabetes come to terms with their dietary changes.

Mary Clusky, one of the authors of the study said: "If you're providing me with your dietary intake information, you may not be trying to falsify the information, because you're sincerely interested in improving your diet.

"But I'm depending on your ability to recall what you ate and your ability to correctly tell me what portions and specific ingredients you had; there are all kinds of things that can make it go wrong.

"Images can facilitate your recall, and they also prompt important questions from a dietitian: 'Was that low-fat dressing or high-fat?' Plus, images make dietary assessments more entertaining because people do like to take pictures of food."

So, there you go. Time to start snappin'.

We'll be honest, our Sunday nights wouldn't be complete without an hour with Dermot Bannon and the crew.

From arguing over whether dado rails are passé to debating the merits of a skylight, Room To Improve brings out the architect or interior designer in all of us.

And while we all know the show is hugely popular up and down the country, a quick scroll through Twitter during its broadcast proves just how into the programme the good folk of Ireland truly get.

Whether they're rooting for a couple, questioning their choice of drawer handle or remarking on Dermot's love of windows, Twitter gets involved.

And last night, they got REALLY involved when Mary, her son Darragh and her daughter-in-law Sarah decided to reconstruct the family home…

According to emerging reports, multiple smartphones have been affected by malware which was installed before the devices even made it to designated stores.

It has been established that cyber security firm, Check Point, detected a “severe infection” on 38 handsets which were being used by two of its corporate clients, a telecommunications firm and a multinational technology company.

Informing the public of developments, Check Point, explained: "According to the findings, the malware were already present on the devices even before the users received them."

"The malicious apps were not part of the official ROM supplied by the vendor, and were added somewhere along the supply chain."

Highlighting the severity of the situation, the firm's blog post continued: "Pre-installed malware compromise the security even of the most careful users."

"In addition, a user who receives a device already containing malware will not be able to notice any change in the device’s activity which often occur once a malware is installed.”

It is understood that the security breach affects leading brands including Samsung, LG and Google.

Check Point have compiled a list highlighting the devices which have been affected, but are eager to stress that not every model of the listed devices have fallen foul of the malware installation.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 2
  • LG G4
  • Samsung Galaxy S7
  • Samsung Galaxy S4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5

A woman in the States, who successfully fended off a sex attacker during a jog, has taken to Instagram to encourage women to seek self-defence training should they ever find themselves in the same situation.

Kelly Herron stopped at a public restroom during a four-mile jog when she found herself confronted by a man who had been hiding in one of the bathroom stalls.

After struggling with her assailant on the bathroom floor, Kelly found herself using moves she had learned in a self-defence class before locking her attacker in the bathroom until police arrived at the scene.

My biggest running nightmare became reality- 4 miles into my long run Sunday afternoon, I stopped to use the restroom and was assaulted by a man hiding in a stall (that is my GPS in red lines). I fought for my life screaming("Not today, M**F**er!"), clawing his face, punching back, and desperately trying to escape his grip- never giving up. I was able to lock him in the bathroom until police arrived. Thankfully I just took a self-defense class offered at my work and utilized all of it. My face is stitched, my body is bruised, but my spirit is intact. #fightingchanceseattle #ballard #runnersafety #marathontraining #womensselfdefense #myballard #fightlikeagirl #fightback #dontbeavictim #nottodaymotherfucker #youcantbreakme #instarunners #garmin #garminvivosmarthr

A post shared by Kelly Herron (@run_kiwi_run) on

Speaking on Good Morning America, the young woman recalled the moment she realised her life was in danger.

"As I was drying my hands I became aware that something was wrong," she explained. "It was a fight on the bathroom floor."

"I had learned at the self-defence class to put hard bones in soft fleshy places, so I just started beating the side of his head with the side of my hand," Kelly explained.

"All I could think was: ‘Not today, motherf*cker’. I was screaming. I was able to pull myself out through the front of the stall, because that door was jammed. I started to feel like I was going to lose consciousness." she continued.

"But then I got another surge of adrenaline, and I reached for the door and was able to get out."

Kelly took to Instagram to share two images of her attacker, Gary Matthew Steiner, while reminding him of her message, writing: "FIGHT LIKE A SAVAGE! I might pay your $750,000 bail just to let my running squad finish the job."

Relived Kelly made it out of the terrifying situation relatively unscathed, Instagram users offered support, with one writing: "You are a true hero, nice fighting . U kicked his ass."

"You absolute hero! Glad you're fine and he is locked up," wrote another while someone else added: "This makes me really motivated to get onto a self defence class! You are amazing!!"

Gary Steiner is reportedly facing charges of potential rape and assault.

There are some health warnings that we are all aware of – but what about those random spots, rashes and skin blemishes that seem to just appear out of nowhere?

While many of us will brush these off as random irritations, some skin symptoms are the first red flags of a more serious condition.

Here are seven that you should be aware of – and never ignore.

1. Changing moles

Always check in with a doctor or skin specialist if you notice the development of a new mole, or changes to an existing one. Things to look out for include: changes in size, shape and colour; blood or discharge; sudden itching or irritation, or if a pigmented lesion differs in appearance from your other moles, described as ‘an ugly duckling’. The ABCDE method indicates what changes to look for.

  • Asymmetry: One side doesn't match the other.

  • Borders. The edges are irregular or jagged.

  • Colour. The colour is not the same throughout the mole.

  • Diameter. Larger than 6mm.

  • Evolution. There is a change in the size, shape, surface (especially bleeding), colour or new symptoms (such as tenderness).

2. Pearlescent/grey bumps

Indeed, any changes in the skin, including lumps or changes in texture, should be noted. For example, have you noticed a shiny lump with a ‘pearl like’ rim and a central crater? Then you should make an appointment with your doctor or a skin specialist as this is one of the tell-tale sign of basal cell carcinoma, which is the most commonly occurring form of skin cancer.

3. Breast dimpling

When it comes to breast cancer, the majority of women will know to check for lumps. However, dimpling is another red flag and can occur when cancer cells obstruct the lymphatic drainage in the breast tissue. If dimpling or other changes of the breast are observed, your doctor should be consulted straightaway.

4. Tender, crusting rashes

It’s important to look after any particularly tender or aggressive rashes. If left untreated to the point where they are regularly bleeding or crusting, this could be a sign of a more serious underlying condition or potential infection.

5. Lumps or abscesses in your private parts or underarm

These could be the first signs of an inflammatory skin disease of the hair follicle, known as hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) or acne inversa.

These recurring painful, ‘boil-like’ lumps or abscesses typically occur in the armpits, groin and buttocks; as well as under the breasts and around the perianal area.

With a new study revealing that it can take up to eight years to diagnose HS due to lack of awareness, it’s important to take note of these symptoms and talk to your doctor.

6. Meningitis rash

As a potentially life-threatening illness, it’s extremely important to know the signs of meningitis, and to catch it early. A typical rash associated with meningitis will look red or purple, developing from small spots into bruise-like blotches.

If the rash is accompanied by common symptoms of meningitis – including fever, headache, light sensitivity, neck stiffness, vomiting and disorientation – contact your doctor immediately.

In the meantime, perform the glass test, by simply pressing a glass tumbler against the rash. If the rash doesn’t fade under the pressure, you could well be dealing with a case of meningitis.

7. Bruising easily

Have you noticed that your skin bruises following even minor bumps or the slightest pressure? If so, you need to consult with your doctor, as this (together with a number of other symptoms) can sometimes be a warning sign that you could be suffering from leukaemia.

Leukaemia interferes with the body’s ability to produce healthy white blood cells. As they grow in number, these abnormal cells also interfere with the production of other types of blood cells, preventing the body from protecting and healing itself to the best of its ability.

The Irish Skin Foundation (ISF) has just launched a new campaign, #Five17Eight, to raise awareness of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS); an often misunderstood and misdiagnosed chronic skin condition.

A new online hub dedicated to HS containing a dedicated handbook and inspiring stories from individuals living with HS will be available from Monday 6th March on www.irishskin.ie.

From symptom recognition to care tips, it is hoped this resource will fill an information void that exists for the many people living with HS who may be undiagnosed, as well as those who have lived with HS for many years and may feel isolated by the condition.

This new resource aims to help people living with HS or those concerned that they may have HS, to recognise their symptoms and get the support they need.

There are few among us who haven't done a little 'investigating' on social media in our time.

Whether it's trawling Facebook groups for the kid you sat beside in Junior Infants or launching a fullblown search for your ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend, we've all been there.

And when you eventually come up short, you turn to your mate who could easily establish her own P.I service, right?

Reminding us that we're not alone in our endeavours, Emma Doran and Jen Hatton shared a video which perfectly illustrates the lengths we go to and the conclusions we jump to when our curiosity gets the better of us.

We'll let these ladies take it from here…

It's official, ladies.

Ed Sheeran will, indeed, be making a guest appearance on season 7 of Games of Thrones, and social media is struggling to deal right now.

In addition to news reports announcing Ed's upcoming role, the man himself took to Twitter to confirm the speculation, tweeting: "Guess that cats out of the bag." (sic)

Commenting on rumours at the South by Southwest Film Festival yesterday, producers for the hit show revealed that Ed will indeed be making an appearance, but kept schtum on any further details pertaining to the singer's character.

Fans of the singer who wouldn't generally consider themselves Game of Thrones fan have (unsurprisingly) had a sudden change of heart.

"IM SUDDENLY INTO GAME OF THRONES," wrote one while another added: "I don't even watch GOT but I'll watch the part your in."

On Friday, Ciara was involved in a minor car accident when her car hit another on the passenger side as she was trying to make a left turn.

And even though we saw the TMZ photos of her talking on her phone after the accident, there was no confirmation on whether Ciara had any injuries.

Thankfully, Ciara's husband Russell Wilson tweeted fans to say that everyone is doing well.

"Momma Wilson & Baby Wilson are feeling great! God is good!" he tweeted, with Ciara later tweeting, "Thankful for Gods Grace (sic), and Amniotic Fluid."

We're glad the family are all OK!
