If you can communicate an entire concept using little more than a sequence of emojis, then a change in career path might be on the horizon.

According to a report in Newsweek, Today Translations are seeking an 'emoji translator' to address cross-cultural misunderstandings which arise from the use of emojis across the globe.

The London-based company is eager to address communication issues which stem from the 'world’s fastest-growing language,' and this is where you might just come in.

"Emoji translation is itself an emerging field – but one dominated to date by software, which is often insensitive to the many cultural differences in usage and interpretation," the ad read.

"We are therefore seeking an exceptional individual to provide the human touch needed where translation software is inadequate."

"In the absence of any native speakers, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a passion for emojis, combined with cutting-edge knowledge and awareness of areas of confusion and cultural/international differences," it continued.

A degree in Social Sciences with Linguistics, Social Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or Communication are desirable, but not essential, so it might be time to look into this one!

America's Next Top Model is a noughties classic, with hosts Tyra Banks, Janice Dickenson and Ms J honing the skills of wannabe models year in and year out.

Now, as the show enters its 23rd season, Tyra has vacated her throne as head judge for someone all together unexpected.

When you think "super model" the likes of Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Adrian Lima spring to mind, but the new head judge is none other than songstress Rita Ora.

Rita shot to fame after being mentored by none other than Jay-Z, and has since had a successful album, a collaborative collection with Addidas and guest judging spots on the X Factor, but not a lot of straight modelling experience.

Fans of ANTM were quick to point this out, with some going so far as to say they will be boycotting the show if someone as "inexperienced" at modelling as Rita Ora takes the reigns.

Some pointed out the fact that Rita hasn't quite broken America, despite her supporting role in Fifty Shades of Grey and her chart topping hit Black Widow with Iggy Azelia.

Rita will be joined by plus sized model and body positivity activist Ashley Graham, as well as stylist  Law Roach and chief creative officer of Paper Magazine Drew Eliot, who successfully helped Kim Kardshian break the internet with her infamous champagne popping cover.

Guest stars are set to include Zendaya, DJ Khaled, Tinashe, Jason Derulo, Amber Rose, French Montana, Chanel Iman and Jasmine Sanders.

If the trailer for the new show is anything to go by, it's set to be a lit season.

It's safe to say that James Corden lands some smashers on Carpool Karaoke. From Adele, to One Direction and even Michelle Obama, we have loved watching every single one of them.

However, one person James doesn't seem too keen on having on the show is Robbie Williams.

The singer has revealed that he was a tad desperate to get a seat in James' car, but the American talk show host has been ignoring him.

Robbie told the Daily Star: "I suppose you have to be famous in America to do Carpool. I'm not famous there. I'm yet to tick that box.

"James hasn't got back to me about doing Carpool Karaoke yet. It does need to happen."

He has a point, we'd love to bring back some old school Robbie in the car!

Ah Funderland, what would our childhoods have been without it?

Only second to the arrival of Santa Claus, the annual trip to the dizzy-making, nausea-inducing world of rides was the best part of the Christmas holidays.

These days Funderland has an array of incredible new attractions including the Eclipse, Discovery, Polyp, Break Dance and Star Flyer as well as Ireland's largest outdoor ice rink, but back in our day it was a haze of candy floss, sticky rides, and overexcited children.

And here are just nine things that happened the moment you entered the Land of Fun.

1. Whether it was the result of too much junk food or a third spin on the same damn ride, someone would ALWAYS get sick.

“Don’t mind me, lads. I’ll be back to myself in no time.”

2.  Your country cousins, who always made the pilgrimage to Dublin for the big event, made no secret of their awe over your cityslicker ways.

“Take it all in, folks.  You’re in the big smoke now… don’t look at anyone in a hoody.”

3.  You happily kissed goodbye to every penny you made off kindly aunts and uncles over the Christmas period.

“I’m getting another bag of candyfloss and I’m eating it on the Dodgems and then I’m getting another bag and then I’m going on the Dodgems again – Aunt Margaret would have wanted it this way.”

4. At least one person in your gang would get the shift, and everyone else realised it was time to up their game.

“It was like a washing machine, and I’m so in love.”

5. You ruined at least one item of your good Christmas outfit that you begged to be allowed wear, and you had to muster up the courage to tell your mam.

“Don’t panic, but I’m after tearing the arse out of my tracksuit bottoms, but it’s grand cos I’m just going to tie my jumper around my waist.”

6. The excitement sometimes got the better of you, and you would get taken aside by your dad who told you to calm jaysusin’ down.

“You’re frightening the other kids, and you’re making a show of your mother.”

7. Word would get around that a random kid had found a way to sneak onto the rides, and the mission to find him was officially on.

“I’ll take this side, you take that side, and between the pair of us we’ll have him cornered.”

8. After a certain age, you’d try to lose your parents in the crowd before being told you’d be made sit in the car if you pulled anything like that again.

“You’re pushing your luck now, I’m telling you.”

9. You were forced to go on the lamest ride in the park simply because it was all a younger sibling could handle.

"Get up there with your sister, and don't be making her feel bad."

Gintern: An (incredibly jammy) individual who is paid to travel Europe and drink gin.

Yes, it actually exists and ladies, if ever there was a job with our name written all over it, it's this one.

But unfortunately, we're not the only ones who think so as company, ILoveGin, learned after a staggering 4,000 people applied for their £20,000 a year position.

Having been inundated with applicants following their posting in September, the website have yet to fill the vacancy and are still working through the thousands of gin aficionados who are more than willing to sample all Europe has to offer on the gin front next year.

Commenting on the to-die-for position, the company said: "We were so overwhelmed with demand, over 4,000 applicants, that we couldn't work through them all before Christmas. We're looking to re-start the vetting process and hire someone in early 2017."

"We're looking for an enthusiastic gin-loving intern – 'Gintern' as we like to call it – who will be happy to spend their days trying new gins, new mixers, finding new brands to work with, visiting distilleries, pairing gins and "ginspiring" us with their new-found knowledge."

The lucky gintern, in this case, must live in the UK, so we're out of the running this time, but the minute one becomes available in Ireland, we'll be ON it.

We have to say, we were pretty delighted that all the One Direction lads showed up to the X Factor to support their band mate, and friend, Louis Tomlinson.

Louis took to the stage on Saturday night to sing his debut song, Just Hold On, in tribute to his late mother, Johannah Deakin, who passed away last Wednesday.

The 1D lads were all there in the audience to support him and even went out with him afterwards in London.

However, only a few hours later, Niall Horan was back in the US, and when reporters asked him why the quick visit, Niall simply said he had "a very good reason."

As the Mullingar man stepped back on US soil, a reporter shouted to him, "Weren't you in the UK like an hour ago?"

Niall replied, "Yeah, I flew home for… I was in the UK for twenty hours. For a very good reason."

A source who was behind the scenes at the X Factor told The Sun: “It was an incredible and special thing for them to get back together as a four and be like brothers again.

“Niall flew in overnight from New York so he could be there and Liam came from Los Angeles. It was that important they were together.

“They were all in Louis’ dressing room together and it was obviously an incredible emotional night," they added.

As most of her fans will now know, one of Ireland's most high-profile bloggers, Suzanne Jackson, has just launched her very own fashion line.

The hotly-anticipated collection includes pieces designed by the influencer herself, and is inspired by her popular personal style.

(left to right) ASOS,€266.00, Boohoo,€53.87, SOSUbySJ €105.00

The collection comes in an inclusive size 8 to size 16 in most items.

As expected, the collection is already running low on certain sizes, but luckily we've spotted a few affordable bits to help you get the SoSueMe look from alternative stockists and retailers.

Boohoo €17.95 SOSUbySJ €25.00

And while there's no replicating the award-winning entrepreneur's eye for design, the few dupes we've stumbled across will nevertheless help you get your Suzanne Jackson fix until you can get your hands on the real deal.

The blogger says she spent the last 12 months working on her debut collection, designing certain pieces from scratch herself while also working as a buyer, sourcing unique pieces to stand alongside original designs in the collection .

Pretty Little Thing €14, Minna Vanilla €10.75, SOSUbySJ €39.95

"About 12 months ago I decided I wanted to do fashion. I designed some pieces in the collection myself from absolute scratch and I also hand picked some pieces from other designers in th UK and Paris," said the make-up mogul.

Pieces like the suede dress, skirt suits and purple party dress are all Suzanne's own original designs.

 River Island €55.00, SOSUbySJ €45.00

"So theres a bit of a mix of my designs and other peoples designs.

"They are pieces that are very personal to me and that I have worked a hell of a long time on," she continued, in a Snapchat video story.

 Dollskill €35.00, BSB €69.00, SOSUbySJ €29.95

"They have been the most challenging pieces I have ever worked on," she said of the impressive 35-piece collection.

One of the more unusual pieces in the collection that cause major ensemble envy over on Instagram is this unique bodysuit, which is sure to be a complete sell out after Suzanne styled the piece on model sister Carla – also a major social media influencer.

AX Paris €26.67, SOSUbySJ €35.00

So Sue's personal style shines through in the collection, as "hero pieces" like the embroidered leather jacket, faux fur gillets and affordable denims could easily be integrated into the blogger's own wardrobe and are reminiscent of her typical outfit of the day shots.

This is a massive move from her successful beauty business. We can't wait to see what the blogger creates next!

We're sending huge congratulations to Blue singer, Antony Costa who has just announced that he is to become a father for the second time.

Taking to Twitter to reveal his happy news, the singer posted a picture of his two-year-old daughter, Savannah, holding up the scan, and wrote: "Can't believe it".

Holing up a white board, the toddler asks us to "Guess what?", while another snap of her holding the same board has "I'm gonna be a big sister!" on it.

The third picture sees her with a cheeky smile holding up the scan pictures.

Not surprisingly, fans were quick to offer the 35-year-old singer and his fiancée Rosanna Jasmin their congratulations.

Aw, we're delighted for the couple.

How many times have you had your name spelled incorrectly on your Starbucks Grande Latte order? More than once, we'd guess.

And how many times have you taken to social media to call Starbucks out on their error while sharing an image of their offending name tag? Again, more than once, right?

Well, if conspiracy theorists are to be believed, you've been playing into the global corporation's hands in that case.

In a move which has YouTubers picking their jaws off the floor in recent days, YouTube channel, Super Deluxe, conducted an experiment and it looks like they might just be on to something.

With the help of a woman named Molly, who visited five branches of the coffee chain, the channel suggested that the coffee house purposely misspell our names so we'll share the mistake on social media.

And hey presto, free advertising.,..

She may have arrived in the jungle looking pretty high-maintenance, but behind Scarlett Moffatt's nails, tan and hair extensions, it sounds like she was only dying to go au naturel.

After being crowned the Queen of the Jungle, the Gogglebox star opened up about her hygiene routine while Down Under, and it doesn't exactly tally with the gal who made a spray tan her priority before taking her place on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the reality star revealed that over the course of three weeks, she showered – wait for it – just four times.

Reflecting on her camp mate Sam Quek's shower routine, Scarlett said: "We did it together, so four! And I had a couple of dips in the creek."

Justifying her decision to avoid the shower, Scarlett joked: "It's not smell-o-vision, is it?"

"I fully embraced being feral. My hair still smells of campfire. I've tried washing it out and it just takes forever." the 26-year-old admitted.

And while the rest of us would just keep trying on that front, it sounds like Scarlett's mum, who rose to fame alongside her daughter on Gogglebox, has other ideas.

"My mam told me to Febreeze my hair. I said: 'I'm not Febreezing my hair!'" Scarlett exclaimed.

We're with her on that one, Betty.

It's easy to dismiss the Nitelink's humble merits (namely saving us a small fortune on taxis) but it's actually been the venue for some of our absolute favourite memories after a night out.

The time the whole upper deck took Fairytale of New York to the next level and the night we fell asleep and woke up wearing Santa hats courtesy of our fellow passengers, to name but two.

Not only that but it's often a beacon of a late-night romance – as one driver recently revealed when asked to recount his favourite festive season memory.

After seeing the kindling of a couple’s romance aboard his Nitelink route; a year later he was driving the wedding bus and explained that it was only after arriving at the wedding venue, he realised it was the same couple’s special day!

Now, as Nitelink season kicks off once again in earnest – here are just 7 things we love about it.

1. The spontaneous sing-songs

All you need is someone to kick it off at the top, and someone else to chime in from the back, and you're away in a hack.

"Jaysus, does anyone know anything other than the chorus?"

2. The sense of comradery

Piling onto a bus with a group of strangers – some of whom have lost their mates, others of whom have lost their dignity – is your chance to home your agony aunt skills.

"I don't know how he managed to pull and you didn't, but a few more bites of that Spice Box and you'll be laughing."

3. The sneaky chipper

You know you're not meant to have it, but there's no way you'll make it through the entire journey if you don't get at least one burger into you before bed-time.

"It's grand, I'll just put my head in my handbag and eat it in there."

4. The frantic sprint

No matter how many times you check the timetable and terminus, you always find yourself sprinting through the city centre in stilettos to make it on time.

"I swear to God, it moves stops every single time."

5. The awkward encounter

While it might be hideous at the time, filling your mates in on the couple who broke up in full view of everyone on the top deck makes for serious hangover fodder.

"First he was crying and then she was crying and then this fella laughed and then I cried."

6. The six degrees of separation

It doesn't matter how alone you feel before hopping on board, you can be guaranteed you will, in some capacity, know half the bus within five minutes.

"I knew you looked familiar! I think my older sister used babysit your cousin! And c'mere to me, are you still big into the GAA?"

7. The home stop

It's taken all your willpower not to fall asleep on the lap of a stranger, and now the end is in sight.

"I'm home. Oh God, I'm home! Suck it €30 taxi fare!"
