The time has come, ladies.

After years of begging Facebook to install a 'dislike' button, the folk behind the social media site have finally listened to their users, and will be trialling the feature on their messenger app.

According to emerging reports, the social media giant intend users to attach emojis to messages in much the same way we attach reactions to public posts.

But don't get too excited just yet because – for the time being – the feature will only be rolled out across a small number of users.

Commenting on developments, a Facebook representative said: "We’re always testing ways to make Messenger more fun and engaging."

"This is a small test where we enable people to share an emoji that best represents their feelings on a message," they added.

Up until now, the global corporation have railed against demands for a dislike button due to fears it would encourage online bullying and isolate potential clients.

My boot scootin' baby is driving me crazy…

Yep, iconic 90s band Steps are making a comeback. All original members are planning to embark on an arena tour later this year and will travel all over the Ireland and UK.

Steps are also set to release a new album ahead of their 20th anniversary, Party On The Dancefloor.

But, that's not just it. Steps will be supported by The Vengaboys, and we honestly don't think this gig could get any better.

Speaking about their new music and upcoming tour, the band said that fans are going to love it all, as it will be a mix of new and old.

“This is the album we think our fans have been waiting for. It was very important for us to have a hint of the past but to try to blend it into modern day music," they said in a statement.

“We think Steps are a little bit of what everyone needs right now. We can’t wait to take the new album plus all our favourite hits out on the road."

The tour kicks off in our fair city on November 13, with tickets going on sale this Friday.

Road Saftey campaigners, PARC, said that the new law should be a "no brainer."

A spokesperson for the group said: "When a garda stops a learner driver and charges him or her for driving unaccompanied, it makes no sense whatsoever that the garda must then allow that driver to continue their journey driving unaccompanied."

Minister Ross said in the Dáil: “Currently, gardaí have the power to detain vehicles in a number of circumstances such as where the vehicle is untaxed, uninsured or does not have an NCT,” he said.

“An extension of this power to cover vehicles being driven by unaccompanied learners would require an amendment to Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994. I would like to advise that this is something that I am willing to consider in the context of future road traffic legislation.”

It's not a good day for Kate Moss as it has been reported that nude photographs have been stolen from her online files.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, the snaps were taken as she was getting ready for her star-studded nuptials.

A source told the publication: “Kate will be fuming about this. Even though she has now split with Jamie, this set of photos is still really close to her heart and they are very, very private.

“Kate is obviously no stranger to getting her clothes off for photo-shoots, but these images were different. Some were meant only to been seen by Jamie, and the rest were for close family and friends and have never been released.

“It’s disgusting hackers can get away with this for the second time in four months. She is now looking into ways of increasing her online security.”

This isn't the first hacking scandal to surround the family, though.

Last year, Kate's sister Lottie Moss' online accounts were hacked. Private conversations and photos were leaked to the public in this incidence.
